I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio
Hello! Welcome to my little bio.
Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).
Chieko felt her arm being grabbed as the wolf pulled it, obviously intending to make a scene. It definitely hurt - he was strong just as he looked, but she wouldn't be intimidated so easily. She turned, glaring at the wolf defiantly, not intending to back down from this. Honestly, she was in a terrible mood right now a this wolf wasn't helping. As fluffy and adorable as these Demi humans were, and as fun as this fantasy world looked...well. She didn't want to be here. This wolf was definitely not helping.
"I've dealt with bullies like you for the past three or fours years of my life." She coldly replied, that was all she had to say on the matter to prove that she wouldn't be so easily intimidated. That said...perhaps she was being a bit...stubborn here. Who ran into who and who was at fault was Irrelevant, wasn't it? She didn't like this mutt simply from his attitude to be sure, but...she wasn't in the business of not helping someone if they needed it. Maybe that money was important? She didn't know, but she did know that this guy wasn't the nicest of people, it might have been money for something important. So she'd give him a chance. One chance.
"Give me one good reason why I should help a thug like you, and I will. No death isn't a good reason because unless you want to cause a scene with all these people, you won't otherwise, you're an idiot. You've been nothing but impolite, rude, mean, insulting and trying to bully your way to get what you want. I have no desire to help such people. Give me one good reason and apologize, and I will gladly help you." Despite the seeming hostility of her words, her voice was more or less entirely neutral. It carried no anger, annoyance, only complete indifference. It was quiet, barely above a whisper like Grian's.
Wahaha, today had been most fun indeed!~ Of course, a usual day in the life of Tsuiho consisted of mostly fun things. From drinking, to flirting, to playing games, and to the ever so delightful activity of murder! And she had just finished up that last rousing activity quite well. Some sort of merchants son or another. He had begged for his life, the little coward. It took all the fun out of it - hearing his little mouth beg for her not too. Offered to pay her off more than her employer. At least die with dignity or something, really! Besides, she wasn't really into two timing people she worked for. She had a reputation to keep up in the darker circles of the nobility.
Not that that mattered at the moment! The body of the kiddo would likely be found in an hour or so. She had made sure to already vacate the premises and change her clothes to something a bit less conspicuous. She was garbed in her normal attire, and more or less making herself inconspicuous....well, as inconspicuous as running across the rooftops of Lugnica could be. Thankfully no one up here saw her, but she could probably have taken a less inconspicuous route, though it was a good way of getting around without having to deal with the crowded streets below.
Currently, she was sitting on the edge of a building, stretching idly as she enjoyed the feeling of the a gentle breeze blowing through her hair. She always did like high places - offered a good vantage point to be able to plan entrances and other ways into somewhere. She smiled idly, tucking a blade into her robes as she looked a the market street below. A good assassin was always armed, after all. Getting caught off guard was bad, yep yep. Though, even if she was it was mostly in her nature to flee as soon as that happened. With her blessing, it was fairly easy as well - though surprise attacks still proved troublesome if she couldn't react in time. She had been injured once or twice from such sneaky people, but she managed to avoid a lethal blow on all accounts.
Well, enough of that! She should get back to her room in the Crescent Moon Inn. She had to make arrangements to meet another noble that contacted her for her 'services'. He had said it was a pretty high-paying job...and well, she did like money. With a giggle, she leaped off of the roof, across an alleyway.
Or at least, attempted too.
Instead, her foot got caught on the roof.
"Wah~" She squealed in a somewhat disarmingly cute fashion as she tripped, falling over the edge. Thankfully, it was only a story high, meaning the landing should have been easy enough for one as acrobatic as she was...if there wasn't a cute looking girl below. Not that she particularly cared in the long run, but still. It was just bad manners to drop in uninvited, yep. Not like she could help that in this situation.
"Heyyouhumansorrybutgravityisworkingagainstmebutcatchmecatchme!" she blurted out rather quickly as she fell.
@Rune_Alchemist I think you still have me to worry about before thinkong ahead. And you better not underestimate an assassin. He might do kill you. . . . Way to start over better? XD
I am...unsure what you mean? I have a second character xD
I have npcs to my disposal! Or meet ma girl if you want
I was thinking about using them, actually.
starting her off with attempting to assassinate Mr. Kato Kisho, just for funsies. After all, no one likes Tax Collectors and some nobles with some shady tax practices might wanna get rid of a few of them~
that or have her hanging around the Crescent Moon Tavern or Flirting with Kura xD
Suppose she could run into Aya as well - maybe run into her after finishing up a 'job'~ xD
As the doors to the lab finally opened, Claire's head turned from Ren to Kalmia. Nice day for a wait? Pfft, no day was a nice day for a wait. Keeping people waiting was just bad manners. That said, she was too excited thinking about finally getting a pokemon to particularly care. Blah blah something about a pokedex, blah blah, professor oak, blah blah Isson region. Really, it was probably rude to ignore her in such a fashion, but Claire was like a kid in a candy store. She could barely contain her excitement at the moment. However, she was not so out of it that she didn't hear the position of the man in the fancy suit was.
Part of the Elite Four? Claire's head swiftly turned to look at the man in his fancy suit. Well, obviously someone with such a good sense of fashion couldn't be a bad guy, but part of the Elite Four? Now that was something she hadn't expected. What was one of them doing here? Not that it mattered, though she almost wanted to challenge the guy to a battle...as completely foolish as that would be since she'd probably get her fabulous butt whopped hard.
Either way, waiting time was over.
Without waiting for Ren to reply, Claire bolted in. The lab looked...well, like her room did after she spent an hour deciding what to wear if she was going out somewhere. A complete mess then. Several machines Claire didn't recognize hummed with power, doing some sort of...sciency stuff. She was somewhat curious as to what they did, but she was too focused on her objective at the moment to give them more than a passing thought at the moment. She did take note of Jaques entering behind them, though. Everyone seemed to be a little put off by the guy - Kalmia and her Assistant here included.
Huh.
Claire walked up to the desk with the pokeballs where Kalmia was. Right, a pokedex. She mentioned something about that earlier. She couldn't say she was completely behind the idea of completing it. Aside from being a lot of work, she just wasn't really the sciencey type, and such a task was better left to someone who actually wanted to accomplish it. Her goals lied somewhere else - The pokemon League. Well, whatever - she'd complete it as she went along and use it, but it wouldn't be her priority. Besides, she was too focused on the pokeball being handed to her at the moment.
'Feel free to knock the entire region off their seats~!'
"Haha, oh trust me! Isson won't know what hit 'em! I'll put on a show that'll dazzle 'em dead!~" She grinned brightly, accepting the pokedex and pokeball from the professor. "Thanks professor!" That was all that she needed to say, though. After that, she took a few steps to the side, letting whoever was next in line get their pokemon. She looked at the pokedex briefly, wanting to get that out of the way before spending the rest of the day with her adorable new Ralts.
- You've obtained Ralts! -
Pokédex Entry #280 – Ralts, the Feeling Pokémon. The horn on its head can sense emotions, and its own mood will be affected in turn. It will approach positive emotion and its body will warm, while it will shy away from and avoid negativity and hostility. Quite rare to see in nature.
- Would you like to give Ralts a nickname? -
It could sense emotions? Well that was cool. Well, she was a bundle of positive fabulous energy so she shouldn't have any problems getting along with Ralts. More importantly that nickname. She needed an adorable and fabulous name to go with her, but what exactly should that be?...hmm. After a few seconds of thinking, she came up with one quickly deciding that it was the best name for her little Ralts. Now it was time to greet the little pokemon. She pressed the button on the pokeball, the small pokemon appearing at her feet in a flash of red light.
"R-ral...?" The small pokemon seemed somewhat confused at suddenly being released, looking around somewhat confusedly before focusing on the human girl in front of it as she knelt down, giving it a bright grin.
"Aren't you just adorable!~" Claire almost squealed. "Hey hey, the pokedex says you can sense emotions, right? So, what am I feeling right now?" Ralia, the newly named Ralts stared up at the redheaded human for a moment...before breaking out into a little dance. The foot tall pokemon twirled around on its little foot before placing a small hand over its eye, posing in a somewhat dramatic fashion, extending an arm outwards. Claire simply looked down at the pokemon, blinking in surprise.
"That was...almost scarily accurate." Claire laughed, quickly picking up the little pokemon in her arms, hugging the small pokemon with Ralia laughing along with her new trainer and returning it. The pokedex wasn't lying again either, Ralia was quite warm. Claire almost broke out into dance right there with the small pokemon, but there wasn't exactly enough room to move about so she'd refrain for now. Plenty of time for dancing fabulously later.
She wondered what everyone else was up too, or what pokemon they got? She stood, Ralia sitting in her arms as it kicked its legs back and forth, looking at the other trainers present, giving each of them a once over, likely checking their general disposition in the same way it had just done with Claire.
Godmoddig isnt a good thing to do and not accepting some minor actions either. I get that you dont want your character controlled but it is only a fall i mean come on.
Let now all drop this and move on with our lifes with hugs and kisses
I am an evil overlord! I am hatred incarnate! Edgelord of Edginess! I do not just 'kiss people' >:O
...no really. Hugs and kisses aren't my thing. I'll go full tsundere on you guys~ xD
Although it was completely out of character for her to be run into in the first place, I decided to roll with it. So we've moved past it~
