I was here two years ago, and totally forgot about it until now. But I'm back, and I'm gonna have my spot in the place-light.
In all seriousness, I'm pretty excited to be back, but I'm a little intimidated, as I was two years ago. A majority of my roleplaying fun has taken place in smaller sub-sections of forums not focused on it. I'm particularly curious about that "Arena" thing. Is that open to everyone, or do you have to have a sort of reputation or cool-kidness to be allowed in?
Maybe I should just take a look around first.
Hm.
That sounds like a good idea.
Yo! What's up?
I'm Cloud. Or well, you can call me whatever. Cloudy, Cloudypoo, Cloudamillion, Clou--... You get it.
Uhhh so about me? Uhm, I'm pretty young, but I'd rather not disclose my age(insecurities and me being weird and whatnot). I've been RPing across multiple platforms for years, but haven't done much of anything like this. If someone wanted to show me the ropes around here, I'd really appreciate it. I don't wanna stumble around like a lost little schoolgirl.
I'm pretty chill. I'm kinda open so if you wanna talk to me to get to know me or RP with me or just hang out, don't hesitate to PM me. I apologize for the briefness of this introduction but it's like 4:40 AM and I just accidentally deleted half of a badass introduction I had typed so I'm a little upset. >:C
As for my specific interests in RP, I like horror stuff, medieval stuff and school stuff, but I can really enjoy any kind of RP. I am very open and willing to try anything. You name it, I'll do it! NSFW, sci-fi, past, future, fantasy, outerspace, animal, children, elders, literally anything I'm down for. ^.^
I hope I fit in around here. Been trying to find a nice crowd to RP with, hopefully this is the place. Been bouncing for wayyyyy too long. Anyway, stopping my rambling. Hope to hear from you all soon, and hope to maybe see you in an RP!

memory alpha is too slow for me, especially if I have anything else loaded on the internet. Also, most other wikis.

There was an alternate Universe story in which they find the Botany Bay and a group of augmented humans aboard it. All of the humans in this universe became augments after Khan won the eugenics wars, and they were intrigued by the thought of unaugmented humans. At least they were until they realized how weak they were and the humans installed a warp drive on the botany bay to escape to alien space.
Also, in cage fight, I'm assuming the obsidian order isn't far behind.
I'm not exactly new, but as I've yet to interact with the forums themselves I figure an introduction is as good a place as any to start.
So hello! I go by Lunicus, and kudos to you if you know the origin of that name without Google's help. I've been roleplaying for a good while, off an on, and I'd consider myself High-Casual to Low-Advanced given the standards of this forum. I enjoy depth and world building greatly, but from what I've seen Advanced posts average upwards of 4 or 5 paragraphs and that's where it loses me. I just don't see how it's conducive to interacting with anyone other than myself and whatever gaggle of NPCs I've cooked up. Detail is fine and good, but there's a point where articulation crosses the border of tedium. Of course, maybe I'm just being unfair to the masters of Advanced roleplaying, since that level of skill yet eludes me.
I suppose the most enjoyment I get out of roleplaying is taking the role of the antagonist. Not to say I don't enjoy being the hero from time to time, but this is simply where I feel I shine. I love the aspects that go into the creation of a meaningful villain, from constructing the elements which humanize them to the ones which dehumanize them. I know I'm destined to lose in the end, but as someone at some point said: "Life is a journey, not a destination." I may be taking that quote out of context, but really... that's how roleplaying works. We all know how it ends, or at least we have a vague notion. What's important is making the journey a meaningful one, which is precisely what a good villain should do.
Anywho, to wrap things up, I'm happy to meet you all and I hope to get back into the swing of things real soon!

Oh boy, we're starting Gambit? I was imagining Remy being the last one, ha.
I don't mind, though.
