Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Ok I'mma do this by request.
Who here wants a master swordsman? My approved character needs a new allegiance.

So I'm toying with the idea of a Forgotten Realms RP. Not sure if it should be pre or post spellplague/time of troubles. Honestly a lot of things are up to question because I don't have a clear idea of what I wish to do yet. But I've read about 35 Forgotten Realms books 3 times over and am fairly familiar with the lore, so I think I can do a fine job GMing.

I do know that the character sheets will have stats, but there won't be dice rolls. It'll be narrative based. The stats are just for general common sense.

So, any interested?
Well that's good news for me. Usually I'm busy Wednesday nights but I think I'll take some time to update the HRF tonight and put them in the character tab (when you tell me to, of course).
@HellisI had a lot of trouble bringing Dax into it as well about 3-4 months back. I think me and @gcold PMed for like...20 messages of us making sure everything was right before I posted. I suggest you ask him about a solo mission that would bring recognition to Ashav's eyes. Maybe a contract he set himself to see who's worth joining. I'll probably need to do the same thing once I want to add my new character later.

Well, that works for me. Hope the move went well! Escaping home is the best feeling. I might have overdone it, myself; my family is 3500 kilometers East.

And I thought I went overboard moving 4 hours away.

@GraviloquenceWelcome!

@HankHAI HANK!
Of course, it took very little time for the good people of Caldavail to take note of the Elf riding upon the back of a great Red Elk trotting through its streets. A few of them men eyed him with distaste and open suspicion, while many of the women hushed their children and drew them to their skirts for protection and reassurance. He wasn't imposing, and though he was well armed, it was not his weapons that drew such ire either.

With his keen ears he could hear whispers from the townsfolk of them suggesting he was a representative of Fey creatures from the forest to the south. True, there were some Elves who took it upon themselves to focus their lives on a dark pursuit of power, but civilized Elves did not do such a thing. It seems these people did not know the difference.

He hopped off Brogach to enter the tavern, but was subsequently halted by the town guards. A burly armsman eyed him and looked him up and down. "Whats your business in town?" he asked him. Calanon paused, and looked up to him. "I was invited here, sir. I mean no trouble." The guard raised an eyebrow. A few of the townsfolk watched the exchanged. "Oh aye? Well now who invited you?"

"I did." Salven said, approaching Calanon and shooing away the guard with a few choice words. "So, you're here for Mr. and Mrs. Carish I presume? You fit the description of who they called."

"Yes, I am."

"Right this way. And bring your mount. He's liable to be butchered if you leave him out here." the man said, putting an arm around Calanon.

Calanon called for Brogach to follow, and they made their way to the meeting area.
@Siaya DragalornThose Orcs must think that forest is very haunted now
Calanon (& Brogach)

Location:The Woods, The Cave entrance
Interacting with: Gretchin, People around the fire

Calanon similarly scanned the brush for any signs of danger, but thankfully he had seen none. His Elven eyes seeing things with great clarity and definition, but still there was nothing save the occasional animal that scuttered off into the woods. Brogach bounded and bounced, and Calanon was going to make sure to keep a hand on Gretchin's shoulder to keep her from falling off if she had not already shown that she had no problems on the ride toward the river. It took balance to match the Elves to stay atop Brogach at high speed.

He had enjoyed moving fast in the forest, and wished he could stay out longer and live the life of the Ranger that he was. But it was important to stay grouped up at Camp, and his new friends needed water. He'd survived before off water laden in leaves and branches, even in bark. But even he wasn't particularly eager to leap back into that memory of a hard excursion into Orcish territory. Funny that he was riding back into something similar.

His keen Elven ears perked up at the voices that were now close, and just as Kyra had explained the situation they found themselves trotting out of the treeline. He considered Kyra's words, unsure of how he felt about that announcement at the moment. He decided to keep his mouth shut as he pondered it. He hopped off Brogach, giving Gretchin his hand and helping her down before he distributed the water skins. The young Ranger found some food for himself, and sat down by the fire to eat and listen.
"Sir, the rocks!" Gillette said, halting Commdore Norrington. The man had nearly jumped off and attempted to save her himself. "It's a miracle she missed them!" Despite his heroic tendencies, Norrington had to adhere to the logic of his right hand. He couldn't right save her if they were both dead. "To the docks! Now!" he cried, sprinting off with the men scrambling to catch up. Governor Swann and Elizabeth were bewildered, and began asking questions as to the whereabouts of Abigail and where exactly the men were going. When they found out, they promptly followed.

Abigail's world was dark and cold, until she felt the immense pressure from her chest suddenly cease. Water splurted out of her throat, and she gasped for air, hacking and coughing. The young girl had felt death's cold embrace until she had been relieved of the corset, and she looked up to see her Savior's face just before the soldiers had stepped onto the docks.
