Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Welp," Claire sighed, running a hand through her hair with a smile. "Looks like I need to put more points into luck, heh. Ya did good, Zeal." She recalled her pokemon, considering her options. Well, all out offense had failed against this guy but now she was a bit more prepared for what this flower could do. It was losing health every turn, right? Then that meant, she just needed to stall and let him KO himself and she liked to think she had the perfect candidate for that.

"Trouble?" Claire responded with a hearty laugh. "Like I'ma let some overgrown weeds get in my way." An aggressive smirk began growing on her face as she reached for her next pokeball. "I am pretty tired of those cheap tricks of yours." She just had to hope Ledyba could out speed this flower and get off a Reflect. She could use Safeguard. That would prevent him from falling asleep, too - but if he wasn't fast enough then the chances of success would decrease dramatically. If successful, that would prevent sleep and make it useless but also waste a turn and Ritz would take a pretty bad hit, even with his type advantages.

Well, time for a small gamble that he'd try using Grass Whistle again.

"Alright, Ritz, show 'em how its done!"

"L-led!" Released in a flash of red light, Ritz only had to take one look at Sunflora to stop feeling his wings. "L-ledyba!" He shot a quick look back to Claire who gave the timid bug an encouraging smile.

"Hey! Think of it like this. Its a nice tasty flower for you to snack on."

"...L-ledyba."

"Hey, come on now! You've gotten lots stronger, haven't you?" Claire with a soft tone. "That Sunflora isn't gonna out do us! Just stay calm and listen, alright? I won't let it hurt ya."

"L-ledyba." With some new found determination, Ledyba gave the Sunflora a sharp glare.

"Alright! Safeguard first!" Ledyba took to the skies, keeping some distance from the Sunflora. "Try and avoid that solar beam if he uses it! Follow it up with a Light Screen, then focus on dodging!"

Once upon a clockwork dream...

A warm, baleful air pressed into her body. She could feel her insides overheating just from being near it. Fires crackled around her, as the roars and growls of angered machines howled in the distance creating a hellish symphony. The hateful machines, spitting fire and steam rumbled past her and paying her no mind as she returned their symphony with a cold, deafening silence of her own. She wasn't their target, after all. They left all the machines and robots alone, for the most part. Her metal feet clacked against the ground, scraping against metal of her fallen allies and comrades.

They were dead, weren't they? Moira was overrun...the cyborg fought till the last, and she had been helpless to do anything about it. That stupid, perverted inventor with all the machines was the second to go. Self destructed with a bomb, taking out so many with him just so the others could have a shot. Baylock...he...he...

Anger. hatred. Self loathing for being unable to help.

A glint of steel caught her eye, a sharp drill poking from the rubble. Bending down, she reached for it, taking it by its handle. It wasn't meant to be a weapon, but it felt fall more capable in her hands than a sword, mag rifle or explosive. A simple technicians tool. An item built to repair, fix, and build.

The ground rumbled, the mass of metal, gears, and clockwork loomed over her. It seemed to be speaking with her. Something about the 'First', and how he was the 'Second'. It didn't matter. She couldn't hear. She didn't want too. She just wanted this nightmare to be over with. To go back to Baylock's estate with everyone. Serve tea, mess around and have that stupid inventor hit on her some more. Talk about technology and upgrades with Moira, or just sit and listen to music with Master Baylock.

But such would be a dream, now. Nothing more than a distant memory.

What was she even doing? She should be running. She could accomplish nothing. She was no hero. She was a maid. She didn't have nearly the abilities the other had. What could she do that they couldn't? Anger, was a funny thing. Especially for an Automaton. Rarely felt, but such a potent thing to drive one.

Electricity arced across her body as her gears and servos began overclocking. Pieces of metal around her began flinging themselves away like scared animals, slamming into each other and sticking. She raised the weapon, leaping forward with all the fury she could muster. A bright light...

....

....

A feeling of weightlessness followed, as though she was suspended. Odd for a three hundred something pound automaton to be suspended in something. Did she question the sensation? No, she couldn't. She didn't want to focus on anything. If she could just stop thinking at all, that would be even better. It wouldn't hurt so much, then. A faint clicking noise broke through her thoughts.

"...urgh..."

Her body hit the ground, the stasis wearing off as the lock on the cell opened. For a few moments, she simply laid there. Alive? She was...alive? The Automaton wasn't sure she liked that idea. Her metal hand scraped against the stone of the floor as she tested her appendages. Fingers and arms, worked. Legs, seemed to be running fine. No gears seemed to be loose or jammed. Silently, she pushed herself to her knees and gazed down at her hands.

"..." She flexed her fingers. Ah...there was a small dent in one. She'd need to inform Master Baylock she'd need -

"...ha..." A small, almost inaudible laugh followed. Right. She was alive. He wasn't. More importantly...where was she? She couldn't remember anything after engaging the Second. There was just...nothing. It was like the time Baylock found her in that scrap heap. Her memory from that time was completely gone.

Frowning, Lia slowly pushed herself to her feet. Was she...tired? She felt tired at least. An impossible thing for an Automaton unless something was wrong with their core. Shaking off the thought, Lia took a few experimental steps forwards. It looked like a...dungeon of some sort? Had the Second taken her prisoner? No, that wasn't like him, even if he seemed far too interested in her. She couldn't seem to generate much power here for some reason. Was her core damaged? She'd have to inspect it once she was safe.

Walking out of the cell, Lia's steps were slow, though certain as she picked up the sounds of someone conversing. What she thought were humans though, were most certainly not. A large winged creature of some sort that she had never seen before and some masked individual along with others being released from some sort of prison.

"...Servants of the Second?" She fixed both the stranger and the feathered human with a serious, hostile gaze. "Mm...I suppose you wouldn't be talking or thanking him for rescuing you, if that was the case." Despite saying this however, she didn't take her unblinking gaze off the either of them.
@A Lowly Wretch

Cool, cool. Looking forward to it.

I'll get a post up for Iva and move to the final chapter of White-Dawn's current arc tomorrow.

@Stern Algorithm
Oh yea, do you actually have some laws and whatnot to give to Iva? Or would ya want me to do it myself?

Well this was bad.

Urgh, maybe she should have played more defensively again. Claire hadn't expected that flower to be swift enough to completely change attacks like that or at least Zeal could get off one attack. There was nothing she could do to defend against this, was there? Zeal was asleep and she had nothing that could wake him up. Well this was quite the predicament she was in. Claire frowned, grimacing at the thought. This kid was brutal. Absolutely Brutal.

"Alright," She placed a hand on the back of her head. "This looks bad, but this is when spirit will get us through this! Zeal! Come on, you're not gonna let Del out do ya, are ya?!" She shouted. "Shake off that sleepiness and burn that overgrown weed!"

There was only one thing she could hope for here - the Focus band did its job, and Zeal woke up on the exact same turn or fast enough to dodge the next attack. In other words, she'd need to be really lucky.

"O-oh..." Ceri glanced up at the large woman, head still occasionally poking out from behind her to glance in Ladon's direction. Everyone was fighting. Urgh, not good. At least they weren't focused on her and Glory seemed pretty adamant about not getting involved either. Good for her, then. She really didn't want to get violent. It'd be a bad idea for multiple reasons. Ceri tried hard never to resort using her 'magic'. The more she used it, the more chances someone would have to find out its true nature.

"T-thanks..." Ceri quietly shuffled away from Glory's back, taking a seat next to her. "Ooh, I hope it stops soon." The small mage turned her head towards the table, keeping her eyes off the fight. She eyed Ladon in the distance...did he still have that book? Ceri frowned, glaring briefly in his direction. Well now if he had just left the book in the library, then this would be over. But fine. He wanted to have an angry Mis after him, then he'd have an angry Mis after him. Slumping back in her seat, Ceri grabbed the hem of her hood just in time to noticed a certain lizard approaching.

"Eep! Dreadlin?!" Now Dreadlin was a friendly fellow to be sure, but that didn't mean Ceri couldn't be somewhat intimidated by him. She scooted a little closer to Glory as he walked over. Not out of any ill will, but she didn't like being around him. "H-hi..." Seemed like he didn't notice her, though. That was fine, too. Easier that way. So she contented herself with merely watching the ongoing fight which seemed to rather quickly de-escalate and then escalate into something far more dangerous.

She flinched as Dreadlin began shouting. Well, she couldn't disagree with anything he said. Going about and doing that was rather rude, especially for the people trying to stay out of the fighting. Urf, why couldn't everyone just not fight? All the fighting was bound to attract -

Vega.

Not even the Devil slayer scared her so much. Speak of the devil, and he shall appear as they say. Not seconds after Dreadlin chastised Muko, Vega reared his ugly head. Ceri merely glared at the both of them. Ugh, fine. Let them fight then. Typical humans - always fighting over something.

Keeping her head down, Ceri noticed Mis off in the distance, deciding she'd feel safer around her.

"UH-uhm...thanks...Glory!" Ceri managed to raise the level of volume in her voice just enough to hopefully be heard. "D-dreadlin...!" She gave the lizardman a quick nod before dashing off to Mis. It was easy enough to skirt the edges of the guild hall, avoiding the two idiots fighting.

"Mis...!" Ceri reached the mirror knight, smiling happily at the human with a relieved tone. "Y-you're back...uhm uhm...!" Right, conversation Ceri. She needed to do that. How does one converse again in a totally human and not evil way? Her eyes locked onto the strawberries Mis had. "O-oh...a reward for the...job?" Now, she wasn't saying she wanted some - but yes, she definitely wanted some.
Whew, time skip is a go. Time to have Iva finish up playing with the humans in White Dawn and finish up Lahzria's current little arc.

@Dealdric
Wanna just say Lazhria and the other mage finished up sometime?

@A Lowly Wretch
So...when can I bring in my new goddess here? And how you wanna go about that?

~Ceri~

Dashing out of the Library, Ceri didn't bother closing the door behind her. A joke? Was that what that whole thing was? Well a joke shouldn't make people nearly cry! Not that she was about to, of course not. Not at all. She was a font of emotional stability and was a demon, therefore couldn't do such things. The demon moved swiftly, jumping over one of the pool tables and past a group of guild members playing darts. She was almost certainly faster than Ladon, and as agile as she was, she obviously didn't need to -

"Eeep!" As soon as she reached the stairs, Ceri's feet got caught on her own robe, sending the blue mage tumbling down the stairs with a series of oofs and more squee noises until she hit the bottom of the stairs - only to be met with the sight of a fight breaking out.

"Oh goodness..." Ceri swiftly got back to her feet, quickly spotting Mis among the chaos. Oh dear. She couldn't go and ask for help then. She'd only get in the way. OOh, who could she go to then? Ceri fidgeted on the spot briefly, hands in front of her as she turned and looked quickly around the room. "Uhm...uhm...oh dear..." It was then, she spotted a figure sitting away from the rest who seemed totally and completely uninterested in the fighting. "...Glory...!" Ceri didn't know the human too well, but she always seemed particularly gullib-nice. Perhaps some kinship, with not wanting or liking people staring at her.

Deciding on her target, Ceri bolted across the guild hall's main floor, avoiding anything tossed her way rather easily until she nearly ran face first into Glory's side.

"Ah-ah...!" Unsure of what to say here, Ceri simply bolted behind the large cyborg before poking her head out and glaring at Ladon from across the room.
~Ceri & Ladon~

Location: Second floor Library, Dragon's Heart Guild

It was in all, a pretty calm day by most peoples standards. Most people were probably busy enjoying their time with friends, chatting happily away. Drinking with friends. Making merry.

Those people were not Ceri.

Honestly, maybe she was a little jealous. She could never be like them, after all. She was just too different. Besides, she was almost certain that it wouldn't end well if she ended up getting close to them even if they accepted her.

"..." She silently flipped a page in thick leather tome in front of her. Whoever so happened to peek would notice complicated magical formula printed on the pages, magical theories and other complex things one would normally need many years of education to understand. Oh well. Such feelings were unneeded for her anyways.

"Haaaa..." Yawning quietly, Ceri stretched, the pale white skin of her hands starkly contrasting with her dark blue robe. Maybe she should go find Mis and see about getting a job or something. Leaning lightly on the palm of one of her hands she flipped another of the pages in the book.

The day started pretty good for Ladon. Having already earned more than enough money for both his rent and monthly expenses, the Devil Slayer finally had some time left for his own leisure - something that when coupled with his not really sociable persona often meant either lazing around at his home or simply testing new recipes that he heard about while traveling around.

With that being said, today was undoubtedly a fairly uncommon day according to his usually very home focused routine, as, by virtue of facing a painful lack of books he hadn't finished reading at least a few times in his stash, he was ultimately forced to leave his comfort on favor of the similarly pleasant but inconveniently more crowded library.

Much to his surprise, though, this specific visit to the library was actually pretty lucky when compared to the other ones, as not only the library was relatively empty- probably on virtue of how the climate today was fairly adequate for outdoor activities, though a closet hikikomori such as himself couldn't be sure - but he actually saw the quite soothing scene of Ceri quietly yawning while reading a book.

Truth being said, Ladon didn't quite know why he appreciated being around Ceri, but the fact was that, either due to sharing the secret of her identity as a demon or simply because their personalities aligned quite neatly, the devil slayer actually felt pretty comfortable with interacting with the petite demon, and thus felt absolutely no hesitation as he directly approached her table from behind.

"Lemme guess: you're thinking about something simple in an unnecessarily complicated way again." He said rather directly as he approached the girl from behind, his right hand unconsciously moving to pat her head in the process - a scene that was undoubtedly quite shocking when considering how defensive he normally was, clearly denoting how deeply the harmless appearance of the demon affected him.

"Eep!" Sitting up straight in her chair, Ceri made a quiet squee noise as she grabbed the top of her hood. Who had the sheer audacity to headpat her?! Filthy humans should know their place! Of course, she couldn't say stuff like that aloud. No, it'd draw unneeded attention. Instead, she whipped her head around, glancing up at the human who so dared to attempt such a thing. "L-ladon..." She quietly said, glaring at him from under her hood. Well, this was easier if it was him at least.

"Hmph. Startling people is a good way to get hurt." Ceri coolly replied, in a tone quite unlike what most guild mates would know her for. "And I have no idea what you mean by that." She ran a hand over the pages of the book she was reading, before grabbing the edge of the page and turning it silently. "I'm simply considering work." It was refreshing in a way, not to have to constantly watch her words and behavior around someone. Ironic, since it was a devil slayer. "And what are you doing here? Making sure I don't get up to anything nefarious?"

Haha, if anyone else heard her talking like this they'd think she was possessed or something. An amusing thought.

Ladon couldn't help but show quite the wide grin at Ceri's reaction, being especially amused by how quickly she changed her mannerisms as soon as she noticed that he was the one who surprised her, completely losing her usual stuttering, timid attitude and just letting her poisonous tongue run loose instead.

"Geez, how un-cute. I get you don't feel the need to be careful about hurting my poor feelings, but you could at least keep the stuttering." The devil slayer retorted quite naturally, seemingly unfazed by the demon's hostility. "I mean, it's not like I'm asking you to be all fidgety like you are around Illedrith, but matching your attitude to your appearance for once would be quite soothing." He rambled while once more reaching for the demon's head, seemingly not satisfied with just patting it for a moment before she dodged his hand.

"Anyway, while I'd love to feed your ego a bit more I'll have to deny your assumption." He said while his eyes went through the books gathered in the table, seemingly searching for something that interested him amongst the pile of manuscripts that were left over by less than helpful visitors. "While I'd love to claim that I'm just being a responsible exorcist mage, truth is that I just want to pick something to read while I wait for my food to get done. Got a new recipe for a smoked wyvern brisket that stays in the oven for more than 12 hours and I ain't about to pass those staring at the ceiling." He said, mentioning his normally hidden hobby without even a shred of defensiveness as he didn't bother to keep his guard high around the demon anyway.

"Eh." Ceri showed no emotion to Ladon's words other than a dismissive, tired huff. "Acting like that is exhausting. Sometimes I wonder if its even worth it, being friendly with you humans." From Ladon's perspective, he'd be able to just see a small smirk form on Ceri's lips as she continued. "It's inevitable we'll be at each others throats soon enough anyways. Maybe I should speed up the process a bit?" A light giggle as she reached for the book, closing it gently before jumping out of her chair and fixing her hood in the process.

"Twelve hours, huh?" She grunted coolly, changing subjects in a mildly irritated tone. "So what, you thought I wanted your company? Hah. You're more dimwitted than everyone else around here." Her hand traced over the tomes as she searched for another book. "Go away. I'm not interested. I have better things to do than play nice with you..." her hand paused over a tome before she turned her head up towards the higher up shelves.

"...oh." Oh. That book was really high. She turned her head to Ladon, briefly wondering over her course of action. Grab it herself? No, she was too short. Ask Ladon? haha, like she'd ever ask a human for help. Her head turned back to the bookshelf. Unconsciously, she began to fidget in place. "Uhm...uhm..."

"Not sure about the going at each other's throat part, but I do have to agree that humans are very troublesome creatures." He replied with the same nonchalance as before, seemingly not even registering the dismissive nature of the demon's words. After all, as contemptuous as the demon sounded when talking with him he actually favored this straightforward approach of hers. "As for speeding up the process... Well, you can take me on whenever you want." He said with a shrug, quite obviously not taking her words seriously.

With that being said, even he couldn't help but frown for a bit when faced by the following act of the girl, almost surrendering to her wiles and just taking a book and walking away. Fortunately, that ultimately didn't happen due to the following situation, as the girl proceeded to find herself in a difficult situation right after shooing him away - something that quite obviously amused Ladon, as he didn't even try to hide the smug grin that plastered his face as he watched the girl's predicament.

"Now that's a difficult situation, isn't it?" He said in a teasing tone, obviously greatly entertained by the scene. "Well, I guess it can't be helped. Even someone as mighty as the great Ceri faces obstacles sometimes." He continued while reaching for the book from behind the demoness, his smug grin somehow widening even further as he easily grabbed the manuscript and held it above her head - just high enough so she couldn't reach without having to jump - quite obviously waiting for her to ask him for it.

"...huh perhaps you're not entirely incomp-what are you doing?" Ceri stared up at Ladon and the book. She was even about to thank him for getting it for her! Well, not really, but still! He...he wasn't, right? He wasn't going to stoop this low, was he!? Well this was not how she expected this to go at all.

"Y-you abnormally tall person! Quit that! Hand it over now!" Standing on her tiptoes, Ceri reached for the book, attempting to grab it from Ladon's nefarious grasp. How cruel! How evil! "Aren't I supposed to be the demon here?" A few more taunts and shouts if displeasure left the small girls lips as she attempted to grab it before finally giving in and making a jump for it.

Ladon's amusement only seemed to grow as the girl tried to reach for the book, the grin in his face leaving the fact that the devil slayer was
not even a bit ashamed of bullying the much shorter girl.

"Seems like the tables have turned now, huh?" He said in a teasing tone as he proceeded to lift the book even further, keeping it out of the girl's reach as she tiptoed around. It was about time he teached the demon something about the natural order of things.

"I wonder what you're going to do t earn my help now. If you want a tip, I suggest apologizing for your venomous tongue and cutely asking me to help you. Pretty please n' everything" He continued, once more lifting the book more centimeters above her reach as she jumped to grab it, his satisfied smile leaving his satisfaction about getting to watch the girl desperate attempts crystal clear.

Ceri stopped her jumping, glaring at the ground as Ladon taunted her. He wouldn't be able to see it, but her cheeks were red with embarrassment and anger as she puffed out her cheeks slightly. This infuriating, pathetic, HUMAN. Urgh, wanted her to apologize? Ha, no way was she going to do that willingly. Not even a small chance. She clutched the hem of her hood in an all too familiar nervous fashion as lifted the book just out of her reach once more. This human wanted a lesson in something? Fine then! He'd get a lesson in why you shouldn't make fun of a demon!

"I-I'm..." She replied quietly, words stuttering in that cute fashion that Ladon seemed to want. For the briefest of instants, it seemed like she might actually comply with the request. "...I-I'M TELLING MIS!" She quickly turned, bolting for the door. She didn't know where Mis was, but as long as she found someone else in the guild that wasn't going to be suspicious of her, then she could easily turn the tables, hah! Flawless plan.

Ladon could already feel the triumphant ending incoming at the moment when Ceri lost her toughness and started stuttering, seemingly going back to the timid state she displayed around while interacting with other guild members. It was just obvious that the demon wouldn't be able to keep her arrogant act up for any longer now that he had something she needed, so at this point there was nothing she could do to turn the situation around anyway... Or at least so he thought.

Unfortunately for him, this time he was dealing with an enemy who was away more cunning than he expected, and the demoness actually resorted for a method he couldn't ever predict: She ran away to call for reinforcements. "Wait, what? Come back here!" He said, his face going from surprise to panic quite rapidly as Ceri mentioned Illedrith. He didn't even think twice before dashing towards the girl with all his might in the following moment, quite obviously not even a single bit interested in facing the possibility of murder from the hands of a very pissed mirror knight. "It was a joke, goddamnit!"
~~Seleth~~

@PaulHaynek@Polaris North

The dark elf narrowed her eyes at Mira. They were...asked to spy on him? How dirty and underhanded. Perhaps odd, coming from a dark elf such as herself and while she could understand such methods, it didn't mean it sat well with her at all. Seleth sighed in mild annoyance. This whole thing was just...incredibly annoying, wasn't it?

"Do you make such obviously bad decisions on a regular basis? Or are you just dimwitted?" Seleth chastised harshly. "Friend or not, such a thing is dirty and unscrupulous. What if he found out you were 'plants' or asked to be his 'friend'? That would make anyone both paranoid and mistrustful, would it not? If he found out I can certainly understand why he might ask me such an absurd thing and I can hardly blame him if so." She rubbed the back of her head, unsure what to think of all this information. "Gah...first a weird knight tells me about absurd prophetic dreams with me in them and now this. I don't need these distractions for the tournament." Seleth grumbled.

"You wouldn't happen to know where he is would you?" She asked, a very pointed question, not intending on taking any other answer than the one she wanted. "I'll go seek him out and speak with him myself. I asked his mother to speak with him again at the Cathedral anyways."

~Chieko Okawa~

Hero's District, Priestella
death count 1

Chieko was already halfway out the door by the time Yuuki made his offer of a Hi-Chew. When Flame made his apology - Chieko simply grimaced. Now...she could have accepted their apology. That'd be what a nice person would do here. Unfortunately for them, Chieko had no desire to be nice right now.

"...hmph." Chieko simply scoffed, ignoring them as she rubbed Aki's head. She had better things to do than linger here. "I have a date with Aki-chan. Go play soldier or something." Maybe Yuuki wasn't so bad, but she didn't want to stick around. She wanted to find Hiro and Aerith and figure out what she was going to do from here on out. Wasn't like she had anywhere to go...no money either. Oof...well, as long as she had Aki that would be fine.

"E-eh?" Aki's trembling voice pulled her out of her thoughts. Chieko hands trembled as she held the smaller girl by the shoulders. Crying?! Why was Aki crying!? Who did she need to beat up? Mono? Mono was mean to Aki-Chan?...okay beat up later. No way was she good enough to beat up that guy yet. "It's okay, okay, Aki-Chan. Big sis won't let anything happen to you." She wrapped her arms around the smaller girl, nuzzling the top of her head with her own until the small energetic girl let go of her. Chieko's shoulders slumped, blissfully watching Aki walk over to Wisp and free the cat from his handcuffs. Well, she didn't really care about Mono or what he wanted anyways. Besides, bullying smol cute adorable things should be a crime! A crime! Soon enough Aki had freed them however, and was now clinging adorably to her own arm.

"...Wisp." Chieko greeted the cat person with a neutral expression and a quiet voice, though quickly turned her attention back to the girl clinging to her arm. "Aki-chan, was that magic?" She asked, curiously. Maybe she should find Aer and ask her about adventurer training.

Mie Yukima

Golden Quarter

"...Tsk, no fun." Mie pouted slightly as she was for the most part, entirely ignored. "Oh well. I'll take the sweet compliment even if its entirely untrue, heh." Quickly turning her pout into a grin, Mie watched Mirt curiously. These were not your average travelers at all, and that extremely interested Mie for multiple reasons, not just for alleviating her boredom. The smelled of trouble, or rather, fun as she might better say. Even caused the fur on her tail to stand up slightly - a sure sign of a good time to be had.

"Heh, you however, look like no fun at all." She said to Anyon before running off after Mirt and Donovan, at least to the door of his establishment. She wanted to get a full idea of what was going on here, after all. Those injuries looked pretty bad, too. From what she could overhear, something about some prize fighting. Underground fighting ring? Mie's ears twitched at the thought. Hum. A new source of potentially untapped income. Useful. A name too, Larchmond. He had some warehouses in the Golden quarter. Now this was sounding like an incredibly lucrative, if risky business. By the time Mirt and Donovan exited, she was a few steps away back on the street.

"Money? Now that is something I am always interested in." She smirked, tail swishing back and forth idly. "But tell me...how much profit are we talking, hm? I'm incredibly busy, after all...and you look like the type to get me into a lot of trouble, heh. Not that I mind. This little fox can handle herself." Well, even if he wasn't going to ask she was going to insert herself into this situation whether they wanted her too or not. "And the names Mie. Calling me 'Miss' makes me feel like that old hag over there."
