Was supposed to be productive tonight. . . will try to be productive in the morning
"The night is dark and full of terrors, and I will become the monster who gives them nightmares" James Lockehart 27 | October 14th | 6ft 2 | First Class
appearance.
James is a tall, lean man, with all the lithe musculature of a panther. His body is a tapestry of scars that he's gained during his time as a SOLDIER, though his most prominent one happened before his time in the program. A long deep, nasty looking gash that goes across his right eye, and while he has no idea where it came from, every time he sees it brings an unconscious clench to his jaw as a tumult of emotions run through him, bringing with then dark thoughts of death and rage, curses to an unknownshadiw of a past forgotten. His face can be seen as somewhat handsome, though the ashen color of his skin, blood red eyes(mutations caused by the introduction of Aeon cells into his body), and intimidatingly cold demeanor of his presence tend to keep most people from considering him as such.
As far as clothing goes, the closest thing he wears is the under armor for Cerburus, a black, form fitting nano-fiber weave suit that serves as added ballistics protection and shock absorption when worn in conjunction with the outter armor. If that is currently being repaired or cleaned, he tends to wear nothing, not having much care for modesty and only dressing when ordered or told to by a superior, as well as given clothes to do so, as he has none of his own, not really seeing them as needed or comfortable.
personality.
James is a cold and calculating individual, never really showing much in the ways of emotion besides annoyance when dealing with people outside of combat. Despite not knowing anything about his past, he has little to no curiosity in much of anything, never seeing the need to ask questions for anything. Instead, he simply does as he's told by the higher ups, like a loyal dog doing his master's bidding. He has little care for things like tact or morality, and will unflinchingly say whatever he feels needs to be said without filter or restraint. This, mixed with his cold, distant attitude, makes most people think of him as an asshole and thus, they give him a proper distance, which he doesn't mind in the slightest.
However, despite these characteristics, James does have a heart in that chest of his, though it only shows when one of his allies is in danger. Something about the thought of leaving anyone in his fire team behind just fills him with such a sense of dread that he couldn't possibly allow it to happen, and thus, he'll always be the first one to go back to save another teammate, even when jot goes against orders and when it would mean almost certain suicide. While he may not like everyone in his outfit, they are part of his team and he feels obligated to make sure they make it through every fight by completely exterminating any form of danger that comes their way.
This leads to how James behaves in combat, and that James is a completely different animal. Gone is the cold, demeanor of a machine, replaced instead by the mad fervor of a beaten animal, eager to rip apart everything in it's path in a savage frenzy of claws and bloodlust. While he isn't the only one to forgo weapons in favor of using his bare hands, he maybe the only one with such a savage way of doing so, as he doesn't just strike down his enemies with well-placed strikes. He rips them to shreds, his hands just as deadly as any claws as he seeks to mutilate his enemies, a walking twister of destruction, death and savagery. I f his face wasn't hidden underneath his Cerburus armor, one would see the almost maniacally, yet equal broken grin on his face as he goes about his bloody business, laughing like a mad man in the heat of the battle. Not only is his brutal way of fighting effective in a combat sense, but it's also a brilliant tactical maneuver when facing the resistance, as to them, he seem more like a rapid monster then a man, ripping their comrades to pieces with such a passionate rage that it's enough to make even the most battle harden warriors soil themselves in fear. Yet even in the what of battle, his mind is never completely lost to the madness, a small part pot his psyche forming plans and tactics on the fly, calmly and rationally deciding the where to unleash the destructive maelstrom of violence that James has become.
biography/background.
James was once the son of highly regarded scientist turned billionaire CEO, Nathaniel Lockehart. While his family wasn't the happiest, with his father tending to put in long hours, his mother hardly ever focusing on annyone but herself and her needs, and his siblings(of which he had 6) seeming to do all they could to annoy him whenever he was around, it was simple and full of distractive luxuries to take his mind way from his problems. However, such a life, free from the war and suffering of the world below, was not to last.
It began with the cries of the dying, followed soon by the demented laughter of creatures from the pit of hell as waves of monsters suddenly cascaded into the city, ripping to shreds any resistance in their way and soaking the streets with blood and gore. His father, fearing for the life of his family, was quick to collect them all and call for evac, planning to hide away in his tower until the Dalmastice forces came to save him. It was this action that would seal the fate of him and his family. While the defenses seemed enough to hold back the normal monsters, something strange began to happen, as one by one, the defenses were destroyed and the guards hunted down, clearing floor after floor in seconds the cameras were only able to catch the glimpse of a shadow every time it struck. It was only a matter of time before it made it to the top, bursting down the doors with a unholy cohort of demons behind it, hungering for flesh.
But it commanded them to halt with a single hand, this being that was much different from the others, not in looks but in how it moved and acted. It had intelligence, that was plain to see as James looked it straight in it's eyes, which were filled with malice, hatred, and sadistic glee. The monster was inhumanly tall and slender, most of it's frame hidden behind shadows that clung to it like fat, bloated leeches, their tails waving lazily in the air. Walking forward, the creature seemed intent on his father, who was begging and pleading for the monster to spare his life, only to get a sinister grin in return. Th creature made a motion to James' sister, and the monster's converged, her screams of terror and pain soon fading to pitiful sobs, and then, to nothing. The tall one would continue to do this, killing each member of the family in similarly cruel manner, all the while with that same sinister grin plastered across it's face.
Just when it was about to get to him, however, a barrage of bullets shot through the windows, causing it to hiss before it made it's way back into the darkened hallway behind it, the monsters not quick or smart enough to following getting mowed down as SOLDIERs came in from a helicopter outside. Their evac had arrived, but instead of 9 people, only two remained. Of those two, one would end his life, jumping out of the helicopter to the ground below, unable to take the images assaulting his mind. James was thus left alone to relive the horror he had seen, and would be unable to unseen for the rest of his days. But instead of breaking him, it only added fuel to an already blazing fire in the young man's heart. He wanted to find the monster who had done this to his family, who had escaped the SOLDIERs pursuit, and he wanted to pay him back for every horror he put him through. He demanded to be let into the SOLDIER, rage and a thirst for revenge clouding his mind and striking down any source of reason that wasn't in line towards his goals.
He was eventually given the green to enter the program, and after the mandatory training, he was submitted to hell. His body felt like it was being taken apart and put back together again, the paying being so intense he was certain that he'd lose himself, but through it all, he only kept one thing in mind, his one focus through all of it was his need, his desire, for vengeance. So intense were these emotions, made even more so by the cells of the Aeon in inserted into his system, that it nearly drove him in sane, and probably would have if those at Fort Lullin hadn't made the choice to completely wipe his memory of everything before his induction as a SOLDIER. He was made into a true blank slate, having no memories of his past life . . . but that didn't get rid of the emotion. He still hungered for vengeance, and he stilled felt an incomparable rage every time he saw one of the abominations created by Humanity's hubris. He has devoted himself to these wild, primal emotions, not caring if other saw him as more monster than man. Cause to hunt monsters, one must become a monster themselves.
weapon{s}.
His weapon is a suit of Cerburus Armor, an experimental performance enhancing suit that draws on the power of the Aeon cells in a SOLDIER's body. While wearing this armor, not only is his strength and agility enhanced a by a good amount, but he can harness his corruption into focused shockwaves and blasts, either to increase the impact of his attacks or to fight enemies at a range. He can also get creative with it, blasting himself into the air and using the shockwaves to give himself some added in air mobility as well, making his ability a lot more versatile than normal.
skillset.
High Offensive power, both in strength and overdrive. A skilled tracker, with enhanced senses to help him find anything in the world as long as he's able to find something to go on A stealthy combatant when it proves advantageous to him
ability.
Corruption James can generate a form of black energy that takes the form of a living darkness, cloaking him in it's shadows and striking out at any foes that come near. James can harness this energy and push it into his foes, causing them to weaken as the corruption spreads through their bodies.
aeon.
Arondight, The Aeon of the Hunt, Black and Colourless|Fear, Predatory Instinct, Savagery Arondight is a being that was born from the darkest depths of fear, his form ever shifting according to the greatest fears of those that approach him. But the shadows around him do more than just hide his shape, they seem to be alive and move independently from their hosts, mostly to strike at those that approach carelessly. All it takes it one touch, and you'll become a corpse, the energy of you life feeding into the once great being. The Aeon seems, to all who witness him, to be nothing but a corpse, but depths of the night, many who said they worked on the creature said they'd woken up to find it's form lingering over head. While these were discredited as just nightmares at first, soon, scientist seemed to be disappearing one by one, until the place ended up deserted, those who still remained leaving before they to became one of the taken.
limit/overdrive.
James' overdrive depends on the situation, and he can choose which ever affect at will. Either he focuses on the black energy in his body and greatly increase the degradation effect of his corruption for a limited amount of time, or he can focus on the colorless side of his ability and replicate another elemental power form either a monster or his teammates, temporarily changing his secondary color and also changing the effect of his corruption on a foe(or himself) depending on what is absorbed.
@Oblivion666The only thing that might have been an auto hit would be him trying to cut off the leg of construct, but I did leave it open to not working. As for the rest, he just launched some attacks, I neve said any of those hit, just that he launched them. Also, Argus has only been attacking Ike this entire time, so I'm not quite sure what you mean.
@CaitsWell, Eve magic raises people from the dead, and while mine can do that too, it's to a lesser extent in most cases and is far from the focus of Nidhogg's brand of Necromancy. Nidhogg focuses more on the manipulation of organic matter, like flesh, blood, and bone, and using them directly to combat his foes. So the main difference I can see is really the focus of the thing, Eve being much more focused on raising the dead and Nidhogg being more focused on combat. Not my best explanation, but I just woke up. Will give a better one later if need be.
@Expolar Also, here's the post with the CS so you don't have to go digging for it.
So me and Lunar have been working together somewhat on making an S-class villian character for his Dark Guild, and it's taken some time, but I think I have him good enough to be shown. Since he's an S-class, I think I may have gone a little over-board with the powers, but that's just my own opinion, and I made sure to add some more weakness to help offset the strengths. Also, for some background, the Dragon that Jackson found was a powerful dragon that was essentially immortal due to it's power being over death, and as such, could only be sealed away deep under the earth. The dragon, unable to die and unable to roam, eventually went both insane and slowly became nothing more than a big ball of power and instinct. This is what has possessed my character.
Edit: Also, Cain and Abel are to be post-pined for now, and I no longer am interested in playing Rusty anymore. I'll be sending a message to Invisible about this so that when he returns from the commonwealth, he won't post to a dead character.
Character Sheet (please delete anything in parentheses) Name: Jackson DuCarthy, but tends to go by "Nidhogg" Age: 44, but his body is stuck at 24 Birthday: N/A Magic:
Necromancy: Over the years, Nidhogg has gained a mastery of death-related spells that he can put to use to increase his combat effectiveness. His main use for this is manipulating and creating organic matter, like bones, flesh, blood, etc, to fight his foes, though he can't manipulate the organic matter of things that aren't dead. As such, when he uses this magic, he is usually creating said matter, though as long as he holds a sample of what he's trying to create as catalyst, it makes the process much more efficent. Another way he uses his necromancy is to weaken his foes with spells that inflict status effects.
Bones of the Ancients: This spell allows Nidhogg to summon and/or manipulate bone matter to use as both a weapon and a shield. He can make it as hard and durable as steel, and form a variety of piercing and blunt objects to fight his foes with. He can also form it into a form of segmented armor, if the nee for such things arises.
Sanguine Tendrils: This spell allows him to summon and/or manipulate blood to form a mass of tendrils that can move according to his will. They are vary dangerous weapons with a wide range of uses beyond just combat. Not only can they be used to grip and grab people at will, but they can also be used to form a deadly edge to a weapon by hardening them, and due to the blood almost always being tainted in nature, it has a high tendency to cause wounds to become grossly infected in the long term. They can also be fused together to increase size, strength, and durability, making them gain added use a a suitable form of quick acting defense.
Nidhogg can even uses his own blood for this magic, and has a tendency to form 4-6 tendrils from his back to fight with, often fused with segmented pieces of bone armor to increase their all-around effectiveness, giving better protection for less attack speed. The tend to be stronger than his normal tendrils, but they can't be used in conjunction with other tendrils due to the amount of focus needed to keep them stable.
Grip of Death: A spell that summons skeletal hands from the ground to grip ones foes, this is mainly used as a surprise or set-up attack, holding foes in place while also slowly draining their magical energy, the more hands gripping an target, the faster their energy gets drained. Can also be used in combat to trip someone up, though with out proper preparation time, they hands are generally not that strong.
Fangs of the Underworld: Similar to the Grip of Death, except a fanged skull, spine still attached, burst out of the ground to bite it's victim. The bite is very strong, able to crack stone, and the fangs hold a special poison in them that causes the victim to lose feeling in the affected area, making it incapable of functioning properly. This leads to complete loss of motor functions in a limb and constricted breathing if it makes contact with the torso.
Dragon Tooth Soldiers: Nidhogg, thanks to his regenerative abilities, has a infinite number of teeth, and as such, since his teeth technically count as those of a dragon, he's able to use this with much less restraint than a normal wizard. This spell allows him to raise any corpse he comes across and mutate it into a undead dragoninc warrior that does his being. These ghouls are strong and agile, only capable of dying once their brains have been utterly destroyed. If one just separates the head from the body, it only causes them to have to worry about the head as the headless torso chases after them. This can be fairly taxing, however, so he at most can only summon about 4-5 warriors at any time if he still wants to fight effectively. He shares a telepathic link these monsters, so he can issues orders to them instantneously.
Fetid Rebirth: A stronger, but much more taxing form of the previous spell, Nidhogg prepares a body with a special ritual before he initiates the spell, and instead f an unthinking monster, he creates an intelligent being that is completely bind and loyal to him, but capable of making it's own judgement and decisions. While he can have as many of these as he wants, he saves them for the times where he defeats a particularly impressive foe. These "Reborn" can do anything that they could in life, plus gaining an immunity to pain, becoming basically immortal unless some shoots them in the head, and having the ability to slowly regenerate themselves over time by absorbing the Ethernano in the air. He currently has an unknowable number of them(this could start as zero or I could whip up a few CS for about 2 or 3 that could double as added(or former) members of Shadow Heart, if Lunar is okay with that and you're okay with this
Crawling Horror: THis spell allows him to manipulate and/or summon the flesh, tissue, and muscles of a dead being and use it to form horrifying minions to do his bidding. They are relatively weak and easy to maintain, mainly serving as cannon fodder in battles to keep his opponent busy while he iether sets up an attack or has something more important to do. Another use for this magic is that he create adaptations to his body by molding the flesh into certain constructs, such as a biological gas masks to avoid poison, or replacing a lost limb with a reinforced replica. Any replicas made with this magic without proper preparation will always be weaker than the original, and if he uses his full strength in an attack, the limb will give out afterwards.
Devourer: Nidhogg can regain magical energy and gains a strong healing factor by eating flesh, the more rotted and aged, the better. He gets the most energy from the flesh of a corpse, preferably human, as well as the longest duration for his regenerative buff. The buff is strong enough so that he can heal from most serious wounds within hours, and moderate wounds within an hour, and light wounds with a few minutes, though he'll need to eat a certain amount of flesh to put it into affect, of course. While he can consume dead matter that has been manipulated by his necromancy, if he created said material, than he doesn't get the buff, though a small portion of the magic used to create the matter can be re-absorbed through this method.
Dragonic Flesh: As a result of consuming such great amounts of the Nidhogg's undead flesh, his own body can adopt draconic attributes, and he can even become a large, dragon-like creature himself, at the cost of a great amount of energy. He can also use this partially in a form similar to Take Over magic, which provides a more focused increase to a particular limb. Along with this, while in these forms, he can infuse his attacks with a necrotic energy that eats away at the bodies of living beings, making him very dangerous to face in close combat.
Speed: This form barely changes his physical appearance, only giving him scale-like markings on his face and fore-arms, turning his nails to claws, a tail and a large pair of black wings. This form improves his speed, reflexes, and maneuverabilty, as well as imparting this bonus on to his attacks with his tendrils, giving him an impressive attack speed.
Defense: This form goes for a more defenses strategy, covering his body in thick scales, as well as morphing his body into a more monstrous form. Not only is this form physically stronger, sturdier and more durable, but it also has a portion of a dragon's Magical resistance, making it so that all forms of magic(baring that of dragon slayer's) is less effective against him by a factor of 25-30% while in this form.
Assault: While in this form, he gains an larger increase in strength, a slight amount of magical resistance(like 10-15%) and increased durability , and an increase to his magical power and stamina as well. He also exudes an aura about him of inspires a sense of fear and awe in those around him, which can even be crippling an over-bearing if the affected person is sufficiently weaker than him.
True Form: This is his ultimate last resort ability, as using it will severely drain him of magical energy, leaving him nearly immobile for 2 days, and without the ability to use his magic for 1-2 weeks. He turns into what looks like a full dragon, gains an superior increase to strength, durability, magical power, and his aura becomes a hinderance to all. Not only that, but in this form he can also summon a horde of undead minions to fight for him as well, and gains the ability to devastating beams and blast of necrotic energy from his mouth. He can remain in this form for about 2 hours at the longest. Note that this form is an outer shell and that his body is somewhere win the creature torso. As such, if the outer body is killed by destroying the head, then Nidhogg isn't actually dead.
Magic Level: S History: Jackson DuCarthy had a normal life up until he decided to become an explorer, living comfortably with hi s family, a lovely fiance that he was set to marry soon, and a secret child that he was going to enter the world a few months after that. Life, while hectic, seemed to be going pretty good. However, once he heard of the possibility of lost treasure to be found in a recently unearthed cave, he couldn't resist the thought of securing is family's future with said riches.
If he could've known what awaited him that fateful day, he'd have never stepped foot in that cave.
With a group of several others, they descended, slinking by numerous traps. monsters, and other various hazards, before they finally made it to the ruin sight. It was a huge castle that seemed to have been formed in the shape of a tree, and near the base of the tree where piles upon piles of gold, jewels and riches. Jackson was happy as a man could be, imagining the possibilities of what he could do with such wealth. However, before he could touch a single one, a voice called out to him from deep with in the arboreal fortification. A haunting whisper that plucked at his mind with such seductiveness that he couldn't keep away. Deeper he wen into the castle, the piles of gold giving way to twisted roots of stone and the skeletal remains of other such adventures. The voice brought him to a terrifying sight, the corpse of a large dragon wrapped in the roots, the fetid smell of decay wafting through the air with the stink of death.
And yet, in that moment, it was more delectable then the fattest of roast boar to him, and he was quick to dive in to the carcass, driven by a desire he couldn't explain or refuse. He didn't know for how long he at the corpse, only that when the others came found him, he was alone with nothing but bones surrounding him, and even those were crumbling to dust. For a moment, it seemed like a bad dream, and so he treated it as such. However, as they traveled back to the surface, Jackson couldn't help but feel as if something inside him had changed. His nights were filled with terror, his waking moments haggard and dreadful, and no matter what he did, he couldn't shake of this intense hunger thhat resonated in the pit of his stomach.
Soon he returned home, and soon he was to be married. But as he stood at the alter, staring at his beautiful wife, only one thought could come to mind.
She's cheating on me with my brother and the kid isn't mine.
He didn't know how he knew this, it was almost as if just by smelling her, he could sense all of her sins. Looking across the pews, he found that he was able to do that with all of them. All of their misdeeds and wrong doings were open to him . . . and the smell of all of that sin sent shivers down his spine. When the pedophilic priest asked him to say his vows, he was silent for a long while. And then, everything went black, only the sounds of an intense rumbling could be heard in his ears. And yet, underneath that, he swore he could hear the sounds of screaming, explosions, and death. And it was absolutely enchanting.
When his sight was returned to him, his entire down was devastated, bodies littering the streets and roads, and his wife, his beautiful, delectable morsel of a wife, was looking up at hi with fear in her eyes, begging for her life. But the man that was Jackson DuCarthy was dead and something else inhabited his body now, and it had no feelings of mercy. Only a hunger for flesh that was begging for satisfaction. And so, he consumed her, savagely and without hesitation. and that was when Nidhogg was born, with a grin plastered over his bloodstained mouth as he stood, naked above a town of the dead, reborn into this world, powerful and free.
15 years later, as he discovered his body seemed to have stopped aging, he found himself being unwillingly recruited into the Dark Guild, Shadow Heart. For five years he's been the chained pet of Georgie, unable to escape for fear of death, but in some moments he finds himself not minding as much. He's come to enjoy the company of those in the guild, and he knows that if it wasn't for the threat of Georgie, he'd give into his base instincts and devour them all.
Personality: On the outside, Nidhogg seems like a easy-going type of guy, not really caring about anything or anyone. He likes to be free and has a problem when people try to force him to do things, but baring that, their are few people he can't get along with. He also has a mischievous streak, playing around with people like toys under his control. This can go from innocent things like teasing his guild mates to much more questionable practices, such as putting a strange unknown chemical in a person's food so he can see what it does.
Go deeper into his psyche and mannerisms, however, the true Nidhogg is a being of true depravity, one that feeds of the wrong doings and suffering of others. He's a sadist of the highest caliber, loving to cut his victims into pieces until they finally achieve their escape through death. Not to mention that he's a major glutton, loving to feast on the remains of those he's tortured, sometimes in front of his newer victims, so that they know what awaits them in the future. That is the second game he loves to play, breaking the minds of those he captures. Sometimes, it's even more satisfying than physical torture, as mental pain causes so much more pain than physical, and it delights him to no end to see someone cry out in despair.
However, despite all of that, their is still some slivers of humanity present within him, and they have become slightly more prevalent as time goes on. For one, he does't kill young children, and finds it somewhat difficult to kill young couples, as both of these remind him of his own family. He's also rather sympathetic to people who are doing the best they can for their family, and while this may not keep him from killing and eating them, it will keep him from drawing the process out.
Guild and guild mark location: Shadow Heart, and over his Stomach, the color being a dull crimson
Team Members: (If Any)
Three Strengths: (Not just combat) 1. Has an unreal resistance to pain 2. Is a very patient and tactical fighter, preferring to weaken his prey before going in for the kill 3. He possess a very high level of magical reserves 4.Due to being partially undead, his body is vary much more durable than that of an average human due to the fact that he can function normally for a good amount of time without most of his vital organs, making it so that the only way to instantly kill him being decapitation or destroying his brain.
Three Weaknesses: (Make them Applicable) 1. Dragonslayers are dangerous to him, as their magic can really hurt him if he isn't too careful. 2. He likes to play with his food, so he's likely to prolong a fight that he could win easily just so he can enjoy watching his prey struggle. 3. He's very over-confident in his abilities, likely to underestimate his opponents if he sees them as unworthy of his full effort 4.Ice and Cold magics are very potent against his necromancy, slowing them down and weakening them by a good amount. 5.Holy magic, while not as damaging as Dragonslayer magic, is still something he needs to look out for, as his body is partially undead and thus shares the weakness to all things holy and of the light that many undead creatures suffer from.
Greatest Love: Freedom to do anything he desires Motivation: To cause as much chaos and destruction as he possibley can now that he has free reign of the land Appearance:
Additional Details:His jaws and teeth are extremely strong, able to beat through solid steel with little difficulty.
@ExpolarThe only thing of note I can think of is that Caits won't vote because she wants me to talk to Incredible about the whole Necromancy thing, and I don't know how long it's going to be till Invisible graces us with their presence because who knows how deep in Fallout 4 they could be. Games is addictive as hell if it grabs you, and the allure is not easily resisted. Aside from that, nothing truly comes to mind.
@Zarkun@ExpolarSorry to keep bugging, but I'd kinda rather get an opinion on Nidhogg now rather than later, cause with Chirdtnas coming up, I know people are likely to get really busy, if they aren't already, and if this get's put off for too long, I'll either forget about it or loose interest, and considering that I put a lot of work into making this character, I really don't want that to happen.
So you've me pros, cons, likes, dislikes, anything that can help me fix what needs to be fixed or, at the very least, keep me interested in playing this character.
Luckily for the man blocking his attack, Argus has good control of hus magic and he had a good shield, cause if Argus hadn't pulled back some of his magic at the last second, he likely would've cut into his arm, if not take it clean off. As is, the poor idiot got off lucky as Argus backed off, lookin around to find that the scuffle seemed to have escalated beyond reason. Before he could tell them off for intervening, he found himself encased with glass and ice up to his neck. A cute, but lackluster attempt to restrain someone with his abilities, as he cast Crimson God's Blessing, imbuing the prison with his magic and causing it to take deep red glow before shattering, unable to handle the destructive energies being pushed into them. Now free of his bonds, Argus set his sights on Ike, who ignored him, the secondary cause of Isla's not so surprising escape(Ike's own reckless actions being the primary cause) in lieu of attacking his own comrades, one of which doing the foolish thing of trying to reason with the psychopath.
Without sparing anytime for thought, Argus cloaked himsekf in a veil of Electrical energy, than blasted forward, lashing out with his blade, which he also charged with magic, to cut through the construct's leg. With his Lightning forms high offensive output, plus the intensity of the concentration on the edge thanks to the amount of rage and blood/battle-lust emanatimg from Ike, his blade should have little trouble slicing through the energy-constructed limb like butter. Continuing his forward momentum, he'd knock the foolish idiot out of the way, turning around to launch another attack, dispelling Crimson Nightmare so as to free up his hands, which were now sparking with black and red lightning.
"Crimson God's Thundering Pulse!!!" Argus screamed out, his demonic red eyes seeming to glow with exhilaration aa he thrust forth his palms, sending out two large shockwaves of concussive electrical energy, aiming to blast back and (hopefully) paralyze/stun the crazed hothead inside. After the attack, Argus would follow it up by launching a empowered Crimson God Raging Bellow towards enegy mage, switching the property from lightning to energy so as to lower the lethality of the attack, which had the added bonus of launching him away from the foe in case Ike wasn't one to go down easy.
As Argus landed amongst the others, who hopefully would turn and try to attack him right now, he realized with a sigh of slight relief that he seemed to have regained his senses, no longer wanting to kill the fellow guild member as he had before. He did, however, want him to get up so he could lay into him some more, the mage's anger and blood/battle-lust seeping into his own emotion and making him icth for a fight. Hopefully, this ordeal would be over soon, or else he could end up losing himself again to his old gladiatorial ways.
