Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

I wouldn't say hindering, more like creating more tension and drama. For me at least, RP's become stale if there isn't some sort of drama/tension to keep it fresh. So yeah, I typically create difficult plot lines for my characters as they move toward a predestined goal to keep the RP interesting along the way! :)

I'd imagine traveling with Ace similar to traveling with Toph from Avatar: a manipulative, sarcastic, stubborn and somewhat confrontational person who is carefree and adventurous to those whom get to know him! He is definitely one of my more 3-dimensional characters in terms of complex personality.

Well. Since Lynnette's gonna basically be traveling with Savo's Character no matter what...I meant hinder as in Lynnette will do everything in her power to actually, and actively hinder their progress. As in, she might steal, manipulate them into fighting, or even encourage them to do something not so nice themselves.

So yeah. She's...as I said, 100% pure evil. Probably~
Of course, assuming she doesn't get lynched if her shenanigans get found out~

@Savo@MissFortune

Hey, if you want to team up with someone that's only going to be hindering your characters, then go for it~ xD

For everyone else. Lucy is up for grabs if you wanna travel with her~

~Lucile Geroux, Pokemon Sanctuary~

It was a rather lovely morning, really. A fun morning. The girl known as Lucile Geroux, stood quietly towards the back of the room as the professor gave her address to the crowd, only half listening to it. She was here for one thing and one thing only, and listening to the droning of some old professor wasn't it. Wasn't like anything important was being said anyways. Blah blah boring technobabble blah blah. Really, if that's all she was talking about she had no reason to be here. So the white jacketed girl waited for the doors to the sanctuary to open, and when they did she was one of the first ones inside.

She seemed thoroughly unimpressed with the Sanctuary, despite how beautiful or grand it seemed to the other trainers. Lucy simply shoved past the crowds and people, and made an effort to be as alone as possible for the moment. She had no desire to be caught around in a large crowd. Multiple reasons, but it was mostly because it would have been easier to find the pokemon she wanted if she was alone. What pokemon was that? Well, unlike other trainers who might have wanted something like some silly looking larvitar or other strong pokemon, she wanted something with a bit more...elegance.

A Purrloin.

Admittedly, she also wanted one because its fur was just so, so, exquisitely soft and she wanted to cuddle it so much, but details, details. Eventually the girl managed to get far enough away from everyone else that she was comfortable that she could begin her search for the cat pokemon in earnest. Didn't want another trainer to ruin her chances at getting what she wanted, either. Though she supposed she could always run them off easily enough. The thought made her smile a little. Now, where could she find a Purrloin?

With her goal in mind, she set off deeper into the sanctuary, intending on finding one.

~Lynnette Crawford, Pokemon Sanctuary~

The quiet tune being sung by the brown haired girl in the back went almost unheard by everyone else. Unlike most of the friendly trainers here who were busy conversing or otherwise finding their pokemon, there was one trainer who was doing neither. She was dressed in a fancy black dress, with black stockings. Her skin was almost a ghostly shade of white, with light brown hair and amber colored eyes. On the side of her head...was resting an odd looking golden mask. The mask of which, bared an uncanny, almost eerie resemblance to the girls own. The smile on her face was the only difference. It was the type of condescending smirk that simply said 'you, are an idiot, do not speak to me', which meant it was no small wonder that most people had avoided the girl up until now.

As soon as the sanctuary opened, most people moved past her, almost like they didn't see her at all. No surprise there really, she didn't make an effort to get seen or cause a fuss at the moment. She had one thing she wanted to do right now, and that was get inside the sanctuary and capture her dearest little Khata. After all, they had been planning this little game for awhile now, and it would be a shame to miss it. They might not get another chance to officially become a pokemon trainer, since her parents at home adamantly refused her access to a trainer licenses and trainer card, so she had to come here to some foreign region to even be able to do that.

Speaking of Khata, the mask on her head shifted to the other side of her head by itself, in quite the creepy fashion. The poor dear was getting just a little bit restless.

"Tsk, now Khata. Calm yourself. We're almost there, just a few more steps and we'll be ready." She spoke to seemingly no one. "Hmm...you're right. So many funny little trainers here. All so...delicious looking, aren't they? I wonder how many are going to have their dreams crushed?" She hummed to herself, as she took her first step into the sanctuary. She seemingly waited a moment for a reply...before giggling to herself.

"Oh my, Khata. feeling quite mischievous today, aren't we? I Like it." Giggling to herself once again, she pulled a pokeball out of her pocket as the golden mask on her head flew off like some sort of possessed object. Its golden face slowly turned to face the human...before two black arms formed, red eyes staring at the human with an almost gleeful expression of its own. In an instant, Lynnette tossed the pokeball at her companion, capturing it almost within seconds before promptly releasing it once again, the Yamask taking up its position on her head once again.

Now...before she went and registered, she might as well go say hi to her fellow trainers, no? Humming a quiet but somewhat eerie tune to herself, she set off deeper into the sanctuary. Maybe she could find someone fun to play with...

Ever on and on I continue circling, With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony, Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing...

I can already confirm that Alex will probably be traveling with the prankster known as Lynn. I hope his group gets more traveling buddies so he isn't the only one who is subjected to being tormented xP

There's only so much he can take.

You keep saying that.

But when exactly have I said she's gonna travel with him? She'll probably laugh in his face and straight up tell him she finds him appalling, and to get over his creepy crush because she's not gonna reciprocate his feelings xP

But suuuure, if he wants to be besties after that, she'll travel with him~
Go ahead. Gwynn's gonna probably follow at this point. Doesn't have anything else she can do.
Alright, I'll probably be going tomorrow then. Yep, Gwynn seducing Maoin. As expected.

She's not even seriously doing it, and just doing it for giggles. She has zero intentions of actually doing any serious seducing, and is legitimately just doing it to be mean/annoying/get Maoin off her case.
Post is done!~
~Livia Fiore~
~Semester 1, Day 1~

Livia pouted for just a moment at Katherine, though said nothing as she interfered with her flirting with Lunalel. Ah well, she'd just have to show Katherine just how much she had offended her later, heh. There had been this thing she had been wanting to try for some time, and she knew exactly how to get Katherine for some alone time. Thoughts for later though. For now focus on this cute little Lunalel, and how to get some alone time with her.

"Oh please, call me Livia dear." She smiled at the knight as she passed. "And if you need anything at all, do stop by my office. It's always open." With that though, she turned and walked after Katherine. Her favorite, precious little student wasn't about to get out of this so easily. Oh no, no, she had something she had to discuss with her after all. The headmistress easily caught up with her, after all. She wasn't exactly hard to find in a crowd.

As soon as she approached her from behind.

She gave her a swift, but discreet smack on her butt. She spoke in a low voice, obviously not intending for anyone else to hear her.

"My, my dear little Katherine bringing such a cute thing to me and then taking it out of my grasp. I hope you're ready for some extra curricular lessons after the meeting today." She pulled back to a more acceptable distance, walking alongside the teacher, speaking more formally now that they were indoors.

"I request your presence in my office this afternoon, after the meeting this afternoon, along with Aetheria Gagne. There is something I must discuss with the two of you in private, as I believe the two of you are the most capable for the task. Until then, go about your day as usual. And if you see a student by the name of Lyssa Nemorienne in your classes today, you are to treat her as royalty and make sure she is comfortable. I do not care how difficult or impossible she is being. I will tell all the important staff why at the meeting this afternoon."

With that, the headmistress left Katherine side, without so much as allowing her to protest or question such an instruction.

~Gwynn Foghlú~

"For someone claiming to want to help the poor you are perfectly content to add hours to your own servant's workload."

Gwynn rolled her eyes at the Neko's comment. She almost snapped at her, but managed to restrain her tongue. Maoin was only doing what she was told, and as much as that annoyed her she didn't deserve to be told off for it. She simply looked at the cat, glowering at her in a childish manner.

"Mistress, you have no idea what your betrothed will be like. And you won't be a mere housewife, you will still have me and other servants to take care of you, and it's very possible that he may encourage some adventurous spirit being in his spouse. It IS the 1430s after all."

Gwynn made a noise that sounded something between a growl and an exasperated groan. The blond Irish girl turned her head away from Maoin in defiance, though she was mulling over the words. She was right, after all. She had no idea who this Swen was, or what he was like. Maybe she should give him a chance. It was bad to judge a book by its cover after all, as her father always liked to say.

"How about this: if you act appropriately in class, let me prepare you for the evening, and give Lord Swen a fair chance...I'll do anything you want tonight. Dancing, singing, games, ANYTHING."

Slowly, the noblewomans head turned towards Maoin, amber eyes furrowed as she looked at the hand that was offered to her. Well...even if she hadn't offered, she couldn't very well sit here forever. After a few moments of staring up at the Neko, Gwynn sighed, defeated. Well, she had offered though so she might as well make the most of this. Gwynn took Maoin's hand, getting off the ground and standing up. As soon as she got on her feet, she positioned herself to stand right in front of Maoin.

"Anything I want, eh?~" Annoyance had been replaced with a playful mischievousness. One of her hands brushed against the Neko's cheek, straightening a loose strand of her hair as she stared straight into the Neko's eyes. "And if I said...I want, you, my cute little Neko?"

This was probably something that Maoin wouldn't be new too. Gwynn routinely teased the familiar in such a manner. It was mostly to throw her off her game and interrupt her when she was trying to get Gwynn to do something she was supposed to be doing. Now though, Gwynn was doingit mostly for giggles.

NOTHING CAN STOP THE POSTS
Well I mean Ray would be weirded out if he's getting his face licked, but he is a fun loving guy. We shall see how things begin. Lots of training on his part though.

xD
Well, that's her intentions so yeeah.

@AbysmalDemon
So, uhm, I have a few more questions regarding how exactly moves work and how battles might be conducted here. As this isn't a game, and in a somewhat more realistic setting, I'm unsure exactly how certain moves would work. For example, how exactly would someone use sand attack indoors? Also, teleport in a realistic setting is a seriously more effective. They don't exactly have to jump back to the pokemon center. They could basically use it to completely avoid an attack.

Apologies for the questions, but with everyone saying showdown is the best thing on the planet, I feel as though creative strategies such as using teleport to dodge an attack if possible, or using an offensive move defensively (as mentioned earlier) aren't exactly going to be welcome here. Everyone seems to be taking EVs and IVs and pokemon stats in general quite seriously, when really a lot of the pokemon metagame is pretty broken and doesn't allow for 'weaker' pokemon to really stand out all that much and means there's too many gimmicky strategies involving items or certain move sets.
