Yang Bethlehem

Yang nodded and yawned, exhaustion catching up to her. With that she too agreed that she needed the rest. After the entire ordeal, she needed to sort her head out.

"Alright, good night then." She waved and head towards her room, not even bothering to change and went straight to bed.

After the night, and the morning came. She automatically woke up, took a bath and cleanse herself. Once then, she sat in the room to meditate for a long time. When she did finished the session, she slowly moved to remove the kinks in her body from sitting in one position too long.

With that, her mind a good clearer and calmer. She went down to see what the new day brought.

"Good morning to all of you." She bowed her head before looking around for Bart. Yang noted that Neil wasn't around, though she suppose he had other task to attend.

Yang strolled and reported her actions to Bart, with a deep bow and remorsefully said. "Forgive me, guildmaster Bart. I failed in my quest, it was an utter disaster."

She reported everything that happen, from the old woman, then the scuffle with the guards at the town when they're searching for clues, all the way to the death of the old woman.

"I have no excuses for my failures, I'll accept all responsibility and punishment for it." She then kneel on all fours deeply with her head on the floor as she awaited the decision of Bart.

She closed her eyes bitterly, perhaps what made it worst was that she felt that she failed the old woman.

Ditzy Stoneclub

Ditzy looked a bit disappointed when the large woman didn't respond to his request but her giving him a name made him smile again.

Once that was done, Ditzy went to sleep and rested peacefully. Once the morning came, he woke up, washed his body and face slowly, before coming down.

He noted the weather seemed a little dreary than normal, but he suppose that meant it won't be too hot like normal days.

I can't play in the rain though, Papa said to be careful about that. He thought to himself before looking around on what to do.

His eyes caught the quest and trash, Ditzy hummed thoughtfully as he wondered why would it be called one's man trash when the request had hardly anything to do with trash. Not to mention it was two people as well, so it should be two man trash!

Maybe its the man trash instead? That thought came across him before he nodded firmly to that, that makes more sense. Still doesn't explain the collecting part though.

Collecting things seems easy, Ditzy hoped he can do that one well.

Just as he was about to volunteer for it, a new voice made itself known through the wall. Ditzy turned to it and his enthusiasm grew as more people appeared.

@AzureKnight Vara & Nagare

He exited the building and saw all three new arrivals. With a happy innocent smile, he extended a hand first to red-headed woman first before noticing the light-blue hair lady, then extended the other hand. Leading his arm crossing over each other.

This didn't dampened his enthusiasm at all as he looked at them.

"Hello! I'm Ditzy Stoneclub, want to be friends?" He asked them sincerely as his curiosity burst with new people."So which village did you come from?"

@Lacroix Vanessa

Ditzy tilted his head as he heard the ghost looking lady introduced herself, and he slowly processed the information before he greeted the new arrival.

"Nice to meet you, Lady! I'm Ditzy!" Ditzy liked the ghost lady, she didn't seemed bad and was so lively compared to some of the ghost lady he met.

@PaulHaynek Bart

After all the introductions with others was done, Ditzy turned to show Bart the job he's taking.

"Ditzy thinks he can handle this!" Ditzy showed the quest he's taking.

One man's trash

"Oh, can Ditzy go play at Valoran forest after this? There's new goblin friends there!" He asked Bart eagerly like a child asking his parents permission. "I'll come back for dinner, pinky swear!"
Bye everyone, And thanks for all the fish.

Uhm, can you explain a bit on your reason of leaving the quest? Just for a a little clarification?

Yang Bethlehem

She sighed and thanked the guards with a bow of her head.

"I'm sorry for all this trouble, and I deeply regret my actions to your comrades. I went as easy as I can to them, they should be fine." Yang said apologetically to them, she did refrained as much as she can. The damage shouldn't be permanent at least.

Still, this was by far, the worst experience she had. Not only she started trouble, the old woman was dead. There's nothing she could do now to change that, a sorrowful look on her face appeared at that thought.

She walked back home listlessly, not really caring as her mind was just filled with nothing but emptiness. The drop of rain made her aware of it as she raised her head, before she turned around to Maria and took off her thick, travel monk clothing and passed it to her.

"Here, its raining, cover yourself with it." Yang was down to a short robes that fit the day to day life for the eastern style, within, her chest was tightened and held by bandages.

During the cold rain, Yang didn't seem to register it. She had worst training before, and she was too preoccupied with what she could have done to salvage the situation.

Her eyes closed briefly as the rain droplets sting her eyes, and ground her teeth in frustration as she couldn't come up with an answer. She briefly wondered, what exactly her master would do?

Soon, she reached back to the guild, drenched, her clothes wet and felt a shiver coming despite her constant breathe exercise to warm herself up.

Yang weakly raised a hand, nodded and smiled to Neil, before her eyes came to the large hole and wondered what just happened.

Neil had a close look to Yang without the thicker monk robes which allowed him to see her muscular structure and shoulders. One that was built with nothing but hard training for almost a lifetime.

Hearing Neil being concerned for them warmed her heart up, her smile regained some radiance back as she pulled Neil into a hug.

"Thanks, our quest...didn't end well." She said to Neil and didn't really extrapolated beyond that.

"I'll have to report this to Guildmaster Bart first though. Is he still awake?" She asked Neil as he pulled away from him gently.

Ditzy Stoneclub

Ditzy did a fist pump as he smiled triumphantly at that.

He slowly made his way to Bart to listened what's going and briefly collected the sandbag he had lobbed to the bad man.

"I can hit him hard enough that he can't remember who he was!" He suggested innocently to Neil and Bart with a smile before someone else had interceded as he watched the large new lady tossed the man far into the woods. He watched in awe as the man soared in the air before landing afar.

He giggled at that, that man was like a tossed stone! He wondered if he should do that next time.

"Oh, you're strong! Are you a dragon! Where's your gold?" Ditzy inquisitively asked as he had to stretched his neck upwards, the large dragon lady was the largest person he had seen so far.

"Wanna be friends?" He offered a hand to her eagerly and a large childish smile, he met another friend in just the span of a day. It was a fun day for him! "And what's your name?"

Yang Bethlehem

She ignored Lily childish behaviour for now, more focused on the old woman as she gently covered her wounds.

"Wrapping her would be good but one must also cleanse the body properly first." She hesitate at that part as she hadn't much idea of grave keeper duties. Yang suppose at this point, it doesn't matter but duty and obligation forced her too.

"We lack the funds for a proper funeral or a coffin." She said bitterly, though she recuperate that by pointing what she can do. "I-I can handle the funeral rites, though the coffin might be something we'll have to make by hand."

It doesn't sound that bad, at least, not compared to the time where her master asked her to build an extension of a dojo by hand. Literally, when she had to hammer, cut, and dig everything by hand. It was time consuming process and it was already getting close to dark.
Got some free time, posted.

Yang Bethlehem

Yang breathed in and out slowly, her eyes was bloodshot as she idly searched for a stone around and gripped it tightly. Pure focus, strength and martial poured forward and the stone was turned to dust in her fist as she stood back up.

"You could have at least tried to restrained her." Yang muttered, all thoughts of anger gone as she felt nothing but sorrow and regret in not being able to fulfill this woman last wish.

"She's just someone I met earlier today." She quietly answered, her mind unfocused as she placed a hand over the old lady head, closed her eyes and gave a solemn prayer for her in her local dialect words. A sutra of departure, rest and moving on. That's the least she can do so the old lady spirit doesn't roam the earth forever.

"While I did err in my ways, I certainly know when, where and what to speak properly, little moth." Yang finished as she stood up and remarked to Lili. " Our task has ended, but I'm not going to let the woman body be left alone and exposed."

"You all can go to our requester and collect the payment, I'll...bury her with who she wanted to be." Yang made preparation to transport the corpse for a funeral, she'll do it herself if she have to. Transporting the corpse will be a bit of a problem so she turned to the guards. "Is it possible for one of you to escort me or follow me to cemetery, north of Lymeria? I'm afraid it will create more misunderstanding should I bring the corpse by myself..."

Ditzy Stoneclub

@Lmpkio@PaulHaynek[@Silver arrot] ELD @The Irish Tree Magnus

Ditzy looked at the unfolding scene and smile at it, everyone seemed to be having fun as they played with one another.

He still stuck close to Neil side as he continued observing while twirling his bag, giggling from time to time as he found something funny or amusing.

Then when one of the human grabbed the harpy and pulled her close, he shouted words that he recognized that bandits often used.

Ditzy lose his smile slowly and frown in dislike heavily, he twirled his sandbag even faster now and made sure to stay behind that bad man sight. His back was completely exposed to him since no one bothered to look at him and was too engrossed with the two large dragon ladies.

When the twirling of his sandbag reached the strongest, that wind can be felt from it, Ditzy steadily took his time to aim his sandbag at his knee.

Like a thunderbolt, Ditzy took his heavy sandbag and let it go at its apex of its turn. All the momentum, strength and speed was added as Ditzy followed his father instruction clearly, twisting and turning his hips, legs, and foot all together to the throw.

The sandbag flew like an arrow, and lodged itself right onto the back of the bad man knee. Just in the same moment Titanica tail would swipe the pistol off, unbeknownst to Ditzy.

Its impact would send the leader to his knees and fall down, the damage would not be fatal or wounding but the impact alone was strong to force it to bend forward.
I'm busy this week, quite busy. Prob won't be able to post, sry.

Yang Bethlehem

Yang sighed as she headed back to the old church, the day slowly passed into night and they finally arrived to their destination.

The bonfire was a surprised, and seeing four other figures there, she raised an eyebrow but nonetheless approached them to get to the bottom of things.

That's when she caught something at the corner and looked at it, the old woman laid down on the ground but what got her attention was the immense blood that pooled around her.

Yang froze in her track, and it was like the world stilled for a moment. The heat of the bonfire was gone was the chill in the air felt like a biting frozen wind, she could do nothing but stare at the sight for a while.

"Small moth, be quiet." Yang said to Lily coldly, not even caring about proper ethics as she walked past the guards and knelt over the old lady. Her heart beat furiously, a stark contrast to just how cold she was right now.

Her hand laid on the old lady neck, confirming indeed that she was dead even if the apparent blood loss made it obvious.

She died.

"W-Was she like this when you arrived?" Yang inquired, not to anyone in particular but her eyes twitched fiercely. Every part of her restrained from just lashing out immediately, her focus was at its peak and the cold blood begun to boil within her.

Ditzy Stoneclub

"Haha, yup! But they probably didn't have anyone to play with. My tribe have a few male, so we got plenty of playmates." Ditzy answered honestly as he twirled the sandbag around, occasionally causing him to be carried by its momentum and he followed suit. Leading to a few times of him tumbling to the ground and he got up. "But they're nice, can I play with them next time?"

He asked Neil innocently, since he was the elder one.

Neil probably doesn't want to play, ah well, I'll play with them. Maybe they'll play sandbag with him too!

That was when Ditzy heard the roar, and winced at that as he followed Neil who had moved quickly. It took some effort keeping up but soon, he reached his destination and looked at the guild house for the source.

Oh, that's a tall lady. Ditzy watched in awe as he looked at the large lady with a reptilian tail, he thought it was one of those lizardwomen.

That's when he looked at the house and saw other presences, he lit up with a smile as he excitedly pointed to the roof.

"Look! Look! Is there a party going!?" Ditzy directed their attention to the new figures, more so after the fire breathing display as that got him more worked up. "That's so fun! Come on, let's go and join the fun!"
Yang Bethlehem

"Why did you..do that Miss Yang?"

"I couldn't figure another way, and I tried the other way, my apologies." Yang said with resignation, she herself tried everything and unfortunately, she lacked the oratory skill her master has.

Lily meanwhile was moving herself so she was in front of Maria and Rebecca, Her hand on the hilt of her sword getting ready for a fight. She didn't have to do much fighting because Yang had knocked them all out, "Well it looks like we are in tribulatione, Good job human"

"Yeah, I know, I'll turn myself in after I explained everything to Guild master Bart." Yang echoed her sentiment, her eyebrows lowered alongside with her shoulders. One of her hand rested on her temple as she was hunched over with the troubles she'll be facing.

"Well, Yang," Rebecca started, "The Woman completely vanished. I have been wondering about this, and it might seem crazy, but I have a feeling that the Lady wouldn't mind too much that her husband is dead. In fact, I think she is also dead. I mean, it is awfully queer that an elderly woman wishes to marry a man who died almost one score years ago, in a church that has been derelict for about as long. No thought has been given to wedding preparations, there are no guests..."

Yang bit the lower end of her lips, and closed her eyes. Fist tightened, her muscles tensed and chest beat rapidly.

Then taking a deep breathe and exhaling slowly, she let all of those frustration go and rubbed the back of her head.

"Well, I...I kind of expected it, old woman, no one concerned about her, in an abandoned place and waiting for someone? The signs was there." Yang muttered, it was not the first time she had done exorcism or placating the restless spirit but those were never her forte. It was far more complicated and at times, no real solutions to it.

But, they had a job to do and do it they shall.

"Nevertheless, we have to inform her and hopefully, she accepts it peacefully. I know a few sutra verse and chants to put a spirit to rest but I'm not proficient enough should she...not accept it." Yang shamefully admitted as she tapped her foot anxiously, she had placed physical power first. Now she wished she had paid more attention to some of the more delicate things a monk do.

"What I was taught is to either move her corpse to the same location as the person she seeks, but with the time left, I doubt we can exhume her remains, transport it to Lymeria, and rebury her without suspicion or trouble." Yang motioned her hands as she explained what the modus operandi normally was for her. Instead, she turned to Rebecca for advice as she's unfamiliar with this land tradition and methods. "I'm not sure if that works here, Lady Rebecca, you're the more experienced priestess here. What are your suggestions?"

"I'm not afraid if I have to face the old lady alone and placate her." She firmly said with a thumb pointed to herself.
I'm really not feeling the current arcs. If it were possible to basically drop out and come back in the next IC day, I'd honestly do that.

Maybe you could send your char back? I don't mind continuing the assigned quest on my own.
