Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Gym class

Ugh, there were quite a people going at it now, weren't there? The Gym teacher had given them quite the ridiculous task, hadn't they? Knock him off his perch and they'd get to go back to their dorms. Aside from being an obvious bluff - who in their right minds would believe something so ridiculous - there was very little chance of a group of new students actually being able to do something against someone of his caliber. Even the two ridiculous looking love birds were joining in. Ugh, it made her want to vomit and throw an iceball at them...and then someone quite...fun sounding showed up.

She started not only calling the teacher a hobo, she also started insulting the other students. Eirwen couldn't help but to inwardly chuckle at the girl, who on some level was speaking her own thoughts. The only difference here, was that she was actually a nice person and didn't go around starting needless violence. Aside from being tiring, she had no desire to actually be, well, intentionally mean. A little catty and annoying? Oh, definitely, but this girl was simply annoying.

Eirwen sat up, feeling Leanne finally ruffle her hair in her usual manner, scooting a bit closer to the other girl who was probably feeling a little agitated by now.

"Hmm...loud." The smaller girl grumbled, stretching as she sat up. "Well, at least I don't have to participate. I swear, these other people here are silly. Starting petty fights over something like this." Still, the likely ensuing fight was going to be good entertainment...that said, perhaps she could use this to put her brain to use. She cast a glance over to Manilow. Leanne had her darkness, and she had her ice. Albeit, both were unlikely to be used in a complementary manner usually, if someone could come up with a good plan then it wouldn't matter much.

If only she was good at freezing things in a wide area, with that water on him someone could freeze him and stop him from moving.

"So...any plan for getting that 'hobo' off his perch?" Eirwen giggled. "Not that I care. He's stuck in here with us even if he's not bluffing about keeping us here. I kind of want to see what happens if we just try to leave. Not like he can stop us without revealing his hand a bit. I have a few other ideas, but every ones being tiring to deal with right now." She'd do whatever Leanne did. For now she'd just lean on the other girl until she decided to do something.

People needed to try and use their head a bit more. Just lobbing random attacks at him with no control or thought isn't going to work. As well, sometimes the best way to win against someone clearly stronger than you was to use your head and do something...unconventional.

I'll see about starting on a post now~

Apologies for the delay.
Oof, sorry for the slight delay on a post from me people. Been rather busy, but I should hopefully have something up tomorrow.
"A-ah?" Marise frowned. Well, she would loathe some innocent person to get in trouble simply because of some silly laws the ruling class here uses to keep themselves in power. "Mhm. I'll handle it, then." Marise said, taking a final bite of her food and standing. "Livia, be a dear and handle the payment, would you?"

"Ah, no need miss Fiore...those two from earlier have paid for your meal." Gerald said, walking over. "It seems the young miss left quite the impression on them."

"Oh? Well...we'll have to give them our thanks then." She glanced a look over to Livia.

"Fine, fine," She grumbled, setting her teacup on the table. "We'll go 'help' them then."

"Thank you for your cooperation, miss." The guard replied, going through the purse a few seconds. After a minute or so of a thorough look, he handed her the purse back. "Keep those under watch, miss. Pickpockets are rampant these days." He chuckled. "Though if you're any good with that odd blade of yours I wouldn't expect you to have much trouble with that." He turned to Charlotte, giving her a quick look over. They seemed compliant enough, and likely wanted this to be over with just as much as they did, judging from the fact they didn't look too deeply at Himeko's belongings.

She didn't really have anything she could give to placate, them though. Her cloak? Its where she kept her valuables. She had it specially made to not only have dozens of pockets and compartments in it so she could keep her potions in, there was also the fact it was treated to be fire resistant.

"Hm, very well..." She sighed, removing a few pouches of items from her belt. First rule as an alchemist, you should always have ingredients and potions on you in case you needed to make something on the fly. "I think you'll find everything in order. Just a few plants and materials for study."

The guard went through the pouches, frowning a bit. No doubt he was finding things that weren't from the area. Preserved snowgrass, snowhawk feathers, and rock-ice from the caves beneath Astril. It was lucky she didn't have any particularly...macabre, items with her. Animal hearts. Rabbits feet. Frog eyes. All useful in potion making to some extent. That was definitely something she'd get in trouble for having here, likely.

"Hmm...you've come from a long way, then." He finally commented. Likely he didn't recognize most of the items, but he didn't seem like he was done just yet. It likely raised a few more questions than answers. "Where'd you say you were from, miss?"

"From the north." She replied with a stern tone

"Hm...very well, I'll need to inspect that cloak of yours too."

Well shit.

Charlotte frowned. She'd need to see their reaction before doing anything drastic.
Avaline

The food was so delicious! She had never tasted anything quite so sweet in all her years of being alive! Yes, this was perfect tribute to a dragon! The humans certainly know who to give their proper dues to. Now all she had to do was build herself a pile of treasure as high as a mountain and she'd finally be taken seriously by all the other dragons! Even sparkles! After practically gorging herself on sweets from the shop, Avaline was feeling quite content, slithering happily alongside Luna.

"Ah!" She gave a quiet cry as if she had come up with the best idea on the planet when asked what she wanted next. "Hm, uhm...those things some people wear on their faces. What they're called...the people that look really smart wear!" She had seen quite a few of the wear the articles of clothing here. She had no idea what they were called, but the people who wore them looked incredibly smart, so, she of course, needed a pair for herself!

Livia

At the sight of the gold, Livia had to stifle laughter. Oh this was...this was great. She'd recognize one of those crowns anywhere. One of those were very, very, dear to the old dragon. It's a wonder she didn't do something about security in this day and age, but such was the way of things. She'd also tell the girl she may want to put that back before a lazy, very angry and possessive dragon came knocking on her door...but where would the fun in that be?

"I see..." Livia said with a small smile. "Well, I happen to have a friend that could very easily appraise these relics of yours." Livia took a piece of paper, writing a few directions to Luna's dorm on it. "Here we are...she might be asleep at the moment, poor dear's been feeling exhausted lately, but just tell her I sent you and that you have a pile of treasure and that'll improve her day greatly."

Chione

Hm, so this woman used the souls of the dead in her magic as well. Chione inwardly sighed at the thought. Had such sacred things become so easily manipulated in this time? Well, nothing she could do about that. Still, the woman was incredibly helpful, giving her a nice tour of the campus and pointing out some of the more commonly visited shops. Perhaps she wasn't so bad as her magic suggested, then. Well, she'd reserve judgement for her father. Judgement was not something she could pass here.

"Food?" Chione shifted her weight. When was the last time she actually ate something? "Hmm...Well, I certainly wouldn't turn down your hospitality."

Celine & Marie

"Plan?" Celine frowned. "I just told you. We crash her party." Before Kozue could stop her, Celine started walking over to Marie's little gathering of her friends. Chances were, she hadn't thought about this too deeply, it seemed like it was a spur of a moment thing anyways. There was still a chance for Kozue to stop the undine if she wanted too, but Celine might not be too happy with that.

Regardless, as either of them approached, the small gathering of people had started to disperse slightly. Whatever Marie had been doing was more or less done it seemed. She was standing on a small raised platform with a bright grin, and was waving a cheerful goodbye to her 'fans'. At least, until she noticed Celine.

"Ooh! Seems we have a special guest!" Marie looked towards Celine. "The undine of the lake, nonetheless! Aha, maybe she's come to profess her undying love for me?" She giggled. "If so, I would have to gladly accept! Sorry, friends it seems I have been taken."

"Love? Please, no one could love a hollow shallow person like yourself." Celine harrumphed.

Lyssa

Lyssa's eyes widened in amazement as Fia showed off her pyromancy. The friendly demon giggled, giving the redhead a bright grin. Wow, Fia was...doing so much better than the last time Lyssa saw her. The demon was glad to see her doing well. She was still a little sad about what happened when she had watched her last.

"Oooh, neato! Been learning pyromancy, have you?" Lyssa replied with a smile. "Ehe, and I'm still stuck where I was last time..." She shook her head. She was tempted to ask about possibly hanging out and doing something outside, but...honestly she was scared she'd screw up again so the demon decided against it. Hmm...now what could she talk about though? Hm, she wasn't one not to not have ideas for friendly chatter, but she just didn't really know how to handle someone like Fia well. "...sooo, uhm, still working for the headmistress's lazy butt?"
"Hmm...no," Charlotte began, responding to Himeko. "I think it would be better if we stuck together. We are strangers here, and I would rather have your help than have you running off and causing trouble. You don't exactly blend in." The young alchemist continued walking. Not like she could stop Himeko from doing something if she wanted too, though. Perhaps she should ask someone about a library. "But hurry up with those shoes of yours. I don't want to linger in one place to long and draw more attention to ourselves."

"Ho, travelers!"

Before Himeko and Charlotte could consider their options further, not a few steps away from the restaurant a group of armored individual wearing simple, though finely crafted armor with swords and a few shields between them, numbering around ten in total. The one speaking looked to be a much more prominent member of their party. A large sword was strapped to his side, and his armor was dressed in bright greens and golds.

"Apologies for stopping you, but I couldn't help but notice your attire is a little out of place." The man was clean shaven, with brown hair and an overall friendly demeanor. "And this is admittedly a little unconventional, but there has recently been an influx of items being smuggled in from outside." He continued. "I simply would like to check either of you for contraband."

Charlotte didn't move an inch. Welp, this was bad. 'Contraband' was probably something she had on her in great numbers. She gave him a cool look, trying to decide what exactly her options were here.

"Indeed," Marise replied. "It's a shame they didn't want to stick around...I would have enjoyed speaking to them myself a bit." She shook her head. "But they were probably fairly busy people and were only stopping for a bite to eat. I doubt they'll be staying long anyways." For the most part, Livia remained silent, for the most part deciding to eat rather than speak. Unbeknownst to either Charlotte or Himeko, she had one of her spirits follow them. It could only go so far from her - but she could at least get a general idea of the direction they were heading and she could use them to scout for them later.

"...Though, if Livia is right and they aren't human and they run into anyone in the guard..." Marise frowned, shaking her head. "It would end badly for them. Worst case scenario they run into Laurence."

"They declined my help already, sister. They should reap what they sow." Livia harrumphed, smiling a bit to herself. "Huh, and they might already be doing so."

Opera Night

~@The Irish Tree (NEP)~

"Hm, I can't say I have seen Lady Maria." Gerald replied. "Perhaps she decided to take a look around the manor? I certainly wouldn't mind if she did so...though I wouldn't advise it. Some parts of the manor haven't been entirely repaired just yet and may be dangerous." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "As for a script, oh heavens no! Well, there is one but I feel as though anything we could come up with would pale in comparison to an actual adventurer's experience."

"I gotta agree with dad on this one," Christine grinned. "Just do whatever comes naturally, alright?"

"So, lets get started then....hmm, we'll start at the ending then, just after the murderer has been thwarted. I'll set the scene for you. For now, lets just practice your lines. The actual acting can come later. Just remember this is a romance hm? And this is supposed to have a happy ending." Gerald cleared his throat, before announcing in a rather theatrical fashion, turning to a mostly empty room as though practicing narrating for upcoming play himself.

"And so, the Phantom Ghast defeated by his own machinations. The chandelier designed to crush the poor and upcoming actress, Christine, failed. Together with the heroes she was able to thwart the masterminds dastardly plans," He paused for a moment. "I wonder, though, how will this tale end? Will the hero get the girl? Or is there heart-wrenching tragedy still around the corner? Not even I can tell, ladies and gentlemen..."

And that was her cue. He had said just to practice her lines, buuuut, she got a little too into it.

"Ahem," Clearing her throat for only a moment, Christine then ran right towards Nephele, wrapping the dragon in a tight hug. "Oh thank heavens that worked, Nephele!" She giggled brightly. "Oof, my dress is ruined from being ehe, but that's fine." She looked up at Nephele, face slightly red as she looked up at the taller dragon, obviously that was her cue to do something.

@Eviledd1984 - Maria

"Less talking darling, and more action! That's what this play needs!" Before Maria could get another word in edgewise with the specter, the ghostly figure held the decorative seeming cane like a rapier herself, jabbing it forward towards Maria's head. Thankfully for the mothwoman the door handle turned, letting her fall into the corridor she had just came from causing the ghostly womans weapon to hit nothing but air.

The only problem, was that this was not the hallway Maria had just come down. No, now it was a small foyer with a staircase that led downwards, all of the windows were boarded up and the air smelled as if someone hadn't been in the area for ages. The only way to go, was downstairs.

Thankfully, it seemed as though the phantom wasn't pursuing her, and once she reached the end of the stairs there was a door that led...

Right back into the initial foyer, where the front door was, except she was on the opposite end and side of the room. How exactly had she gotten so turned around? If she knew anything about phantoms, she might have an inkling of what was going on. Either way, it was a straight shot back to Gerald and the set.

~Arletta Dupain~

@PaulHaynek@The Irish Tree

"Ah...? You know the inventor then? Well, please show us the way." Arletta replied with a friendly smile, trying to calm down the cyclops. She followed eagerly, though not nearly as so as Magnus it seemed. As they arrived, the inventor greeted them cheerfully and started to explain about what he needed help with. Namely, material gathering. It seemed they had gotten incredibly lucky with the hides - that was a stroke of fortune on there part. Bird feathers and Morning Light Flowers. The hardest part would be the bird feathers, then.

"This is...certainly a fine machine, sir." Arletta replied, gazing over the machine. It was...something, certainly. She had to wonder if it would actually work. "You made this by yourself? With Talia's help?" Haha...if it did fly she'd like to take a ride in it herself, though Magnus' concerns were valid.

"Ah, I am Arletta Dupain." She introduced herself, glancing over to Magnus. "If you want to look for the flowers, I'll find some bird feathers, then."
"Tsk." Livia frowned, dropping Katherine's foot and finally turning to her food. "Fine, I'm a demon then. A demon for trying to help fools. Rather, I'm the fool for expecting fools to want help in the first place." She grumbled. Really, she did just want to help. It was annoying that she was being made out to be the bad guy for it, but that was just how most people were it seemed. Be nice, people question your intentions. Maybe she should have just turned them in to the guard for a reward? Hmph, would certainly have been much easier and more productive.

"Now now," Marise smiled. "Lets enjoy our meal and leave this behind, hm?"

"Eh," Charlotte shrugged. "Astril isn't exactly fond of fine dining. Everything is very...utilitarian." Charlotte replied in response to Himeko's question about the taste of the food. It was good to her at least. She was a bit surprised when Himeko offered to pay for the girls meal and their own. She had intended to pay for theirs herself at least, but hey, she wasn't going to argue.

"Humph...well, hopefully that will ease their suspicions...though I think it might make it more obvious." Charlotte grumbled, finding the waiter that had given them their food, and handing over the payment and telling them to pay for the sisters as well. After a small exchange, her and Himeko left the restaurant and stepped out into the streets again.

"I think our first course of action would be to find a library of sorts." Charlotte said. "Or some place we could find the records of."
~Claire Blackwood~

@PlatinumSkink

"Combee..." Lure hovered silently, feeling a little intrigued by this whole contest business, but made no attempt to show that to Claire or any parties present. The silly small pokemon known as Ralia would probably feel it, though. She wanted to see more, and cast a glance over to Claire to see if she'd take Yvonne up on this offer of more practice.

"Bad about myself? Pfft," Claire laughed, giving Yvonne a confident smirk. "Them's fightin' words, Yvonne!" Lets see...did she have time? This was a nice distraction and all, but she also promised Anise she'd buy her dinner. She also said she'd invite Yvonne to that. She also wanted to ask Anise where she could find some good looking fighting types, and she was supposed to meet up with Erika later...hmm, right right. "Buuut I'll have to reschedule your beat down for later." Ralia climed on top of Claire's head, whilst Lure buzzed in mild displeasure.

"I, have got a dinner date with a cutie." She grinned. "Ah...that reminds me. You wanna come with? I kinda owe her for helping me in Hector's gym, heh. Food's on me!" That also reminded her she had no idea of any decent restaurants in Red coast. Oh well! Winging it was her forte.

"Combee...!" Lure buzzed in mild annoyance.

"Hey hey, don't get uppity ya silly bug. We can practice more later. 'Sides, I'm hungry."
@The Irish Tree

It's fine, friend. I'm in no real rush myself. I'll have a reply up for ya sometime either this evening or tomorrow probably.
