Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Ryuuji had opted to stay outside for the moment.

It wasn't to say that he hated bars. He's hung out there multiple times to pass the time and whatnot. But sometimes, just sometimes, he hated having the smell of alcohol and smoke sticking to his clothing. Today was one of those times. He sat down on the bench, looking around with little interest. The alley was just beside the bench and he could just teleport whenever he wished. Everyone around him was too drunk, too high, or just doesn't care enough to notice him anyway. It was one of the reasons why he loved this place. He was unassuming. No one suspected him of anything. Heroes rarely passed by too. It was perfect. Besides, he could scout the people out too. They were on standby after all, wouldn't want anyone stumbling into the bar and whatnot.

Ryuuji wasn't sure when he got on this gig, and why he did. What had pushed him to do something like this. He would often think about it whenever he was alone. While he didn't want to be a hero, he didn't really know how he got sucked into the world of villains. Yes, his parents were dead, but they taught him well while they were still alive. Yes, he was separated from his sister who later died which fueled his rage and killed, but that was only for them. Perhaps he was only sticking around for the money then? Or perhaps, it was the only thing he knew by this point in time. He was picked up at a very young age, younger than most people who join the Dark Tree.

It sometimes made him think about his time at U.A. and how no one suspected him of anything. He was able to put up a facade for them to believe that he was there to become a hero, but it was a miracle no one thought that maybe he wasn't doing this for good. It was like nobody could even think of the off chance that a person who enrolled there was a spy. Or perhaps they were taken aback by his sob story - his parents died because of a villain and now he 'wanted' to 'save others from the same suffering that he and his sister went through'. They were truly foolish, and now information about their students during his stay there was safely tucked inside Blackened's office - waiting to be used.

After a while of thinking, he stood up and then disappeared into the alleyway. Before anyone could look to see where he was going, a black mist was left in the alley with nothing else around. He has disappeared.

Reappearing inside the hideout, he made a quick scan of the area.

So far, the people inside were the getaway guy, Shade Walker and Captain East - the latter two who usually worked together for some reason or another. Shade Walker was a force to be reckoned with. Not only was his appearance frightening, his quirk did more than just harmlessly pass through things. Ryuuji knew that keeping a distance would be the best bet of actually surviving a fight with him. He was a high ranking villain, and someone to look up to when you're in this kind of business. You learn to fear him too, and to never go to try to get on his bad side. His reputation were among some of the best there was, and his name hasn't been dirtied up by failures yet.

Captain East was an interesting one. Former hero Captain East - and one that never really got out of the uniform; instead, twisting it to form some sort of villainous end result for the former hero. His fall to villainy shook his fans to the core - but he only had himself to blame for allowing himself to get so attached to so many people who were slaughtered in one fell swoop. Ryuuji knew the feeling though, but he was never a hero. It didn't affect him as much. Captain East was an excellent addition to the team, or so he heard. With his unnatural strength, he's able to go toe to toe with so many other heroes. He was the Tank in the team. But the man was a drunkard - wasting away with a bottle on hand as he tries to drink himself out of misery. Pathetic, really, but at least he followed orders.

Then there was that other dude, and he was quite the getaway guy - using portals to teleport them elsewhere. Ryuuji appreciated the man's presence, since it meant that he didn't have to teleport at one point to another repeatedly to save his teammates, unlike what he sometimes did before. He wasn't with the Dark Tree, but he worked for money - and they had plenty of that from what he could see. Ryuuji should have tried to be a merc like him, but this pays good most of the time anyway.

Other members of the team were Dark Druid - Kishimoto. A woman to be feared when she snaps, so he heard. She manipulates plants and uses them to her advantage. He's heard of her case files where she uses her vines to hang people and leave them to their inevitable doom. It was quite the read.

Then the Doctor - Kashikoi. Smart. Small. Terrifying. Surprisingly helpful. Her quirk revolved around her being smart, and her robots proved it. They were, most of the time, helpful to have around and got them out of sticky situations every now and then. But she, herself, was relatively unimpressive when it came to fighting. She was odd, to say the least, but it wasn't entirely annoying for him.

Hell Raiser - Lucifer, a very apt name. He looked like a devil. He acted like a child most of the time, and his quirk seemed hard to control and was based off emotions than will. Sometimes, Ryuuji was just waiting for when he would burn himself up thanks to his attitude, but it hasn't happened yet. Not a native Japanese speaker, so they had to converse in English. It wasn't too much of a bother for him, to be perfectly honest.

And then, Rampage - Kane. Ryuuji can't say much about this abomination. Unlike most of them, he actually thrives in fights - always wanting to kill the opponent before him. He was the perfect guy to send out to eliminate a hero, and it was understandable why he was on this mission as well. Ryuuji has not attempted to socialize with him.

Ryuuji settled into the seats near the jukebox and then stared at the wall without much thought running in his head except thinking about when the call would finally come through.
@vancexentan

Alright, got it.

Should I assume that these group has been in more missions than just this one together? So that they actually work together well, or is this their first time being grouped together?

The girl still stayed none the wiser as he followed her, a smile playing on his lips as he figured this one out. It was quite fun to watch the young girl explore by herself. She looked like she knew the terrain well enough - so Flash deduced that she actually has escaped before and has traversed through this same forest at least once. But this was not the time to admire her bravery, or stupidity, as he was here on a job. Job or no, however, he needed to know where she was headed in the off chance that he was interested in sacking the place, or something similar to that action.

He was tempted to go to her and hand her a pair of extra gloves as the conditions were quite extreme. She had a weapon, yes, but that would be useful if she could use it thanks to her numbed hands. But he stayed his hand and watched as she made cloth grips on her pipe. Good enough, he supposed. He followed the trail of destruction that Falling Down made in her wake - branches now lay on the ground or broken on their trunks. Shame, she could get away much more easier if she covered up her tracks better. But it didn't seem like she was thinking that someone actually might be following her.

After some time of walking, he saw the edge of the forest and Falling Down there. This was Bearing Lake, was it not? Hm, now what would she be doing here. Certainly, she wouldn't be attempting to retrieve treasure from the dangerous lake - for one, she didn't have any cutting tools with her. This place was deemed to dangerous by most to visit and hunt treasure at. Flash himself wasn't foolish enough to go here by himself, but he never found anyone who was willing to come with him.

Once she was heading towards the church, he emerged from the forest. There was no cover here, but it didn't look like she was on the lookout for people... or people following her. Flash slowly followed her once more but now knew where she was headed. He spotted the run-down church off to the woods.

"Oh, would you look at that."

Interesting, he's never heard of this place before. It would seem the adventuring spirit in Falling Down was more useful than he originally thought. No one has talked about it before, imagine what sort of secrets it has within.

Carefully maneuvering himself through the dried rambles, making the occassional snap to get through without harming his clothing, and then he cleared the stone fence as well. He landed just as she began trying to open the door, masking his landing with the jiggling of the door. She seemed intent on having that door opened, and he was looking forward to what it had in store. But with his close proximity, it would be better to help than to keep himself hidden.

Clearing his throat, he began speaking. "I am inclined to advise you to not do that. With your pipe's condition, I'm afraid that it would break or not do the job." He paused for her reaction but didn't wait for very long as he continued forward. Indeed, the door was locked from the inside - or at least, it would be very difficult to open. They could just hack it to pieces, but that would decrease the sharpness of his sword and he wasn't too keen on that. He could blow it up...

Oh wait.

He could blow it up.

"Stand aside and stay clear. You wouldn't want yourself to get hurt, would you?" He gestured to his back as he reached for his pocket and then took out a bit of electrum. Just a small amount, just enough to blow this door up. The church was dilapidated, yes, but it shouldn't go down with only a small force applied to it. Whether or not Falling Down followed his instructions, he began.

He made a series of movements, all precise and timed - green eyes focused on the closed door before them. Electricity began crackling around his hands as he moved. He then pointed his palm at the door and a surge of electricity poured forward. Instead of merely electrocuting what was there, though, there was quite an explosion. It should be enough to fling the doors forward, but not enough to take them off their hinges - unless it was weathered so much that it would fail to withstand such a force.

A grin spread to his face as he watched the explosion. It was small in size, definitely not as big as he would have wanted, but it would have shaken the structure of the church if it was really in bad conditions. But it was enough to make him giddy. Ooh, he hoped he could do so much more. Alas, he could only do this right now or risk exposing himself to this girl. While it wouldn't be of too much consequence, seeing as he was willing to accompany her now, he didn't want anyone to know. Never, if he wanted to continue his job at the Guard.

Nevertheless, he dusted off his hands and then looked towards the teen. "After you."
@Ambra

No rush man.
@LetMeDoStuff

Ah well, it happens. Good luck with getting better and I hope I see you again at some point. Maybe I'll also join your RP, who knows.
@Ambra

Yep. Still here and ready to RP.
Ah, just a heads up, we're doing a collab post and we're waiting on Kitty to reappear. Must be busy with real life stuff.

Anyhow, just an update.
@ihinka

Ah, I think we established that Abigail suspects him of being a werewolf - but has never seen him in action to be completely sure. Though, he never told anyone about her being the Alpha. Up until the point Abigail tells him that she's a werewolf, in which case he'll tell I guess.

The large man had first began getting excited on the pink haired guy's... pink hair. Honestly, it was super cool and pretty unusual. He certainly sounded amazed. He then turned his attention to him. Rikuo grinned at the man. Looks like he already found a kindred spirit this time - a nice change of pace from Yoshiba who was rather serious. Not that he was saying that meeting Yoshiba was a bad thing. Knowing that there were so many types of people in this classroom made everything more interesting. He had to talk with everyone in class at some point. "It does, actually. Hope that doesn't happen again though. Speaking from experience, teachers don't like it when students run late." He replied and then followed it with a chuckle. While it had been rare, teachers were usually getting angry at him. He did try sneaking in multiple times, so perhaps that was the reason they got angry at him.

Before he could introduce himself, a light brown haired girl entered the room and sat down at the opposite side of himself. Rikuo seemed to turn his interest to her as she seemed to look unsure on where she placed herself and was looking at their general direction. This led to Rikuo observing her further. She stood up and then sat down beside him. He looked back at Alekos and then said, "Oh right, the name's Rikuo Watanamiya. Nice to meet you all." He thought that introducing himself to all three people present would be the best course of action. He then leaned back as he began to listen to the two converse.

The girl doesn't seem to be too good with Japanese, since she looked like she was having trouble with speaking. Whoa, he didn't think that he would have a foreigner - oh wait. Robin was one as well right? Except he was pretty much well-versed in Japanese. She seemed to think that Al wasn't a first year - despite him being here. Honestly, though, he didn't think that the school would actually make a mistake like that. Though maybe in her home country, it might have happened at least once for her to assume that it might be a thing. But then he became lost as the girl started to speak in English. As much as he loathed to admit it, he cannot converse in English. He could understand bits of pieces - but never entire conversations.

So, he continued to listen but then looked around. There was the green haired girl that sat just a little bit away so he couldn't actively talk with her since she was too far. Shame. It was hard to talk to the pink haired guy too, since he was pretty far too and he would be directly disturbing Al and the girl's conversation if he tried. The teacher, Mr. Kemikaru, was still sitting on his chair - watching them fill up their own seats. There were still some bits of formula left over on the board and he tried to make something out of it by tapping into his knowledge of Chemistry from his previous years in a normal school, but most of it went over his head. Maybe it was because it wasn't the complete formula. He should ask Mr. Kemikaru about it later. Honestly, he wanted to know more about it. He might not be the most studious of students, but his curiosity must be sated.

Rikuo looked back at the pair beside him when he heard the girl mention that her name was Noah. Huh, that was good to know even if he was just kind of eavesdropping. Thinking back to the event earlier where the headmistress called up all their names, he fished out Noah's name. Noah Acosta... Noah huh? Sounded like a guy's name but maybe he was mistaken. Anyhow, since she introduced herself with her first name, he assumed that she was fine with being called by her first name. He wondered when class would start.
