Not that I ever recommend anyone watch a Marvel superhero film, but Ant-Man sort of did with the tone what I would want to do with that idea; building up a "fight scene" as super epic and amazing, but really, it's two guys the size of a grain of rice fucking around on a toy train set.

Same thing. We have a "fallen god," we have a strictly stratified society (free, casual, advanced) within this glorious empire of ours, our gladiatorial arena is named the "Status Updates".........and it's all a fucking website, man, who the fuck cares?

As a parody it could be pretty cool.

In all seriousness I think the plotline should be meta as hell. It should be a plot about RpG somehow.

What if someone hacked the site, and because the Fallen God Mahz is not around to save it, this person is able to give the players an ultimatum or else he will shut the site down for good? So we have to do what he says in order to save the Guild. He wants us to beat him in an Arena fight but unfortunately, he's a godmoding and metagaming piece of shit, so we need to use our combined wits to beat him as a team.

None of that Sword Art Online "we get sucked into the game" shit tho that's hella gay

Hey guys, breaking news: mathematics is not fun. So although I'll keep my promise about getting the thread up before Saturday, you should count on it being near the very end of the week. I have some homework to catch up on and a test to study for, especially on Wednesday which is my free day from work and college.

@Hostile All right, so there are two or three little problems I need to bring up. As with the other app, I'll give you some good with the bad.

The Good

• Cool, cool history! I love the family heirloom, which as a trope can easily end up feeling contrived and silly (usually it's a centuries-old family sword in some crummy Fantasy setting).
• I'm admiring the diversity in backgrounds here so far, and yours is no different. A middle-class military family serving the Soviet utopia will stand in fascinating contrast to the career criminals and other lowlifes. I can't wait to see how he feels about the collapse of the USSR.

Improvements Needed

• No anomalies or artifacts here. This is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. without the psychic C-consciousness stuff.
• I dunno if psychopathy is "developed." Maybe it ought to just "emerge" instead? As in, it was always laying dormant inside him, and something in the Zone has dragged it out? I dunno. I'll trust you on this one.
• The one thing you still need to explain is why he has come to this zone, when surely there are others in Russia which would have been easier for him to infiltrate. Why come to Germany?

He's pretty good, mate, and pretty close to being accepted!
