4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

Ian ceased his warm-ups as he saw everyone else enter the battlefield, his position up high on the ruined tower giving him a good all around view of the battlefield. Anubis crouched low against the roof of the building, it's sensors scanning the entirety of the environment below it. It was only basic rudimentary stuff, a little better than average due to Anubis's reliability on evasive movement, but every bit of info helps, especialky when you're going against someone with much better informatiin gathering skills than you do.

Sigma thought she was so slick, making everyone think that she and Serah were helping out Elora, and he had to admit, he had boughtnit at first, not really giving it much thought. But then she tried to bring in U-U-her as well, and that's when the wheels began to start turning in his mind( after he has calmed down a little in thr bathroom from his little incident), his suspicions reinforced by the fact that the creepy doctor had specifically stated they work separately. Whether or not any of the three actually did that, he couldn't know, but it would be best to treat them as if they were working together until proven otherwise.

Focusing back on hus surroundings, he noted where everyone was, having Sigma's, Matsuda's, and her spefic locations. Korie had been in his sights, but he'd lost them in the depths of the ruins, and the rest where just general ideas with nothing concrete.

The Shroud's humming began to intensify as Anubis began to charge up, getting ready to make his move when the clearance was given. The energy of his spear also began to intensify as well, ready to deal some significant damage to somebody.

The spear armor piercing capabilties woukd be very effective against most of the Framewerks, the most troublesome being Elora's and Matsuda's, due to their heavier armors giving them better resistance to his attack. As it was, the place weakest link belonged to her, due to her apparent inexperience in using a Framewerk, something that worried Ian greatly. She'd need to learn how to use these things if she was to be able to fight the Cruxi, or else . . .she'd die.

Ian was once again reminded of his sister, his hands curling into a fist before he let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding. If possible, I'll see if I can help ger get better at it, show her the ropes. Like it or not, she's the last connection to my family I have, no matter how distant and . . . I don't know how I'd be able to face Alexandra if I told her I let her favorite Idol die.

Ian chuckled to himself, a disheartened chuckle as the emotions that Ian locked deep inside came to the fore, a brief moment of unbearable sadness that only Anubis was allowed to witness.

"All right Anubis, I say we hit Sigma first, see if there's an alliance brewing, than get out and find Korie. I can't let myself lose before them on the first run through, now can I." Anubis stayed silent, the only sound available being that of their hearts, his pumping with blood and Anubis' bursting with a vast amount of energy. Sometimes it was hard not to be slightly disappointedby how coldly his Framewerk was treating him, since he was certain there was something more to it than just hardware and circuitrt, but he'd just have to deal with it and wish for better luck next time.
Crap, got ninja'd. Ehhhh, I'll just have Grimm ignore Joesph cause I don't know howto fix it without major edits or having Grimm do something out of character.
Grimm was only partially listening to the voices addressing him, still trying to find a way to make the long line of ink. It took a few minutes of thought, in which he could be heard muttering to himself as he came up with, then reject several ways to salvage the piece, before he stuck to one and made the necessary adjustments. He wasn't happy with it, but it was a better alternative than trying to draw the whole thing over again, which would've ruined the rest of his day. Once he had finished with that he looked up to address the first person to had spoken to him, a girl with green eyes and long dark brown hair. Her soul was somewhat interesting, leaving him with a slight chill, but it didn't inspire him at all. Human souls rarely did, they were just so . . . average most of the time. What was he about to do again, oh yeah, give his response to the girl who'd made a sculpture of him out of ice.

"You seem to be heavily detached from reality, or an idiot, if you can say that while in the same room as a Reaper, a Kitsune, a Dryad, a warlock, an entity born from the energy of a dying star, and a . . .Vampire." His voice instinctively took on a accusatory tone as he identified what many of his kind considered to be an Abomination. The undead were subjects of much debate amongst Reaper circles, many of them wanting to follow their instincts and eradicate the affronts to natural order, others wishing to just leave things be. While Grimm held no personal bias, his blood urged him to stymie this corruption before it spread it's toxin elsewhere. Luckily, he was only half Reaper and the urge was much weaker, but it was still there regardless.

Returning his attention to the girl, he continued his response to her highly inaccurate and severely worrying ideal. "I doubt you're an idiot, given that you've made quite the impressive sculpture, though I do inisist that it doesn't refelect the subject's personality in the slightest, which is something I believe is most important in any artists work; an artistic difference more than anything else, but I still believe it stands. Anyway, since you clearly are suffering from a mental illness of some sort, I'd be welcome escort you to the nearest psychiatric facility, so maybe they can help you in your crippling case of denial." Except for his slip with the vampire, Grimm's tone was neither angered, nor dismissive, nor even sarcastic, he was giving his honest opinion and was genuinely worried for the girl's mental health. Clearly she must be ill to have such a strong denile of cold hard facts and reason, especially when it was staring her in the face.

After he finished talking he got up qnd walked past the girl over to the Skylark, taking the sketchbook from under his arm to show her. While still uncolored, it was obvious to tell it was a very detailed piece of work. It showed Carmen standing in front of a window, appearing as if she was singing to the sky. The room behind her subtly shifting into a blank void of space, soft tendrils of smoke leavingnher body to form a bird-like nebulae of cosmic dust and gases. The black line that had cut across the bird had been turned into the tail of a comet shooting through space in front of the cosmic avian, giving it more depth of field.

"I was wondering something, given that you are a subspecies of Siren, I assume you have a form similar to what is in the picture, so I would like to ask if I may see it. It would very much help me in deciding what colors to use, for I'm at a loss on which ones to use."

Good ideas, but how about the Demon blades Origins and distribution. Maybe they have demons sealed within them, which could translate into some form of sentience as well, though how much could be keft up to the player or you. Another angle is that they've been forged by or with the assistance of Demons, maybe even made originally ti fight demons before becoming corrupted by the demonic influence of their blood after so many years. Also, you mentioned how the blades also curse the wielder, maybe their should be some sort of cost to using ones ability, like blood, pieces of one soul, or maybe they have to perform certain actions as payment for the power, like having to kill someone before they put away the sword or something else of that nature.

For the experiments Idea, I ask how far should we take these abilities, what the limits should be, and whether we should have so they have one main ability, and everything else brancjes out from that, or they just have a bunch of different abilities to give them some variety.
Ian had taken the coffee with a nod, quirking an eyebrow at how Korie got his own bathroom . . .and the strange symbol for it. Okay, he's got a lot of special privileges, must be the kid of someone important. Funny how they tried to throw me off like that, I really don't care if theirs a boy or a girl, I got what I wanted and that's all that matter. Iam perked up when the announcement was made by Lorenzo, his heart starting to race as he made his way to the hanger, tossing his now empty coffee cup into a trashcan and stripping down to his underwear as he made his way there.

When he arrived, he saw his suit was ready for him,and wasted no time putting it on. The skintight fabric didn't bother him, and he took a moment to look at himself, having had the suit customized to better match his Framewerk. It was mainly black, with a number of red hieroglyphic symbols linung the edges to give it some style, as well a tribal motif of a Jackal printed on to the front as well.

"Looking good as always, wouldn't you say Anubis?" Ian turned to look at the framewerk, as if he expected it to respond. A few moments of silence followed before he clicked his teeth dismissively. "Whatever, man, I think I look fan-fucking-tastic."

Ian entered the cockpit, sliding into position on the seat with a excited smile on his face. He always felt at home when he was in Anubis, it was like an old friend to him. He often spent time talking to it, uncaring of how it made him look to others. Anubis was his friend, his confident, and he trusted it with his life on a regular basis, and it had never failed to deliver.

"Come on Anubis, time to show off a little, don't you think?" Ian said as he started up the generator, awakening the God of Burials with a low hum, it.s eyes flashing open in a burst of intense red light. "That's what I thought, because win or lose, we're going to show those bigwigs watching exactly what they signed up for when they let me have you. Let's do this thing!"

Ian activated the Shroud, causing the air to ripple around him as intense kinetic energies began to ciculate arpund Anubis, causing it to float slightly, the blades repositioning themselves in preparation. Ian waited u tilthe way was clear, than he blasted out of the hanger at half-speed, which was still pretty fast as he left behind a slipstream that slowly dissapated behind him. He landed with a crash on top one of the ruins, causing it to crunble slightly and sending up a low, dense cloud of dust. From this cloud, Anubis 14 rose, the rid in it's hand com8ng to life with a flash as a silver spearhead burst out from the tip, an ethereal trail following it as he did a few practice swings.

"Nothing get's your bloo pumping like a good old fashion free-for-all."
@Gnar The Missing Link Question, is the male suit as skintight as the female.
@c3p-0hThey commited the ultimate sin, they messed up one of his drawings. From Grimm's perspective, he let them off easy.
Grimm just traumatized those kids for the rest of their lives, didn't he?
Grim didn't acknowledge Criston greeting, mostly because he was too focused on his drawing. He didn't even notice the gaggle of noisy brats that seemed to be dragging in a rather annoyed Dryad, the being's soul told him anything. What he did notice was one of the little brats bumping into him, causing his oh so steady pen hand to scratch across the page, leaving a fine black line right in the middle of his work. He stared in cold silence at the ruined piece, thinking of the many hours he had spent on getting thedetails just right, only for a pack of stupid, ill-behaved brats to ruin it. To say that he was mad would be a vast understatement.

The cloak began to writhe and undulate around in a faster, more active, more sinister fashion as he set his sketchbook down, stalking over to the main group of brats, a cold chill running up their spines as they turned to face him. His face was hidden behind a grotesque a terrifying mask reminiscent of a skull in mid-decay, the exactness and accuracy of such making the children whimper in fright. When he spoke, Grimm's voice would come out both quiet and loud at the same time, distorted by the mask and his rage to sound a lot deepe and menacing than it normally did.

"If you brats value your souls, then you'll get out of my sight befoe I rip them from your putrid excuse for a carcass!" To emphasis the point, he summoned his scythe, which had taken an equally terrifying appearance as it was covered in rotted bones and the blade jutted out of the fanged maw of a monstrous skull, the dead eyes of the beast still in place and looking down at the children with contempt and hunger.

The dreadful sight and threat sent the children out of the inn screaming their bloody little heads off. After they were gone, Grimm calmed himself down, causing both his scythe, his mask, and his cloak to take on a much more plain appearance, with the skull mask becoming vastly simplified and the scythe varing only a plain Ivory shaft and a gleaming silver blade the seemed to radiate a soft, comforting glow. "If there is one thing I hate, it's people who mess up my drawings." His voice was normal now, a smooth one that eased into the ears like a whisper, sticking in the mind a second longer than normal. He then abrutly turned around without a word and walked back to his seat, taking another look at the ruined drawing to see if it could be salvaged in anyway, or if he could make the mistake work for the picture.

@Gnar The Missing Link So, what's the ETA on the mock battle, or are we waiting for the strawberry alliance to form up, cause I'm cool with allowing them to chatter for a bit, want to see what Sigma's planning.

Also, does anyone have any ideas about who there characters will vote for to become squad leader. Ian's most likely going for Sigma still.
