  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

I will like the collabs to be done by next weekend.
So, essentially we are doing this in two parts.

1) The character's acceptance of the proposal
2) They will be driven by cab to their respective residences and will have their thoughts shared on this glorious expedition, and are expected to be up at the mansion first thing the next morning.
Alcander couldn't help but smile as Elle spoke. Mostly because he quite enjoyed her presence and felt her playing devil's advocate was so like her, though it had a charm to him that he couldn't help but beam at. "Elle, this skull might be ten thousand years old, you're right. But you know as well as I do, this fossil has no signs its been in rock. Which means that cannot possibly be from sisxty five million years ago. If this fossil is five hundred thousand years old," he said. "Then it changes everything we thought we knew about the extinction of the dinosaurs. It gives credence to his story."

Though Alcander spoke thusly, he still seemed quite overwhelmed. He blinked and gazed inwardly, placing a hand on his thick head of hair and falling into his seat roughly. "By God, what am I saying?" He breathed, as if he couldn't believe of how sure he felt not moments before. He was right. No matter the exact dating, if the skull was real, and with his professional opinion he was inclined to believe it was, it would fundamentally change the way humanity viewed not only religion, but archaeology and anthropology.

"I see you will be accompanying my young ward Alcander here then, eh?" The Baron asked the crowd, after quickly glancing at Lucian and Elle at having spoken up, his gaze fell on Lysandra, as if he knew she had reservations from the start. That she merely represented interests. He glanced Lakshmi's way though, giving her a wink, for he had a feeling she was cautious, but too curious not to accept his proposal. The pay was quite considered as they all knew, as well.

The tension in the room drained when their newcomer entered, floundering at the door. The Baron turned her way imperiously, though posh as he was, he couldn't help but give a concerned look at Miss Montgomery. "My dear, if Bertram had not just announced you, I would have thought you had stumbled into the wrong manor. We were just discussing the very unraveling of our understanding of human history. Would you like some tea?"
Aaaand now it's in my head.
Well stuff piled on me, but I'll give a post to move us along saturday night!
Neil plopped down beside Sayeeda, happy she wasn't dwelling on Aiden or the life they had just torn to shreds. He gave a groan and lifted his legs up, placing his booted feet propped upon the table. Junebug poured him a glass, and slid it to him. He caught it with his offhand, and tossed it into his other hand before taking a long sip. "Well, I was going to say I didn't get lucky but..." He indicated his glass toward the Aestimobum, giving a wink.

Taya was nowhere to be found as of yet. After the harrowing experience of having to hack a planetary satellite and and being locked inside of an AI controlled Highlander, and this after being told to vacate a planet or face imprisonment...that'll make a young woman sleepy he had to imagine. Speaking of which, Neil downed the glass and decided to let Junebug know just what they did to bust her out, not really leaving out any details.

"They probably would have picked me up on the scanners if Taya hadn't ripped those apart." He finished, catching the bottle Junebug tossed to him and pouring himself a bit more. "The rest was us making our way out. Sad for Ranald, I never really minded him. Seemed like a tough old geezer." Neil smiled to himself, remembering one of the older mechanics back on Fortus that had helped him start out as an engineer before he joined the Ordo Sanctus.

"And Aiden?" Junebug asked casually, just lounging and enjoying the relaxation.

"Little bitch if you ask me." Which gave his Captain a chuckle. Neil continued. "I never really liked people in authority," he said, then held his hand up, grinning. "You don't count, no worries."

They were out of realspace? Tiberius did not know what to make of this. He supposed it meant his duty as a mortal servant of the Emperor was coming to and end. Being lost in the warp meant they would soon be devoured by daemons. However, he would fight gloriously and die with their bodies at his feet. He took a breath, breathing in the sacred air of the Astartes vessel, and then opened his eyes, placing his fist upon his chest.

"My duty is my fate. My service, eternal."

Once dismissed, Tiberius would give the customary Black Templar salute and march off to his living quarters, donning his power sword and blessed bolter, hoping he could honor their previous owners by spilling the blood of mutants and traitors this day. Along the way back, he stopped at the barracks of the Cruiser, calling the Initiates to gear up and reciting the litany of the Black Templars. As they gathered themselves, he raised his fist in the air.

"No pity, no remorse, no fear!" He incanted.

"No pity, no remorse, no fear!" The roared back. In the time it would take an Imperial Guardsmen to sneeze, the Astartes of the fabled Black Templar's chapter were arrayed in full combat gear and within formation, vigilant and as still as the baroque statued designs that covered their Cruiser, and their legendary Fortress Monastery.

In an ordered fashion, he let them through the grim corridors of the Battle Cruiser to their designated Assault Rams, filling the fore of the contraptions to the brim. As the Cruiser struggled during the ensuring fire fight, Tiberius could only pray the machine-spirit would hold on but a bit longer.

"You carry the Emperor's will as your torch, with it destroy the shadows!" Tiberius called before all was fire and blood.
Cyrdic lay motionless for a few moments, having taken the worst of the fall when the group had leaped through the crack within the surface above. But he was stubborn and made of sterner stuff than most. He opened his eyes slowly, and gave a groan as he propped himself up on his elbows. The cavern was dark, but he'd found his eyesight had gathered light far easier than it used to, and he guessed it was because of his sword. But still, he would have had no visibility until Skaldi lit the oil lamp.

Camilla's beautiful face filled his vision, and despite the tumble he found he didn't mind at all. "I'm fine," he said, and reached forward to cup her cheek. He sat up, and used his other hand to do the same, pulling her forward and resting his forehead against hers, giving a grin and seeing she shared it with him. "Let's get the hell back to civilization, yeah?" He breathed, and kissed her thoroughly, tasting dust but not caring in the least. "We need a vacation."

They got to their feet, and the Ostland mercenary wiped some debris out of his hair and ruined coat. It did little good, because the Dragon Ogre above still was not bored with trying to make a hole to follow them, causing small rocks and dust to continue raining down on them. "Skaldi. Can you find a way for us?" He asked, blunt and to the point as always. The Dwarf nodded. He'd heard Dwarfs had uncanny abilities of direction underground, but he wanted to make certain.

"Ye bet yer ass, manling. Let's get going."

The Dwarf started straight away into the cavern system, which Cyrdic believed had to be a good thing if he moved without hesitation. Dietrichia was less sure of herself, or she seemed as such. She stayed quiet, gazing inwardly and fretting over her hair far more than one should when she wasn't. She glanced Cyrdic's way once or twice, but mostly simply looked at the ground. The ground often times bucked, rising and falling like jagged waves in the rock. Yantz stayed beside his mistress, just as Konrad the Greatsword stuck by his previous commanding officer, Cyrdic.

"I'll be reprimanded." He said to himself as they moved, finally having time to think now that they were not actively being attacked from denizens of Chaos. "If I am lucky, that is. The Count doesn't look on desertion mildly." Ivan spoke Kislevite to Boris in hushed tones, though he stuck close to Camilla, and to a lesser degree Cyrdic. The Ostlander wasn't good at comforting people, but without looking back, he spoke up.

"You're a good man Konrad." He said. "We could always use another sword."

"Sell my sword?" Konrad asked, a tad incredulous. He was going to ask further questions until Skaldi held up a hand and shushed the party. Cyrdic nearly bumped into Ivan's broad back, the Kislevite so huge he probably would not have budged from Cyrdic's considerable weight in muscle. Dietrichia hissed, her leg scraping over a stalagmite and she cursed. Yantz made a quip that only Cyrdic's ears picked up, about how she couldn't see that one coming. Skaldi ignored the group, and placed his ear to the tunnel.

"...running water," he breathed.

Metro, definitely. Hopefully Fallout 76 is good.

God, they need to stop making Assassin's Creeds.
Neil was checking the back corridor as the Highlander exploded onto the scene, sending the aircar tumbling down nearly a kilometer to the ground to wreck a perfectly good roof of the lower compound. Fortunately, it meant that they had a ticket out of here. He took one last glance down the hall, and then closed the doors, locking them from the inside and then shooting the control panel, causing the stunning woman to squeal in fear.

That was when Junebug called out her idea.

Neil pointed at her. "You see, this is why you're the Captain." He yelled with a wide grin. The room they were in was extravagant and large, and with a quick glance he could tell it was often used by the royal occupants. There had to be something here for them to take. Especially since their money might not have been wired yet. He wasn't about to leave without getting something from this whole venture other than some infamy and a few stories.

He took a few moments to toss aside some chairs in the room. Sayeeda kicked down an ornate table that was likely an heirloom, and Neil kicked aside the kindling to find nothing but some old memorabilia from the family history, medals and such. They could check under the Queen sized bed or rip apart the canopy. Maybe they cou-

His eyes turned to the beauty that cowered on the couch, and he raised his gun at her. She squeaked, eyes wide. "Don't worry!" He said to her. "We won't hurt you. Just tell us where the valuables are and we'll let you live!" Neil had every intention of letting such a good looking woman live, but he wasn't about scaring her to get some valuables. It seemed getting shot the day previous and being held at gunpoint made whatever willpower she might have had deteriorate.

"Under the bed!" She screamed and ducked her head into her lush bosom, covering her extravagant gun with her hands. Neil left her to it, vaulting over the couch and making it over to the bed.

"Come in. Where are you two?" Taya asked over the comm.

"Hold on. We'll be there in a second." Sayeeda told her, and then gripped the bed frame. "On three." Neil gave a nod. "One, two, three." The furniture was moved across the room just far enough to reveal a hidden compartment under the bed. "Oh-ho-ho what have we here?" Neil murmured to himself. Sayeeda waved him back, and he leaped aside just as she vaporized the lock with her plasma pistol, the frighteningly hot greenish bolt causing the steel to sizzle.

Neil kicked the top of the compartment, and it swung open. Immediately, there was a glow. A ray of sparkling light emanated out of the small compartment. It took Neil a moment to realize the mineral that glowed a golden light was Aestimobium, a solid substance of ineffable quality that glowed like a thousand stars. Neil's jaw dropped, taken aback by the rare element. It was the rarest form of wealth in the galaxy. It was only one brick, but it was easily worth over ten times the amount of reward money they would have wired to them. Not to mention, it would put a bounty on their heads that would nearly match it once the recently superbious Aiden found out it was gone.

Neil picked it up, and tossed one of the sheets over it to keep the light from distracting them. Junebug and Neil shared smiles, and Junebug ordered the Highlander bay door to open. As Lonney would not doubt say, they had no time to lollygag. Within moments, they were on the Highlander and set to shoot off. Neil let Sayeeda handle the mineral while he sat down on the cockpit chair, turning on the planetary thrusters and placing all auxiliary power to the boost.

"Welcome back Cptn!. And you as well, Furst officah'!"

"Good to be back," Neil breathed, and punched it. The atmosphere, and the planet of Dar'Mond itself shrunk behind them as they entered outer space proper, and soon Neil had them outside of the range of any of the Dar'Mond planetary scanners. Two hours later, they entered the R.I.P. once more, and Neil took the time to relax. He stood up and stripped the finery off, taking the flak jacket off of his torso and tossing it to the side. He rolled up his vest and armor, and donned the white undershirt now scuffed from the whole debacle planet side. He went out into the corridor and into the 'mess hall,' expecting to find Junebug or Taya.
