Sooo...

Yeah. This is happening.

Oh, no! It happened too fast! This is like @Nightrunner's first date all over again.

Okay. Raining so no roofing today. Got done most of what I needed to for today, aside from D&D later this evening. Going to try and use this time to catch up on the IC and begin a post. Depending on what happens in this GM post that I didn't read yet, I may adjust my plans for BD accordingly and ramp up his first vigilantism act.
I just got done killing two gods - Orcus and Tiamat, separately, the latter with the aid of the Wand of Orcus taken from the corpse of the former. Fun times.

In other news, it is supposed to thunderstorm tomorrow. No promises that it will, but should it that'll afford me some time to write.

Hmm. So izzat the Curse of Strahd? Or Sthraid? Sthraid Prime? I feel like I'm trying to pronounce Cthulhu when I'm just trying to incorporate a sound from each of your usernames into a single word.

Go home, you're drunk. And you're underage.
Wait, I lied. Tomorrow is Monday. I have D&D tomorrow and Tuesday. Guess I'm writing it all Wednesday, then. Or trying to.

Saying nothing isn't an option when fifteen people on the roster are a week behind, heading into the two week limit. That's over half the roster.

I do understand the real life obligations getting in the way argument in regards to posting. I do, and have been on the receiving end many times. And with sufficient cause and forewarning that things might be a bit sparse, I'm more than ready to let things slide - @Retired, for instance, said that he has to re-roof his house.

But one post in a span of fourteen days is all it takes. It's not really alot to ask of those who haven't said much, if anything.

I'll work on a post tomorrow evening. Probably won't finish as I'll be exhausted from another 10-12 hours in the sun stripping and hammering in shingles, but I'll at least start it so I can hopefully get a post up by Wednesday.

Especially knowing you've got some apparently IC events coming up soon to unleash upon us, so I want to get BD at least dipping his toes into vigilantism before then. I'll probably be too slow, though lol.

Editors are for professionals. We are sure as shit not professionals.

Speak for yourself.
In the long run, we're all dead. And in the long run, no one is going to give a fuck whether we've been a bit timey-wimey with our posts so long as said posts tell a good story.

I'll take timey-wimey posts over ideas that have been plotted out second-by-second that never see the page every single day of the week.

Or, just a thought. And this may be wild and crazy, but bear with me.
We focus on the short term, don't plot out every single aspect of each post a year in advance like you said, and also just toss a date on there to keep some semblance of continuity moving forward. Especially if, in season two, @Master Bruce gives a hard start and finish dates to go by. Times aren't necessarily needed, but a date, at least, is always nice to make sure things gel together and we don't end up all crossing the streams.

In open-world sandbox games that have various moving pieces, I find that to be the best way to maintain cohesion without future finagling.
If this were a structured RP with a handful of players, I wouldn't date my posts, either.

Not suggesting that this should be a mandatory rule by any mean, you all do what you want. But the whole "in the long run it doesn't matter so let's embrace timey-wimey narrative" seems odd to me. There are some things where stating in the long run it won't matter applies well, but I don't think this is one of them.
We're losing the good fight, Mike. They're all converting to no dates.
Update on things over here. I forget exactly what I said last time, but I'm basically reroofing and fixing my house at the moment. Right now, I'm up there from 7am until 8pm, just about, with small breaks in between, plus lunch. Then, of course, dinner and needing to sleep early to get back up there the next morning. As such, haven't had enough time to sit down and write any more posts. If the weather report is to be believed, I'll have rain here Tuesday and Wednesday this week, and along with other things I'll need to sit down and make up, I want to see if that'll be a good time for me to write out at least one post. Otherwise, just the roofing alone is looking to take two weeks, if all goes well.

Just want to make sure @Master Bruce, @Byrd Man, and @Morden Man are aware of this so my dramatically lessened activity in the OOC doesn't appear to be disinterest or lack of motivation. Regardless, even if it is something short that I expand on later, I will at the very least get a single post up prior to the two week deadline.

Also, because of this slowing down my posting until everything is completed here, I will likely end up having more time pass inbetween 'arcs' (even though I don't really do typical arcs like everyone else) so as to stay roughly parallel with everyone else. I was already going to have little skips of a week here and there, so I'll just stretch that out as needed.
Watch out with that kind of talk, you'll have Gowi applying as the Powerpuff Girls again soon.
