4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

Nidhogg

Nidhogg, in his distracted state, wasn't as quick on the draw as Shiro. While he was able to recognize that James was preparing something and Joshua was moving(thus switching into Speed mode in order to react) he couldn't bring his wings up in time to shield his eyes from James' attack. As such, he was left annoyed as he got hit with the full brunt of it. Not only did it actually hurt due to the Holy element, though it was more of a stinging sensation than anything else, but the top layer of his eyes had fried, making it impossible for him to see. However, he didn't seem overly bothered by the fact, completely ignoring not only James, but Jacey as well as he proceeded pull out his eyes with his fingers. Needless to say, it was a rather bloody and grotesque thing to do, especially when he actually did pull them out and hung them from one of his hands, staring at first James, then Jacey with nothing but the empty, bleeding sockets of his eyes as he swung around the bloody organs by their nerves.

"Boy, you both sure can talk a lot about shit I don't care about. Anyway, I don't see why what I was doing seemed to be a problem, since I didn't touch a hair on any of them, and I did intend to keep my word because, in honesty, playing games with them was just so much fun. And I wouldn't have hurt any of them as long as they had followed the rules." As he spoke, he threw his eyes into the sky for a bit before catching them in his other hand, placing one inbetween his thumb and forefinger in a way where the organ was staring directly at the group of light mages, James in particular. "Though, because of that one, I am obligated to start killing civilians now, since he decided to put his students safety above them after all, but you came in at the perfect time to stop that. Too bad as well, I feel like he would've been interesting to torment with that, as he seemed like the righteous type. I mean, while his instincts and advice was right, he must've been pretty blind to not realize that the other one was going to stop the boy. I said that those two could move, and I extended that to Cody to keep his conscious from holding back his rage. . . so why risk innocent lives like that? It truly is interesting, and I only wish some civilians had stayed around to see that, but I'm thinking that we're the only ones here."

At this point, Nidhogg would toss the eye into his mouth, chewing on it thoughtfully while finally closing one of his eyelids, covering the bleeding socket, though not stopping the blood from seeping out the sides, making it look like he was crying blood.

"You know, I tend to forget sometimes that I taste rather delicious, not to mention how much I under-rate the texture of a human eyeball. I can't think of anything else that just seems to pop and melt in your mouth like this." As he swallowed, a strange slurping sound could be heard from his covered eye before he opened it up to show the eye had been replaced, though it seemed to be turned towards the side in an odd way. He would repeat the process with his other eye, then shake his head a bit as he reconnected the optic nerves. This could've been solved much more easily by just causing the damaged tissue to peel off his eye, but this was done to give him sometime to think, as well as just to be as unnerving as possible to those around. Once he could see again, however, he'd send an icy glare towards the newcomer, no small amount of killing intent radiating off of him. "As far as your concerned, I would very much like to taste your eyeballs. See if they retain the same delectable consistency. I'm certain whoever sent you wouldn't mind, especially when they find out that you drew more attention to their plans than anything I could've done. I'd say that you're confident the guilds won't be able to do anything, but of course, then you wouldn't care what I did? It seems rather amateur to me, and thus I would normally have nothing to say to a lackey like you . . . but I tend to have a certain hatred for anyone who tries to control me. It's the reason why I want to hand Georgie by her own intestines while I feast on everything else, then bring her back so I can do it over, and over, and over again for the rest of eternity."

"Yes, I think I'd very much enjoy doing the same to you, but I doubt you'd indulge me in that. You don't seem like the type, which is why I made a point to memorize how your sins smell, so that I can find you when you eventually flee like the lackey you are." As he spoke, his magical energy began to condense around him in a thick purple mess, forming soon into the snarling maw of a dragon. His eyes were pinned on her with a savage intensity, that it seemed like he was about to launch himself at her at any moment. Then, in an instant, his face would break into a mocking grin as the ground beneath Amaya would break open, fanged skulls bursting from the ground to sink their fangs into her legs and skeletal hands reaching out to pull her by the shoulders down into a hole where a savage looking beast of rotting flesh would be waiting for her in the sewer below. In that same instant, the ground around James, Cody, and Joshua would burst as a dome of bone, wreathed in necrotic energy on both the inside and outside, would quickly slam down over them while similar hands and fanged skulls would burst out from the sides of the dome to grasp at them. THe dome would close over too quickly for most to even think of escaping before it closed, but Joshua might be able to. The dome wasn't that thick, however, as it was mainly a diversionary tactic.

"But before that, why don't you help us get rid of these witnesses, so that their guild and the council get's as little information as possible on whatever plan your planning, cause no matter what happens now, investigations will happen, it's just up to you how much they have to go on." Nidhogg would say, seeming to be greatly enjoying the havoc he was creating. He knew that their were flaws in his logic, as well as that he could be possible fighting off the newcomer, Mamami, and Shiro as well if she decided to strike him down, but if it did come down to that, then he could always just eradicate the entire city and be done with it. Death would be assured, but at least he would take down a lot of delicious morsels with him. "Oh, and Shiro, I hope you noticed that Slayer going over all the information she just learned. Names are important, thus why we don't just say them without thinking. Manami, teach your pet better tactics, cause so far, she seems rather useless in these kinds of endeavors. No wonder you got your ass kicked last time."

@Vocab801, so I think I win. *sips of superiori-Tea from the top of a pillar of 'Better than you'*
@RoselettaThat actually isn't impossible, but it sure as hell wouldn't be easy . . . It does get me thinking, though. If it ever was to happen, you'd need to either strengthen Nidhogg's feelings of humanity(for example, Nidhogg won't harm young children because Jackson was going to be a father before all of this happened) or you need to purify Nifhogg soul, thus allowing Jackson to break free. Both would be tough since Nidhogg wouldn't just let it happen, but it would be doable for anyone who cares enough about the mental state if such a psychotic and evil man. I fund itinteresting that Amata would even consider helping Nidhog, though, consider how he seems like such a horrible individual, so much so that no one would take the time and effort to even try and redeem him.
@KronshiI thought it looked familiar, as my sister uses that site quite a lot as well.
@KronshiHOLY SHIT!!! YOU'RE BACK AND BLOODSTONE LOOKS BADASS!!!!! Also, what was the character creator you used, because I want to use it too!! Also, I'm glad that you seemed to be better, hopefully. JUst know that whatever happened or is going on, you always have my support.

Edit: Also, Sorry for not being on as much. I just couldn't keep up with all of the rapid fire posting.
@RoselettaThat sort of a 'Yes and No' kind of thing. Nidhogg is the product of a violent possession, and as such, he still feels fragments of his old personality because it's still in there, buried deep within his current persona. And buried even deeper than that would be the original Nidhogg, the ball of primal hunger, instinct, and base destructive, self-serving impulses that is completely and utterly inhuman. So he kind of has Split personality disorder, but not really. That's my take on it, anyway.
So that was a weird post to write, and probably a bit strange to read, but bare with me. I'm laying down plausible groundwork for an idea I have in mind for Nidhogg. I'll probably have to talk to Lunar about it, as it may or may not involve his one of characters. Still brainstorming.
Nidhogg

"*sigh*. . . Didn't I tell you to keep quiet? If you say another word, then I will let them go and turn my attention to you. Do you understand? My patience is growing extremely thin." Nidhogg only gave Shiro a small gaze from the corner of his eyes, but his cold tone and the completely lack of . . . anything within his eyes gave the words a menacing edge. All of the excitement, the manic delight, the sadistic pleasure, all of it vanished in a second in order, revealing the cold monster deep beneath it. After he made sure the girl had gotten the point, he turned his attention to Amaya, who suddenly appeared with a rather interesting proposition. Nidhogg rolled his head a bit, taking note of the position and stances of each of his opponents, the smile coming back to his face as he considered what she said.

"You don't quite know what I'm capable of, my darling little slayer, so don't speak as if you do lest I show you all the destruction I could reap upon this city if I truly tried." Again, Nidhogg spoke with an emptiness as his smile stopped reaching his eyes. The blood red orbs would seem to stare through all of them at once, impressing on them that deep within the man they saw before them was something older than they could comprehend, something dark, primal, and cold. "What you are offering is a tantalizing proposal, and if I could do so with the promise that none of your compatriots would interfere, then I would be more than happy to oblige. Like I said earlier, I've no real stake in this . . . but then again, I truly wonder how many people I'd be able to kill before you all managed to actually take me down. It's a thought every bit as tantalizing as the flesh that hangs from your bones. The boy at your side seems eager to start, if nothing else."

Suddenly, Cody would find all of Nidhogg's attention focused on him, as the gaze of a hungry hawk upon a small mouse in an open field. "What is your story with the guild, I wonder? Did we kill your family? Murder a brother or sister that you held dear? Or perhaps you hate us due to some strict and boring code of honor? Whatever the case, I can't help but feel amused that you think that, just because you managed to arm yourself, that you could make even a paltry difference in the coming battle. In fact, if you do choose to break my rules, I might simply kill you first, simply because the hubris you must have to think such a thing is laughable at best. You're weak, and you will always be weak. Your guildmates may try to tell you otherwise, but I've seen plenty like you before, and they all were equally unimpressive. I mean, look at yourself. Your enemies stand before you, and you just stand there shaking in your boots, cursing at your ineptitude. If you have any true conviction in your hatred, then come and strike me, boy."

Nidhogg simply held out his hands as he spoke, leaving himself wide open.

"No need to worry about others, though, as I give you my word that no harm will come to anyone as a result of your actions. All you need do is try your best to cut me down with that blade of yours, to show me the depths of your conviciton. Isn't that why you joined this band of rejects, to actually make something of your worthless life?" Nidhogg was enjoying himself immensely with how this situation was developing, and if Cody did take the bait, that would lead to a very interesting situation indeed. Nidhogg didn't quite know himself why he was acting the way he acting, only that he felt a desire to break the boy in some shape or form. It was a hunger within him that was deeply primal and base, something he could no longer really understand. For a moment, he was Jackson again, feeling something taking him over and worm it's way into his very core. For the first time, in a long time, he was afraid. He was afraid of what lay beneath him, the source of his power, of his urges, of his desires. But as soon as the moment came, it was gone and the mania was once again present in his eyes, though to Shiro, she'd notice a slight unsteadiness in it.

That was . . . odd. He pondered internally, spacing out as he waited for Cody to do whatever it was he wanted to do. What just happened? All I remember is feeling annoyed by Shiro's questioning, and suddenly, I couldn't control myself. I remember everything that happened, but it's almost as if I was watching from afar. Again . . . how odd Nidhogg gave no outside indication of his current disturbed mental state, but as it was, his focus on the situation was currently very much broken as he tried to make sense of his suddenly hostile actions . . . and the presence that accompanied them.

@Zarkun@Lunarlors34@Roseletta@Joshua Tamashii
@Joshua TamashiiHmmm. . . that would bring something I had in mind about sooner then I thought if it did happen(I reserve how dangerous this mystery figure is until I see them) but I would be fine with that. And you doubt how much Nidhogg loves a good fight. But will see how it goes when it happens. Anyway, I have a post to make.
@Joshua TamashiiSounds interesting, and also, fighting strong opponents is his favorite thing to do, so he's definitely going to have fun.
