I just finished The Secret History, a very Gen X book. Never Let Me Go before that, which I'd recommend to any writer outside the MFA atmosphere who wants to know emotonal restraint.

Fucking A, I've been waiting for one of these to pop up again. Let's hope it gets off the ground this time. In order to try and help along with the aforementioned DAUNTING task, I've gone ahead and created a single character rather than an entire house this time, as it's easier to get off the ground.
Posted the sheet in the CS part of the thread (still getting used to this new (for me) forum format, hope I was supposed to post it there?). It's WIP in the sense that I'm not sure if it fits with canon definitions, specifically in the case of Lys. I hope it does, but if it doesn't I'll obviously fix and rewrite it accordingly. Other than that, it's complete.

It's a good idea. You can do it a lot of different ways, too. Wait a bit until you find a house/player you'd like to collaborate with, or pick a place you want to play at IC (King's Landing, the Reach, etc) and pick that way.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do now for a character, since my initial character idea was a Street Sam, and I don't really like doubling down with classes. Not super keen on doing a Mage or a Shaman, but I suppose I could give it a shot if need be.
So yeah, gotta love conundrums like that.
Apply for whichever you'd have more fun with, regardless of outside influence.
