Jeanette 'Mosi' Crane

Location: The Almack's.

β€œNot sure who's the more desperate one here.” Mosi stated emptily without reason since Rutherford had his goals to leave as fast as possible and so he did before he can even hear the first word. He had his sights on Millicent and it seemed nothing short of his early demise would stop him.

What he did afterwards it was enough to cause Mosi's fist from clenching a few times. She disliked how Rutherford acted, all high and mighty just because of some empty title he didn't even earn. That was a man who didn't deserve anything he held, what he deserved was to be beaten with a stick, given a simple bow and arrow and sent to hunt for his own meals. That would show him for the pathetic powerless man he was. Still she turned to Millicent's mother as she spoke to her friend.

β€œWhat a...” Jeanette started to say as Mrs. Wyndham was moving away, but a certain face stood some distance in front of her. It was her own mother and she was glaring daggers at her to keep quiet. She was about to shout out her pretty direct words of explanation of Mrs. Wyndham's being, but she also saw her father who was giving her a certain very specific begging expression to not get into confrontation with anyone right now. She felt so split inside, divided between doing as her biological father whom she viewed as a friend was asking for and just doing what she wanted to do. Finally the answer came in the form of Virginia who started speaking to her.

Mosi simply stood there for a moment.” He deserves no casket if you ask me.” Was her final reply at the ego statement.” He's a pathetic little bug of a person, not even ant or a bee... those insects are working ones. He's nothing sort of a simple festering maggot... He needs no casket.” She added, eyes narrowed under her veil.

β€œI do... you can count on me, friend.” Mosi replied, nodding to Virginia.” We should move in haste though, I fear the pathetic little woman miss Millicent calls mother and the worm would rush things as fast as they can.”

Amelia Payne

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

β€œAlright then, what about tomorrow after our duties are over with?” Amelia asked with a smile, looking at her friend. Frankly with all this snow and cold making the outside nearly impossible to stand for extended periods of time, hanging somewhere indoors was the best thing to do, usually at someplace where there's heating, but covering yourself with bunch of blankets, clothes and so on also worked.

β€œI see, if you stay to help, I will too.” Amelia stated quietly.” I'd prefer to not walk home alone later, besides helping you if so will be fun.” She stated, throwing glances at her friend and around the reception area. Soon enough Riley would go singing again, suddenly she couldn't stop herself from letting a short giggle as for some reason she remembered their talk about overalls and an image of Riley in overalls with makeshift banjo ran though her mind.

β€œFood it is then, lead the way.” She agreed and quickly followed her friend. Food was something she'd enjoy quite a lot right now actually. She didn't eat much in general, but today she had nothing to eat so far. She also grabbed a plate and quickly got in line right after her friend, but Ray got in line before her. She smiled at him and then noticed Victor as Riley greeted him.

β€œHi, Froggy!” Amelia also greeted him with with a big smile. The doctor was one of the not very big in number people she enjoyed and had relatively easy time talking with. He was her friend! Sadly he seemed to be heading out now. She waved at him a little sad. Suddenly a loud thud pulled attention away as she saw Ray fall on the ground. Now that was NOT GOOD. She was about to offer to aid, but then Ryan did and she just felt uncomfortable since he was obviously stronger than him and it would be easier to get Ray up. Instead she just crouched to grab the crutch. It was not much considering, but it was something at least!
Clarice Rosefort

Location: Her room -> Mess Hall

So many things were different, but somehow everything was still exactly the same, even after going all the way to another galaxy. Still bad aliens, undeveloped worlds, civilizations looking out for themselves blinded by arrogance and greed. The only good thing about this was Atlantis. It was the one thing that could fix everything. It was the only thing that tore her away from the shadows of the past and the fact that there were no goa'ulds here. Granted the wraiths were a whole different kind scary...

It's been a few days they've been in Atlantis now, most of the commotion around the rising from the bottom of the ocean had passed. Guard duties were distributed along all military personnel and Clarice woke up from her nice rest after near 18 hours of guard duty. Some outworld teams have already been appointed and interestingly enough for Clarice, she was assigned to lead one of those. Because of the limited people they had, she currently only had 2 people assigned to her, a scientist and another soldier. She could work with that. They even had their first mission in a few hours.

As she left the bed, her eyes glanced across the big wooden looking box that was placed on a nearby table. She was allowed to bring that by SGC, she still wasn't too keen on opening it. It held a lot of bad memories that still haunted her every sleeping moment.

After moving to the bathroom and getting a quick shower, washing teeth and so on, she dressed up in her usual clothing and left the room. Her quarters had quite the nice view over the city. She loved looking at the sights. The moment she stepped outside, people nearly collided with her, they were sure moving to their duties. At the end of the day, this place was good after all. With a smile she headed over to the Mess Hall to have a breakfast before their mission.

Entering the place she quickly moved to grab a tray with food and a glass of water, her eyes glancing to see of empty seats she could use. She noticed a certain familiar face from the files she read last night before going to sleep. It was Cassandra Reed, her scientist. She quickly walked over, the notification for the upcoming assignment to a team should have been delivered by now, but usually they didn't completely introduce everyone until the briefing for the mission. It was up for the team leaders to arrange the rest.

β€œHey, is that seat free?” She asked, pointing at the chair n the other side of the table.” You are Cassandra Reed, right? Seems like we will be working together from now on.” She said with a smile.
@POOHEAD189 worst case we can just go with the barrel/table/anything that they use for support breaks from under their elbows xD
Situation Updates

@Delta44@ONL: This was going to be a rather strange walk for Zara. This vampire child was groping for things that weren't exactly made for this. Granted not like she could get angry at her, considering she was the one who threw her into this condition. Also the woman wasn't exactly unused to this kind of... actions from others so she didn't mind it as much. Besides the child seemed to be having so much fun doing it, might as well let her be calm and not move as much by letting her do as she pleases for the moment.

β€œThank you, Spencey, I put great care into my hair.” Zara admitted with a smile as she was carrying the child vampire around the village somewhere.” I also like yours, though it could use a big brushing up and styling. Want me to do your hair later?” She asked with a smile, noticing they were already near the barracks.” Hey Spencey, I have things to do at the barracks for a little while, need to deliver a message there, you won't mind we go there for a little while, right? I will give you something tasty later as a reward for being so good.” Zara stated as they were nearing the gates of the Barracks only to see someone outside. Someone who had a big hound by the looks of it.

β€œHey, do you know where I can find the guard captain of this place?” Zara asked Guthrie when they were close enough. She did take the time to study the dog more though. Dogs were rare and this one was so big and adorable.

@Sam12435: Situation at the study remains largely unchanged. Inside it's calm, but out by the corridor commotion could be heard as people still run up and down, doing inventory checks, getting into battle gear and so on.

Sala & Vala

Location: Barracks
Interacting With: Vamon, Nevan.

β€œWe... shouldn't have butted in like that.” The witches stated after Guthrie had left, to Vamon's statement. They could vaguely guess what the nature of the problem was earlier by how the warrior looked at the journal. It wasn't unusual for people to not know how to read and write. The witches did only because most magic users at Astaras did and Astaras was pretty much inhabited only by magic users. It was only natural to learn as they needed to study the magic tomes. They regretted getting Guthrie angry though.” We should... apologize later.”

β€œThere's room for improvement, but … this should do indeed. Well we live in caves... closed off cave system. It's not much of surprise though, since Belizarius exile or claim anyone who's not with them to be evil heretics and wenches working for the devils or something...” The witches stated with smiles as the door of the study opened and the captain returned, carrying a big box that was obviously quite heavy, but she seemed to carry it with little to no difficulty, guess all the plate armor carrying pays off.

β€œHere.” Nevan stated, placing the box on the ground nearby. A number of different things could be seen in it from clothes to differently sized flasks.” Clothes for you two, different oils for both alchemy, cooking and even medicine, provisions. My men left another box by the door on the outside that has filled waterskins. 2 for each of you, water will be an issue out there.” The captain was indeed a woman of her word. The witches didn't even wait for Vamon to turn around or get the chance to leave, they just took of their boots and skirts, quickly putting on the trousers and then the boots again.” I see you two are used to the adventuring lifestyle. Good you won't always have time for much modesty oute there.” Nevan smiled, suddenly noting something.” Where's your friend? I needed to give him something personally...”
>_> I still prefer me the big ol mountain. Maybe gods reside up on top of it... -3-
<Snipped quote by bobert778>

As long as no one gets the idea in their head that it's actually that tall. <3

I'mma get an IC post up latter, feel free to post something in the meantime, @Vox.

-3- why doesn't anyone love fantasy logic anymore xD
@Lady Amalthea Who said we will be making the scene now :3 It's a long night.. Rutherford will leave eventually... Unless he tries to sneak his way into Millie's bed cause he's so high and mighty right now... Seriously... just Gosh that character gets on my nerves like nothing before.
Well why don't you start this time around ^^
β€œI see, not a bad description indeed.” Salissa nodded as she listened to the krogan's explanation. It certainly was sound, thought it was a very grim logical one... mixed with bravado. All of that she actually liked in another person to a point actually. She smiled and nodded, glad to have met him actually. Perhaps it was only selected few outside of the krogan race that could rightfully see and appreciate the Reaper war for what ti was.

β€œIt's just I see so many people try to forget it completely. Or deny it... attempt to twist it, to just write it off as one big bad thing that should never be mentioned again or learn from. Like our dear leader when he tried to shout at me for saying how fun the battle on earth was.” Salissa growled in annoyance.” The war shouldn't be denied, it happened and we should accept it, learn from it. The battles were fun... You know my two word description would be 'Cosmic comedy'. Yeah because that what it was, especially when you account for a very specific fact – in the core of all comedy is tragedy. We all got too arrogant and blind to the dangers... Sadly I believe history will repeat again... Look at us humans we are already regressing back to our primitive ways of xenophobia.” She sighed and threw a look at Skarr.” If it wasn't for this mission, I would have left Alliance space in about 3 weeks. Probably head into Asari space and attempt to find one of their justicars. After that my next destination would have been Tuchanka... there are lessons that cannot be learned here...”

She was about to say more when the most bizarre scene happened. Ellis appeared... sort of with Vella... sort of with another asari... kind of.” What the hell have you all been doing?” She asked, rolling her eyes.” Yeah this is the place...” she stated, noting the state of Ellis's suit.” You certainly seem to have had some party going on...”

β€œI hope Ellis here will be in working order by the time we depart...” She stated, throwing a look at Skarr again.” Should we leave these here and head towards the landing pats? I kind of don't want to deal with drunken shenanigans for the moment... actually up for some arm wrestling?” She threw a look at the Krogan.” My arms have been acting up suspiciously as of late, I want to check if they are still at working order. What better way than a simple strength test?”
