Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Torrent...!" Dropping to the ground next to Torrent, Ash studied her quickly as she could. This was bad. Second...third degree burns? No Aloe or antiseptics. Urgh, this was bad. These fools! Barely even a day out of the cave and they can't even keep themselves alive! Quite honestly, she was pissed. Once Torrent was stabilized she'd give them all a thorough lecture and talking too about actually thinking because they weren't going to get anywhere without some forethought.

"LOOK! DAT ONE ALMOST DEAD!"

And these goblins were not helping.

A low hiss escaped her mouth as Ash placed a claw over her muzzle. Anger. Annoyance. These goddamn brain dead useless green skinned bastards. Ash, was admittedly easily annoyed. By peoples stupidity. Ignorance. Thoughtlessness. Fighting. Violence. Usually though, she understood she was different in that regard, in her past life she usually simply went with the flow. Didn't do anything. Just let things happen because that was the easiest, best thing to do. But this...? This was just absurd. She had lost her patience, and she was more than happy to take it out on some uneducated goblins.

"...I'm not sure about delicious, Mourn," Ash turned to face the goblins, a cold voice as she glared at all the ones present. "But perhaps I can grind that halfwit's bones into seasoning. I heard goblin eyes are quite useful in Alchemy. Maybe I should confirm that theory." She was done being nice and attempting to make them see. If these fools couldn't understand, then fine. They'd just be crushed and used for progress. She cast a glance over to Orchid.

...well, if this is the way things played out, there was no helping it. Ash was already preparing to strike the moment things even looked like they were about to get even a little violent.
A one day delay on that post, I blame new years.

Lets see how well this works.
~~Seleth~~

@PaulHaynek@AzureKnight

"Ugh!" Seleth grunted as her spell failed, Lisia meeting her spear in equal measure with her blade. The Dark Elf was sent flying to the side, landing on the ground some distance away from Lisia. She really was fast! too fast for her spells to be very effective as long as she had that absurd speed. Perhaps her name had some merit after all. Ugh, damn it! Quickly, Seleth returned to her feet. What could she do? She had to be able to do something, but she had played a bit of her hand far too early, hadn't she? She should have saved the mirror for a key moment so Lisia didn't know about it.

Well, there was still one thing she could potentially do, but it'd be difficult to pull off successfully.

"Hup!" Not letting Lisia have the time to make another move, Seleth quickly copied herself, her clones quickly moving about the field in different directions.

Her gambit here was simple. Get Lisia to attack her true self, but swap places with one of her clones using 'False Person' before she could be injured or harmed. The clone in question she swapped with would have the 'shadow weight' curse built into it and hopefully slow down her opponent.
I'll probs get a post up tomorrow.

Mie Yukima

This senile old man.

"As long as no one drops a name we'll be fine. I know what I'm doing old man. This isn't my first time." She replied back, snickering lightly. Besides, if this kitten did help, even if she found out later - she'd already be an accomplice. Such a thing could be used for leverage. "Though if it was, that'd just mean it'd be more fun."

"Your prize depends." The fox returned her gaze to Elque. "The old folks here are administering some swift justice to some humans who thinks its alright to beat up women." Mie's tail swished idly as she spoke. "My prize is going to be lining my pockets with their money...and maybe anything else I can get my paws on. My job is to get them in and get all these uncouth cretin's all to bet against the lady there in a fighting ring. Quick and easy money, from what I can tell." Thinking about it realistically, Elque didn't really have a job she could do. She really didn't need help in this matter, or in the matters of persuasion.

She was well trained in all these matters after all.

"That's the short of it, at least. I can't really go into any detail." Mie hummed lightly. "...you don't have to participate in the convincing, but truth be told I'm just a merchant. I'm not exactly someone who goes around fighting. Having an extra sword would be most helpful." She grinned playfully. "It'd make me feel safer at least...and maybe this little fox could be convinced to play with the little kitten a bit later."

Rina didn't react much to Penny's appearance, merely studying her with a sharp gaze as she made an introduction and made an offering of alcohol. She was too tired to really care about Penny's potential monster girlness. Besides, as far as she was concerned they were comrades now after fighting that behemoth. Seemed friendly enough, at least.

Then her partner had to go and do something mildly absurd. She knelt on a knee and kissed the back of Penny's outstretched hand. The absurd scene was accompanied by a wind unable to be felt, and metal, rusted petals flowing at an angle from it. Rina simply watched, unable to say anything from whatever it was that was currently happening. Further still, Amaryllis went to make a metal rose, and pin it right in Penny's hair. Rina's mouth turned downwards into a small frown. Why didn't she-

"Can she ever just speak normally..." Rina sighed as Amaryllis bounded off. "What's she's trying to say, Penny, is thanks for the backup and just ask if ya need help with anything else." Stretching, the Hunter mulled over the offer of alcohol briefly. Whisky and rum. Why was there never any Vodka? "I'll have to pass too, duty calls and all that-" A complainant from her stomach interrupted that thought. "But uh, if you wanna by me breakfast I wouldn't say no."

She didn't want to ask for a handout, and she really did want to get back to her duties, but fighting on an empty stomach was a bad idea. She was magically exhausted anyways.

@Lucius Cypher@Pyromania99

"Can you not see her, you idiot!?" Livia seethed, quickly losing all pretense of civility. This uneducated country bumpkin! "Some hag named Nemuno put her under some enchantment spell after she went to underhaven! I need a lantern or light source!" Glancing back to Katherine, Livia grimaced. She was already walking off again. This was bad. Very bad. There was no telling what would happen if Katherine went! Urgh, if only she had noticed sooner she could have taken her to Maeda immediately! Damn it damn it damn it! Livia's eyes turned towards the elf who offered assistance.

"You there, elf, I need your eyes! I'll explain later! Come with me and follow my sister!" In fact, she was already getting too far away for her liking. Ugh! She couldn't do anything to dispel it either, lest Katherine be injured or worse! Damn it, why did Katherine have to come here in the first place!? Why couldn't she just keep her cushy life at the estate so she wouldn't have to constantly worry about her!?

Before Kael could reply, Livia was already making her way to follow Katherine. Light source or not, she had to do something.

Tania was completely unfazed by Bradamante's gaze. The mischievous fey simply giggled and waved at the sentinel, giving him a wide grin as the new arrivals continued their interactions. So many new people. So many new stories to collect. Surely these new arrivals had some to tell themselves. Even a Viedish! A rare sight - reminded her of the trees of her home. Maybe she'd go say hi, heh. She had seen maybe...one before? Live a hundred years and sometimes your memory gets a little fuzzy, heh.

The ever so fashionably late Mister R soon walked into the entry hall, descending down from the staircase. Slow, graceful steps led him down to the floor with the others. Boring. Tania yawned, idly swinging her legs over the ledge of the paintings frame. Ah, he could at least make a little more bombastic entrance. Maybe a little flair? A bit of music? An accompanying trumpet. He really should learn how too or people are gonna think he's just a pushover. If it was her, she'd have an entire illusory band with her, hahah!

Silently continuing to watch, she made a quick mental note of their names. Stephanie, Ar'oa, and Asri. Good to know, heh. Hmm, now what to do, what to do. She should liven this party up a bit or it was going to be an entirely drab, boring, uneventful affair. She could mess with R, but that would be a terrible idea on all accounts. She already played with one of the new girls a bit, so she needed a new target. Hrm. Hmmm.

"Torann."

A simple wave of her head, and the spell was cast. A simple thing, made specifically for auditory illusions. Every time R would attempt to speak from here on out, Tania would play a random sound ranging from a bird call to random nonsense being spoken.

It was never said anywhere Tania was a masterful maker of good decisions.

System:Ash

She soon came upon a couple of bushes, their leaves glimmering with the sheen of misty droplets. The bright green leaves of one bush concealed lumpy roots much like those Torrent and Oberon had been digging for when that beetle attacked, and the other plant's branches hung low with round, swollen bunches of blue colored berries.

Hrmph, no logs or anything on the ground to make use of. At least the rain from the night before seemed to have made any creatures wary of being out this early of a morning. Only a few small critters stirred about the forest floor, worms, bugs, and the like. Nothing immediately notable aside from that beetle she had left the others to deal with. Blackworm, Lampworm, and a common spider species. Seemed if she wanted to learn more about them she'd have to dissect them and learn more about them herself. Expected, but it was always a good idea to look before leaping.

It wasn't until she found a series of bushes did she find something even mildly interesting. Bright, lumpy roots like those Oberon and Torrent had been digging up, and the other had round bunches of blue colored berries. A quick analysis told her it was Wild Topapo andBlue Agrep.

"High in Carbs and high in Vitamin content..." Musing to herself, Ash plucked one of the berries from its stem and gave it a closer inspection. And the Topapo was even mildly magically reactive. Curious. She'd need to keep that in mind. Might be useful later if she could find other magically reactive things.

But before she could think about it, there was a blast, a roar accompanied by a hot wind.

Jumping slightly from being startled Ash fumbled with the Agrep, turning around and looking back in the direction she had come in. That was back in the direction the others had come from...! Quickly stuffing the berry in her backpack, the Pygmy Drake made a dash back to where she had come from. Who was shouting? She didn't recognize the voice, but something about Torrent and dying? It didn't take her long to reach the clearing where they had been previously fighting the beetle.

Oh no. Nonono. What did those idiots do?!

Fire. So much fire, like someone lit a campfire in a drought. Was...Torrent burning? It was difficult to see everything clearly through the flames. The heat from it was enough to feel from even all the way here. Urgh, this wasn't good. Flapping her wings, she lifted herself into the air with little grace.

The heat licked her claws, but she paid it no mind. For a moment, Ash attempted to hover there, bewildered, trying to piece together how it happened. The beetle? But it was dead. Something else? Didn't matter. Anger quickly punted any sort of sadness she was feeling out. Just how badly did they have to fuck up to explode something?! She should have stayed with them! Suppressing a growl, she did quick mental check. Oberon wasn't looking too good himself, but didn't seem to be in any immediate danger. Some goblin trying to put out the fire.

"Oberon! Get yourself together and try and heal torrent!" She shouted, trying to give them some sort of direction, hoping a voice might be good enough to spur them into action. "Mourningstar! See if you can find any healing herbs like in the cave, but if you can't return immediately!" They could worry about the remnants of the fire and explosion later, saving Torrent was their first priority. "You, Goblin! Clear a ground path to Torrent!" He seemed friendly, so perhaps he was another one like them? He seemed like he was trying to help.

She wasn't sure if she could try air lifting torrent out of this mess, but hopefully that goblin could try clearing a ground path that they could both lift her out of.
