I never notice someone's post count until I see (ignore post count) and then I totally look at it, out of habit and curiosity.

  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Cleo remained quiet and unreadable behind his helm as the Hutt explained his plan. He obviously hadn't seen Leyla's look to quell the Hutt, and good thing or else it might have distracted him (or worse, made him think she might betray him to Bogga for a pricec if the hutt gave her better prospects). As it stood, Cleo raised his head as Bogga's last pronouncement, unable to keep him from going "what?" at the crimelord.

"Bogga...our contract was for me to bring you this shipment, and to grab any other shipment you deemed necessary." He explained, speaking slow so as to not start any misunderstanding. A Hutt never liked being denied. He had to quell the urge to look around to make sure there were still four exits to the room. "I never signed up to hit any Casino ships, nor am I prepared to do so. You have your shipment. Hand me and my partner our money, and we'll walk."

"No, you did not sign up for it, but it will be worth your while." Bogga rumbled, the translation droid reiterating every word of his aloud for Leyla's sake. "As it stands, I need a freelancer to do this. Jabba knows all of my immediate underlings and their ships, but you work sparingly enough to go under his radar. Do this for me, and you'll receive ten times the payment you received for today's shipment, and I will owe you a Hutt's favor."

Cleo weighed his options, his initial reaction still a no but the prospect of such an insane payment seducing him every few moments. So as to humor him, Cleo asked. "And what would I be retrieving?"

Bogga laughed, waving his bulbous limps about when he said. "There is a chip in the ship's vault that controls all of Jabba's banking codes. One of his higher ups defected to me and leaked the whereabouts of this priceless item. You're to bring it to me, and you will receive your prize. Is this acceptable, Captain?"

The words froze on the Iridonian's lips. He knew this was suicide, or close to it. He looked over his shoulder at Leyla to gauge her reaction.

Questing Knights were single combatants and battlefield soldiers; shock troops. He didn't deny that aspect of his service, and that commanding vast (or small, in this case) armies were usually above his paygrade, for lack of a better term. However, Knights were given schooling in tactics and strategy, and since the Duke was not stepping up, he needed to remember his old lessons on how to defend a city.

"What outfit are you with?" Orion asked, still gazing ahead.

"I'm first Sergeant Burnside of Righteous Company. You also have Rapture Company and Resplendent Company at your service." The grizzled veteran barked. Orion could tell with but a glance that this was a good man. "We couldn't get a hold of our Lieutenants, so we're lacking our usual organization, sir."

The towering spires above them began to grow shorter and shorter as they neared the outer defenses that led into the serf-worked farmland. The last of the sun's rays kissed the fields in an almost blood-like color. A sign from the Pancreator, Orion realized grimly. To the south, he saw the inner walls of the Temple district where most of the peasantry would be, if the Duke's man Engel was to be believed.

"You won't need it. You'll be following me." The Knight assured him. It was imperative he seemed to be absolutely certain of his goal, even if the plan was still formulating in his head. "Spread the word, Sergeant Burnside. Once we make it to the outer city, run north away from the southern river and place every man capable of firing ranged arms larger than sidearms atop the lower buildings and shops. Send every man with a sword, axe, or shotgun and pistol below in their platoons, wedge formations. I'll meet you there."

The two grasped arms, and Burnside gave a grunt and fell back to the others. Orion turned to Annika and offered his hand. "Sister," He said as she took it. He hauled her up. "I know you won't stay behind, but I need you to do something very important for me." He told her, standing very close to her. "I need you to get every vehicle that are not fitted with turrets to the north, and swing left to flank the Vuldroks." He knew there was no singular vehicle commander, but he needed them to follow this command, either through her witchery or her own command. "We need to drive them into the river. Can you do that?"

To say that Neil was enjoying her response was an understatement. Truth be told he felt as if he had woken up in a nightmare earlier, but now he was a-ok at being hit on the head by that bastard lizard if this was what it led to. Despite the huge contrast between Junebug and Indra, with Indra all-too perfect form and genetically engineered looks, he never felt more at home around Junebug, not to mention he found her hot as fuck.

Her hips pressing to him woke him up in more than one way and it caused him to give an audible intake of breath before she kissed him. It made him lose the strength in his arms that had barely held him up and his head hit the pillow as she gripped his shirt and pulled back to speak.

"We can do whatever you want," He replied, enthralled by her touch and shifting beneath her. Gods it was just like her to get him in this position when he had no real strength to speak of. Damn her! This was one of the many reason he was endeared to her. She drove him crazy in the best way. His hands grabbed her legs and pulled her into him more firmly, and he grinned as devilishly as he could through the fatigue. "With your permission Captain, I'd very much like to be your boyfriend."

He tried to sit up again to better get at her, but she rode his lower waist expertly to keep him from gaining any advantage. It was frustrating, and yet, he wasn't going to complain.

Friendly reminder that this is about as far as you guys can go without taking it to DM's. Unless I missed something and your characters were still clothed. Thanks!
"The Duke's representative?" some voices murmured among the engineer staff, as lowly serfs that had been ushering equipment had halted to watch as Orion, Ragnar, and Annika enter the bay area. The short man that had been decked by Ragnar groaned, but didn't rise. Orion took this moment to plant his boot on the fellow's back.

"I am Orion Pentecost," He said aloud. He never enjoyed lying, so he didn't necessarily say he was the Duke's representative, but speaking next certainly led people to think it. "I am here to lead the Duke's Men into the defense of this fair city. I need all hands that are not busy on strict orders with the Duke to saddle up on their transport vehicles and come with me. We'll show these Vuldrok bastards what Imperial Men are made of."

Minutes later, the bay area thrummed and roared with vehicles starting, from combat-tracks to equipment transports to even motorized bikes. Sister Annika had taken the time to count them, being of a meticulous mind and informed Orion they had sixty armed men and slightly over forty engineers and mechanics, along with fifty serfs to accompany them.

Ragnar had elected to take his own motorized bike, grinning almost maliciously as he placed the helmet on his head. Orion had been somewhat opposed to it, giving him so much freedom. However he followed Sister Annika's advise and didn't protest.

The metallic hull of the hovercraft groaned as Orion stepped atop it at the head of the small fleet they had commandeered. With all of his heart, he prayed that they could arrive in time to halt the Vuldrok advance, and that these men he was misleading were not mistreated on his behalf by the Duke, if they even survived that was. At his signal, and once Sister Annika was strapped in the hovercraft, Orion raised his sword and let out a call to battle.

The vehicle lifted off the ground and leveled effortlessly, allowing Orion to remain in his standing position with only the small platform handle below him to steady his stance. The guards at the gate didn't halt them once they started to move.

Who would think they were not under the Duke's orders?

Neil felt vaguely uncomfortable as he was being revitalized in the enclosed chamber. Certainly it was needed, and he felt "better" in a certain sense every moment. But it still felt odd being pumped full of Gods know what while his blood was being reoxygenated after being out cold for...days? Weeks? If he had been out for any longer than two months he would throw a temper tantrum like he was 12. Not only that, but he was surprised he didn't need to pee badly. If they put a tube in there...

"I hope the funeral was lovely," He said, dripping with sarcasm. Junebug likely could hear it in his voice but she answered anyway with a "It had all the trappings of a state funeral. In a way I'm jealous."

There was a hiss of air as the automated needles in his arms and body slid out of him and were 'sheathed', and the glass case lifted up to allow him to rise out of the position. As soon as he attempted to, he nearly fell straight onto the floor. Junebug caught him in her impressively toned arms. "Whoa, there. You need to slow down." She said.

"You slow down!" He retorted, but it came out tired and almost drunkenly. "You jus-...you could have warned me about the whole...dying thing." His breathing sounded labored, and she picked him up and carried him through the hall. Taya popped out of one of the rooms with a broad smile on her face. "Neil! Are you ok? How do you- oh!" She tried to whisper the last part, thinking him asleep. She slipped back into her quarters.

Junebug carried him into the next room which was the Captain's quarters, placing him on her bed carefully. It was larger than his own, and his room was far more cramped. Neil tried to sit up again, and this time he managed to stay up on his elbows at least. "Neil if you knew, it wouldn't have worked." She said, sitting next to him.

"I guess I should feel good knowing I'm out of the marriage..." He admitted, clearing his throat. Before he knew it she had a glass of water she was pouring down his throat, letting him up for air only when it was fully consumed. He hacked and coughed, but the cotton mouth was going away at least. "Thanks." He said, and continued his previous thought. "and I'd rather be taking out by my...girl...friend?" He blinked, trying to wrap his head around it. "Wait...are you my girlfriend?

I think good general questions would be

What in your opinion are the mods doing right
What in your opinion are the mods doing wrong
How in your opinion can those things be fixed

And some scenario based questions, based on actual or hypothetical problems the mods have faced before or are likely to face in the future.

What can we do to improve transparency
What can we do to improve the three key aspects of Fairness, Firmness, and Consistency

These are questions for prospective mods, not current mods. Transparency has, is, and will be brought up again, but this is solely on how new mods would handle certain situations rather than overarching opinionated questions on current staff.
Actually, don't answer that
