Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Rachel Holt

Letting the other two go off to do their own thing, Rachel and Impmon moseyed away from most of the commotion and the other two tamers. They passed a number of houses on their walk, and a few digimon as well. For the most part all seemed fairly peaceful and no one seemed to notice a girl and Impmon loitering about. Eventually, they found their way where a little treehouse sat. A number of funny little dinosaurs were playing around the place.

"Augumon." Impmon said with a grunt, looking up at Rachel. "Probably why the village is named the way it is." Rachel quietly hummed, lazily observing the treehouse. Again, nothing seemed too out of the ordinary...maybe she'd get of easy and not have to do anything? Nah, if video games taught her anything, the universe loved giggling at people in situations like hers. "So what we doin', partner?" Instead of replying, Rachel walked over to where the treehouse was, for the most part ignoring most of the Augumon.

And took a seat right at the bottom of the tree. She crossed her legs, yawning tiredly and stretching her arms.

"...Y'know, I like the way you think, heh." Impmon chuckled. "But uh, the boss people are gonna be cross with us if we slack off like this." Well, he did sort of have a point...maybe she could use the Augumon here to her advantage or something? Eeeeh...too much effort. "Haaa, you know I wish I could be as carefree as you-eh!?"

Before Impmon could finish his sentence, Rachel picked up the digimon, and sat him in her lap as she started petting his head like one might a cat.

"W-wha? Stop that!" The imp digimon waved its arms in a somewhat childish fashion as it unsuccessfully managed to get the human off of him. Unfortunately, he was doing a fairly poor job of hiding his actual enjoyment. Fine, time for tactical sandwich distraction then! He still had it from when Vivian had given it to him. "Hey, catch!" He tossed the sandwich into the air, followed by Rachel immediately releasing the digimon and catching the sandwich with surprising skill. Realizing that she had just been tricked with the promise of munchines, she looked over at Impmon, her expression not changing at all as she brought the sandwich up to her mouth.

"Y-you're not fazed by anything..." After a few seconds of not receiving a reply, he continued. "...not much of a talker, either are ya?" He sighed. "I can't tell whether you got nothin' between those ears of yours, or your just playin at being as dumb as a rock. We really should get back to work though, shouldn't we?" Not that he was looking forward to it, but he didn't want to really get in trouble. With a tired sigh, Rachel pointed to the ground in front of her.

"Not happenin' there bud." Rachel seemed less than impressed with the answer and finally decided to say something from her last few minutes of silence.

"...you're not too bright, are you?"

"G-geh! I'm plenty smart!"

Rachel once again, pointed at the ground in front of her. After a few seconds of consideration, Impmon begrudgingly walked over. Thankfully, Rachel hadn't decided to get handsy again. Instead, he simply took a seat on the ground next to her - facing the rest of the village.

"So what's your big plan here, partner?" Rachel tilted her head to the side as she looked at Impmon. "I'm not no mind reader!" Rachel then pointed towards the village. "I don't do sign language either!" Rachel's eyes shifted to the side in a disappointed fashion.

"...you sure you're smart?" At this Impmon simply frowned.

"I'm smart enough to know your head is full of tumbleweeds and trough water!" Rachel grabbed impmons head, turning it towards the village.

"...watch." She simply said. After a few seconds, a plan finally seemed to click in Impmon's head.

"Oh, you wanna watch for any suspicious activity? that it?" Rachel gave the digimon a small smile. "You know, you gotta work on your communication skills there, partner-hey!" Rachel had already stretched again, and had leaned against the trunk of the tree. "You just want me to do all the work while you sleep!"
@PlatinumSkink

Ho man, this is gonna be good....Looks great!

At least there's no glaring type disadvantages.

In fact, if Lure gets her bug butt in there, this could be pretty easy, heh. Unfortunately, she's outside nomming on the honey she found in the previous post and not caring at all.
Hum

You know, I played a lot of the Dragon Quest games back in high school, but they kinda fell off my radar after college and I became a boring adult got busy.

I got room for another RP, I'll see if I can't come up with anything since this looks like it could be neat~

I'm thinking a mage character that could eventually become an Armamentalist.

EDIT:
Actually. For once in my life, I might actually play a priest.

EDIT: 2

Welp, I made one faster than I thought, so here ya go. It's been awhile since I played anything Dragon Quest related, so do tell if I mess something up anywhere~

Probably gonna go Paladin later.

Eith and Lyssa made their way out of the small meeting room. Lyssa wasn’t too keen on leaving the room since it was much colder out in the hallways, but that’s what Eith was for! Immediately upon leaving, the demon scooted closer to the hound as they walked…and immediately wrapped one of her arms around the other girls shoulders.

“Whaaa, Eith you’re so waarrrm~” She giggled.

”Lyssa, don’t go further than that if you value your whole body. Unless you’re keen on losing an arm.” Eith told the demon. She’d let Lyssa probably deal with Ayumi more. They were just told to keep her busy anyway.

Lyssa pouted, rubbing her face against the hounds cheek.

“Come ooon, it’s freezing and I’m coooollld.” Lyssa continued as they walked.

”And you won’t be cold ever again if you go further than this.” Eith was growling slightly and it would have been loud and clear to the demon attached to her face.

“Sooo…this is okay then?~” Lyssa giggled impishly.

Since Eith hadn’t told her to stop, Lyssa continued snuggling Eith as they walked. She was content to simply hug the girl for now as they made their way to Ayumi’s room. She was really glad the hound hadn’t forced her off or something. When the pair finally made their way to Ayumi’s room, Lyssa was the first to bound over to the door and throw it open with a bright grin.

“Heeeere’s Lyssa! And Eith-uh…” Lyssa’s mouth briefly seemed to quit working as the door opened.

Ayumi was hanging from the ceiling by a rope tied around her body, and was bound fairly tightly. She titled her head towards the two of them with obvious amusement.

“Wooow, Ayumi, already got yourself all ready for me.” Lyssa giggled.

“Oh you know, I aim to please in all number of ways.” Ayumi replied with a smirk. “So lemme guess, Dawa asked you to find the spirit that might be possessing someone.” Ayumi’s rather precarious position sent a few red flags up in Lyssa’s head despite her giggles. She figured Ayumi was skilled, but how did she tie herself up like that? She’d have needed help, wouldn’t she?

”This is good. We can leave her like that and she can’t touch us. The Shellagh said with a tone of relief. “Let us continue on like this Lyssa.”

Lyssa giggled, walking into the room and shutting the door behind them. Taking a quick look around the room showed that the area wasn’t too much unlike the other areas of the room, though a number of decorative masks depicting various creatures adorned the walls. A simple bed, a few dressers and a desk with some writing utensils and ink were about as much furniture as the room had. Oh, it was also much warmer than it was outside, which the demon was thankful for.

“So, what should we know about this spirit?” Lyssa asked the ninja.

“Aside from the fact I’m pretty sure it’s 100% possessing someone? Hrm, lets see…” Ayumi hummed to herself for a few seconds before continuing. “Well, not much. I’m not sure who it could be possessing or how exactly to detect it without forcibly trying to exorcise them. Might be the best solution, actually.” Ayumi would have shrugged, if her arms weren’t tied behind her back.

“If I had to hazard a guess though, it’d probably be Kouze. I mean, she’s like a sister to me in a lot of aspects and I don’t want to point fingers, but…well, It was my bad with the whole fighting thing. I know, but Kouze didn’t exactly give us much of a choice. She didn’t even try talking. Not that we uh, did that either, but eh~” She chuckled sheepishly. “We grew up together and I was always the one getting on her nerves, ya know?” She chuckled. “But hey, someone always had to make her have a bit of fun. She’s got no concept of it whatsoever.”

”I don’t think you know much about having fun either.” Eith added, looking at the way Ayumi was tied up. ”Why say Staff-Woman is the target?” Eith asked. To her Ayumi gave no real reason.

“Waaah? I’m tons of fun!” Ayumi said with a pout. “But as for why…I can’t really give you a solid answer. If I had to say though, likely because of the power it could have. Kouze has pretty heavy sway over Lady Dawa, as well as everyone else in the temple. She’s a good sort and people trust her.”

Most thought was really beyond her grasp. Eith tried to think, but she really couldn't put together a real reason it could be Staff-woman. To be fair, she couldn't put reasons behind anyone being it.

Lyssa hummed quietly to herself. It made sense, at least. But then, there was also the chance Ayumi was just telling them that to take suspicion off herself. Her mama taught her better than to blindly trust people, after all! Even if she wanted too, it was rather silly to do that, especially in a situation like this. The demon tilted her head to the side in a somewhat innocent manner as she replied.

“Aren’t you the same, though?” Lyssa replied.

“Eeeh? Accusing meee? And here I thought we were friends, pinky!” Ayumi chuckled. “Not gonna lie, yea, Dawa practically raised me. Trust from the others though? Pfft, I go around stealing their underpants for giggles. Kouze gets really embarrassed about it. It’s hilarious.” Lyssa giggled at the thought.

“Eeeeh, I dunno, all this is making my head huuuurt.” The demon grumbled, holding the side of her head with her hands.

Honestly, Lyssa knew they pretty much had accomplished nothing with this talk, really. Sure, Ayumi said Kouze could be it and she wanted to believe her, but…it was just words. The demon frowned, puffing out her cheeks as she pouted slightly. She liked Ayumi, she didn’t want to accuse her of anything or believe she lied. This was difficult and somewhat annoying.

“I don’t think we’re gonna get anything else, Eith…” Not like this, at least. “Aaaah, I’m gonna head back to the tea room, curl up in a ball and go back to doing adorable demon things.” Maybe she’d take a bit of a nap so she could do some stealthy ninja stuff of her own tonight…

“Alright, see both of you later. If you wanna stay and torture me some, hound, you caaaan~” Ayumi grinned at Eith. “Ooootherwise, I’ll be hanging out here, heh”

Eith scoffed at the ninja and left the room without a second look.

“Tsk.” Ayumi clicked her tongue in a dissatisfied manner before a small grin spread across her face. “For someone so warm you’re awfully cold. Makes me all tingly, hehe~”

Lyssa giggled a bit, but quickly followed after Eith, leaving the ninja to her own morally grey devices. The two demons left the room and returned to the Tea room and waited for the others.

I'll have Rachel do her usual slacking off tomorrow~
@Guess Who

Well enough
Got some work to do tomorrow so I suppose I should be heading to bed...

~Charlotte LaChance~

"Lying is not something I intend on doing, but if I am uncomfortable answering something then they should respect that." Charlotte replied with a small huff. Truthfully, she didn't think there would be anything such as that happening...but one could never be sure. She had no intention of hiding anything at least, but she didn't want to get into details of what exactly she was doing, either. They were not involved in her problems nor would they likely understand, and getting them overly involved would only serve to complicate matters.

The cave the trio eventually found themselves in was something of a wonder to Charlotte. Certainly she had seen a few of the mountain peoples caves that they lived in, but this was beyond what they could do. Especially the hair on the ceiling, giving it a natural glow unlike her artificial lighting with stones and fire. Curious. Oh the things she'd like to study, note, and learn of the caves and the people. She'd love to spend more time and simply learn. That was her duty as an alchemist, after all. Learning as much as she could about the world.

But she didn't have the time, not when she was possibly finally one step closer to her goals.

"Easier that way." Charlotte replied with a grunt. She didn't mind it, really. She wasn't here to socialize after all.
~Kohana~

For the most part, by the time Sieg had started speaking to her she had already left the room. She really, really, hated that guy. If it was for Tsumiki, she'd have already showed him how to make bacon out of giant lizard. Besides, wasn't like anything intelligent ever came out of the guys mouth that deserved to be listened too...probably. She did catch some comment about her 'ranting' about her being a horrible person. Ha! No, that wasn't ranting, that was a fact. She was objectively a terrible person. No way around it - just like the rest of humans.

Annoying, foolish, and greedy little creatures. The lot of them, and she wasn't any better. Her history proved that. Reality was a bitch, wasn't it?

...though thinking of herself and Sieg as the same thing sort of irritated her. She started mashing the button on the handheld device a bit harder. Yeah, being the same as Sieg really wasn't something she wanted to be at all. By the time Ryuunosuke showed up, the Kitsune was aggressively mashing the button and glaring at the screen as if the poor device had somehow insulted her.

"Oi, angel-face, this the Animal Appreciation Club? I got some documents that need signing, pronto. . ."

At the greeting, Kohana calmly pressed the button once more before taking a deep breath. Tsumiki would have her fluffy tails mounted over the fire place if she picked a fight with a random human. Angel face, though? That was likely an insult, considering her not exactly glamorous appearance. The expression he was wearing when she looked up after tucking the handheld back into her coat pocket definitely was one of aggression. She could tell - she wore the same expression pretty often. The fact he also commented on the fact she was a devil, also meant that he was looking for a fight.

How tiring. She didn't mind a fight, but she didn't want to get in trouble and she wasn't feeling very...up for it.

"I go to school here, duh. Not to bright, are you?" She replied with a slightly annoyed expression. She honestly didn't want to deal with him. She had a few other things she'd want to do...so she'd let one of the others take care of him. It might even be funny. She reached out, taking the papers from Ryuunosuke. "I'll uh, make sure they get to who they need too." Had she seen him somewhere before? She didn't think so, but if he went to school here for a few years, it was a wonder she hadn't run across him before considering her not exactly upstanding history.

"Sorry to be a killjoy, but boss man would be cross with me if I picked a fight with a human." No sense in hiding it since he obviously knew. She wasn't just being lazy, really! "Buuut," An impish smile formed on Kohana's lips as she continued. Hey, maybe she could get some entertainment out of this. "If you head inside and ask for 'A smelly, perverted, overgrown lizard who smells of disappointment and failure' I'm pretty sure you could get a fight out of him."
