Herculean Academy, The Top School for Aspiring Superheroes: Prologue

The new post WILL be out today. I'm almost finished with it. It might not be my best piece of writing ever, but it WILL be out today.

I'm sorry to keep you guys waiting for so long, but hopefully we can get back to things as normal.

So, just in case you are wondering, we're moving everyone to the cafeteria for now. Food, hanging out a bit more, and stuff like that. After that, i think we're ending the day and doing another little time skip to move the plot forward a bit. Possibly, just to the first day of classes and a little event in each of the teachers class. Don't entirely know that yet, but for now just get to the cafeteria and hang out a bit :D

After the students found their rooms, they were allowed a few minutes to get to know each other. Alexis just spent most of the time listening to Kitty and Aspen talk among themselves. Alexis wasn't exactly the most sociable of people, even on her best days when she wasn't being a total sarcastic ass to most. The only reason she was even being nice to Kitty was...well, pokemon and puns, really. Aspen? Well, she couldn't really get a feel for the girl, other than her usual vibe for people, which was pretty much, 'I don't like you leave me alone.'

Still...she wasn't gonna be mean unless the girl annoyed her. She'd at least try to keep herself in check. Probably. Unless she saw that skank from the tram. She still wanted to beat her face in. She wondered where her room was? maybe she'd sneak in there one night and mess with her...kek. That'd be a riot. Oh well, onto more pressing concerns. Like food. Oh dear god she was hungry and so glad the teachers were letting them finally eat. How long had it been anyways? At least a few hours had passed from the time they stepped off the tram until they were being ushered into the cafeteria.

While following the other students, Alexis took note of a few other teachers, making sure everything was being kept nice and orderly, no doubt hoping to keep any more incidents from happening. A few of them she recognized from earlier. She thought she saw that one teacher - Meredith pretending to be all sneaky and going in a room marked 'kitchens'. It caused her to question whether or not she had to pretend to be sneaky at all, since she was a teacher supposedly, but from the way Meredith behaved earlier...making sense was probably not one of her strong suits.

after she finally was able to get into the Cafeteria, she was pleasantly surprised. It didn't look much different from a normal middle or hisghchool lunchroom. Well, aside from the obvious standard issue government stuff. Totally boring and plain. Oh well. Maybe she'd find Kitty - who she conveniently got separated from and sit with her. Maybe Graham. Or maybe she could find that tall chick and-

...brain...just stop please.

She sighed. Well, might as well get some food.

Just a little further...

"Annnnd open sesame!" The door to the store room opened. One of the kitchen staff gave Meredith a disbelieving look. She must have been quite the sight, back against the wall like she was being some super secret ninja. She pressed a finger to her mouth before speaking to him.

"shhhh. Nin nin." With that, she leaped into the store room, closing the door being her. The cook simply stood there, dumbfounded by what he had just witnessed, before leaping into action.

"Oi, open this door!" Apparently, he probably thought she was a student. Oh well, not really a problem.

"Noooo!~" She giggled quite loudly. "I will not let the food in here go to waste!" She blocked the door quickly, using a conveniently placed heavy box full of packaged food of some sort. She didn't care. Right now, she cared about the feast before her.

"Hahahah! Finally I've done it! All of this glorious food will be mine!" With that, she set about raiding the shelves, cabinets and everything else she could get her mits on. They had prevented her from coming here for obvious reasons before, but now, after that incident, was the best time for her to get in here! Of course, she'd probably be reprimanded heavily for this, but...who cares. Food trumps all. She could hear the cook on the other side of the door shouting something about some student locking themselves in the kitchen stores. Kek. Noob.

I think I might have an idea for a chacter. How would you feel about a Hotline Miami-inspired hitman with superhuman reflexes and speed?

I also have a plan B should this not fit what you had in mind.

Well, our characters should get along well, if that's what you're going for, since she was gonna be a hitman/mob enforcer or whatever too xP
Either that, or they'd hate each other and be rivals or something. That'd be fun.

...still not entirely set on that idea though. Might just make her a normal little troublemaker xP
