The screens on display were quite interesting--if only to try and work out a little bit about the others that had arrived in the park with her. This was easier said than done from the clips available; though Nanoha and Menomaru were clearly animated, in her case there were simply manga panels--and not much would ever be learned by looking at the RPG screen featuring Mordred. Honestly, it was surprising that their own worlds could be noticed in so many different methods--and from the animation displaying, over so many separate years.

The vampire was taking this pretty well, all things considered, but why wouldn't she? She'd met a time traveller from the future before and it was a basic consequence of time travel that you would have to consider diverging timelines at some point. If time travel could cause it, then surely some other significant difference could cause parallel realities... and it was hard to disbelieve your own eyes when looking at such a thing.

The offer given was hardly a tempting one; get drawn into cleaning up after official ineptness in exchange for three things Evangeline could do without if pressed. There seemed to be a missing catch with the villain wannabe around.

"And if we don't accept?"

Hibiki paused, partway through devouring the delicious fried balls. Find shelter? Her phone didn't seem to be working but they were still in Tokyo, it would only be so difficult to get back to somewhere she could find her way home, "If I can get home from here, then I'm sure I'd be able to help with that!"
Minami Hotaru

Truly, she should try and pay attention more in class, but that hadn't been the problem! Okay, Maths was boring, but she wouldn't have fallen asleep just because it was such a terribly dull subject. Well, probably not. Maybe not this time. That had been known to happen occasionally, but only when the topic the topic required was something she barely understood in the first place... and it was a warm summery day, when the sun was shining...

Okay, so exactly like today. That was beside the point, though! It wasn't why she'd fallen asleep at all!

"Nanaaaa, it was only because I didn't sleep well..." the taller girl whined, leaning against her roommate's back. At least her arms had migrated to be around her shoulders rather than clutching on at the waist, "But... maybe if you sang me a lullaby, it'd be all better and I won't miss the next one~?"

The best tech in the RP are the Inteligent Devices of Vita and Nanoha, by far and wide. Nothing that Tony Stark can pull out can get even close to that.

Nah, I think Hibiki actually wins that challenge. The core of her stuff can't even be replicated. :P

... though it's... magic, science, alchemy, a piece of Gungnir, and powered by singing. It should horrify all mundane scientists.
Minami Hotaru

Aah... kept behind after class again. Well, it was her own fault... like definitely her own fault, but was it really something to get worked up over so much? It was only a little sleeping, and it was only maths, so it wasn't like she was going to have any idea what the teacher was saying anyway... it was bad but couldn't she have a little slack? She'd been so sleepy...

"Minami, are you listening to me?"

"E-Eh?"

"Haah..." Well, it was over with, and that was the important thing. She'd promised to stay awake the next time but there was only so much that Hotaru could really do about that... if she didn't get enough sleep then that was that. Maybe Nana would have an idea? She was much better at remembering these sort of things, really. And cooking. Maybe there was some food that made you really sleepy in the same way that cheese was meant to give bad dreams?

Ah, and she'd even been waiting! "Nana!"

It was a pretty good thing that the smaller girl had turned around to look. Hotaru wasn't known for restraint and the hug would turn into more of a tackle if it caught her unaware.
... if this is somehow still on, I'm out. I don't even remember what's happening, who's playing what, who hasn't quit, or what was being done about almost everyone in one group leaving.

Inuyasha? Hm, it sounded somewhat familiar... maybe it would have been useful if Chisame had been drawn along with her, implausible though that would have been--that girl would certainly have been more useful about understanding what sort of game the soldier was going along with. But, as interesting as it might have been to go find out all about this foolish demon, he had a point that to get answers would mean going along with the soldiers. However...

"If we come with you, leave keeping that one in line to us."

"Eh?" Hibiki's response was less than eloquent, blinking a few times as the coins were placed in her hands. Had she been slightly more alert, then it was likely that even she would realise that someone that couldn't recognise Tokyo had no business carrying around a bunch of shiny Japanese coins. Fortunately for Ben's deception, he'd managed to get lucky on not getting the most perceptive relic user... and one that had until recently be in bed. Which also made this a good stand-in for breakfast as she rushed off to the nearest vendor.

Returning with an armful of takoyaki, there was certainly one thing to note: she'd bought more than was needed for two people. Well, two people normally. "Ah, I'm a bit hungry, sorry."
  • Name: Yamakawa Momoko
  • Age: 16
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: The joint shortest of the club members, but she makes up for it in other ways.
  • Personality: Momoko is a shy, quiet girl, the type who stays right out of the limelight and spends class breaks reading. She's not even the best at answering questions if asked directly outside of her family...
All of which goes to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Momoko has an incredibly lewd imagination, considers her an ability a great way to flip skirts without getting undue attention, and smuggles porn magazines into school amongst more reasonable fare. She's also a pretty big fan of science fiction and romance stories, rather than reading only nonfiction.
  • Brief Backstory: Momoko's family claims to be a long line of psychics, sadly degraded in modern times to little more than parlour tricks. In the past walls would crumble before them, people's innermost secrets would be laid bare, and the history of any item would be apparent with a simple touch--or that's the claim. Her parents aren't any better than Momoko herself, and she doesn't see why she should sit down and practice to get better at something useless.
She's gotten through school well enough, remaining at the top of her class, but not really making friends. Her initial plan would have been to join the literature club if any upon joining high school--but the poster got her attention first. Of course, it wasn't like she expected, but it's the first opportunity she's had to make friends in a long time...
And the other members are nice to look at, so there's that.
  • Skills: Top of her class, Momoko has excellent academic performance--indeed, if she pushes for it, competing nationally is quite within her talents. She doesn't excel so much in other regards--if following a recipe exactly, there's no doubt it will turn out fine, but she can't improvise to save her life. She's also absolutely awful at PE--Momoko has always been bad at it, but after a certain point it just got harder and harder...
  • Abilities: Momoko is a psychic. Specifically, she displays basic telekinetic talent. If it's close enough for her to make it put in detail and no heavier than a large book, then she can move it more or less how she wishes. This comes in particularly helpful for turning pages in a book without needing the book to actually be in her hands... or flipping skirts.
Or stirring whilst cooking without getting up. It's not super strong, but it's useful.

  • Name: Minami Hotaru
  • Age: 15
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: She's quite pleased by the recent growth spurt. It's left her quite a bit larger than her friend.
  • Personality: Hotaru seems to not take anything quite seriously enough, waving off trouble with a smile... even if you shouldn't really be doing that with incomplete homework or failed tests. She seems to only jump at three things: lazing around, eating something good, and helping people in trouble. She's also incredibly devoted to her friends... though for the most part, the change in school means this is currently her roommate. The only sign that Hotaru's not completely forgotten how she lost her arm seems to be fairly regular bad dreams.
  • Skills: None. Well, none that would really stand out... if anything, Hotaru's lack of skills is more notable. She isn't super athletic, her cooking skill amounts to being able to follow the instructions on instant food, and her schoolwork... well, suffice to say that "passing" is about all that she's really got a chance of aiming for. If she has any skill, it's in maintaining her attitude despite whatever happens to be going on.
  • Brief Backstory: Hotaru lived a fairly normal life up until her last year of elementary school--she was no better a student at the time, but it hadn't really started to matter. Then, of course, the Phase happened. It isn't something that Hotaru can really remember, only the monster itself, her parents getting in its way just long enough for someone to get there--but not long enough to stop it from getting to her, the feeling of an arm crystallising--and then it was gone.
When she got back to school, a new student had transferred in, seemingly having trouble with making friends--and Hotaru made it her goal to befriend the girl. After inviting her over to her grandparents regularly for most of junior high, especially after learning what else they had in common, she's ended up as that girl's roommate now.
Of course, Hotaru has no idea about RELICs, or her own compatibility...
