I started RP before double digit age but you couldn't have gotten an admission I was under 18 under threat of death. Kids just casually admiting it online now is wild.

I haven't seen a Persona RP in a while, I'm interested. I already have a Persona character I've been dying to break out again, so I wish to have dibs on Emperor.

Gib Emperor pls

Is it time for internet bloodsports
Gotcha.
Just for flavor reasons, where in Japan is Fujihama supposed to be? Nearby cities, etc
Yeah, I'm here. Dibs on Chariot.
Amulak al Acturus (Stanislaw)

Character Sheet

Kicking back with a beer and bread was Stanislaw's idea of a great time, and Amulak enjoyed himself as he just sat back and hung out with the rest of the group. Minus Leif, who, last time he checked, was quite literally pissing outside. Motherfucker. Wouldn't be checking on the connection through Weishaupt anytime soon unless Leif actually had something to say. At this point, Amulak was half afraid he'd peek in on Leif jacking it.

Of course, their good time had to be interrupted. Only in this case, it was by some random players who thought this was a legitimate inn. Damn. Of course, this could all just be a setup. The thought had crossed Amulak's mind, just before Raime's message. But if that had been the case, why even bother walking in all friendly-like? Most gankers would just charge inside, weapons drawn.

That, and Ames couldn't exactly afford to outright murder the first prospective customers the Sweet Maid ever had. As a MMO with an actual sense of community, word would get around sooner or later about an inn run by a paranoid murderhobo, and then the venture would die before it ever began. The group couldn't afford to strike first, and Amulak responded quickly in party chat before casually waving from his seat.

"No point in leaving now. We provide security, in case Raime is right. If random guys attack, we need footage that we did not fire first shot, yes?" Amulak replied in whispers back to Ames's message before he spoke out loud.

"Welcome, pull in! There is bread in oven and beer on tap. For cheap price, of course!"

Valeriya Zhukova

Having already dropped her letter and package into the mail chute the previous night, Valeriya went about her morning routine with no small amount of cheer. It was...mostly a successful night. She'd accomplished her assignment within just a few days of arriving on the island, and she'd gotten laid to boot. Kiran was definitely aware she was a spy now, but given his reaction to it, well, Valeriya had an inkling he wasn't just a novelist and engineer, either.

So that left the day solely for her own interests. What to do...? Valeriya mused to herself as she finished getting dressed and started walking out the door...only to run straight into a bedraggled Lucretia. Well. She'd never returned last night, then, it seemed.

One explanation later, Valeriya sighed to herself as she finished helping Lucretia dry up and into a fresh set of clothes. Hell. Another random assault on a student out past curfew, eh? Once was curious. Twice meant something was going on behind the scenes on this island. Damn it. It wasn't exactly her problem, but it was definitely something to look into. This meant...damn. The Frenchwoman was probably innocent, then. And framed. Fine. It seemed she'd have to get herself involved with the Jeanne nonsense for now, depsite how much more pleasant it would be for everyone else if she was dealt with on a more permanent basis.

With a resigned sigh, Valeriya set out, looking to investigate exactly where Jeanne and her minders were today.

The walk of shame back to Valeriya's dorm didn't take too long. Sure, someone saw her coming out of Shou and Kiran's, but that was their problem, not hers. As it stood, she made it back just before curfew. As much as Valeriya would have liked to break it and try to get her mission objective off the island as soon as possible, it wasn't happening until daybreak when the island's mail and shipping center reopened. Plus, she still had a mission report to turn in along with the blueprints.

So when she returned to her lodgings, Valeriya had a quick dinner before heading up to her room. The blueprints were stashed with her things. Sure, Lucretia may not be involved, but Valeriya didn't need her asking questions as to why she had a blueprint that clearly wasn't her work on her person. With that done, she sat down to draft her report.

Dear Cousin Niko,

I have settled into my quarters at Bermuda just fine. You'll be pleased to know that I've already found that souvenir you wanted me to send back, and this letter will be attached with it.

This may come as a bit of a surprise, but I had an interesting conversation with the fellow student I bartered for it from, and he seemed quite interested in visiting our dear motherland. In the interest of politeness, should he ever do so, I trust you'd be willing to show him around? I know how you've always been interested in hosting foreigners, and I did promise him something of a tour in exchange.

With love,
Valeriya

For some reason, the trek back over the rubble that was this part of Tokyo felt like it took years. But BanchoLeomon hopped up onto the pile of decimated concrete that the others were gathering around only to watch Beezlemon, no, Dirk, nearly lose his shit again. For fuck’s sake. He wasn’t dealing with this.

“Alright, is everyone here?” BanchoLeomon grumbled, folding his arms as he somehow produced a box of cigarettes out from his coat and stuck one in his mouth. Probably was on Lucas’s person when they’d Biomerged. “We’re running out of time to sit around and wait.”

“Rodendramon is with you, right?” As BanchoLeomon pulled up, Examon cautiously took his attention away from Beelzemon and Dorugoramon. Provided nothing took a sudden turn, it seemed the worst he had to worry about was BanchoLeomon strangling Beelzemon.

BanchoLeomon jerked a finger behind him in the direction he’d came with one hand while fishing for a lighter in his coat with the other. “Idiot somehow blue-screened himself, he’s in some kind of Microsoft Sam safe mode. But he’s functional and ready to fight.”

“Yeah, that checks out.” Well, it was better than nothing, Examon supposed. If Jordan and Shrewmon could fight, they could figure out what was going on with them once this was all over. “I don’t know if Parasimon mentioned it to you or not, but Siggy’s still out for now-“

“Wait, what?” Lucas’s voice burst out of the cat man’s mouth, showing an uncharacteristic amount of concern. Or rather, it’d be more of an uncharacteristic outburst if Siggy wasn’t basically his best friend at this point besides his Digimon partner. “Shit. He’s still alive, right? Just KOed? Christ.”

“Yeah, don’t worry, I’m all but certain he’s still with us.” Examon seemed a little taken aback by the sudden display of emotion, but a moment later and he was speaking calmly again. He should have expected that, he realized. “You know what that thing did to all of us, I think it must just be affecting him worse than the rest of us. You know him, I’m sure he’ll be back soon.”

“Alright, alright, fine. Guess that’s the best we can ask for.” Lucas sighed. “Guessing Zei isn’t conscious either, huh?” If he was really saddled with just Dirk of all people for this last battle, God was real and he had the most dickish sense of humor in existence. Not even random chance was that malicious.

“She’s up, just… not quite with it.” Examon sighed. “Long story, she and Dorumon can still fight, and you’ve probably figured by now but I can still move and fight. It’s an even longer story on that one, but if Dirk and Beelzemon are somehow back with us that means that if Rodendramon is with you, unless you were lucky enough to bump into him on the way over, the only one of us still unaccounted for is UlforceVeedramon?”

“But yes, I haven’t run into Ulforce either.” BanchoLeomon took back over, puffing on his smoke. “The way I see it, we won’t have long until whatever that is up in the sky finally gets around to moving. We’re going to have to do this without him. Everyone ready?”

“I agree, but something feels really off about this.” Examon was well aware that the clock was running down on their window of opportunity to get the first shot in against Moon=Millenniummon, but try as he might, there was no shifting that uncomfortable feeling from earlier. “I don’t know about you, but when I was out there in my own mind, I saw more outcomes of this fight than I care to remember, and he was there, fighting with us, but Beelzemon was nowhere to be seen. I’m sure- as sure as I am about Siggy- that he didn’t fall when this thing first raised its ugly head out of the bay, but something’s not adding up.”

“I’ve been trying to figure that out for myself, for what it’s worth.” Parasimon had been quiet up until this point as Examon and BanchoLeomon reunited and reconvened, simply keeping a watchful eye on Beelzemon and Dorugoramon below him, and the monstrosity in the sky above them all. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think we all got hit at the same time. Dorugoramon mentioned moving in to attack Millenniummon when it first reawakened, but I went under almost the exact moment it rose up out of the water.”

“Makes sense.” BanchoLeomon grunted, offering everyone else in the vicinity a smoke, which only Beelzemon took. “We only went under when we looked up at the sky. Good thing none of you were flying over the bay at the time, or you’d probably have been drowning by now-” He paused in the middle of lighting Beelzemon’s cigarette.

“Sovereigns be damned, Ulforce was over the water, wasn’t he?”

Despite the haze of heat from the titans around him, a sudden chill seeped into the air at BanchoLeomon’s words. Examon stared at him for a moment before, with a sudden dulling of his bright yellow eyes, he snapped around to look at the waters behind them in horror.

“...” Parasimon’s reaction was a bit more muted at first, with him just staring at BanchoLeomon as Beelzemon’s mouth fell open and his cigarette tumbled to the ground below, but a moment later and- “Oh. Oh fuck. I remember now, I was more or less right here when it happened, but- he was out there over the water. He never stood a cha-”

With no further deliberation or warning, the ground around the group shook with a mighty tremor as Examon leapt forward through them and launched himself towards the waters of the bay with the powerful impact of his vast legs against the asphalt below. Avalon’s shimmering orange form flared into life as he breached the surface and formed a protective sphere around him as he dived in, sending a veritable wave of water crashing down onto the bay.

He only hoped he wasn’t too late.
Valeriya Zhukova

Kiran’s eyes widened at Valeriya’s forwardness, but certainly, there were less pleasant individuals to be accosted by than a Russian lady with lips that tasted of alcohol. The two students fell into the room a couple more steps before he found his footing. For a novelist celebrity nerd who tinkered with machinery, the Icelandic youth was well-built, the muscles of his back wonderfully solid beneath Valeriya’s grip. A moment later, they broke off, his free hand pushing against her shoulder.

“Had thought you were a more proper type,” he said. “Nazca’s forwardness inspired you?”

Though he played it cool enough, there was nevertheless a little bit of red tinging the tips of his ears.

Even through the rush of her teenage hormones, Valeriya retained enough presence of mind to notice Shou leaving them in peace. Good. It wouldn’t help much if the situation did turn violent, but it’d give her enough of a head start, at least.

“Oh, please.” She scoffed as Kiran broke the kiss off. “I was like this on the ship, too. Now,” Valeriya adjusted her grip, keeping Kiran’s pocketed hand locked as she reached for his free hand with her other arm, shoving him against the wall and leaning in close as if to kiss him again.

“This should be a good enough time to talk business.” Valeriya kept her voice low enough to not be overheard should Shou stick around. “You noticed, then. What were you going to do about it?” She smiled.

“What I’m to do now,” Kiran grinned. He stepped in, lips pressing against Valeriya’s again, before his foot tangled with her own and she found herself falling against the desk, right by the half-deconstructed tracker. “Is your interest personal or professional, Val?”

“It can’t be a bit of both?” She smiled coyly, seeming unbothered. “Our work is in largely the same field, after all. Why wouldn’t I want to get to know a competitor better?” Screw it, enough suspense. Time to see what he was hiding.

Valeriya yanked on Kiran’s wrist, aiming to pull out whatever he was grabbing on to. At this point, she was actually half-hoping it was a weapon, just so they could get on with it already.

“Shocking ambiguity for such a forward woman.” Kiran didn’t resist as Valeriya pulled his hand out of his pocket. The hand opened up to reveal an empty palm. Empty? Or was it something too small to see? “I’d be more willing to share my work if you’d simply asked, from one peer to another. But with all this…must say I’m feeling a bit greedy now.”

“If you’d wanted to sleep with me, all you had to do was ask, really. I would have penciled you in.” Valeriya smirked, hooking her other foot around Kiran’s leg before using her grip to flip him onto the nearby bed. “Still, if you’re going to be difficult, I’m obliged to be so in return.”

She raised a hand, resting it on her bosom as the other reached into her pocket. “I’m only really interested in one of your Formulization blueprints, and not your most famous work. Name your price.”

The two bounced upon the mattress once, the springs creaking at the impact. Kiran ran his hand down a strand of Valeriya’s hair. “My homeland is one of treacherous beauty and grand vistas, but what I’ve found lacking, always, is how small the land is.” A pause, his gaze drifting down to Valeriya’s own bosom, before he raised his eyes again. There was a fervent flame in his aquamarine irises, the ‘spark’ that possessed the gaze of all Polymaths.

“I’m an adventurer, not a businessman, so…Unrestricted travel through the northern regions of the Tsardom. Can you arrange that?” The flame burned greedily in the fireplace. Voracious now, an undercurrent of the primitive violence that one needed to venture into the untamed places of the world. “And, if you are what I’ve figured you to be, would it be too much to ask of you to kill that French bitch?”

Well. This was…a unique request. Her handlers wouldn’t quite be pleased that she’d been practically made already, but if this achieved the mission parameters, so be it. Besides, unrestricted didn’t mean unmonitored. The upside with letting a known foreigner into your territory was that you knew he was there, and could take measures appropriately in case he tried something. Besides, Agnarsson was a known traveler, so there was always the small chance this could just be innocuous. Still, this was something Valeriya figured she could swing by her superiors.

“I can speak to some friends within the border guard, certainly.” Valeriya smiled thinly, moving to unbutton Kiran’s shirt. “As for the Frenchwoman, I’m an engineer, not an assassin.” She lied without blinking. “As much as she annoys me too, I’m not about to do something that blatant.” Not unless she was ordered to, anyway. “Now, if you’ll hand over the blueprints, we can move on to the actual fun part.”

“And I’m sure you’re not a spy either, Miss Engineer of War.”

Kiran winked, tapping his index finger against his temple.

“I’ll draw out my designs for you after, if you don’t mind. Otherwise, the fire may burn out before we even begin.”

“I’m in the Tsar’s pocket, certainly, but not in that way.” Valeriya pouted and denied the accusation. “But, fine.” She leaned in, moving to kiss Kiran again. For the rest of the night, not much was said. Shou certainly was going to have something to talk about later.
