@Tesserach With Leofric, we were wondering why he was recruited as a six year old? It's also from a country quite a long way from where the order is doing its thing. Was it you were intending he went to work as a page for an Order Knight? I'm guessing it's that... but just wanted to clarify!
Other than that the app is fine.

@PrinceAlexus App looks fine, and I trust you as a writer but it would be nice to chuck in a bit more backstory if you can think of some? It would be cool to hear a bit more about the Scalefolk, how their lives are and some significant events in Vash's life.

@Nach looks grand overall. If you want to add something about why they're here in Eohamingas, rather than in the North, that would be cool.

@Pragia12 Looks fine I guess - I'll accept it :P

I can expand it sure

Reenneesuash (Ren to humans) daughter of veanamdarr

“Bugs.. Frak…This Is Ren. Cargo bay… whatever the hell, incoming Metacar. We have barricades but the ramp is not closed yet. Whatever your bloody planning with cutting the power, bloody well do it.” Ren put across the ships main comms channel and watched as those remained ran to find whatever they could get in the weapons locked available, even if it was a flame thrower for bio cider or something. Anything was better than nothing. There were also several native swear words, insults and a loud clunk as she looked around picking up a metal girder that made a satisfying heavy mace / bat sized to an exo suit.

Ren did not have much time to think, plan, or anything really. She had been taught some basic riot drills and other things on her former home station, those were more so they knew what would happen then ever doing them! Remembering one part she thrust the claws through a shipping container door and gripped, ripping it free and using it as an improvised shield. That shield would probably not last even then, it was just a container door more than anything particularly advanced.

One of the crew joined the net running as they began to hit controls. “Cargo gates are not fast, we need time as stations frakked up, even with a marine and an exo suit going barbarian. Even with arms lockers, things are bad.” The crewman added as they were hitting codes and the siren blares warning the cargo docks would begin to retract and doors would be locking down.

“Warning. Cargo bay closing procedure comenacing. Keep clear of the ramp.” Came over the intercom and was joined by a sound of metal shuddering and heavy metal components breaking free from friction.

“Warning, station systems reporting non operational. System overriding safety protocols.” Came next as the seconds turned into days.

Bar side chats

Persephone and Adonis had their argument, disagreements and they had a hard choice to make whose of 3 sides did they throw in with, that would be a long and difficult decision and change things for all of them. It was not something to choose lightly. Her warm pale grey eyes followed her husband out before the door closed and turned back to Evelyn.

Yeah, one of those fights had got her pregnant, arguments could be fun too but this one would be a more serious discussion and their entire household rested on which side they chose.

“I better get some lunch, or at least food. Lest you have to make me.” Persephone said with a humorous tone going over to an aide table and grabbed a fresh roll of bread, putting some meat, cheese and so into a pair of rolls, it was a light meal but a meal none the less.

Persephone yawned a little and shook her head, much as doing better that mission had taken a lot out of Persephone and hardly been pleasant at all. “Its a big city, even if it feels like a village with the rumours.” She said and added. “Especially the Citadel district.” The home of the guard, the Barracks, the palace and such as some had come to call it. Gossip there ran faster than any horse could ride.

After eating her first cob, Persephone paused and looked a little better having eaten a meal and had something since breakfast. It helped with her bad sleep to at least eat properly. “Oh definitely, I did not plan to be stuck here over winter, so I do need clothes both nicer and more practical.” Persephone planned to fit herself out properly while she had the chance, who knew when supplies might be completely cut off or the settlement faced another week-long storm. “Plus, I have to show I am no hag” Persephone said with a woman slighted comment, Max had called her a Barbarian… oh, she was no Barbarian.

Persephone was very perceptive and rather skilled at reading people thanks to her trade. Her raised eye brow and change at mention of Orion. “Oh, Orion… your face was easy.” Persephone decided to be honest about that fact. “Very Busy man, rumour is he saved Sya too. Walked… Slithered her home after a few too many. Also fought a blight beast alongside my husband he took it down with others. I was a bit out of it but heard the rumours and so later. He is quite the mystery man.” Persephone said as she remembered something heard from the bath house related to the rumour mill.

Oh, she was here on invitation. That was interesting, her family was chosen to be the ones working here as the clothes makers and designers. She was more than just a pretty dress and a dream, she was from an established family. Persephone was not a snob but people were interesting, why was investing and how they came to be.

Also her Father was in the same trade and it was down a family line. Persephone could not help but file this away, too integrated into her way of thinking to just shut it down. “An honour then, invited by the Royals. I can trust your good then.” Persephone said as she eyed her second roll. Food was helping her feel sharper and more in control again. Having your mind hijacked was a bad feeling mentally and physically. “You're obviously highly recommended Evelyn, I definitely shall visit your shop. Might as well enjoy what we can.”

“So, do you have a handsome knight hiding around here? I got stuck in a snow storm with mine, and had to keep warm.” Persephone asked with a hint of mischief about her eyes, so she decided to tease the younger woman a bit. The woman needed things to do and an idle Persephone was not always a good idea for other people.

“I got stuck on the wrong side of the mountains, half frozen to death getting here, I was looking into supply corruption, if they sold them off. Well… they are having fun now. I might also be the reason indirectly for the new door here.” She added a little extra. Evelyn was polite enough to answer so she gave a little too. Technically 90% true, her more clandestine purposes were nicely hidden away from view.

Yeah, teh 170mm gun is pretty much the NorkIranian concept of the 175mm M107/M110 203mm "long-tom" for long-range counter-battery/coastal-battery spam. From US experience with the 175mm, the small-bore long-range was decidedly less-accurate and was discontinued in favor of a new-fangled spammable guided rocket artillery concept. It's biggest success was in the 1970s when the IDF used it to knock out Egypt's Theater-level Air Defense System due to its 40-50 km range.

At least, that was before it became HIMARS o'clock (the original rounds for the M270 actually had less range). And we've got one on the beach.

Using the 2S7 as an example, the Koksan's emplacement time would be in the order of 6 minutes.

Also, Serbia did a thing with some old Vietnam-era US 155mm towed artillery, they slapped it on a truckbed and rebarreled them as 203mm mortars. Basically a poor-man's short-range long-tom, it generally matches/exceeds the range of the Soviet 240mm in a package that basically re-used stuff in Serbian surplus. They also did a thing to the 9M14... turning them into a poor-man's TOW. (the 9M14's construction was already funky, as the original rocket-motor was in the midsection, they added an additional one in front of the warhead in tractor-configuration, and replaced the tail wire-guidance unit with a radio-controlled version so it could slap twice as far, twice as fast, and with twice the penetration.

It's the one on the left, "normal" 9M14s are alongside

It's a great big chonking 30kg sky-torpedo when a normal 9M14 is closer to 15 kg.

Iran's shooty-n-scooty are basic 155mm M109 and M109 derrivitives augmented with stuff like 160mm mortars kitbashed onto things. That or running-up and yeeting a tank round. There's also unguided rocket-spam but we'll assume HIMARS focused on suppressing that eldritch nightmare of friendly-fire.

To be fair, franken-tanks is kinda Iran's thing.
From left to right:
Shahram (radiological-recon lab), Hiedar-5 (minelayer), Hiedar-6 (BMP-1 turret on BTR-60), Tiam (T-55 /w a 105mm gun grafted to an M47 Pershing hull) and a pair of Zulfiqars (M48/60 Patton series with a "new" turret featuring the T-72's 125mm gun and fire control system), and a Karrar (Zulfiqar's turret on a T-72 hull)

Anyways, I'm thinking about throwing an NPC'd APC to take the right flank, but debating whether it'll be a surplus M113 Zelda, or a rebashed Norkie tenk with some Serbian ATGMs. I did consider momentarily the LVTP-7, but I figure those are better used hauling freight (follow-on infantry). I was also been regretably informed that our M60 Patton does not have any WP smoke rounds.

Gonna note Iran only received like 300 BTR-60s, so every variant kinda detracts from this number; which is why they've kitbashed BTR-50s back into the role of the BTR-60. Iran also has/had like one of the only production-plants for building/upgrading M47s overseas, meaning they can maintain M47s considerably easier than aging T-55 hulls (which'll likely end up being used as 170mm heavy-artillery [M-1978 Koksan]).

/tangental info on the M-1978 for @PrinceAlexus so they can get into an arty-duel: Due to center of balance issues, the gun needs to be shoved forwards to the middle of the hull for transit, but slid back to the rear of the hull to be in firing position after the recoil-spades have been dug-in. The amount of recoil they contend with is also hilarious.

Not a shoot and scoot platform then, more a long range seige partially/ heavy countrt battery gun.

And they cannot just turn thr gun on a "turret" mount.
The 155mm gun lowered and a cheat haze rose from the barrel as the self propelled gun completed the barrage and a gentle hiss and tink of changing metal could just about be heard under the din of the engine and the events going on around them. The barrage had been short, sharp and intense with a sudden massed bombardment of the area making a wide access lane out of the now wasteland.

“Bloody hell, they brought some big guns today.” Anakin said as he reached out to take a quiet spell to reload the 30mm as they rolled slowly though the area to where the next rally point they had to hit on the mission plan. Everything was blasted, tanks tossed like toys and the very earth blackened and she'll holes by the dozen.

Smoke rose from a tank with an acrid smell, it had been hit and he assumed it was torn apart by at least 1 direct hit from a high explosive shell, its ammo rack and fuel leaving it scattered for 50m across like a smear of blasted and burned metal already turning to rust from the flames. The King's of battle had made their roar and the bite was even harder. “Kings of Battle Ladies and Gentlemen. We have hot pockets.” Anakins voice came over the radio net as they rolled up and down a blasted area they could not tell if was a dip in landscape or a very unlucky trench. Slow, heavy and not as glamorous the heavy rocket and gun artillery had done their work well.

“Update from arty net. Combat engineers are gonna clear the path to set up a potential supply axis if needed and dig in their 240mm mortar from Dragon Company. MLRS used most on the ridge or deep fire.” maybe someone were paranoid about back up plans but establishing a clear potential line of supply if enemy resistance was more determined and sheltering the heavy less mobile and 1 round per minute virtual siege weapon was just good military sense. Just because they were winning did not mean they should be careless.

The rockets were beyond powerful but that came at a cost and they were a one shot system almost. But taking the ridge was essential to not lose momentum and get bogged down. “Copy. Targets and cords on channel Echo 5.” He said as he put the radio back to the verbal net to find out how the others might be doing across the wider front. “You all are good. Sounds off.”

“Sleeping on the job boss. Engines fine.” Nord replied with a cheeky response and danced them round to reach their spot they found an area some shelter from indirect fire.

“Good, ammo is still in the expected Anakin, they say its sand out their though..” The main gunner said as he dropped down to help Xena with checking the ready rack and getting the laser guided shell back into the storage area. “Specials minus 1 tungsten only.”

“workout unlike you lazy bitches. The main gun needs a strip down after to realign the loader arm. Can still fire. Just try to avoid super charging the gun.” Xena reported from the after where she learnt drinking some water after they moved the laser shell back into its slot.

“Copy. Dial the speed back on the gun, but keep it on auto.” He ordered and got a charity of responses from cheeky to the yes sir. But long as they did their jobs and followed orders when it mattered he let that go. They were not normal soldiers and they never let him down so far in a real fight. “Bring me some clankers my 501st.” He said more lightly but focused on the job.

“We are some of the worst clones ever made.” The Canadian said with an almost deadpan tone. “Copy. Gun speed set down. Auto.” He added more businesses like. Banter yes. But job first.

“Copy. Loader ready.” :Copy. We are in cover, it's not great but something.” came back and they halted in cover with the gun lowered down and still hot from the day's firing.

Anakin checked the 30mm optics and saw a drone flying in thankfully from the friendly side as it passed over, it sent a smoke trail of missiles at some target that had obviously been important… been the operative word. The drone was not so lucky to eat an anti air missile. "Ammo is good for now. In temporary Postion. Gun has mechanical damage, but operational. We still able to fight." He finished the status report to the rest of the team.
