Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Am sad.

I'll take a look at the OOC after getting some breakfast.
@Denny

Ho man, it's always fun to try and take part in one of these. Hopefully this one might actually get somewhere.

I'll be interested in this.

Question: You mind if someone played a character similar to the resident witch? Harvest moon games always gotta have one of those.
~Sorcha~

The dragon couldn't get comfortable in the bed. Try as she might, as comfortable as it was her body ached and she needed a nice, cool soak to help. She considered taking a bath, but the lake with its slightly magically charged waters helped more than a normal bath would. So she spent a few minutes after Luna left putting on her armor. While she had no reservations going out without a shred of clothing, she didn't want to make more work for Luna in case she couldn't get home on her own. She didn't want to worry her any more than was needed. Besides, it was just a flesh wound, as they say.

After donning her armor, Sorcha moved to the window and opened it. She could fly there, certainly. She had flown longer distances with worse health before. She could easily cover the distance between here and the lake without any trouble. For about the first half of the flight, barring some shortness of breath she managed to easily make a good effort between gliding and flying. About halfway there though, she began to regret her decision a bit, but she was a stubborn old dragon, and wasn't about to let some ailment get the best of her so easily.

Flying lower to the ground, the dragon decided to walk the rest of the way there. At least, that was her intention before one of her wings suddenly gave out. With a brief yelp, the dragon fell, slamming into the ground near the lake and rather comically skidding across the ground, tumbling a few times before coming to a halt, laying face down a few feet away from a familiar kitten.

"Oooh...not one of my better landings..." She groaned. Ugh, that was not very good for her current condition. Really, she wanted to lay there a few minutes and catch her breath a bit but the faint sound of sobbing caught her ears. Well that wasn't good. Who could possibly be sobbing on a rather fine day like this? Sorcha lifted her head, resting her body as best she could on her arms. She recognized Maoin almost instantly.

"Moain?...whatever are you crying for?" Despite the obvious tiredness and somewhat strained voice the dragon spoke with, it was clear she was definitely concerned.

Cynthia simply looked away from Mugi, unable to say anything. It was nothing really - as she said, it was her job to be good at this sort of thing. Which made it somewhat difficult to make anything sort of...special, for Mugi for this little tutoring session. Not that she wanted too, of course, but it was her job to provide the best care and service possible. As such, it always made it difficult to seem like she actually cared sometimes, or she was just doing what she was trained too.

Granted, she didn't exactly care for most people aside from the headmistress, but still.

She turned her head back to Mugi, finally having decided on a question. She had said yesterday they should get to know each other a bit more, so a small question like this shouldn't be difficult.

"I've never been to the eastern countries...what are they like?"

~Miren~

"S-steak?!" Miren shouted as Eith came crashing down. She knew it! This mutt just wanted to eat her delicious chocolatey bunny buns! The rabbit worked her way away Eith quickly, scrambling across the floor over to her desk. Well, at least the mutt seemed to have hit her head and was out of it for a bit which meant she could go about doing her job. She pushed herself up, sighing tiredly as she opened the drawer in the desk and retrieved the key.

"A-ahem...Sorry for that but I just can't really...handle dogs that well. I'm sure she meant no harm, but...bad experiences since I was a little bun bun." With that, Miren walked over to the doors and unlocked them, the magical enchantments protecting the section dissipating as the key turned. "Ahem - now, since you've been in there before I assume you don't need me to tell you the rules." With a stretch, she walked back over to the desk and took a seat.

"I'll have someone erm, make sure the...Shellagh? Is alright. I have a lot of work to do but if you need anything feel free to ask."
@KiwiBaer

...I recall reading that, now that you mentioned it.

Ignore me, I am going to bed now before I do something else silly~ xD

But yes. Interest, have it.
I really don't need another RP.

But

I'm interested in playing someone from Avia. Not too keen on playing the leader, but I might give it a shot if I can come up with something when it's not twelve at night

The first step, was rope of some sort. It didn't need to be long - only a about a foot or two would be good enough for her purposes. Plant fibers could easily be made into simple, sturdy if not entirely refined rope. Trees were an excellent source of this - the fibrous materials underneath the bark and wood provided excellent materials. It was a good thing she ended up in a forest. There were trees everywhere.

For about the next hour, Charlotte went about inspecting various trees for dead bark. It was easier to pull the fibers from dead pieces of bark, and it would be less harmful to the tree. She decided it'd be best to go ahead and collect more than she'd likely need as well. Extra rope would always come in handy. She made sure not to venture too far from the cave, getting lost would be a terrible idea plus the area seemed fairly safe, and aside from a few birds it seemed there weren't any dangerous wildlife aside from a certain annoying humanoid. After collecting the fibers Charlotte went about making them into rope. Making usable lengths of rope wasn't too difficult, and after about a half hour and letting the rope unravel a few times she had four, fairly sturdy two feet long lengths of rope at her disposal.

After rolling them up and stuffing them into one of her many pockets she set about finding a good sturdy rock. A river nearby would prove to be the easiest place for that, most likely. A good, smooth, and sturdy stone. The one they had crossed multiple times already would be the best place to look for one. With rope in hand, Charlotte set off. She'd need two rocks. One for the blade, and one two make the blade with.

After arriving at the river, locating two decently sized rocks didn't take long. She spent the next hour or so making the blade of it. Sharpening a stone in such a manner was not something she had done before, but after a few attempts and few times of hitting her fingers she managed to make a decently sharp blade. Now she just needed a good, sturdy stick to secure it too. Taking the new axe head with her, she walked back into the forest and easily found a decently sized limb and headed back to the cave.

After making sure the axe head was secure to the handle by tying three of the four cords to it, she gave it a few experimental swings against the ground. The newly made axe gave a surprisingly satisfying whump noise as it met the ground. Good! About three hours later she had made good progress. Well, maybe not good progress - but progress. It was getting rather late, admittedly, but she still had time. Now it was for the hard part.

Cutting down a tree.

This, was a physical ability the likes of which Charlotte had never done before. The trees didn't seem too big - at least not like the massive, old, oaks that one sometimes found in the forests around Astril. Even so, it was not something that was going to be easy for her to do.

Well, the only thing she could do was get started.

She walked over to a decently sized tree and after taking a quick look around, she brought the makeshift axe to the trunk and started cutting. If she had even registered Cait's presence throughout this entire thing, Charlotte didn't show any signs of it.

I do believe they're from the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games.

Either Red/Blue Rescue team or the Explorers game.
~Livia~

"You fought a dragon? A certain lightning dragon, I presume?" Livia stopped walking, turning to face Maoin with obvious hostility. "I find that difficult to believe that is an effort to note. If she was serious in a fight, you'd be nothing more than smoldering ash." Livia scoffed dismissively at Maoin's assertion, not buying the obviously false statement.

"Let me make myself incredibly clear. You going in your current state would only increase the chances of Gwynn getting hurt. Why? Because its potentially extremely dangerous. I only even considered sending Gwynn because she said she could handle it, and from what I've seen from her martial ability and her magic - she is indeed quite capable. You though? You can hardly defend yourself. You're a pathetic, sorry, excuse for a familiar. All you can do is nag your master until she's annoyed and hardly even think about what she actually wants, but what you assume would be best for her. Why do you think she wanted to leave home anyways?" Her words likely stung more than a little, but Livia was never particularly one to mince words. She of course, could also be wrong. After reading a bit about Gwynn and hearing things from her though, she felt like she had a decent grasp of the situation.

"So let me ask you something. If you did go, and something did go wrong and Gwynn had to chose between saving you and possibly her own death, which do you think she'd chose? I sorely hope you know the answer to that, because if not then you don't deserve Gwynn. She is the type of person to put the welfare of those she cares about above her own. Now if you are quite done, stray, I have an academy to run and I will not be helping you in this matter."

Livia turned to leave, leaving the kitten standing there once again. This conversation was over as far as she cared, and any further questioning from the cat would likely prove unsuccessful.

"If you truly want to run after her, I suggest doing some self reflection."

Sweet? She had something sweet, at least. With a curt nod, the maid got off the bed and walked over to one of the shelves, retrieving the necessary implements. Silence filled the room as she worked, a bit unsure what to talk about. Small talk was not her forte, though she did want to say something, she just had no idea what. Maybe something about the Yuki-Onna? Typically, asking people about where they were from on her own accord wasn't something she was trained to do. Unless Livia had interest in obtaining that information, she was supposed to keep her mouth shut during such meetings.

Out of habit, then she simply remained silent until the tea was done and handed some to Mugi as she took a seat on the bed again, giving Mugi a somewhat expectant look.

~Miren~

Miren had no idea what a 'Shellagh' was. She didn't care. She only knew that this dog was not letting her go, and that terrified her no matter what the dog said. That said, as of yet she hadn't done anything untoward...she still had all her little bunny bits and hadn't tried to be eaten yet. Perhaps she really did have nothing to be afraid of. Unfortunately for Eith though, she also had a job to do. Which she was currently getting in the way of, and Eith didn't seem too entirely keen on letting her go.

Miren struggled to get out of Eith's hug, but found it somewhat difficult without getting a bit violent. She was not a particularly clever nor strong bunny. Well, usually. Acting mostly on instinct, Miren gave Eith a surprisingly swift, powerful kick right to the Shellagh's shins.

"Thank you, darling. I'll be sure to return the favor at some point~" Ralia gave a brief nod and a smile to Delphox in appreciation.

Seeing that Delphox was seemingly in agreement, the redhead backed off, giving the fox pokemon a wide grin. Well this was just going so well, wasn't it? She was confident in her ability to handle Weedles and Combee, but against Vespiquen and Beedrill? She'd get rekt harder than a level 4 noob waltzing into a high level area accidentally. With delphox keeping them off of her though, this would be a piece of cake.

"Awesome, thanks a bunch Delphox! I owe ya one sometime!" Claire cheerily replied. Right then...now where to start. Considering how close the Combee were flying to them, they'd be a lot easier to get her hands on. Plus, they weren't as aggressive as the Beedrill were, which meant it'd be easier to catch one and she'd have some fairly good steam left to fight a Weedle if she needed it. So, first on their checklist - catch a female Combee.

"Right, Ralia, keep your eyes open for a Combee! We need a female, since I want a Vespiquen." Ralia climbed off of Claire, standing in front of her. Preferably they could find a friendly little Combee and then they could catch it without angering a Vespiquen, but Ralia pretty much assumed the chances of things going horribly wrong was about 100%.

Action Taken: Find Female Combee

Charlotte ignored the other woman, tuning out the music she had started playing. It was easy enough to block out other people and outside noises. It was something she had to learn how to do in Astril quite quickly. Besides, she had nothing to say, even if she could communicate verbally. She had hoped that people outside of Astril would be different, but it seemed she had been wrong. Selfish, cruel, people who only wanted to get their fun from making fun of others or watching each other suffer...hah, maybe she was just being overly pessimistic as usual. She shook her head, dismissing the thought as she walked. Might as well head back and actually get started on something. One coconut would be enough for her to eat for the day. She'd spend the rest of it working on actually getting a small base up.

It took some time, but eventually they returned - Cait still following her. Charlotte frowned, wanting to get rid of her but it would be quite a feat. Outside of using physical violence there wasn't much she could do to shoo the girl away...well, as long as she didn't get in the way, it'd be fine.

Charlotte placed the coconut on the ground next to her own materials, making a mental checklist of things she'd need. She'd like to eventually expand the cave - it'd be an excellent place for storage and working. No risk of...accidentally burning the place down via alchemy mishaps should something spontaneously combust. At the moment though, that'd be a far outside of her reach. Not until she could get her hands on some proper tools and maybe some sort of chemical softening agent.

So for now she needed wood, something to chop said wood down with, and a way to make rope. Plant fibers would easily fit that need...and then she'd just need a good, sturdy stick and sharpen decently sized rock and she'd be able to cut down some trees easily enough. Then she'd have to find a way to make planks...eh, shouldn't be too difficult. As for a roof - some of those palm tree leaves would make for some fairly decent temporary coverage...yes, this shouldn't be too difficult at all.

As long as Cait didn't bother her, she could make some decent progress today. Maybe even get a tree felled.
