"It would appear so," Tawny replied Lance as she watched Lucas disappear into the trees. "However, it's possible that may be the case because they are still apart. We should keep it that way for now."

She usually felt secure around her group of friends, but with the sudden eccentric behaviors displayed by a few of them, it felt to her like they might as well have been total strangers. She shifted closer next to Lance and leaned against the side of the wagon, glad to be near a member of the group who still seemed level-headed enough. She hoped that no more of them would start to lose it the longer they remained in this unknown world.

Reina's question then reminded her of the stranger they had seen with Odum. Curious as well, she listened in to his reply from where she was.

Tawny nodded in acknowledgement at the woman with a light smile, thinking it polite enough since she had waved at them and introduced herself. She turned to Odum after 'Enta' left, as he mentioned the city.

"Well, yes. That was where we going to leave for before you went off on your own," she replied, a hint of annoyance in her voice.

With all on her mind, she was able to ignore the awkwardness as they made it back. Upon reaching the others, she strode up to the wagon and hopped on, Ash leaping on right after her.

"Time to go," was all she said, hoping nobody else would say anything to aggravate things again, at least not at the moment.

Well I've been away for some time. I'm actually looking forward to the interactions later on, during the third test, I'm guessing.

SNAP

What was that?! Her head spun around to look at the seemingly-steady root that had been supporting her, only to find it slowly starting to give way, to her utter horror. This had to be a nightmare. With the situation compelling her to let go, she felt the strong winds' attempts to pull her clean away from the cliff. Acting quickly, she managed to take hold of the roots that were protruding out below. The drop had only lasted for a split second, but it took her another moment to get over the airtime she had just experienced in that short span of time. Unlike a roller-coaster, there was no safety belt for security.

An involuntary glance back up led to something catching her eye. The previous root she had been holding on to had somehow begun to mend itself. Forgetting her fear for awhile, she was fascinated, but at the same time indignant at being tricked, especially as it could have meant life or death for her. She wondered how many lawsuits had been faced by the academy, if any, for she knew that her parents would have hysterics if they ever found out what she was doing over here. With that in mind, she continued to press forward, following the trail of roots down to the outcrop. On the bright side, that drop had brought her significantly closer to it.

She was nearing the outcrop, when she suddenly felt the bunch of smaller roots she was holding on to begin to tear apart. She urgently glanced at where she was supposed to make it to, her attention falling on the foliage. She had no idea how hard or soft it was, but if she could make it there, any injury sustained from it would be better than dying. Taking a deep breath, she put her foot against the wall of the cliff and launched herself towards the outcrop, hoping that the friction would be sufficient to get her there. Her eyes were shut as she tumbled into the collection of leaves, and when she opened them, everything was blurry and her head pounded.

"Oww..."

Her vision cleared after a few blinks. She was exhausted and hurting, but she had made it. It was definitely quite a bit to process, and she looked forward to letting her affluent friends back home know about how she nearly died. A couple of others had made it before her, and she was filled with admiration at their skill and courage. There was no way this was a normal thing for anyone to do, not even for those who were not as well off as she was.
@Zaphander Aaand, done :) Sea has confirmed wanting Reina to come along, so I included that in.
Tawny's eyes shifted to look at Reina, who came up beside her as she was walking off. Apparently, she had somehow missed the entire incident.

"Would you believe Odum lost it and stomped off like a little kid after an exchange with Lucas?" Tawny began as she continued on, assuming Reina was the only one coming with her. "I'm going to get him so we can leave. Lucas has become surprisingly aggressive for some reason, and Odum even more so than usual. It's strange."

Odum was easy to track, considering the fresh animal blood left on the floor. However, no carcasses were to be seen, which was rather confusing. It took some time before voices could faintly be heard coming from a distance, and Ash suddenly broke into a run and darted ahead of them.

"Ash!" She hissed at the wolf, quickening her pace as well.

They eventually arrived at where Ash had stopped, finding Odum and a white-haired stranger. Tawny did not think much about the woman, for their intention was to get back as soon as they could.

"Odum! There you are. What do you think you're doing? We need to leave, now."

I'm around, mostly, I can reply once Ratte does. Or before if preferred, I'm prioritizing my group roleplays so I don't hold you guys back, but life's been taking a toll.

Guess it doesn't matter which one of you posts first. @FalkiThomas
@Zaphander Is Enta keen on joining the rest of the group? Cause I can have Tawny bring her back together with Odum at some point. I wanna know if you guys have any plans so I can roll with them.
@KatherinWinter Well if Roxy ain't gonna show I guess the group will be taking Eryx to the hideout anyway, after responses from Eryx as well as Ratte.
With her confidence coming only from the fact that she had done it before, Tawny had stood her ground as the horse charged straight towards her, though the entire experience had still been way more terrifying than she had anticipated. It had only been the second time she had gotten an animal to do what she had wanted, after all. She instinctively ducked as Donny was thrown over her when the horse suddenly stopped, and slowly reached out, shakily but gently running her fingers down its face.

"T- That's it..." she muttered between deep breaths of relief. "Stay... That's a good girl..."

She turned to check if Donny was alright, and saw that he was able to stand. "I- I'm so sorry."

Tawny then looked over the rest of group. Still visibly shaken by what had taken place, she back away a couple of steps as she spoke. "It's fine, everything's alright... I'm going to see if I can get our runaway, and then we can go."

She spun around right after, heading for the forest where Odum had been last seen going towards. Ash continued to stick by her side, though, if any of her friends decided to follow, or stay behind to wait, it would be up to them.
