Hikari looked around the Shibuya Scramble, where Seiji had said to enter the Metarealm from.

There did not seem to be any sign of Seiji, so should she just enter the Metarealm on her own, Hikari wondered? She remembered Seiji mentioning that there would be other people he had recruited, though he didn't go into details about them.

She had just met Seiji yesterday, so she was a 'last-minute addition', so to speak, before whatever it was he had planned for today in the Metarealm.

Had they known each other? What sort of dynamic do they have? Those were the thoughts running through Hikari's mind before she shook her head. After awakening her Persona, she had decided not to worry so much about whether she fit in to the point that she was conforming to whatever would please the group.

Still, old habits were hard to get rid of, she supposed. Take, for example, her arrival. She did not know if there were others here, but she went to Shibuya Scramble as fast as she could, straight from school, still in her uniform. An 'afternoon' encompassed a huge window of time, so technically there was no need for her to be in such a hurry, but due to the habit she had built up to please people by 'making sure people never wait for her', she just felt anxious if she wasn't in the meeting place early. Though arriving early was probably one habit she should keep. It was just proper behaviour in a professional setting, so it was a habit that would serve her well once she started working.

She used to arrive thirty minutes early, but then she realised that only made people uncomfortable instead, so she eventually found the 'sweet spot' of arriving ten minutes early. Though, in this case, since there was never a specified time, she couldn't really be 'ten minutes early' in any case.

She took out her phone, about to give up finding Seiji or a member of his team and just enter the Metarealm, when she spotted a man seemingly a few years older than her, about college age, sipping a coffee of Starbucks with the word 'Seiji' and a familiar crown logo.

The man was not Seiji, but the words on the cup indicated that he seemed to be here for the same purpose as she was. It was too much of a coincidence otherwise.

Hikari pocketed her phone, deciding to talk to the man before entering the Metarealm. She entered the establishment before approaching the man.

"Pardon me, I'm sorry to bother you, but may I ask if you are acquainted with Seiji Minamoto?"
@Aurkanthis

So to be honest, I'm not sure I can run a Muv Luv RP in the immediate future. Was hoping someone is interested in making one.

Anyway, as I said, I don't have a concrete idea, but...the deaths of characters are integral to Muv Luv, but obviously in an RP, it's not fun to change characters every arc or so. So my idea was to have players have one 'main' that is on the same unit as the rest of the players. These would be the 'main characters' the one that have plot armour. While also having them have characters on the side as pilots of other units, these would be the side characters that can die.
So I know it's basically a very niche franchise aside from being known as 'One of Attack on Titan's major inspiration' but is anyone here familiar with the Muv Luv franchise?

The TLDR is that it was a visual novel about mech pilots fighting against an alien invasion.

TBH, I don't even have a concrete RP idea yet, but it's just more of a whimsy of 'Muv Luv RP would be interesting'
Arnannel

Arnannel had to refrain from clicking his tongue. This sort of attitude was exactly what was wrong with Fanewick Native. They’ve lost. The rebellion was little more than desperate rabble that would rather they all die in a suicide charge than entertain peace or a semblance of peace.

What would such posturing and explicit disdain for Haven accomplish? Do they think Havenites would kneel down upon a brazen display of pride in their homeland? Or would it make the Havenites who saw them as mere lowly barbarians change their mind? Who were they kidding? It
would only make it worse for all Fanewick natives.

What use was there in clinging to such foolish pride? Would it feed your children? Would it give you access to Haven’s amenities and a higher quality of life? Would it magically grant your wishes? The answer is no, so to Arnannel, something as burdensome as pride of one’s homeland was better thrown away if it would allow you to make a better life for yourselves.

He had done so, ingratiating himself with Havenites and partaking in the ‘fruits’ of their society and never looked back. If these people refused to imbibe from the proverbial Havenite fountain because of foolish pride, then it was their loss.

He sighed, “Look, I don’t really care what you think of Havenites. It doesn’t matter to me either way. But if there’s trouble, surely we share the same interest in keeping them away from Alula, no? What’s the harm in telling me? Unless…” Arnannel trailed off, noticing their guarded look, “Is it the rebellion?”

Anyone else want to do some discussion too?

Actually, I was wondering since Jae-eun's sister was the cheerful sort, does Tenko reminded him of his sister, if at all?

TENKO MARIA THOMPSON

Tenko closed her eyes solemnly as Takaya was listing the names of the deceased demon slayers in the past three years. She remembered the names well, as Tenko had prayed for their souls in purgatory. It was the least she could do for those who gave their lives in the fight to protect others from the demons, just like her mother.

Many among her peers have used their dead comrades to fuel their anger toward the demons. Tenko did not think of it that way—or at least, she tried not to. Murder, even in self-defence, left an indelible mark on the soul, even more so when killing the innocents or the good people who fought for the protection of the innocent. Such a thing was not good for the soul, and thus was a testament as to why demons were to be pitied. Barring a few exceptions, they were an existence driven to commit such acts by their very nature. Granting them death would be their salvation.

As Takaya then assigned Tenko to work under the Dragon Hashira, she turned to Jae-eun, as he finished saying how he would take care of her and Eizo. She gave him a smile, "Thanks! That's reassuring," she let out a small giggle, "But don't forget that goes for you too, Hashira or not. Take care of yourself too, and don't be afraid of asking for help from Eizo or me if needed."

Before long, they were interrupted by the arrival of the Mirage Hashira, Kairi, who dragged a dishevelled man along with her—apparently the famous, or rather infamous, Sun Hashira, Kamado Ryunosuke. Tenko had heard of him, of course, the so-called Dragon of Shinjuku, renowned for being a bit of a renegade and hard to work with in the corps, most recently going AWOL after being brought from Shinjuku to Tokyo.

Nevertheless, something that even his harshest critics can’t deny was this man’s skill as a demon slayer, seemingly stumbling into high-profile demons and proceeding to skillfully slay them with his Sun Breathing, bolstered even more with…

Tenko’s eyes darted to the mark on his face. The Demon Slayer Mark. The thing that took away her mother’s life. She wasn’t sure how Ryunosuke felt about the mark, but either way, it was both a blessing and a burden.

Tenko herself wasn’t sure what to make of Ryunosuke. His stint of being AWOL certainly supported the bad rumours surrounding him, but it wasn’t quite right to be judging him, especially when she had just met him.

Or, just judging him in general. Speck in the eye and all that.

As he stumbled to the ground, Tenko approached him as she rummaged through her purse, “Umm…Kamado-san? Are you all right?”

Finding what she was looking for in her purse, Tenko then offered him a water bottle along with a packet of medicine, “I have aspirin if you’d like.”

It's an urban fantasy inspired by magical girl anime. It's the same novel I was working on last year for NaNoWriMo but things got busy so I've had a chance to write it for a while.

Huh. The urban fantasy magical girl kinda remind me of that Magical Girl homebrew for World of Darkness

TENKO MARIA THOMPSON

"Aww...you should have let your Kasugai Crow continue to speak, Oyakata-sama! The way it talks is very cute, and an albino at that!" Tenko said as she mock-sighed, before receiving the letter.

"Thank you, Yanagi-chan, Oyakata-sama," Tenko said with a smile, receiving the letter from Takaya. Calling someone five years her senior with the honorific 'sama' was weird at first to Tenko. Having been raised in the United States, where formalities were laxer, she already felt awkward addressing people her age—or younger—in this case with 'san', which roughly translates to 'Mister', let alone 'sama', which translates to 'Lord'. Still...after about four years of service in the Demon Slayer Corps, she was more than used to it at this point. Despite his young age, Takaya had shown foresight and wisdom that far surpassed his age, enough so that it was hard to even think of him as a child. Tenko suspected that the rest of the corps felt similarly.

It really was sad that a child that young ended up shouldering such a responsibility. No matter how smart a child was, it was always a tragedy for them to have to forgo their youth to carry an adult's burden. Still, it was his choice, and at the very least, from what Tenko could see, he coped better than many of the Demon Slayers.

As for Yanagi...as always, Tenko felt the sensation of needles prickling her skin, a testament to Yanagi's true nature as a demon. It might be antithetical for a Demon Slayer Corps to work with a demon, but personally, Tenko was always in favour. In her eyes, demons struggled even more than normal humans against their fallen nature; the 'desire of the flesh' was stronger in demons than in humans, and thus it was harder to act in a way that human was meant to be, flesh subordinate to the spirit. And so the fact that Yanagi was able to transcend that nature was admirable.

Of course, the fact that she was very cute helped!

Tenko then opened the letter given to her, reading its content. It was from her Uncle. Well, Uncle', he was her mother's cousin, not her brother, but uncle was a good description of their relationship. Reading the content of the letter...well, it had appeared that there were some internal issues within the Rengoku Clan. Ordinarily, she would think it was more objections regarding her status as a Demon Slayer—since Nobuo saw it fit to inform her and even implied she might be dragged into the issue—but the part about 'don't believe everything you see and hear' made Tenko think this was something more serious than some within the Rengoku Clan feeling as if Tenko joining the Demon Slayer Corps trampled upon her mother's wishes who wanted Tenko away from demons and demon slayers.

It was something to ponder later, but for now...

"Well, it's nice to hear from Uncle Nobuo! Too bad we have business to discuss..." Tenko said with a sigh. She doubted Takaya summoned all three of them just to deliver a letter.

"So...what's the emergency?"
Relationship Chart : Tenko's thoughts regarding;

Yoshihide Jan-eun :

"An upbeat and cheery man on the surface, but...his smiles don't reach his eyes, not really. A classic case of masking. His vendetta against the demons is driven by the loss of his family, perhaps seeking atonement for failing to protect his family by killing demons who seek to harm others. Storge may seem calm and serene compared to Eros, but the hate borne out of it is just as consuming, perhaps even more so. I hope he can forgive himself someday." @xAlter

Arashi Eizo :

"The 'gap' between the serious demon slayer and ice cream lover is cute in a little brother kind of way! I suppose we both wear masks that hide our true selves when slaying demons. Still...I sincerely wish for him to find solace. Taking lives, even if they are demons, driven purely by vengeance and rage, is bad for the soul."@Theyra

Tomioka Guen :

"Life is a journey of 'meetings' and 'partings'. The deaths of loved ones are undoubtedly a cause of great sorrow, but the fact that there is an inevitable end does not erase the great joys of loving relationships, be it Storge, Philia, or Eros. And of course, Agape. I hope that one day she will remember that life is not only about the sorrow of 'partings' but also the joy of 'meetings'."@Yu Narukami

Uzui Kairi :

"As an only child, I love having an older sister-like figure that dotes on me. But I hate the fact that she toys with demons before killing them. Though the spirit has been subsumed by their demonic flesh, it remains still; thus, they too carry the 'Image of God' and are children of God still. They deserve not scorn but compassion and pity, for the existence they had been forced into."@Digmata
What relationship chart?
