Something was wrong with him.

He could hear electricity buzzing in his ears, practically yelling at him to announce their presence. It was annoying. His eyes opened and the bright light made him shut it once more. Groaning, he opened them slowly this time and got used to the lighting pretty quickly. He moved his head to the left and was shocked to see that... he couldn't exactly see what was in front of him. It was so blurry. He could make out a window, a glass window, and white figures... no, that isn't right. That was probably humans in lab coats or something. No, they definitely were. He wasn't sure why he was so sure about that though.

He tried to stand up only to find that he was bound to the table. He began to struggle and he managed to free one hand and used that to free his other hand and then took off the binds to his feet. He scrambled off of the metal bed he was on. He took a deep breath to alleviate his panic but the buzzing of electricity is making it really hard not to get ticked off. He began to cough and when he opened his eyes, he saw something really weird.

His hand was colored light grey. He began to inspect every inch of his front body and surely, it was all colored the same. He scrambled for the door and opened it, to reveal that it was a bathroom. He saw the mirror and saw that he looked like himself but with light grey coloring and something like gills on the sides of his neck but it was closed. Then another thing caught his eye. It was a tail. Only then was he able to feel it. It responded to his will.

"The hell..." He muttered to himself. His mind began to process everything. The tail looked like that of an electric eel, one of his favorite animals in the world. And the skin color matches theirs. What the hell happened to him? He exited the bathroom and stormed to the other door and then tried to open it, only to find it locked. He then began banging on the door, demanding them to get in there or else he'll wreck everything inside.

The scientists rushed inside and tried to subdue the angry male. One scientist made the mistake of grabbing Vladimir's hand which caused Vladimir to involuntarily shock the scientist, to the point of knocking him out. He was alive but unconscious. Everyone took a step back. Vladimir himself was quite shocked to see this. Of course, he looked like an electric eel and so he should be able to generate electricity too. That explains the other sources of electricity being known to him, he was picking it up, just like how he picked up the presence of these scientists. "I need answers. Now." It wasn't a request, it was a demand. They quickly retold the story about the experiment.

Vladimir didn't say a thing. He stood up and headed for the door. None of the scientists attempted to stop him. And so he strode out of the building and then began to look around. Now what the heck was he supposed to do? Eh, whatever. It wasn't soon after he got out when this sort of bird-like human, probably one of the experiments, appeared from the door. It didn't seem to spot him and he didn't want it to. But he still continued on, now not really caring anymore. To hell with it.

"Too bright, too bright!" Was the first thing everyone heard when it came to the troublemaker's room. She clicked her tongue in annoyance before looking around. She saw her hands were bound to the table and so were her feet. Much more alarming is that she had hair on her forearms! Dude, that wasn't right. And it was so thick, like a monkey's. Ah, she'll worry about that later. She needed to get out. She hated being restrained. Absolutely hates it.

But the bounds weren't that complicated. She managed to free herself and then she sat up, cross-legged and began examining herself. She had hair on her forearms and she could feel that the same could be said on her back as well. And then there was this monkey tail attached to her coccyx. "So this was what they meant. This is so cool!" She exclaimed before jumping off of the table and then onto the door. She could hear shuffling on the other side. She turned the knob only to find it locked. "Oh what am I going to do now?" She asked to no one in particular and it was obvious that she was acting as if she had no chance in the world to get out.

Fishing a hair clip, or rather her own personal lockpick, out of her pocket, she inserted it inside of the keyhole and then began to play around with it. It wasn't soon until she heard the familiar click of success. She swung the door open and then grinned at the bewildered scientists. "Hello~" She greeted and then bounded for the scientists and her eyes was filled with curiosity and they knew what this meant. They explained to her the situation and she simply hummed as they did.

The explanation bored her. Basically, they signed up for an experiment that would get them animal DNA but something went horribly wrong and they got half-animal appearances. Cool! "Well if there's nothing else you want to say. I'm off!" The only main reason she was here was to escape juvie and jail soon after. She headed outside and then looked around. She seemed to be the first one out. Sweet! She headed towards the forest, climbed up on one of the trees and laid on the branches. It felt so relaxing. She could stay like this for quite a while. Her hand reached for the banana and began eating.

Zaru the Chimchar

Valiant Village

Zaru was quite amazed by what the twins did. Bro, doing the aura sphere and then beating Flash when he tried to suckerpunch their guildmaster was just simply... epic. He hadn't exactly expected the two to do something as flashy as that. Then the two left for the dojo. He was about to follow before he noticed a certain Zorua being sneaky so the Chimchar didn't jump down to congratulate the two. Instead, he followed Milton as he jumped from roof to roof. Honestly, he didn't know what he was doing but he was willing to go with it.

Suddenly, Milton jumped down so Zaru soon followed. What shocked him completely was Milton's sudden request to battle with the two. Come on! They literally just beat an outlaw, given that he was already injured and stuff, but still. He then noticed that Milton was in a really great disadvantage. Then Milton asked if someone would step up to help him. "I'll help you bro." He said, stepping up to the challenge. "After all, it's training ain't it?" He then looked at the Riolu twins. He'll also get to see just how fast these two were. Zaru was a quick monkey, that's for sure, but he never challenged these two fighting types so it will be interesting. And he'll improve. Good enough reason right?"

Drogo the Salamence

Drogo watched as the other pokemon came in after him. When he said that the time was up, he moved a boulder to block the entrance and Drogo couldn't help but wonder if there was some other pokemon who didn't make it but wanted to join them. He didn't dwell on it too much as he returned his attention to the pokemon present at the peak. There was the Bisharp, the Haunter, the Hippowdon, the Machamp and the Beartic. All of them seemed powerful and capable of handling themselves. Well to prove that, they did make it to the peak of the Infinity Mountain and they didn't seem injured.

Then the pokemon who referred to himself as "The Master" spoke once more. He offered them power, eternal life and money in exchange for their services and will get these should they succeed in every single request. The Salamence couldn't care less about power, but his interest was caught the moment he said money. And then there was the eternal life. Now that was something that could easily rope someone in. Admittedly, Drogo was interested in both the money and the eternal life. He looked back at the hidden cave that was opened. It was their choice, to join or not.

The others said they were in and now they were awaiting his and the Haunter's answers. Well what does he have to lose? "I will join your purpose." He answered. His speech seemed much more refined than the others but he didn't exactly want to be heard like that. It was just force of habit. Ah well. And then, he as well, turned to the Haunter, to hear his answer.

Celestia and Vince Montmogery

Mundane Skills:
Cook - She has excellent cooking and can whip up a good meal from anything edible
Alchemist - She’s adept in mixing things to create potions or poisons. She is therefore knowledgeable about different fauna and flora
Multilingual - She brushed up on her languages, just like her brother.
[Shapeshifter Skill] Shifting - They can take form of any animal they know of. They can also alter the appearances to fit another race’s looks.

Magical skills:
Summon Indriel - Indriel is a shadow that resembles a living man but pitch black. He is known to be the first prophet of the Goddess Ju’tai. He resembles a crusader, using a sword and shield and is moderately armored. He takes a lot of mana to summon but he will only disappear if killed or willed to disappear.
Raven Swarm - Summoning a flock of ravens which will head out and attack or pester targets.
Nightvision [Passive] - Given to all worshippers of Ju’tai, they can see normally in the night
Embrace the Darkness [Passive] - “Ju’tai protects her children in the darkness.” A black aura appears around the person which protects the person from blunt deadly blows and magical deadly shots.

Personality: Celesita is a quiet person. She is the shy type when compared to her brother. Rather, she isn’t shy about just not very social. She doesn’t know when to hold back the truth. She is honest, to the point where it can just hurt you. Well she doesn’t really care if you love or hate her or if you don’t appreciate her comments. She is one of the people who doesn’t fear what others say. Some say that she has a sharp tongue because of this but seriously, it’s just the truth. The harsh and cold reality.

She does everything for her Lady Ju’tai and she won’t hesitate to kill for her. In fact, Lady Ju’tai requires sacrifices of any living being so that she will continue giving her blessings. One simply puts a mark on a fresh dead creature and that would be considered as their sacrifice but it is more appreciated if you, yourself, kill the creature.

Celestia is extremely loyal though. Once she deems you her friend, she will do anything to help you but she won’t stop telling the truth. Right now though she is only loyal to her brother whom she loves dearly. She sticks to him and handles most of the social interactions because she knows that what she might say might not be the best and in turn would not benefit then.

Bio: Celestia is the younger one of the twins. But one thing that people should take note of is that they didn’t have parents. Rather they were found in front of the small house of the worshippers of Ju’tai, thus her inclination to worship and learn her magic. They grew up in the hands of the worshippers. There were only a few of them. They claimed that they didn’t sacrifice the two to Lady Ju’tai because the deity herself gave a sign not to. And so they grew up in the care of crazed worshippers.

Well, that’s a way to start your life. She always followed and liked Lady Ju’tai and she claims that the deity sometimes appeared in her dreams and always pushed her to do new things. It wasn’t long until she was a full-fledged worshipper and user of her magic. The worshippers claimed that she was the new prophet of Ju’tai but there hasn’t been any solid evidence of that.

Suddenly, Lady Ju’tai told the two to join the Adventurer’s Guild to further their learnings. It was sudden but Celestia did not hesitate to follow her orders and convinced her brother to join her. He agreed wholeheartedly. It was then that they entered the guild and started training there. She has seen some visions and talked to her deity but it was nothing major really.

Equipment: She carries around a knapsack with potions and poisons of her own making. She also carries an ebony knife meant for sacrificial rituals.

Mundane Skills:
Multilingual - Knowledgeable about most languages
Acrobat - He has great balance, stamina and agility
Sharpshooter - He has one of the best aiming skills due to his practice before and during the guild
[Shapeshifter Skill] Shifting - They can take form of any animal they know of. They can also alter the appearances to fit another race’s looks.

Magical skills:
Lightning bolt - Shoots a compact ball of lightning at a fast speed
Lightning Rune - Mostly used as a trap, it is mostly placed on the ground and whoever steps on it will be electrocuted.
Fireball - Shoots a compact ball of fire at a medium speed.

Personality: Vince is the more sociable of the two. He is the one who is capable of lying with a straight face and sugar coat everything. Unlike his sister, however, he isn’t a devotee of the deity. He worships her, sure, but isn’t exactly as die-hard as his sister. He doesn’t hesitate to kill anyone as sacrifice though as he is still a follower of Ju’tai but never seeked her help with magic.

Instead, he has an avid love for knowledge. His room is filled with books so that he can learn more about magic and how to use it and incorporate those into his everyday-life. One could easily say that he is obsessed with knowledge but he doesn’t care what others say, the more he knows, the smarter he is than others.

Vince does not easily trust anyone and the only one he does trust is his sister and by connection, Ju’tai. But that was it. He is not keen on finding ‘true friends’ or things like that. He could easily say that he could live with only his sister by his side. Losing her would practically equal death for him. After all, his purpose in life is to protect his sister until the very end, or at least that’s what he believes.

Bio: He is the older one of the twins. As said before, they were dropped off in front of a shrine-like place filled with worshippers of the Goddess of the Night, Ju’tai. They were originally going to become sacrifices, however, the deity gave a sign that they were people who should not be sacrificed. And so they grew up with the worshippers acting as their family. Unlike his sister, Vince had no interest in learning magic through Ju’tai. He began to leave the small shrine to buy some books and come back, shut himself inside and then read up on magic. He trained really hard and got that far.

One day, Ju’tai entered his dream. At first, he was weirded out by this. After all, only his sister had conversations with her. She informed him that he should take good care and protect his sister as they would go through hardships in the future and their bonds would be tested. The dream ended and that was when Vince decided that he would always stick by his sister.

That was why he readily agreed to join the guild. Not only because she was determined to go there but it would also give him a chance to learn from expert mages and have hands-on experience. He learned a lot there and is hoping to advance to Novice with his sister and maybe one day they would get to Advanced.

Equipment: He carries around a book about magic, but it varies every time he goes out. He also carries around an ebony dagger for sacrificial rituals because he is still a worshipper, just not to their magnitude.

They cannot use any of their magic skills when they are in animal form.
