Message Sep and see if something can be worked out. That's step one before any complete reorganization of plans.
So, I woke up right now to another foot of snow and a downed power line across my driveway. My post will be delayed.

But @Redcord is accepted.
The idea behind having regular mini-events is that not everyone needs to respond to every one that gets posted. Most can be solved with just two or three players' involvement. So if the first one doesn't strike your fancy or suit your character, the next one might.

I'll be getting my own first Spidey post up tomorrow. I believe tomorrow will also mark the next 48 hours since a sheet was completed, so if all goes well we should have another member for the roster.
You all heard the man. Sep says there's no mini-event this week. Pack it up, boys.
As a poll:

Would you rather the first mini-event involve an enemy to battle, or be a non-physical emergency that requires creative thinking?
@Mintz is accepted. As soon as you handle what was discussed in the PM I sent, you can add your sheet to the Character Tab.

And, with that, I believe that's all currently submitted applications that have samples. Those of you who have concepts without samples, you still have plenty of time to do so.
Aaaaand @Master Bruce is accepted.
@Retired Would it be okay if I incorporate The Big Man into Domino's history. Not actually him, obviously, but his connection to streeg gangs and small time criminals?

You can. Right now he's only made moves in the last month, so it's just whispers from among the street gangs of this "Big Man" taking charge. No details about him or if he's even real.
A quick rundown of the NYC organized crime scene:

As has been stated multiple times, the Maggia has been the dominant force for a century. They have multiple families within the Maggia, all of whom fell under the control of Silvermane. With his death, the heads of these families are scrambling for control behind one anothers' backs, while also trying to strategize as a whole how to confront the growing vigilante problem in their city. They have utilized very classic means in their operations throughout the years, and have prior to the start of the RP not entered into the superhuman arms race.

The Tinkerer is a black market provider of highly advanced technology. He is infamous among the underground and is an incredibly paranoid individual who ensures the location of his organization is never revealed. While he has in the past been seemingly been in the game only for the money, he has begun to make moves indicating his intentions to play a more commanding role in the NYC underbelly.

The Big Man. An unknown entity and newcomer who has only entered the scene following the death of Silvermane. The Big Man works in the shadows, never revealing their identity. They have spent the last month organizing the various street gangs and small-time criminals under his singular leadership with surprising speed and success.

The Kingpin. I'm not declaring any canon for Fisk, as I'm choosing to leave that entirely in the hands of those who intend to NPC him. However, he's obviously going to be a big player in the coming NYC gang war.
Thank you, everyone, for your patience. I know some of you have been waiting since the interest check first went up, but the time is now.

The IC is open, and the first season of Age of Marvels has begun.

Enjoy.

The first mini-event will go live this coming week, and I intend to have at least one active every two weeks or so after that.
