I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio
Hello! Welcome to my little bio.
Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).
After throwing snowballs at everyone that walked out of the dorm, Lyssa made her way into town. She wasn't particularly adverse to the cold, but she still made sure to put on something that was at least somewhat warm. She hoped some of the shops would have something warm and sweet, and preferably, delicious hot chocolate. Did humans even have hot chocolate? She wasn't sure, but that was irrelevant. As she came into town though, she realized just how...empty it looked. Where was everyone, really? It was snowing! They should be building snow forts and having snowball wars!
It was then, she noticed a lone girl waltzing through the middle of the street. Lyssa hadn't recognized her, so she had to have been someone that wasn't attending the school and was at least somewhat new to the area. She should go say hi, shouldn't she? She looked absolutely depressed standing there all alone...
....pfft, where would the fun in that be, though?
Rubbing her hands together with a mischievous giggle, the pink haired demon positioned herself behind a wall of a nearby building and gathered up some snow into her hands...and promptly launched it right at the girl, aimed right for her face.
~Gwynn~
Well, if she wasn't going to wake up so easily...Gwynn sighed. It wasn't cold enough for her to be too put off by it, but Maoin was likely cold. Well, either way she'd need to wake up. Gwynn tried freeing her arm from the kittens' grasp, but for whatever reason she wasn't letting go so easily. Well, Gwynn wasn't going to be staying here all morning, not when it was this cold out. Truthfully, the cold always felt rather refreshing to her, and was always much more welcoming of the cooler months than the summer ones.
With a bit of effort, she sat up, hopefully not disturbing the kitten too much as she pried Maoin off of her. She walked over to the window, curious as to what had smashed into it...only to be greeted with a view of endless white, fields of snow. She pressed her face to the glass, an uncharacteristic girly squeal coming from the blond as she backed away from the window.
"Oh my god its snowing." She didn't care if Maoin was going to stop her or not. She quickly began putting on some warmer clothes suited to being outside when it was cold.
Sorcha
"Nooo...five...more minutes..." The dragon replied, likely still half asleep if her words were anything to go by. At least she didn't try to pull Luna closer to her, though. Instead, she lifted the wing that was covering Luna. It seemed at least, that she would let Luna leave if she wanted too. It would probably be increasingly clear to Luna that Sorcha was anything but a big scary dragon of legend sometimes. It'd probably take a bit more prodding from the knight to wake her completely.
~Livia Fiore
With a sigh, Livia looked over to Fia who seemed to had finished her assigned work. At least Fia was capable enough to make her workload somewhat easier...granted she didn't make any mistakes. She still tended to glance over her work just to make sure. Some of these documents were highly important.
"Hmm...I know the snow is odd this time of year, but perhaps you'd like to go outside and play in it? Most children your age tend to find it quite fun to play in the snow." Livia replied. "Granted...I wasn't one to do such things myself. I was too busy studying or reading....mostly." Aside from more paperwork at least, a meeting or two, and making her usual rounds of the campus she didn't have much else she could give Fia to do this morning, unless she wanted to study some more herself.
Speaking of studying...hmm, she would need to find a pyromancer or something to teach her how to use her abilities properly, perhaps.
Well, I suppose that would depend. While I don't plan on having her summon anything too powerful to start with, I could see her summoning a god of a river or mountain later down the line, or possibly contracting one temporarily if their place of residence was in danger. Such a thing would be dangerous though, and would require a lot of caution on her part, or she's gonna end up dead.
So I suppose the answer is yes, she would probably be able to tell after hanging around her for a bit. I can also see Viola doing just that and helping her put her back together again, just for giggles to see what it'd do.
Also being friends with a god would probably have some pretty nifty perks.
You assume Viola cares about the rules enough to not try and find a way to sneak in, hehe~ But yeah...they could find a third person and chose the boring to be good little students and go on a trip~
I suppose a Graveyard might have a low-level spirit or two hanging about...I am unsure. I'll have to see what sort of undead creatures I can find in mythology~
Suppose I could give her a spooky ghost partner for now.
Seeing Viola is on her 2nd year, Allen is like overly social and they are both journeymen, perhaps would they be more than acquaintances and more like partners in crime or maybe even good friends.
I like the field trip idea. I can imagine their curiosoty and eagerness to study magic would've brought them into troubles. If it's Viola's style, they could've even spar each other once in a while to put what they have studied together into practice.
That's quite possible, but I'm going to have to keep Viola as a Novice for now. Simply put, the only reason she is, is because of a lack of experience. Which also is a reason she wouldn't exactly be one to spar if she had to.
She isn't a mage that can fling fireballs or spew lightning. She has to actively seek out spirits, or has to be in a place where there's one or two of them to be able to fight. Nature spirits tend to shy away from heavily populated areas I'd imagine, and any other form of spirit such as demons and the like are likely too risky to just summon without a good reason. Does this put her at a great disadvantage? Certainly, but she's going to be summoning/directing types of Undine, Ifrit, and other beings said to be close to be low-class deities, so in the long run she's probably going to be pretty dang powerful.
That is, unless she's contracted a spirit, then she'd be capable of using it at any time she wanted. Which is something I am going to probably resolve quite quickly at the start of the RP. She's probably going to ask to sneak into the forest with him. Heh~
Of course, I'm just going off my own speculation here, if the GM says differently, I can definitely work around it~
"Do I know you? No, I don't think so, But do you want to play anyways? No? Waaah? You'll make a little girl cry...That's too bad...I am Viola Rifei, pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Name: Viola Rifei
Age: 17
Gender: female
"Despite my appearance, I am not a child and would appreciate it if you did treat me as one...unless you plan on spoiling me. Then go ahead, hehe~"
Appearance: Standing at four foot seven and usually sporting a slightly mischievous, somewhat knowing seeming smirk, Viola is definitely not what one would call physically impressive. Slender, and lacking any sort of definite muscle. Sometimes, she is mistaken for a child because of her appearance. Her skin is free of any blemishes and markings of any kind. Her eyes are a dark grey color and sports black colored hair that falls well past her shoulders.
Clothing wise, she is a fan of rather complicated and somewhat eccentric and expensive dresses, preferring darker colors such as black, purple, and dark blue. Her current dress is a black dress, with white accents and red bows that falls to her waist where it meets a pair of black stockings and dress shoes. Why she chose to wear those instead of something more suiting is anyone guess. Some assume she's simply the child of a wealthy family and takes very good care of herself and is quite the pampered little brat, and doesn't know any better. She comments she simply likes the style.
Year: 2nd.
Rank: Novice
Room No.: 22-A
Personality: Viola...definitely does not behave the way her appearance might suggest. At first impression, she'd come off as incredibly formal and polite. Talk with her long enough though, and you'll find a somewhat self-centered, cynical, mischievous, somewhat playfully aggressive little girl who has a rather large seeming ego. However, this is just her attempting to be 'cute' or 'cheeky'. Truthfully, she doesn't take her own words to heart, and would never consider herself better than anyone.
After that, she is fairly friendly and likes meeting people and being around people, and also simply likes watching them for...entertainment purposes.
Another thing to note, would be an insatiable curiosity about anything and everything. Magic, history, technology...everything. While her physical skills are lacking, her academic studies and focus on such things likely make her one of the smarter persons in the school.
However, like with everyone, she does have her own vices and sins. Hers, is curiosity and a lust and love of all knowledge, and her rather cynical and logical outlook on life and people, despite her seeming playfulness. She, would do anything for the sake of knowledge, and her curiosity drives her to meddle in quite a number of affairs, especially ones that offer the most entertainment value. For the most part, they are likely to be harmless...but perhaps, it could get everyone into trouble one day.
Magic Discipline:
Spirit Contractor/Summoner
Simply put, Viola is quite in tune with the spiritual forces of the world. Creatures that initially have no corporeal form, or possibly those creatures such as Naiads, Dryads, or Nymphs, she can usually communicate with on some level. This can offer her quite a bit of versatility when it comes to combat and skills, as each spirit offers her a differing set of abilities, usually. She may even 'Contract' a spirit, as in give it a physical form and have it become a permanent partner until she decides to terminate that contract.
Some things to keep in mind though, is that summoning spirits usually takes quite a while, depending on the skill of the summoner and the rank of the spirit. It is also a one time deal, the duration of their help only usually lasting for a brief moment in time, lasting typically anywhere from fifteen to thirty minutes. This can have quite the downside in a direct conflict, since she would require protection of some sort to be able to summon one. The power of the spirit varies, but typically they can be quite devastating against most foes. They may manifest themselves as a separate entity, or merely lend a fraction of their power to Viola for her to command themselves. Another spirit summoner could possibly force the spirit back to wherever it came as well, should they be skilled enough.
Contracting a spirit is entirely different, however. It requires the contractor to make a deal with the spirit, for whatever reason. Upon completion of the contract, the spirit begins living 'with' the mage, typically they start sharing a body, and their power is easily summoned by the mage. The contents of the contract can be anything the spirit or mage desire. This offers quite an advantage over simply summoning one for a duration of time. However, the downside is they are unable to summon another spirit for as long as this contract is taken, and they can only contract one, possibly two at the same time, and its sometimes quite a difficult process and the mage can sometimes get the bad end of the deal if they're not careful and are dealing with a less...nicely inclined spirit.
To contract one, it varies from spirit to spirit. It could be as simple as a binding, verbal agreement, or as bad as a seal signed in blood.
Currently, as a simple Novice she is capable enough. Summoning a spirit typically requires quite a bit of time, though and she would need to be quite careful when contracting a stronger one, and she currently doesn't have one. It is more difficult to forcibly send back a contracted spirit, as by law of the contract they are forbidden from leaving until they terminate the contract.
Equipment: Carries a journal on her, where she keeps up with various spells, rituals, and names of potentially interesting spirits she learned from her master.
Biography: Viola's life has been rather...mundane, if one counts being raised by a Mage who made it quite clear she wasn't her parent as mundane. That's not to say Livia wasn't a loving guardian figure, but she was incredibly strict and made sure Viola knew the meaning of the word 'Study' and 'Academics'. In fact, the two got along surprisingly well, with Viola's natural curiosity and propensity for things of the academic nature, save for the both of theirs rather...mischievous natures.
When she was ten, she started learning the practical applications of magic, starting with simply 'seeing' the spirits. When she was twelve, she started learning how to communicate with them, which was made difficult by the fact that each spirit sometimes had a different way to communicate. A different dialect, language, or sometimes they didn't communicate at all, depending on their origins. When fourteen, she summoned her first spirit under Livia's supervision.
That was about the extent of their relationship. Livia told her should should pursue her own studies after that. Viola of course, decided to take her up on that offer and has been studying at B.U.M. for the past year or so.
Master: Livia Fiore. A User of spirit herself, who insisted upon being called 'Mistress' when she was apprenticing under her. She taught her the basics and saw her through her first summoning, but after that Viola was on her own. Livia, and likewise Viola, are large believers in independent study and after making sure she knew everything in theory, she let Viola go and study on her own.
It's unlikely she will take another, unless the benefit would be too great for her to say no too.
If [Viola] was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: Anything is fair game, it would just depend on if the sacrifice was worth it. Nothing is too valuable to lose, if what would be gained was of perceived equal value. Otherwise, she wouldn't take the deal.
If no one else would step up to the plate and this was an important matter, she'd step up to the plate without hesitation though.
If [Viola] was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: Simply put, Immortality. She would give up everything for the chance for it. A simple, age-old want that quite a few men have had in the past.
Various Poltergeists: Harmless things, really nothing more than a nuisance, but they seem to follow Viola around quite a bit after she made friends with a few of them after frequent trips to the graveyard.
Excellent, then. Is there anything specific you want to work out specifically? Or just say that they're fairly good acquaintances, and study in the library together or something?
Perhaps they've gone on a field trip or two once, and that ended horribly/well/hilariously or something? Just throwing out possible ideas to help cement their current relationship a bit more.
So, I was just looking over your CS and was perhaps wondering if Viola and Strauss would know each other in some capacity? They both like learning about magic in general at least, so perhaps they've run into each other once or twice? Maybe not really friends per se, but perhaps acquaintances.
granted, that means he'd have to put up with Viola and her shenanigans, though.
