Personality: Jackson is a soul that is haunted by his past deeds, sent to the lodge in an effort to rehabilitate him as well as keep him out of the public eye. He often refuses to talk with most people, not because he doesn't wish to interact with others or is innately anti-social, but because he's simply afraid, both for his own well-being and their own. This fear causes him to often mistrust those who try to get to know them, making him come off as cold and disinterested with everything around him. However, despite his misgivings, jackson is a kind soul at heart and can never refuse a soul that is in need of help, no matter how trivial the matter maybe. He is always ready to give his all to any task that may help another person, even at the cost of his own well being, having a habit of getting in over his head from time to time.

Despite his supposed indifference, Jackson is a very observant individual, always watching those around him in order to both ascertain their intentions and read between the lines if they appear to be going through some turmoil. He just doesn't know better, and despite his lack of people skills, often trys to be the 'hero' in that he wants to help people with their problems, even when they don't ask him too. However, he's never forward or honest with these intentions or feelings, keeping his investigations either purely observational or using his powers to give him a better read on the person he's decided to help and figure out the issue that is plaguing them and the best way to face it.

Appearance: Jackson is around 5'4 and resigned to the fact that he's likely never going to get any sudden growth spurt at his age to make it so that he isn't always one of, if not the, shortest guys in the room(though he must admit that it makes it easier for him to fade into the background). His hair is cut short-ish, dark raven locks hanging just a bit past his ears, but only a bit. His attire of choice is often a black hooded sweater or jacket, a plain, dark grey t-shirt, dark blue jeans, and dark-colored sneakers.
Powers: Clairvoyance: A basic medium ability that allows one to see into the world beyond death, it's a necessary skill for any task that a medium wishes to accomplish, as it enables them to view, communicate with, and combat beings that are normally undetectable by the human senses as they flot the line between their world and our own. In short, this is the ability that allows a medium to interact with denizens of the land of the dead, from departed souls to spirits that have roamed the other land since time began and anything in between. This ability also has useful effects for the living, as it enables a medium to read a person's aura. Everyone's aura is unique to them, much like DNA or fingerprints, and can provide a skilled medium with an immense amount of information about any given individual at a glance. A skilled medium could learn someone's emotional relationships with other people(by seeing how their aura's react with each other), tell the exact state of someone's physical and mental health at any moment in time, and even read emotions to such a degree that they can predict another person's actions and intentions with a terrifying level of accuracy, along with countless other applications, the most widely known(but rarely achieved) skill being that of predicting the future of anyone on person by using their aura to peer into the weave of fate itself.

At his current level, Jackson is able to pick up on someone's general emotional state, though his connection with Ignota allows him to better read into the more negative emotions someone feels, enabling him to pin down with some accuracy some possible causes of these feelings, though things can get a little jumbled at times due to his relative inexperience. One thing that he is much better at is using one's aura to read into their physical well-being that, when mixed with his own medical knowledge, allows him to quickly diagnosis what is wrong with an individual with near unerring accuracy.

Object Reading: This ability is when a medium reads the residual aura of an individual from objects that they come into contact with, specifically those that bear some sort of importance to the individual in question. By using such an important object, a medium is able to focus their senses and synchronize their own aura with that of the person the object belonged too, allowing them to essential become that person momentarily, at least in their mind. By doing this, they're able to retrace an individuals movements up to the point where they were separated from the object, the length of which one can look back depending on the skill of the medium, the importance of the object to the person, and the length of time said item has been in that person's possession. This can also be used to pick up fragments of the individuals thoughts, as well as using it in a ritual to divine their location, though the exactitudes of it depends again on the skill of the medium and the bond the target holds with the object in question. Also, if an object holds a strong importance to or is owned by several people, then it's hard to read said object due to the intermingling of residual aura's upon it.

When it comes to Object reading, Jackson is more skilled than a child his age should be, but in the grand scheme of things, it's something he only has an average understanding of, and thus, his readings aren't entirely reliable, though he's got a decent chance of getting the general idea of things.

Astral Projection: Astral projection is the act of pushing one's aura out of their body along with their conciousness, forming a spiritual body in the land of the dead that can peer into that of the living, making it a great way to scout out an area or building without risk to the medium. It also gives them a stronger connection to the other world, increasing their ability to perceive and read aura's due to the lack of interference that is present in the world of the living, as well as being able to maintain their focus better due to the lack of human restrictions. However, this ability comes with many dangers, the foremost of which being that the user's physical is completely vulnerable and open to possession by any spirit that wishes to if they don't make a special magical circle around them first to protect it. Even with these circles, it's all to possible for a spirit to wonder by that is strong enough to simply break through the seal. As such, it's often seen as a skill that should only be used when absolutely needed, lest you open yourself and everyone around you to danger. Not only that, but the astral body itse;f isn't exactly the most sturdy of forms, and if you happened to get wounded in this form, a similar wound is likely to form upon your physical body as well, with death in this world often leading to deah in the real world as well.

This is one area where Jackson truly shows his natural talent as a medium. Astral projection is a skill most mediums aren't even to attempt until their late twenties, and yet he has not only attempted this art many times before, but his skill with it is often considered prodigical. He can slip into and out of his body with ease, able to travel up to a mile in any direction before his connection to his physical body becomes strained, and can spend about 4 hours outside of his body without any risk to his health. On top of this, he's also developed enough skill and familiarity with his astral form that he can even summon his spiritual constructs in order to defend himself from the more hostile denizens of the land of the dead. Despite his ability and love for this power, he often makes a point to use it as sparingly as possible, and never without the proper circle, as the thought of spending the rest of his days as trapped between the worlds of the dead and the living while some other being puppets his body and lives his life terrifies him.

Spiritual Energy Constructs:As essential as ritual casting for the act of driving out dark spirits and evil departed, this ability allows a medium to reach their aura across the plane that divides life and death so that they may do battle directly with the being in question. The actual shape and strength of this ability is tied to the skill, willpower, and strength of aura that a particular individual has. Some mediums are even skilled enough to borrow the aura from others if their own is deficient, though this is considered one of the Black Arts among Mediums and, while not strictly forbidden, is heavily frowned upon due to the possibility of killing the donor.

For Jackson, he's generally decent at forming constructs, mostly forming grasping objects like tendrils, chains, and hands from anywhere within 10-15 ft of him. Said constructs are better suited for restraining spirits then banishing them, allowing him to perform the proper rituals needed to more permanently remove such denizens of the other side. However, these constructs are both invisible to most non-mediums and they also can't interact with the world of the living without the help of a powerful other that has bonded with the medium.

Spirit Bond(Ignota): Many Mediums, in order to increase the scope of their abilities, create a close bond with spirits from the other side. The exact effects depend on the subject of the bonding, but the most often chosen recipient of this bond is a recently departed human being, as they are often the ones most open to a contract in order to feel what it's like to live again, but also the least likely to successfully take over the medium.

For Jackson, he bonded with an ancient spirit entity that feeds on negativity and dark emotions, a abyssal shadow that hung over all of humanity in dormant slumber until Jackson awoke it from it's rest by reaching the furthest reach of it's mind during a deep dive into the realm of the dead. The two became bonded on behalf of Ignota, who instantly clung onto this new sensation he felt all of a sudden and refused to let go. As a result, whenever Jackson calls upon Ignota, he gains a noticeable increase to his proficiency with his abilities, most strikingly being that of his constructs.

When using his constructs like this, they take on a black shadowy appearance, surrounded by a dark fog that radiates feelings of dread upon those who look upon it, which now includes those not normally able to view such phenomenon. The sheer immensity of Ignota's existence, as well as how inter-connected it is with all living beings, especially sentient ones, make it so that tendrils of it's power are able to act upon both this plane and the other one simultaneously. Jackson is also able to create better, stronger, and more versatile constructs in this way as well. The best example of this would be his ability to form a 'Shadow' which is a tall shadow humanoid that possess great strength, speed, and agility.

Strengths:Medical Student: He's been studying medicine for quite a while, so he can be a decent provider of first-aid, as well as keeping people from worsening their condition.
Ritualist: A number of rituals are needed in order to do a mediums work, and Jackson knows them all by heart. While these do have an effect on the world, they're nowhere near impressive or powerful enough to be call super powers, as they mainly serve to detain the spirit to one area or item, weaken the spirit, or banish it from the place of haunting, among other things. A supportive set of skills that require several preparations, reagents, and time to properly function, but are often necessary to ensure that a medium survives encounters with particularly dangerous denizens of the other world.
Observant: As stated before, Jackson is a highly observant individual, often taking the time to pick apart at every detail of a scene and every word in a sentence to try and peace together possible meanings from them.
Weaknesses:
Beacon: Despite how much it improves his skills, Jackson avoids invoking Ignota's powers in all but the most life-threatening of situations due to the fact that it acts like a huge signal to denizens of the other side. This draws all manner of dark spirits and evil departed to him, and while his body can't be possessed or haunted while his soul is inside it due to his connection with Ignota shielding him, those around him are not as lucky and can be used to indirectly harm him as a result.

Not a fighter: He has no abilities or skills(such as martial arts) that help him in a real world combat scenario that don't require Ignota, meaning that he's practically defenseless in super-powered confrontations and best stay out of the way other-wise.

Jeanette couldn't help the small grin that spread across her face as the stuck-up princess was escorted out of the building, glad to have dodged that figurative bullet. She quickly suppressed the expression, however, so that the principal wouldn't catch it. Deserved as it might have been, it wasn't proper to delight in the misfortune of others, even if they only had themselves to blame for it. Once that had been taken care of and the headmaster had given his speech, the Erish girl was getting ready to walk back down to the crowd, expecting it to take sometime for her new partner to be chosen. However, it seemed that wasn't to be the case, as hardly anytime past before she heard a name being shouted out by the Headmaster.

"Beatrice Quincy!"

Well I'll be damned, they really don't arse around here, huh? Jeanette thought as she ceased her descent down the stairs, looking out among the crowd with cerulean orbs as she searched for who her next partner was going to be. She didn't have to wait long, however, as a petite girl with brown hair and green eyes quickly made her way forward, teetering somewhat due to the large pack that she carried with her. Jeanette couldn't help but give a slight chuckle as she placed a hand on her hip, sizing the girl up a tad as she approached with a smile and a greeting. With a genuine smile of her own, Jen grasped the smaller girl's hand with her own to give a firm hand shake.

"I couldn't agree with you more. As much as i do love this place, no need to prolong this any further now that I have someone relatively sane as my partner. I hope we get to know each other very well this coming year." Jeanette ended her sentence with a sly wink and a somewhat more suggestive twist to her grin before she turned back towards the Druids, quickly removing the glove from her hand before setting it down over Beatrice's. Despite the cool exterior she gave off, her soon to be partner would feel a slight trembling reverberate through the blonde girl's hand as the excitement and nervousness of the moment, as well as relief that she no longer had to worried about being tied to such a cruel woman anymore, caused her nerves to be somewhat shaken up.

Korrey raised his head a tad as Felicity offered a trip to the Library, scratching at the back of his neck. "Yeah. . . Probably best to do a quick overview, since I've got no clue what this class is going to be like on the first day, especially considering how much of a hardass I heard the teacher was." rising up into a sitting position, Korrey took a second to adjust his sunglasses before hopping off the bed and walking over to the glass box where vulcan was currently sitting. After a few clicks, the top was opened and Vulcan was quick to jump out and begin exploring the contents of the dorm. While Vulcan satisfied his curiosity, Korrey opened his backpack and set it on the ground, letting out a sigh as he saw that Festus was still in mope mode.

"Festus, I know you're still upset about me yelling at you earlier, but I need you to watch Vulcan while I go out for a while, okay? I can't take him with me, lest he cause a disturbance, but I know he'll get himself into some mischief if I just let him walkabout unsupervised. Can I count on you?" Korrey gave Festus a stern look, which was returned by the snake's own unblinking gaze. However, Festus quickly relented, moving it's hide to the side with a defeated hiss before slithering out of the bag in order to watch small rodent.

With that handled, Korrey turned back towards Felicity, taking a moment to stretch a tad before they actually left. "So, any particular critters you want to cover, or would you rather we just covered some general topics over anything specialized?"

APPEARANCE

The first thing you'll notice about Kiyoshi is that he's rather short of this age, coming in at around 4'6, with dispassionate violet eyes and and relatively short spiky red hair. He often dresses in loose-fitting clothes that don't take much effort to put on or take-off, Most would consider him to be rather unkempt, with splotches of sealing ink covering a great deal of his clothing being a signature sign of his near manic desire to study Fuinjutsu often leading to a disregard for some of the finer parts of personal grooming. He also often carries with him a bag-filled with numerous texts on the subjects of Fuinjutsu, Chakra Theory, various Ninjutsu scrolls, and other such things that he spends time studying for use in his Fuinjutsu experiments, as well as his specially-made kit for his Fuinjutsu work, including several different types of ink and many different sized brushes made for a variety of strokes.

PERSONALITY & MOTIVATIONS

To most people, Kiyoshi could be best described as distant. His interactions with other students if often minimal, as he's always in his own world during break periods, surrounded by many notebooks upon notebooks about complex Fuinjutsu theory. When people do talk to him, they find him to be rather polite, if seemingly meek, never seeming to call anyone by their force name, even if told it is okay to do so.

To those who know him closely, however, they know that what keeps Kiyoshi from interacting with people isn't fear or even shyness, it's simply that he doesn't care to talk to most people. This is due in part because he finds it hard to find common interests with others his age as the interest he does have tend to go way over the heads of most classmates he tries explains it too. But another part of his distance from most others comes from the fact that he still has yet to really recover from the trauma of the Night of Crimson Tides. He still often has nightmares about it, and has become paranoid about the people he cares about dying in front of him. To prevent that is the reason he even decided to become a shinobi in the first place, to protect those he still has left. But he knows the type of profession that the life of a shinobi entails, and thus has convinced himself that by keeping his emotional distance from those he might be teamed with, then if they do end up dying one day, he won't be connected enough to care about them.

CLAN HISTORY

The Uzumaki Clan is the founding clan of Uzushiogakure, the Village Hidden by Whirling Tides, and has been a significant ninja clan since pretty much their inception. The Uzumaki are masters of fuinjutsu, having created a vast majority of versatile and powerful fuinjutsu seals, styles, and techniques, of which they were glad to share the more domestic of which to their allies, in order to both form stronger bonds by improving their average standard of living, but also in order to gain new perspectives on the art and science of fuinjutsu and the nature of chakra itself. THe seals that they kept for themselves were those to dangerous to be spread about the world without caution, capable of great wonders, but also equal horrors if placed in the wrong hands. While now few in number due to the assault of a mysterious group of shinobi, those who remain still hold a great amount of pride for their clan's history and continue to practice the art, while also making sure to strengthen their fighting strength so that such an event never happens again.

PERSONAL HISTORY

Kiyoshi's early life, before the blood and horror that brought the end to so many of his kin, was one lived within the halls of the main clan compound, never quite enjoying the pursuits that other young children pursued at his age. Ever since he could walk, it was easy to notice that he was different then other children. Where others were loud and demanding, he was quiet and contemplative, always watching those around him with an eerie comprehension, an intelligence far beyond his years hiding behind those eyes.

When he started his schooling within the clan, however, was when the truest extent of his gifted mind was shown, as he quickly picked up on how to write, followed shortly by speech and reading, his mind able to form rather complex chains of thought for one of his age. Around the age of 6, however, is when his talents emerged, as he found himself reading a book on the subject one day. After only about a few weeks of study, he began to draw several perfect recreations of the simple seals within that, when tested, worked flawlessly in their deigned functions. While Uzumaki are known for their talent in the sealing arts, the elders knew that Kiyoshi was more than just talented, and were quickly writing up plans for the boy to receive private tutors so as to better harness and develop his growing intellect. Unfortunately, the chance to do so never came for soon afterwards, the Night of Bloody Tides occurred, filling the halls of the Uzushiogakure red with the blood of Kiyoshi's clan members.

That night, Kiyoshi saw many of his clansmen cut down before his eyes, including both his father and brother. As the day dawned and the shinobi were driven of, Kiyoshi felt a swell of emotion fill him as his mother clung to him, as if his veins had been filled with lead. For months after the event, Kiyoshi had nightmares of that night, each time feeling nothing but helplessness as he sat by and watched each death occur, and just when he's about to join them, he is saved. And then the feeling gets worse. So many had died that day, and yet he had survived, It felt wrong for him to live his life when his father had been so ruthlessly cut down, when his brother was lying buried under the earth, when so many of his clan were no longer able to.

Unable to properly handle these emotions, Kiyoshi shut himself off from the world, focusing on the one thing that kept his head clear, that gave him something else to thing about. In the year of self-imposed solitude, Kiyoshi greatly incrased his fuinjutsu skills and, in the process, also seemed to lock away the worst of his fears, giving off the illusion that he had gotten over the events of that night. However, in truth, he had become even more obsessed with bringing back those who had died, and knew that it was possible with fuinjutsu. He'd heard one of the elders speaking of a seal one time, a seal which bent the Shikigami itself to the users whims. If such a thing is possible, then why not a seal that can bring the dead back from the gates of hell. That, more than anything, is the motivation behind his research and attempts to collect info on various forms of fuinjutsu, ninjutsu, Iryojutsu, and other such secrets known only to secret sciences considered too taboo to ever be explored.

When it comes to interactions with others, Kiyoshi can be described as a meek sort if going only by his apparent outward interactions. He doesn't talk very much to those around him, and the times he does, it's often in a soft spoken manner. In truth, Kiyoshi finds most people around him to be annoyances of some caliber. As such, those who tried to interact with him would find that he'd be hesitant and somewhat irritable if forced to spend long periods of time with others, especially amongst the 'academically challenged' in the class. Kiyoshi found any and all academic tests given to him to hardly be worth his time, able to ace any of them without ever touching the book or paying a lick of attention to whatever the teacher said. When it came to the theory and thought behind jutsu, there was no one in the class that could surpass him, a list that often includes any poor teacher that tried to trip the boy up on the subject of Academics. However, Kiyoshi is far from the perfect student in this world, for while his mental prowess is clearly on an advanced level compared to anyone around him, he often found himself struggling when putting such theories into practice. As such, his practical skills were considered to be some of the worst in the class, leading to him just barely passing the bar to become an active genin.

When it comes to his home life, there really isn't much to say. He tries his best not to be a burden to his mother, but also doesn't spend much time with her. Often when he comes home, he immediately goes into his room to shut out the world, working on his ideas and plans for future Fuinjutsu designs, completely focused on the ideal of further enhancing his skills in the field for his grand ambition. However, knowing that the seal he wished to make is a long way off, he doesn't mind branching off from time to time in order to work on interesting side-projects to improve the lives of those living in the village he now calls home.

SPECIAL TRAITS

A true prodigy in the art of Fuinjutsu, his abilities in the field are unmatched among any of his peers, and also make up the bulk of his abilities to contribute to a battle, as he is skills with Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu are rather base, to say the least.

Kiyoshi's Uzumaki blood makes him surprisingly resilient in terms of stamina and sheer survivability. He also possess rather large reserves as well, though his lack of of Jutsu sees that goes mostly wasted for the moment.

Kiyoshi's mind works differently then most. Instead of a big mess of thoughts, it's organized into separate streams of consciousness, enabling to essentially keep perfect attention to multiple things at once, such as running through five math problems in his head, or holding a conversation with someone while concurrently thinking about a sealing matrix test and all the intricacies involved in the process. This makes him a master of multi-tasking and keeping his attention on multiple things at once. It also has a combat function of allowing him to keep a decent amount of attention on multiple threats at one time without sacrificing his ability to react to any or all of them at any time.

FOCUS & SKILLS

Kiyoshi is a mid-to-long range support fighter and will often try his best to keep out of the thick of the fighting as best as he can. His main form of fighting is through his archery skills, the only physical skill that he's shown any form of skill at. His marksmanship with a bow is rather good, and his practice with it has given him a suitable level of upper body strength, though his skill in that art of Taijutsu is not that good. Along with his arrows, Kiyoshi has also formed a few special kinds of seals in order to keep himself from being a completely sitting duck if got unawares by an opponent.

EQUIPMENT & INVENTORY

• Archery stuff

  Activator Bow: This durable wooden bow is one of several that Kiyoshi has on hand with storage seals, up to 3 on his person at any time, and is able to hit almost any target he can see with them. Along the middle of the bow, where the arrows are drawn, their is an activator seal, which Kiyoshi uses instead of handsigns in order to activate the seals he places on his arrows. This allows him to continue firing without stop, as the seal activates on a timer. This timer is determined by how long the shot is held against the activator, the longer the wait the longer it's held.
  
  Seal Arrows and Regular Arrows: In order to make the best of his skills, Kiyoshi has made a variety of special arrows, usually about 15 or so of each if he's had time to properly prep, which are each placed within their own respective storage seals. In terms of regular arrows, he usually carries about 30 in their own respective storage seals upon his person.

  • Explosive Arrows: These arrows hold the power of 2 explosive tags, with the only tell-tale sign of the explosion being the sight of the shaft giving off small trails of smoke before it blows up.
  • Smoke Arrows: Simple and to the point, after a set amount of time or after it's made impact, the seal will spew forth a copious amount of thick black ash-laden smoke. It spreads quickly, encompassing an area of around 5-10 meters, and lingers for about 2-3 posts in an open area, and double that within an enclosed space before it disperses. Wind style jutsu can be used to instantly disperse it or redirect it somewhere else. This smoke is also highly combustible, allowing for lightning and Fire jutsu to easily light it up for a pretty big explosion.
  • Sticky Arrows: These seal arrows work a bit differently from the others, as they activate upon impact with the target. Once these arrows have come into contact with any solid object, the seal upon them activates and releases a large amount of a quick-hardening adhesive, enough to fill an area of about 1-2 meters. The initial spread is quite large, and the adhesive hardens within seconds upon contact with the air, making for a rather effective trap. However, the adhesive that is made isn't particularly strong, as Kiyoshi's yet to find a proper-way to transfer the mixing process over into fuinjutsu form. As such, one can escape from it through exerting some small amount of effort, though it'll likely require that they focus a bot, thus does it's job of hindering the assailant, either to make way for an escape or to slow down a fleeing target.

APPEARANCE

Tsume is tall for her age, as well as a bit more ‘developed’ as well, due to the fact that Ryuuga seem to mature somewhat faster than most other people, so while she 12 years of age, her body is closer to the 13/14 mark. She often wears loose, form-fitting clothes if she can help it, liking the option of being able to fight in whatever she’s currently wearing at any moment. As for looks, she’s been told on occasion that, when she’s not trying to pick fights or cause trouble, she looks rather pretty, though in truth she doesn’t really care much for her looks at the moment.

PERSONALITY & MOTIVATIONS

Tsume is about as stubborn and confrontational as they come despite, or perhaps because, of her weak body. While most would think that she'd try to stay low and keep from getting into tricky or stressful situations, she constantly puts herself into the business of others, attacking bullies and challenging stronger students in class whenever she can. Despite her need for medications an treatments, she remains about as cheerful as possible about life, being an optimist at heart that is convinced that everything works out in the end, no matter how rough things seem at the moment.

Despite her cheery, if brash, personality, few people can hold quite as much of a grudge as she can. Even if the offense is small, she'll likely hold it against the person in question for quite sometime before she let's it go, if she ever lets it go. It's often best not to cross her, cause while her body restricts her ability to fight, she has a devious mind and often pulls pranks and tricks on those who've managed to upset her in some way.

CLAN HISTORY

The Ryuuga Clan is an old clan that once called the mountains of Kaminari no Kuni their home during the beginning of the Warring States period. They were a peaceful people, at first, dedicated towards the art of manipulating chakra and strengthening their connections to the elements through it. They were isolated from the violence of the time, enjoying a peace and tranquility known to few due to the natural defenses of their home. Sometime during these early days, however, one of the members of this clan discovered a cave hidden deep within a mountain glen. It is rumored that in this cave lied the portal to the realm of dragons, who challenged the man to three tasks; One of Strength, One of Skill, and One of Power. Upon completing these tasks, he was gifted with the blood of a dragon, collected within a large sake gourd made from gold and ivory. He was then told to take it to hi clan and drink from it, and claim for themselves the power to truly be one with the element.

When the man returned, the others of his clan were hesitant to accept the gift, uncertain and fearful. But the man, believing deep in his heart that this would bring his clan closer to enlightenment, poured himself a glass of the blood, and heartily drank it down. It was said that the moment the crimson ichor slid down his throat, the chakra in his body erupted outward,the powerful force of it soon giving off immense heat, taking the shape of fire and even burning the grass and ground around him. Once the Chakra had settled, the man rose reborn with eyes of blazing crimson and flames dancing around his fingers.

Whether this story is true or not is unclear too most, but regardless of the legitimacy, the Ryuuga discovered an innate ability within themselves upon that mountain that gave them a strong tie with the elemental natures of chakra. However, with this enlightenment also game an instinctive urge for battle and dominance, something that wriggled and writhe beneath their flesh and into their minds that forced them away from their safe homes, taking the techniques that they had honed for discovery and meditation and turning them into weapons of war and devastation. Not only that, but the pressures of their growing clan population and the lack of resources further the need to go forth and conquer.

The first years away from peace were harsh, as they had never been to war before, but as they carve themselves out a place amongst the constant fighting, more and more of their number began to grow in skill and power, learning new ways to take their elemental mastery further, as well as discovery ways that their gift changed their bodies on a fundamental level. Within a generation, they had become a credible threat to most other clans, and unlike the others, they never stayed still. Always moving, always fighting, they went wherever they desired and destroyed anyone who got in their way and tried to stoop them. Or tried to, at the very least. THeir were clans out their that they could not defeat, teaching them a harsh lesson in what happens when you underestimate your opponents, but by the time the era of warring states came to a close, the Ryuuga clan had proven itself to be made of strong warriors and specialists. Not only that, but they also were a clan that learned from their travels, incorporating fighting styles and knowledge that they had taken or observed from the enemies they fought and/or conquered in order to further grow their power and skill. As such, they're not just a ninja clan, but a clan of many different types of fighters, all dedicated to the art of waging war and thriving off the conflict.

When the Warring Clans Era came to it's end, the Ryuuga head of the time, Ryuuzaki Ryuuga, tried to convince his clan that it was time to put their wandering to rest, to settle down and make peace with the newly established Konohagakure. He told them that it was the clan's best chance of survival into this new age, Unfortunately, his words did not reach his clan, and his own brother, Ryunosuke Ryuuga, challenged him for the right to lead the clan via a battle to the death, and after a solid day of constant battle between the evenly matched opponents, Ryuuzaki made a single mistake and was quickly and ruthlessly dispatched. From that moment on, the Ruuga was cemented as a clan of warriors, a relic of a violent era that manages to still survive to this day off of the conflicts of the age. While the Daimyo and nobles soon learned to call upon the skills of the Hidden Villages for their task, those working in the depths of the underworld found the Ryuuga to be the perfect alternative, as they would do any job, no matter how gruesome or dastardly.

In this time of peace, the Ryuuga are seen with both respect and distaste for their ties with the Underworld of the elemental nations, with a fair number of their shinobi appearing upon multiple Bingo books. However, they are difficult to track down and eradicate due to the fact that the clan is split up into many different sects spread all across the continent, never staying one place long enough to be tracked, and even when found and attacked, almost always choosing to fight to the death or kill themselves rather than face capture. Even if a sect is destroyed, it's isn't hard to find another sect to work with, as the clan's spread-out nature allows it to to be fairly large, as well as the fact that they can incorporate others into their clan as well through marriage and ceremony, binding them to a willing Ryuuga in order to share the blood of the dragon that runs through their veins.

During the Great War, while the villages suffered as war broke out all over, the Ryuuga prospered, selling their services to those seeking to protect themselves from the ensuing chaos and devastation that came as the Hidden villages fell into all out war. The Ryuuga that rose to prominence during this period are thought to be some of the strongest since the clan's inception, and many have since taken the positions of power from the former heads, either by right of succession or force. However, the glory that they gained from the war was short-lived, as the lords of the time soon drafted an end to it, and before long, peace returned to the world. And so the Ryuuga continue their work as mercenaries, waiting for the next war to come with bated breath.

PERSONAL HISTORY

Tsume was, in plain terms, a mistake and embarrassment to her clan. Born with a weak body, she would've been left to die in some field per the Ryuuga custom if not for the pride of her father and current head of the clan, Jin, who refused to believe that his progeny could be anything less than perfect. Still, even he couldn't ignore her weakness forever, and around the time when she was six years old, the child was dropped off at a random road by Jin himself with the hope that either her sickness or the wilderness would end her before she became any more of an embarrassment to their clan.

For days, the child wandered that road, growing progressively weaker as the lack of food and the harshness of the elements only worsened her condition, until she finally collapsed on the side of the road, feeling little but the cold embrace of the void. However,it was not death which found her that day, but a kind stranger who had happened upon her during his travel between village. Unable to leave her in that state, alone and abandoned in the middle of the wilderness. As the two of them traveled, heading for the man's home in order to find someone to care for her, Tsume would come to view him the same way one would view an angel, thinking on him as her greatest savior. Not only did he save her life that day and take the time to get her to a new place she could call home, but upon discovering her sickness(which she had tried to hide from him at first, lest it caused him to abandon her as well) he actually took the time to form a special medicine just for her in order to abate her affliction.

Namikaze Fukushu: "Fuku is probably one of the coldest people I know. It's hard to judge if she cares about anyone sometimes, including herself. She'sgot this air of being better than you, which is irritating, but after spending a lot of time with her in our sparring matches, I find that she seems to always push herself to and past the brink. I can respect that, even if I think she takes it a step to far. Honestly, it's gotten to a point where I want her to take better notice of me as a rival, rather than just a resilient punching bag."

SPECIAL TRAITS

Tsume, as a member of the Ryuuga family, is born with a very strong connection to her elemental affinity of fire, thus making her fire jutsu’s that much stronger and more efficient as nature manipulation comes to a Ryuuga as easy as breathing, it’s something they can all do with little effort. However, due to her connection to fire being so strong that it even affects her chakra, and thus, other non-elemental techniques(to a certain degree) that she is literally incapable of using any other elemental jutsus.

Also, she has the ability to gain a sort of Berserker Rage if she reaches a high level of emotional turmoil and stress, which wipes away all of the fatigue from her body and doubles her strength for a time(about 4 posts), but also erases all rational thought from her mind as she rushes forward to crush any foe before her. When the rage ends, however, she’ll be left completely defenseless as her body will simply stop moving, the strain of pushing itself so far beyond it’s limitations being too much for it to handle. Due to her illness, this can even damage her body the longer she stays in it, such as internal bleeding, tearing of muscles, etc.

Unlike most Ryuuga of the fire element, Tsume possess very good chakra control, and if she applied herself in the field, would probably grow into a fine medic-nin. As it is, though, this enables her to be very precise and careful with how she uses her chakra, to make sure she doesn’t use more than is needed, and thus, keeps her fighting longer before she blows through her reserves.

Tsume’s innate stamina is lower than that of others of her element, and thus, ill-suited towards the style that she has chosen to emulate. She often tires herself out too, refusing to pace herself and often paying for it dearly in spars where the enemy is able to outlast her initial onslaught. Her illness also robs from her the greater strength and physical ability of her clan, though she could still be consider a bit stronger than a child of her age would be, its hardly noticeable in most scenarios and thus makes little difference.

FOCUS & SKILLS

Planning to be a Nin-taijutsu specialist, she would spend a lot of the time in the thick of the fight, using her father's style in lieu of traditional academy basics, an all out offensive rush of speed meant to overpower the opponent and break down their defenses beneath the explosive might that the clan's special traits gives those with the Fire release. Despite her unwillingness to change her style of fighting, she isn’t entirely unwilling to adapt to her faults, learning jutsu and techniques to provide distraction, cover, or escape opportunities for her should the need ever arise, especially given the drawbacks her body inflicts upon her.

Her intense training session with Fuku have given her an increased tolerance for pain, as well as helping to somewhat mitigate the drawbacks of her frail constitution as well, though it still is a big limiting factor. Her skills with weapons are about average for one of her age, not stellar, but not terrible.

Description
Tsume, after making the needed seals, wraps herself in a veil of flame that vaguely takes the form of a dragon, before propelling herself towards her foe at great speeds via unleashing an explosion underneath her feet to act as the method of propulsion. Upon making contact with her target, or really any object in her way, the flames blast outward in a radial burst, igniting any flammables or fabrics within a meter or so of Tsume, as well as unleashing enough force to stagger most people. The technique is mostly an opening for her to go in and tear into a foe, especially one that’s guarding, but she can also use it as a quick escape/evasion tactic if she needs it.

Description

This jutsu is what allows Tsume to be a Shinobi despite her body's weakness. By focusing her chakra as she breathes, she able to strengthen her lungs so that they can handle the strain of battle better, though she'll still tire quickly if not careful. All this does is keep her from coughing up blood by pushing her body too hard, and it's note something that lasts that long either, going up to about 4 posts before she needs to do it again. Due to the focus this technique requires at her current level, this leaves her open too attack from an opponent if she has no one to cover her or can't find a safe spot to rest for a bit.

Description

Tsume creates a solid clone out of fire, which is encased in a thin, fragile shell of her chakra. While the clone can fight, it only possesses one tenth of her overall ability, and as such, serves a more of a distraction than anything else. However, due to its make-up, it often makes for a more effective one than regular clones. Upon dispersal, the clones burst into a torrent of small flames and embers, both clouding vision of those nearby and inflicting minor burns upon the target, causing more pain than any real damage(unless they happen to get in your eyes or anything).
