Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Dropping my interest here~~

Mage girl heading your way soonish.

Seemed like this was quite the weird bunch. Weird looking human, weird looking mage, and some sorta Youkai. Well then, might as well tag along! Better than staying here in this totally lame ruin, at least. Suzuka followed Links lead, sprinting after him and the odd ghost thing. She caught up with Nanoha, if only to answer her question as they approached the door.

"What? Of course I know Modern Japan! That's like the most basic thing! Ah, its probably this getup...tsk, I wore it cuz I wasn't sure what was happening but its totally killing my high-school girl vibe." In an instant the red clothing vanished...leaving Suzuka wearing nothing but her school uniform and her handy bag. "Aha, there we go! You can totally see my JK power now!~" That should make it clear she totally knew everything important needed to know about modern day Japan, yep. By now they had reached the door, and Suzuka had fallen silent. The air coming from that slightly ajar door was...well, wrong. Smelled worse than an Oni's breath.

Stepping through the door, Suzuka was rather put off by the entire scene. The land itself seemed fine, but she could tell something was simply...wrong about all of this. The dead town beyond was worse than the city they had just been in.

"Ugh, jeez, what's with these totally lame places. My nails are gonna get ruined, aren't they?" Suzuka commented idly as she walked. The only person that seemed present was some odd looking geezer with a poorly hidden grin. "Talk about creepy."

"Waaaah? Ralia!?" Claire hadn't been paying attention to what her pokemon had been doing, completely focused on the bets. She had been utterly oblivious to her teleporting to the top of Valarie's head until she had been swatted off like a fly. Ralia took the blow, making a tiny squeal in the process as she was batted off the queens head. Claire barely managed to catch Ralia in her arms. "What the heck girl?! you can't just go around teleporting on people!" Claire looked down at Ralia, who was now sitting comfortably, pouting a bit, nuzzling her trainers arm in a hurt fashion.

"Jeez, that's what you get. Claire patted the pokemon on the head. "Sorry about that, I dunno what got into her." Ralia, meanwhile, had turned to face Valarie...and stuck out her tongue at the Queen. Ralia then grabbed a lock of Claire's hair, tugging on it lightly to get her attention. "...eh? Cheating?" Claire blinked, before looking over to Valarie.

"....ahaha, don't be silly." Claire bopped Ralia on the head lightly. Cheating huh. Well, of course she trusted Ralia, but there wasn't a whole lot she could do about it now. Besides, she'd win anyways. She was just that confident. She could bet the same as Valarie. She just needed to bet more...but the problem with that was that with 100 coins, Valarie would have 1060 left. She only had 940, for the sake of the bet. If she was gonna lose, might as well go for broke.

"...I'm gonna do something probably really stupid here." Claire said with a light nod. "100 on Grassball."

Ooh, well this was enlightening. It wasn't perfect, and it looked like it wasn't quite the magical staff she wanted. According to the analysis, there was something missing in the Stones integration. She only seemed to get one shot with it - either a powerful spell, or a free mana recharge. Either could be useful in a life or death situation. Good, then. And it seemed the spear part was just as useful. She just needed to get used to using it. She may not be able to use it so well for now, but it was a good thing to have...especially the information for later usage.

Ash coiled her tail around the spear, the mana crystal being held towards the ground, with the pointy bit held upwards. She made a long, sweeping, overhead motion with the blade, extending her tails reach as far as she could. Making another attempt, she made a swiping motion behind her. Hm, with enough practice, perhaps she could cover her backside with such a movement...

A thought for later.

Lifting the spear with lesser force, she placed it against the far wall of the cavern. After that, she felt ready to try something else.

Forming another Mana Orb in her claw, she once again activated her Mana Vision and Mana Sense. Once again, she formed a Rank I Mana Orb. Observing the different colored squares, Ash took a moment to consider her options. Moving one to the center seemed to make the base Mana Orb stronger. 'Poisoning' it with an outside source seemed like it changed it, but exactly how she didn't know. Assuming this was like a 'base' element...like say, Hydrogen then it was already a very basic and common element that could be combined with a number of things to create things such as water...but then, what if it wasn't?

What if it was say, more similar to water in that it already had another element attached to it?

Which would mean she needed to get rid of any extra 'elements' jumbling it up in order to change it into something else. Assuming this didn't just make the orb dissipate and lose cohesion entirely...She was making a lot of assumptions here, but such was the scientific method. Theory, test, failure or success, new theory, new test.

Using this assumption, Ash focused on the squares that were the same purple color as the Orb had been after she had contaminated it. Slowly she began tugging at any square that didn't take that hue, removing it from the equation and watched the ensuing result.

I hate to say this, but with me getting a job recently, I have to cut back on some RPs. Since i don't really know how much time I'll have yet, I didn't want to jump ship, but I feel like It'd be better to go ahead and do so then try and stress about juggling RPs I just don't have time for any more.

That is to say, I'm really sorry about this but I'll be having to drop the RP

Ah well, no worries mate. If you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it. No sense in dragging it out.

"Rrra?!" Ralia puffed out her cheeks as her playmate was taken from her, glaring up at Valarie with a mild look of annoyance. The dodrios left their started areas, bolting down the racetrack. Claire leaned eagerly over the table, watching the race with rapt attention as the one she bet on fell behind.

"Agh, that's another loss." Claire visibly deflated as she lost the second bet. She was now 200 coins behind. Geh, was her lucky streak over? Was it just beginners luck, as they say? She was beginning to lose her confidence a bit, mulling over which one to bet on next when the new Dodrio was allowed in the race. Inhaling sharply, Claire decided to throw logic out the window.

"Alright, 500 on the new guy!"

Meanwhile Ralia teleported on top of Valarie's head.
