Kerry had just emerged from the temple when-

WOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSH!

"WHOA!", she exclaimed, the passing blur leaving windy trails that had the hornet spinning in place. Eula, who had also exited the temple, witnessed the event as well before going after the blur. Luckily for the hornet, her fast eyes managed to catch a glimpse of the being.

It was the pink haired woman again. From when Alice and Carroll accidentally fused.

Shit, does that mean...., Kerry thought with increasing worry as she looked to the woods, where the woman shot off to. Before fear gripped her heart, however, she shook her head to chase away those doubts and took a deep breath. No....No, that's not it. If she appeared again, then that means Alice and Carroll did it on purpose. In the hopes of gaining some form of control over that form, most likely. I....can trust them not to overdo it...

Kerry turned forward, managing to take a few steps before stopping, a deadpanned expression on her face.

Oh, who am I kidding? This is Alice and Carroll we're talking about here.

With an about face, she flew into the forest, following the same path Eula took. A few seconds later and....

"Why am I not surprised?

There was Eula...carrying an exhausted Carroll in the crux of her arm with an knocked-out Alice slung over the automaton's shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

"sigh....Here. You're carrying your idiot. Let me take mine.", Kerry said, walking over to Eula to transfer the mad hatter to her own shoulder. "This dumbass just earned herself a few extra bites for this stunt..."

She looked over to Eula, smirking.

".....But they're our dumbasses."

Aventon - Town Square

“Your… Frankenstein? A… Servant Berserker? Or is that a servant who is also a Berserker?”

Fran nodded her head at the first two questions before shaking her head negatively at the third. A Servant is what she is, not an occupation, though wouldn't fault Rayne for thinking that. It only further confirmed her budding suspicions about the current situation. Then Ranye, in span of a few seconds, set up a table and two chairs for them to carry on their conversation. The berserker smiled and nodded in thanks as she took seat.

“There we go, now I’m sure you have questions, so ask away. We have time and we’re not in any danger. Anymore anyway. We already ran off the people who did this.”

Well, that explained why the town looked the way it did when she first fell down here.

"Hmmm...", Fran pondered, finger on her chin as she asked her first question. "Are....the....re....oth....ers....like....us?"

Aventon - Town Square

“Hi, hello. I’m Rayne, Witch Knight, and, I hope, a friend. What’s your name?”

Fran tilted her head in curiosity as this person, Rayne they called themselves, conversed with her. They also called themself a Witch Knight, which....was quite accurate, considering her appearance. This woman was clearly a mage of some kind, what with her floating and all, though Fran could tell that she was not her Master, as she did not sense the usual Master-Servant connection that happens when a contract is made upon a summoning. The berserker also noticed that she had absolutely zero information about the world she was in. Usually, upon being summoned for a Holy Grail War, said Holy Grail provides Servants with a basic summary about the current era and state of the world they are summoned into to get them up to speed on the times. The fact that she didn't confirmed one thing:

There was no Holy Grail in this land. So.....what was she doing here?

To bring "salvation" that this "Lavielle" spoke of? And then there's Rayne, who looked so different from the rest of the people in the town square that she had to not be from around here. Was she too summoned here, as well? Are there others like her here? How many?

Questions upon questions that Fran figured she wasn't going to get answers to anytime soon. Those will come for a later time, then. For now...

"Fran.....ken....stein.", Fran answered, to the best her Madness Enchantment afflicted self can muster. "Ser.....vant.....Ber....ser.....ker."

Beyond Time and Space - The Throne of Heroes

It was always strange when a Heroic Spirit returned to the Throne. Floating around in the seemingly endless void, only decorated by odd azure streams of light and dots of the same color that shined like stars in the night sky, there wasn't anything to do, really. Nothing but waiting for the next call from the Holy Grail. The next summoning from a Magus, eager to participate in the Holy Grail War for a chance to seize the coveted wish-granting chalice.

Honestly for the Berserker, a nice change of pace was needed. Like the last Grail War she was in.

Sure, the goal was the same, but she and her Master were fighting alongside six other Servants and Masters against another team of Servants and Masters. Pretty sure that's not how it usually goes, but what does she know? She was there to fight for her Master for a chance to get a wish......or die trying like she did.

Still, as Fran smiled fondly, she liked Caules. The boy could use some confidence but he was kind. She really hoped he lived through that Grail War. She then pouted as she recalled her fight with the Saber of Red. That knight was very strong, but also rude and mean. And the Rider of Black? Ugh. So annoying. Always disturbing her when she was picking flowers. She hopes the next Grail War she is summoned to doesn't have that pink-haired fool in it as we-

"Heroes from beyond the rift, I beseech thee..."

Huh?

Fran swiveled her head in all directions, trying to locate the voice in the void, but she was unable to. The voice felt like it was everywhere. This....shouldn't even be possible, what with how far removed the Throne was from time and space. What is going on here?

"...take up arms and bring forth salvation—if not in the name of Lavielle, then of your own————!"

Before she could contemplate on what that even meant, she suddenly started falling. Actually falling.

"Ah!", Fran yelped at the abrupt descent. However, it was not long into her fall that a shining white light appeared below her and was rapidly approaching. Soon, the light became too bright and Fran closed her eyes and raised her arms to shield herself as the light completely engulfed her.

A second later, she disappeared without a trace...

Aventon - Town Square

As the surviving villagers went about their day scavenging and surveying the damage to their homes, none of them noticed the shining white light briefly appearing over their town.

But they did notice, or rather heard, was the one that came through said light.

"-aaaaaaAAAAAAAAAH!"

A loud crash echoed throughout the town's central hub, kicking up a dust cloud and sending the surrounding villagers scrambling for safety, fearing another Raven Herald attack. After a tense few seconds, no attack had occurred and people slowly came out to investigate, only to see a strange sight coming out of a small newly made crater: A strange peach-haired girl with bangs that covered her eyes wearing what looked to be a wedding dress. The prongs and horn that adorned her head made her look all the odder as she stumbled out into the open, coughing.

"*koff*...*koff*....Uuuugh.", Fran muttered, shaking her head as she recovered from her fall. Not damaged, thankfully, just knocked her sense of balance for a loop. Upon regaining her footing and senses, she then noticed the people staring at her. The berserker can guess why.

"Ummm....H-Hi?", she announced, complete with a small, unsure wave of her hand.
@Izurich

How dare you insult Fran like that, sir! I won't stand for it!

.....True, though it may be.

"Hmph. Sounds like the locals are finally starting to believe.", Kerry commented as she soaked in the warm springs, hand caressing her stomach. "There's light on the horizon, Gywn. It's starting to look up for us..."

Still....as time passed, her hopeful smile withered into a concerned frown as Revuel's words of caution haunted her mind.

"Staying? Madam Kerry, you do realize this whole island is a warzone, right? Places like this Terauchi Temple are safe most of the time, but it is hardly a home for you and your family."

"Not to mention that you, yourself, the bearer of the child, will also be in danger. A hit to your stomach can do irreparable damage to your unborn."

"You don't think I know that, dude?, said the hornet out loud, leaning her head back with a hand over her eyes as she vented out the fear and anxiety she's been holding on to since finding out she was pregnant. "It was so much easier when all I had to worry about was myself. But now? With this war raging and, if liberating Komatsu Bay is successful, battles are going to get harder and more dangerous. I know the risks, dammit. I know that every time I step onto the battlefield, if I'm not on the ball......If I don't bring my A-game....If I make one errant step or slip-up, it won't just be my life that's lost. I'll lose.....I-I'll lose....."

Kerry stifled a sob as she took a deep, shuddering breath. She couldn't finish that sentence. Didn't want to. And for a few silent seconds, wondered if it wasn't so bad to just go find Alice and convince her to just leave right now.

Then she shook head, clearing away those fear-driven thoughts.

"Just.....relax, Kerry. You're stressing yourself. It's bad for the egg.", she said to herself with chuckle. "Take it one step at a time, one day at a time."

Removing her hand from her eyes, the hornet into the clear sky.

"Besides, if Alice can find hope here, then surely I can."

With that, Kerry closed her eyes, enjoying her time in the springs as she imagined greener days.

Sweet. Adding to the character tab.
@PKMNB0Y

I'm kinda doing both here. It's only when she uses Blasted Tree with Overload that it becomes a suicide hail mary. I made note of it with this sentence:

She suffers damage from this ability and when used with her second Noble Phantasm, it will deal fatal damage to Fran.

Otherwise, regular use of Blasted Tree would just damage Fran to the point of knocking her out. (As you know, it stuns her in the game.)

As for her lack of speech.....I ask that you trust me. How I use Fran lets her get her points across clearly.
