Those are many of the thoughts I tried to put into my only slater oc. They really just sort of drop Wendy's buffing magic and I was always sad about that and by the fact we never again see other dragon slayers with super unique ability. Hence why I made a sea dragon slayer who has de-buffing spells.

I also made her a second generation with no contact with dragons so she'd have to struggle to learn how to fight and use her offensive magic. Especially as I picture aquatic dragons being far different in style to traditional/flying dragons. It one of the reasons she struggles with her offensive spells, she's trying to think and fight like the very traditional image of a dragon when her magic should be more like a sea serpent.

Well obviously her and Ceri need to train together and have a bunch of 'bonding' moments so I can ship them even more xp

I used to be really into them but really when you look at them they're just generic "fighting manga" characters most of the time. They have an element, but all they do is literally hit stuff with it or do a big DBZ blast. If the character themselves isn't interesting their powersets don't really make up for it. I honestly think it's much more interesting if a character has an oddly specific or weak-seeming power, maybe with different conditions for its use, that they have to figure out strategically. Things like Jojo or Hunter x Hunter.

Or a weak power that gets stronger with actual development of the character. I pretty much just made another Elfman, but he'll have to put effort into hunting down the monsters and learning how to best use their abilities to get stronger.

Oh yes, definitely. That's why I made Ceri.

Smoke magic can be very strong in the right hands I think, especially since she can control it freely. Like the density of it, for example. She can't make it hard as a brick, but she can still condense small amounts of it it to the point where it becomes something you can touch, just a tiny bit. Not to mention the other possible things she could do with it, such as giving it different properties, (Making a flammable smoke for example to support a fire mage).

That said, If done right, I think a God/Devil slayer can be very interesting if you have an interesting element/ability for it. I would have loved for my second character to have been a Devil Slayer, but a standard set 'Magma Magic' works as well. It would awesome for it, considering what it is. I gave her the title 'Demon of Cinder' for a reason xD

But well, you'll see once/if I ever get to use her xD

But well, this is fairy tail. Slapping someone with a fistful of fire is standard. I just don't think everyone should be running around, or even considering Slayer types, when we already potentially have three. They are supposed to be rare, after all.

Maybe later down the road, but...at the start? Ehh....

Announcement people!

So as to not keep people like @Musoka waiting any longer for the Eraser sequence to finish, and for people like @Thanatos and the incoming @Kimiyosis, tomorrow we will be moving on to the next day, regardless of whether the Eraser sequences have been finished or not. Cause some of us are kind of careless sometimes (I'm looking at you, me).

The next day will be a fairly normal day. People will get to know each other and new character will be introduced. So look forward to that.

Mhm...the only reason I offered to make my other character into a slayer was to balance out the guilds...guess we don't need that any more, though. At least not at the moment.

And don't worry Klisa. I won't abandon Ceri. This is a ship that will happen!

I want my second character to whoop all of the guys in the guilds butt. I honestly kind of want to use her more than I do Ceri at the moment xD

I'll be over here planning on how my second character can make her...explosive...entrance once I get to use her.

...I kinda hope we don't get many more slayers, though, honestly. they are supposed to be kind of...rare.
