Question

Okay this is probably not the right place, but I don't see a better place to ask a question like this. How does one turn text into links to other sites here on this forum? I realize after all my time here that it still have no idea how to do it lol.

Taking Isago's first strike on one of the front guards as a cue to begin attacking, Kai rolled over to the right, grabbing the edge of the carriage's roof before he slid right off. He took the guard on the right by surprise, intercepting him and pushing him off of his horse with his feet. The teenager then let go of the edge he was hanging from, landing expertly on the ground. He drew his cutlass immediately after, preparing himself for the imminent sword fight. The guard, who had recovered from the earlier tackle, charged at Kai with his own sword.

Their blades clashed, and although Kai had expected such a level of expertise from a trained guard, the battle was keeping him on his toes. He was concerned about how the two men were doing at the front of the caravan, and thought that it would be best for him to bring the fight nearer to them as he slowly inched his way around the corner. It would be easier to have one another's backs that way. He also wondered about the guard on the left side. Where was he and what was he doing amidst all this chaos?

From his hiding spot, Kai smirked in amusement at Isago's disguise. The older man had succeeded in stopping the convoy, though, with the guards' attention on Isago and presumably some time to kill before the planned attack, the teenager took the opportunity to get even closer to the caravan. He left his corner and went round the back of it for a better view, still taking great care not to be seen. From what he had put together, there were two guards leading the convoy, and two more guarded each side of the carriage. He then heard an unfamiliar voice, which started a conversation at the front of the caravan. Who was that who was speaking? What was going on?

Kai was startled when the guards at the sides suddenly drew their swords, but used the moment to make a swift dash to the unguarded rear of the carriage, stepping up on the back footboard and pressing himself against the rear panel. He inched his way to the corner and peered around it, waiting for the opportunity to make another move. Soon enough, for whatever reason, the guard on that particular side turned his attention to the surrounding rooftops. That was when he was able to climb to the roof of the caravan and creep to the front. He could finally see what was happening when he got close enough to peer over the front porch.

Kai was confused at the scene taking place below. Who was this young man in white and what was he trying to do? This was not part of the plan, and he figured that Isago too, must be rather agitated at this unexpected occurrence. Regardless, the guards appeared to already be on to them, and they would have to end up drawing their swords at some point. He continued to lie in wait on the roof, deciding which side to drop down on and attack first when Isago eventually began his assault on the front guards.

Action time, will probably get a post up tomorrow. Trying to decide between having Kai start the sword fight and just walk in on the scene pretending to be the new guy's younger brother. lol
