Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Wonderful." Marise replied with a smile. "It's been awhile since we've had guests." She began walking at a brisk pace towards their estate, Charlotte, for the most part remained neutral. This could be a good opportunity but she wouldn't get her hopes up for now. She'd reserve judgement for now, and wait to see if they could actually help or not.

The trip to their estate was a thankfully short one. Once they had gotten out of the main city and headed to the more well off parts of the city, it was clear that the Fiore's at least, had quite a bit of wealth compared to most people. First they'd see a large, extremely well taken care of yard in front of the estate, walled off with a large iron gate and complete with a stone road for carriages or other such modes of transportation. The building itself was three stories tall at its tallest, with several chimneys extending from the roof, though only a few seemed to be in use.

"Here we are," Marise led them to the front door, opening it and motioning for Himeko and Charlotte inside. "Katherine, be a dear and show them to my room would you? Livia ahem, probably wouldn't like them intruding on her privacy." She gave a mildly nervous seeming chuckle but otherwise walked in behind them.

"Ah...Marise, we have guests? Young Miss said we might have company, so she had me prepare some tea. I've already put it on, and it should be done momentarily."

"Oh, thank you Nynette. I must speak with mother about something, so Katherine and you are in charge of the guests." She teased.
Opera Night

~@The Irish Tree @Eviledd1984 (NEP & Maria)~

If Christine's own red face was anything to go buy, Nephele had definitely succeeded in appearing as her prince charming. As soon as Nephele pulled away from the kiss, Christine held the sides of her own face, completely enthralled by her rather, objectively, amateurish acting. It wasn't bad, but it certainly was cheesy, but it had the desired effect on the young noble.

"Aaaaah!~" She pulled herself away from Nephele with her usual over dramatized demeanor, a loud giggly squeal, twirling once on her feet and acting like a village girl who just got her first kiss from some knight in shining armor. "Oh be still thy beating heart! Haha I'm such a genius still" She held both of her hands to one side of her face, going on to mutter a few things, such as 'guys' and 'this was better'. "Such a great idea me, oh how do I come up with these ideas! A forbidden love between two women, aaah such a scandalous tale is almost too hot for the stage!~"

"Do forgive my daughter," Gerald chuckled before giving her an encouraging grin. "She is easily excited. You did well, I think, Nephele! That is exactly what this play needs, I think! Boldness and bravery! -ah...hm?" He turned his head to the doorway where Maria was walking in. "Ah...Lady Maria! nice of you to join us. Nephele and Christine here were practicing their lines. Finish giving yourself a tour of the mansion? Thank you for the Chandelier, by the way."

Upon hearing someone new enter the room, Christine stopped her giggling and twirled again, turning to face them.

"Ah...hello! I don't think we've met. I'm Christine!" She flashed Maria a grin. "...so, dad says you might've been exploring the mansion? Run into any spooky things in this old place?" She asked brightly, though her tone of voice was slightly odd. Almost as if she already knew the answer. Gerald simply sighed.

"Christine, please do not bring up those silly stories."
Avaline

"Ah...!" At the sight of the frames, Avaline snatched them again in her usual overly excited fashion. Careful of her claws, she placed them on her face, completely unaware that they weren't even complete. Finding a mirror or something she could admire herself in, Avaline made a few 'intelligent people' poses before turning back to Luna with a huge grin. "Master Luna! How do I look?" Hopefully Luna wouldn't crush the poor girls dreams.

Livia

"I would say she's a busy woman, dear." Livia continued. "Finding her when she's not busy would be best. She has a tendency to...shall we say, ignore people she doesn't entirely see as an equal. Of course, do what you will...now about your 'cow'." Livia smirked, doing her best to hold back another chuckle. "You do know what a 'familiar' is, I hope? To put simply, you could turn Cocoa into a servant of sorts, if you'd prefer instead of giving her away." Livia suggested, leaning back in her chair. "I'd go over the specifics, but it's something someone does for themselves."

Chione

"Ah...I will be fine with some fish, a few slices of bread and some rice, perhaps?" It was a simple meal by all accounts, but she wasn't one to have extravagant tastes. The waitress nodded happily and then made her way back to the kitchens. Meanwhile, Chione and Katherine were left alone. The old Egyptian woman gave Katherine a friendly smile. "Thank you for the hospitality. I would offer the blessings of the old lands to you but I wouldn't want to over step my bounds." She shook her head, smiling somberly. "So many things have changed...All of this will take some getting used too...ah, but I doubt you'd want to hear an old woman complain." She leaned on the table, placing her elbows on it.

"Katherine, was it? I have to ask about those dolls of yours. They are certainly...unique." She did have her misgivings about them, but it wasn't good to judge them. That wasn't her job, after all. She was no judge.

Celine & Marie

For a moment, Marie's smile seemed to waver slightly before she sighed, taking a look at the remaining small crowd of people. This wouldn't do at all. They dare talk down to her? Tsk, tsk, tsk, no no, that wouldn't do at all. She wouldn't let them take this success from her. She was one of the most popular people in school. Right alongside the Sathanus kid, as annoying as she was.

"Well, well," Marie pouted a bit, as if she was feigning being hurt before her usual confident smirk returned. "Did all that water go to your tits and not your brain?" She looked over to Kozue. "And what about you? This undine fill your head full of water or something?"

"Silence, insolent cretin!" Celine replied harshly. "I refuse to let one such as yourself continue to do as they please here. Kozue, put her in her place."

"...challenging me to a duel? Wouldn't Livia be quite upset with you? Or has that smelly old woamn finally rubbed off on you too much when she was using you as her personal plaything." Celine's eyes widened a bit at this, a small bit of blue-colored blush spreading on her face.

"T-that is none of your business, demon!"

Lyssa

"Me? Work? Naaah." Lyssa replied. "I mostly just study for now...a-and well, occasionally my mom drops by and says hi. But until I'm older and w-well, she decides it's time I'm not going to be doing much work." She didn't give much more information than that, she wasn't sure how much Fia knew about her so she couldn't really say much without risking getting in trouble. Silence followed, unsure what else she could really talk about. Ah! Wait a minute....

"...hey hey, what are you doing here anyways? Livia kick you out or something?"
"If we're done here, I'm heading back to the estate." Livia replied coldly. For the most part, she remained completely disinterested. She had better things to do than waste her time with this. "I have my own studies and research to deal with rather than watch these two blunder about on their own." Marise frowned, watching Livia leave with a mildly disapproving expression, but there wasn't much she could do to stop her. Besides, they were heading to the same place now, hopefully.

"I apologize for her," Marise said with a sigh. "She's a good, honest girl I promise. She just doesn't have much patience for people, especially dishonest people." She fixed both of them with a smile and a friendly gaze that masked a very analytical look she was giving them. "Anyways, I believe introductions are in order. I am Marise Fiore, and the scheming philanderer next to you is Katherine, my younger sister. The one who is currently walking away is Livia. Despite her attitude, she's the one who alerted us to your troubles."

"Hm...I see. Thank her for us then." Charlotte replied carefully. "...Charlotte, if you need a name." She pulled on her cloak lightly, straightening it a bit.

"And despite what Katherine says, I want nothing for aiding you. You paid for our meal, so I say we are even in that regard." She smiled. "But I am sorry to trouble the both of you further, but I must insist you come to our estate. I can use my authority to help you so much, but it would raise questions and if I overextend my bounds...well, my mother might get curious to your presence herself and I can certainly say that you'll be here for months if that happens."

Perhaps, they could use this family to their advantage in some regard?

"Perhaps they could help us, Himeko." Charlotte said, glancing over to the Tengu.
"I'll need to speak with Laurence about this," he said, not making a move to return the cloak. "I haven't heard of the Fiore's having guests from outside the city." He looked over to Marise, who simply gave him a smile.

"Now now, no need to be so suspicious knight sir," She continued to smile, somehow the tone of what she was saying and the smile seemed completely opposite of what it should be. "I would hate to have to tell mother that you accosted our guests." The knight visibly straightened his posture, a mildly cold sweat breaking out on his forehead.

"O-of course not!" He made a moved to hand the cloak over to Katherine, but before the younger girl could grab it she did so herself, giving Katherine a mildly annoyed look as she draped it back over her shoulders. "I wouldn't want to get in Lady Fiore's way." He turned to the other guards, motioning them to continue on. "Apologies for troubling you, miss. Won't happen again." He began moving quickly himself, seemingly eager to get away.

"Whew," Marise said after they were out of earshot. "I promise they have the best of intentions, but they can get a little overzealous sometimes." Marise sighed. "Are you both alright?"

"...Humph. I am fine. Thank you for your assistance." Charlotte said, taking a few steps away from Katherine, and dusting off her cloak.
"Do you take me for our mother or something?" Livia harrumphed, following Marise out of the restaurant. "Maybe they're not as rude as I thought. Maybe they just thought I was pretty. I don't know, and I don't care."

"Now now, Livia, I know you and mother do not get along well, but it would be silly to speak rude of her, especially in public." Marise moved quickly, hoping to arrive before something happened to the two of them. "Where are they, Livia?"

"They didn't get far," She sighed. "Just follow the road and we'll see them. The academic looking one looks like she might be a little in over her head."

Now the question was to let them have her cloak and potentially lose all of her resources, or decline and try and talk her way out of this? Well, she really didn't want to lose any of her things. Some of them had required both time and rare resources she might not be able to get her hands on again easily. she sighed, holding her arms against her stomach. Should she be truthful here? She couldn't decide what the best course of action would be. It was annoying, that's what this was.

"What exactly is 'Contraband', exactly?" Charlotte questioned. If she could keep them talking she might find a way out of this.

"Items of questionable nature." The guard replied curtly. Quite a vague and non specific answer. Just an excuse to label anything questionable if they had reason to take someone in, then.

"Define questionable." Charlotte continued, unstrapping her cloak from her shoulders. She might be able to talk her way out of this yet. "I am a healer of sorts, and I keep quite a few materials in my cloak." Not technically a lie, though it wasn't quite the truth either. "A few of them are definitely 'questionable in nature' as is the nature with medicine sometimes in its unfinished state."

Now that it was off of her shoulders, one would quite easily see the inside of it once it was turned outside. Numerous glass vials filled with different colored liquids of all sorts lined the inside of it. Near the top collar was her notebook. Judging from the guards expression as he looked it over, it wasn't a good one.

"Healer, huh..." He fixed Charlotte with a cool glare of his own. "You'll have to come with us, miss." Well shit.

"And if I refuse?"

"That would be unwise."

"Now now, is that anyway to speak to a lady?" Oh thank heavens she had made it in time. The guards eyes widened a bit at Marise's voice, quickly straightening his posture. Charlotte herself, was mildly surprised. She hadn't expected them to actually follow her and Himeko. Marise flashed her a pleasant smile, before turning her attention to the guard. Livia remained a some distance away, not seemingly taking much interest in the events.

"Lady Fiore." He greeted. "I apologize if I've offended in some manner. These two foreigners made it into the city before we could send the order to start searching everything for contraband. It would seem they have some on them."

"Hm...I suppose it would seem that way," Marise began. "However, these two are guests of the Fiore's and they are here under our care. I can assure you that they are not here to cause trouble, so if you could return her cloak..." Charlotte remained silent, not wanting to potentially give something away here.

Man, ya'll posting fast
I'll try and have something up tomorrow.
Alright, and a post!

With permission from our glorious GM I have had Suzue do a thing.
~A hungry little spider~

Suzue sighed. She had been growing increasingly bored. It was growing increasingly obvious. Perhaps that's why she's started relapsing into her 'old tricks' again. It was a little different this time, though. Men were so boring. The same, all of them. So easily tricked and coerced...not to mention all the same. After living so long, one started to want a little variety and fun in their lives. So she had focused her efforts on the cute little things known as 'women'. It wasn't as difficult as one might think, but perhaps she was just that good? She liked to think her skills in that area were quite good, at least. She had promised someone a long time ago she'd be a good little spider, but...ah, she was so bored recently. Not even cute little Chi-chan could entertain her these days.

She supposed she should feel bad, for breaking that promise, but the only thing there was apathy, and a slight thrill from the thought of being discovered since she had gotten a little rusty.

"Tsk," She smiled, lips turning into a small smile from where she had set herself up. A warehouse that, as far as she could tell, hadn't been used for some time. It was dark inside, but that was fine. She could see well enough in low-light conditions. Multiple sets of eyes helped with that. She looked upwards, towards the webs hanging on the ceiling.

Such delicious prey they had been.

"Chi-chan is going to be quite upset with me..." She held a hand to the side of her face. "Ah well..." She had her darling little children anyways. "Well, I've gotten quite careless in recent days. Make sure to take care of him, hm?" Suzue sighed. "We're a bit out of practice, but I know my darling little children wouldn't let me down." A few of the spiders hissed in what could be assumed in an affirmative seeming manner. Suzue smiled, and waited.

There was a quiet house in the suburbs. One wouldn't think too much of it, after all, it appeared to be a completely normal house. One wouldn't be able to tell something was amiss inside of it. The mans wife had gone missing, and since the police had been completely unable to help in the matter, he had began doing something himself. Admirable, by all accounts...but he was, unfortunately, far in over his head. He sat at a table, rubbing his head.

No, it couldn't...that wasn't possible.

He jumped back, giving a start when he discovered a spider on the ground next to his floor, crushing it under his foot.

"No-!"

It just wasn't possible. He turned his head to the ceiling, and screamed.

People looked on as the house burned, a fiery inferno threatening to burn even the neighbors houses. It had started suddenly, and the owner of the house was assumed to still have been inside, but from the intensity of the flames it was unlikely he was still alive. The fire department had been called in order to deal with it, but even they were having mild difficult entirely putting it out, and the next few houses over had been evacuated.

Of course, they didn't notice the small spiders watching quietly from the shadows.
