"Ground pounder?" he echoed in a whisper, but she kept talking. He decided to keep listening, and nodded as he did so. The girl was cute, especially because of how talkative and ecstatic she seemed. Other than the explosion in the pool yesterday, he had no idea what she was like. Seemed she was a faced paced kinda gal.
"I'm willing to try most anything." he said casually. "I can't run that fast, granted. I can..." He knelt down, grabbed her ankles, and placed her feet on one of his hands. He lifted her up above his head nonchalantly, balancing her entire body on one outstretched palm. "lift things. And I can dodge most anything. My strength is in my legs too, so I can run faster than the normal person, and jump much higher. But I'm no flash, if you catch my drift."
He set her back down, and smiled invitingly. "But if you got something to help me go faster, sign me up." @RumikoOhara
This was odd. He hadn't realized he'd been shanghaied into service here. Though if he was honest with himself, it was the least he could do. After all, he'd eaten free food all night and had a place to stay now where there was no rent. If he had to wear a jumpsuit now and again and do what he did on a daily basis anyway, why not join for awhile? Might be fun. He stood casually, looking back and forth between members with a curious glint in his dark eyes. The pretty girl Tia had been talking for awhile, and he had no arguments with that she declared. He'd wanted to go out and explore the city with Brian, but Jess seemed cool. She was the pretty girl with the sarong earlier, if he remembered right. He saw her across from him, sizing him up. He gave her a smile and a wink. "How are you today?" he asked her, friendly. Behind Jess, he saw Tia go. He was kinda bummed at that. He'd enjoyed messing with her earlier, and she was just a cool girl anyway. Wicked walk into the room right after Tia had left. His mind went to other places as he watched her walk into the room, but he shook himself out of his musing and glanced back at Jess, waiting for her answer with an easy smile.
