Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"...o-oh..." Ceri pressed her hands together as Mis didn't hear her. Understandable. She couldn't bring herself to speak up. Obviously Mis couldn't hear her. The small mage didn't hold anything against her. It was her own fault for not being able to speak up. Urgh. The demon reached for another strawberry, the flavor having a slightly less sweet taste in her mouth this time as Mis carried on roughhousing with the rest of the guild mates. Meh...really, why was she feeling bad? The human obviously was too busy wrapped up in her own thoughts and activities to help. Pathetic. Selfish...

That's what she was telling herself anyways.

She reached for another strawberry, but before she could bring it to her lips her entire body froze in place. Ceri completely froze, absolutely terrified. This was...the guild masters magic, wasn't it? She knew it well, but even so she couldn't help it. Being restrained like this, being unable to do anything. Utterly helpless - it was not a nice feeling despite whatever it was the guild master was saying. Once it was over with, Ceri lost her grip on the strawberry, causing it to fall to the ground.

The small mage gave a pained breath as she leaned forward, wobbling in her seat.

"Urgh..." Damn it...even if she didn't want to feel terrified, she couldn't help it. Even if the Guild master was an ally, she couldn't help but to feel utterly terrified. Why was she always so weak? She should be stronger than this, right? Ceri closed the box of strawberries, having lost her appetite. She needed to be alone right now. Nothing seemed to be going right today at all.

She hopped from her seat, forgetting the strawberries.

"Uhm...bye...Mis! I'll uhm, be in the Library..."
Isolde

"On it!" Isolde shouted back to Marwood, grabbing Kergin's reigns and hefting her Halberd. Hold the line? That she could do! All she had to do was defeat all the bad guys before they go to them, right? Turning Kergin towards the direction of the Jehennan forces, Isolde was fully intent on doing what Marwood has asked.

"...Eh?" Kara's voice caught Isolde's ears, and just for a moment, she completely forgot what she was doing. A woman? A dragon? Dragon lady?...Isolde was speechless. She couldn't clearly make out anything she was saying, but she didn't need too. The woman dragon thing flew down from the heavens like some sort of angel amidst the battlefield. Dragon people were a thing? Isolde had no idea how to react to this, and thus her thoughts were completely stopped.

And she let Kergin's reigns fall out of her hands.

The brute of a Wyvern, had no chains on him now. Kergin gave a fierce roar, barreling past Amboli and Servus and taking a sharp left towards the strongest looking opponent, the Knight. Kergin and Isolde, despite their familiarity with each other only really knew how to do one thing well. Fight in a rather ungraceful manner.

"So pretty...!" While Isolde was distracted, she had just a few seconds to process what had just happened, and what was about to happen. Her body jerked right as Kergin made a hard left. "W-wah! KerginwaitIdon'thavethereigns!" Her words were drowned out as her Wyvern completely ignored her. Isolde herself was unceremoniously launched from her mount, with her trajectory launching her right conveniently into Servus.

"Just don't eat theeeeem!~" With a final shout from Isolde as she Kergin continued on his warpath, intent on killing this Knight himself.

Ah, too bad Iva can't tell her about his upcoming deal with Anu to effectively be a spy. The less who knows, the better.
Iva's still busy with his own stuff, so probably not.

depends on how fast he can finish White Dawn, meet with Anu, work out the particulars of their deal, meet with Ferron, and then maybe get dragged off to Gammaton's place.

@A Lowly Wretch
Also for the GM and those else who's interested I updated Iva's repository a bit. Those of you Lovecraft fans may recognize Lazhria's soon to be title.

It had been an interesting ten days. She had learned much both about magic as well as the library itself, and what Iva had intended for her. She had little time to rest, but that was fine. Lord Iva certainly was curious. Was it love she felt? No, probably not. A useless emotion to a scholar. Ones only love should be to knowledge itself. Iva should be respected of course...but it was a scholars duty to discover - and just because he was the God of knowledge, did not mean he was infallible either.

No god was. A fundamental law she quickly came to understand.

"Aw, I'm going to miss our time together." Lazhria replied with a playful smirk. "Try not to cry when I do better than your mages, heh!" Despite her playful tone, it was clear Lazhria was certainly focused and concentrated. She breathed in, centering herself. Over the course of a few days, Iva had imparted some knowledge of the human body to her and how in functioned. Things to strengthen, focus, and steady ones body and mind. She'd need to do more, but it was a good start.

A dull pain began growing in her head. Oh...was this some sort of mind trick? Lazhira smirked.

"You should know...The mind is the realm of Lord Iva." Lazhira smirked. Summoning the arcane prowess that had been imparted to her, the human filled herself with the power, focusing it in her temples. This should be easy - all that would be needed was a calm mind and a barrier and she'd get through this easily. The Sigil on her hand began glowing softly with a pale light as she began focusing

"Oh little Gammy has done such great work!" Iva sat upon his throne, laughing madly as he read over Gammaton's proposed society and laws. Oh this was wonderful, absolutely wonderful! Ah, why do something yourself when you could have others do it for you indeed. "Splendid work! Wonderful! Marvelous! Hahaha! Oh the time of enlightenment draws near! The library will swell, bloat and feed!" He picked up the small blob known as Zhavitri next to him. The B'thkor began to grow over the past few days, to such a size it was now half as tall as Lazhria.

"Heheh! I shall take you with me when we return to White Dawn. We'll have such a wonderful party. A feast! Blood! Entrails decorating the moonlit snow!-eh?!"

His enjoyment was interrupted by someone shouting.

"Dirka!" Iva would have rolled his eyes if he had any to roll across the ground. "Such a killjoy...should just ignore her. Oh but she might entertain..." Iva grabbed the edges of his throne, long, thin fingers tapping impatiently in thought. "...Oh alright! Come in, come in!"

The doors to the library opened, creaking open as warm air left brushed past Dirka. Iva hopped up from his chair, stashing the particulars of his plans for White Dawn on a table nearby. Approaching Dirka, the White flower in hand as he bowed. The B'thkor had followed, poking its body out curiously from behind Iva and staring up at Dirka.

"Sister Dirka! Brother Gammaton is here, though he just finished working for me." He stood straight. "What brings you here, hmm? Are schemes afoot or are you here checking on little Lazhria? She's fine! Still getting her beauty sleep, hehe!"
@Leotamer

Iva definitely wants to meet Ferron as well. I have some things Iva wants to ask him for and whatnot, but his little thing with White Dawn has taken a bit longer than I expected and until that's settled Iva's not going anywhere.

Thanks Gammaton

Should be over in the next post or two. I'm hoping to wrap up Lazhira's thing here in the next post because I need the soon to be non-human for Iva's plans, heh.

Lia, was at a loss.

Who were these people? These creatures? They spoke in odd manners, and the one who recused them seemed not to be able to speak at all? Lia's gaze didn't leave them as more...creatures made themselves known. Along with one human. Lia's gears began humming, starting to move and spin faster as she entered a state what a human might call a 'fight or flight' response. She understood, on some level they weren't immediately hostile and quite likely allies, but being in an unknown place filled with demons with a possibly damaged core was not good.

The human mentioned something about the 'body of Kazzok'. The name was familiar. The Second referred to it sometimes, though she merely assumed it was the mad raving of a deranged mind. Lia found herself moving closer to something at least somewhat familiar to her. A human. She didn't know what this body of Kazzok was, but perhaps he was from a different part of the world and this 'Kazzok' and the second were working together? It was the only way she could logic this out.

One of the winged humanoids mentioned moving faster. They did have a point. Lingering here was likely a bad idea. She noticed the spirits lingering above. Malevolent specters of ill intent. The only question she had, why had they done nothing yet. Some sort of...stasis? She couldn't say. Time fractures were only something the Machine Gods did in legend, but she doubted whoever this stranger was, was an Old Machine.

The human with them said something about this stranger needing words? Odd. Like a recorder? Could he only repeat what he had heard? A thought for another time.

"That bird-demon is right." Lia replied stiffly. "We should get moving before whatever is holding those spirits at bay fades. If it helps, I am Primalia." A pause. "...as a servant model I am unsure how useful I shall be in this jail breaking endeavor, but I will provide assistance where I can."

@Lord Sawsaw2

"Mrf...?!" Ceri gave a startled, muffled yelp as she was suddenly hugged by Mis, though she didn't seem to mind too much. Hugs were nice. She let Mis hug her for as long as she wanted, relaxing a bit in the woman's protective embrace. At times like this Ceri almost thought she was safe, but such thoughts were quickly drowned out by everything else.

"Th-that was nice of them...E-eh? For me?" Ceri quickly took a seat next to Mis in an awkward fashion. "O-oh goodness..." The small girl opened the box, unable to hide her obvious eagerness at having received such a gift. All of them were for her? While Mis went to turned to address Vali and her earlier companions, Ceri simply remained quiet, content to not be noticed for now as she took a strawberry and took a bite of one.

"...Delicious~" Ceri held a hand to the side of her face, enjoyment obvious. "Ehe, thanks Mis!" Now, how should she approach the topic of Ladon? She really wanted to read that book. In all honesty...she had kind of panicked a bit. Caught between actually being totally what she was to Ladon - which was kind of what she wanted to do. Wasn't like he could do anything to her. All she'd really have to do was just act all innocent and sweet like she normally did. Wouldn't be hard to convince everyone...but at the same time, that felt...bad? Was that the right word? And It looked like Mis was having fun with the others, too. She didn't want to interrupt that just for a book. Urgh, what should she do? Ceri grabbed the hem of her hood, pulling it further over her face.

Why was it always so difficult interacting with people? Pausing her enjoyment of the strawberries, Ceri fidgeted, pressing her fingers together as she cast a few glances to Mis.

"...Uhm...uhm Mis?" She almost hoped Mis didn't hear her quiet voice.
