Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

A prank? Yes, she supposed most people would come to that conclusion, wouldn't they? After all, this was an utterly absurd situation in the end, but it didn't take into account many factors. Though, perhaps this boy was less influential and easier to get a hold of than she was. Not everyone could be the heir to a crime syndicate security group.

"Prank, hm...I suppose that is one way to look at it-"

Suddenly the lights cut out, and something was pulling on her...chest? Ruruka didn't seem to visibly react as she was pulled along in the darkness. Well, a little skinship wasn't really enough to perturb her. If anything, she was a bit flattered. Not that anyone would ever hear her speak such words. Soon the lights were flicked back on, and their oh so mysterious benefactor showed herself...groping her chest along with that of another girl, who was understandably a little flustered by the actions of Manaka.

Ruruka's own expression was unintelligible as always.

"Hm...You know, some would say my body type would be the ideal." She flashed a small smile towards Manaka. "The ideal that certain desperate sorts would be very much attracted too." A light giggle as she took only a few steps away from Manaka before taking a look at the others. Was she teasing or was her airy, icy tone was meant as an insult? It was difficult to tell.

"Now now, lets not be so harsh on miss Manaka. We don't really know the details of the past, so we can't put all the blame for everything that happened on Miss Manaka quite yet, can we?" As emotionless seeming as ever, she turned back to Manaka. These people were being quite unreasonable, weren't they? "Unlike the others here, you have hired the Night Parade so the demons will aid you." Perhaps that's why she contacted her. She likely knew of Rashomon's more shady practices and realized that they wouldn't have many qualms about more...underhanded dealings. "...so long as we are properly compensated."
Aight, I'll get to work on something here and will hopefully have them up either today or tomorrow

Damn, she missed. The rat was far more agile than she gave it credit for. Hmph, damn animal thinking it could get the best of her-! She hissed, quickly switching her dive to avoid colliding with the ground, quickly flapping her wings and lightly touching the ground. Getting a running start, she took off after the rat once more.

"Digbie!" She growled as the rodent tried to make off with their goblin. Torrent and Oberon were quick to react, the pixie casting a fireball in front of the rat to slow it down. Torrent leaped through the fireball like some sort of possessed fire lizard, before literally once again, exploding. Ash mentally facepalmed, but now wasn't the time for that. Straining her wing muscles to catch up with the other Lizard, Ash quickly prepped two healing spells, using Dual Cast and Minor Heal, one on Torrent, the other on Digbie, just in case.

St. Peterburgh, Russia
-- // JANUARY, 23

Getting into the Hermitage was easy. Just a bit of wall scaling, a bit of finesse with her corrosion, and sneaking about. While three took the first floor, she had made her initial entrance point on the third. Better to split up like that and meetup in the middle, but this was odd. So very odd. Walking briefly through the hallways of the third floor, she expected something. Any sort of defenses, but there was none to start with, which more than spooked eleven. Gave her a bad feeling, twitchy feeling, moreso than usual. Like being locked in a pitch-black room.

"Keh..." She exhaled, lowering the mask around her face slightly, grinding her teeth together. No reason to keep that up here. Suppressing her powers was always unpleasant. Like sucking in her breath to fit into some clothing and holding it indefinitely. She could get used to it, but it was always annoying. With a long, pleased sounding sigh of relief, the cloud of Miasma around Eleven began subtly growing thicker. It'd take a few minutes to get up to a decent resting place, but for now she wanted to find good access to the ventilation.

She had been skulking about long enough to find the central air unit. Pumping this entire building full of toxic air would be easy, all she'd need to do was - The lights in the building flashed on. Music began playing. She quickly glued her back to a wall, staying just out of sight. What the hell? One of Eleven's eyes opened wide, while the other remained in a squint as she stared at the animatronics springing to life, the robotic soldiers quickly forming up and patrolling the floor in a group of five. A perfect formation, with each watching another back, covering their flanks. Finding a good position to just take one out quickly and quietly wasn't going to be an option, and fighting directly was going to be...implausible. Not without a bit of help from three.

Hissing lightly, Eleven retreated. That armor looked thick and heavy, too, so simply weakening it a bit enough to penetrate it was going to be difficult. What sort of security was this? It certainly wasn't normal...but that was fine, and she really didn't want to fight a walking mass of metal. She just needed to evade, wait for them to be weakened and then deliver to them a swift death. She was quickly becoming hungry and angry. Clicking her tongue impatiently, she moved swiftly into the room where she had located the central Ventilation.

They had just checked the room, so she had a few moments to give this a try this. If those things were everywhere, then being able to give three a bit of an easier time would be for the best, and if there was some mastermind here, it'd spook him as well, hopefully.

So Eleven got to work.

ripping off the ventilation covers, she began pumping the toxins into the vents. The mist around her swirled as she inhaled, taking a large breath of air before exhaling. A thick stream of mist left her mouth, forcing its way into the central ventilation duct. Eventually even the pipes would corrode if they were exposed long enough, but it should be enough to deliver a fairly large dose to everywhere in the Hermitage.

Jormungundr Cathedral

"Ah, that's good." Ruruka replied in her usual manner, a faint smile crossing her features. What she meant by that, she didn't entirely elaborate on. "I was simply wondering your thoughts on our situation, hm?" Her expression changed to one of mild seeming interest. "A gathering of Hackers by this mysterious serpent, who went so far as to contact the Night Parade."

If anything, she did seem interested in Issei's response judging from facial expressions alone, though her airy, faint smile hadn't really left her features this entire time if one had been watching.

"Whoever this 'Manaka' is, they truly must be rather...shall we say, desperate?" Of course, her own thoughts on the matter weren't truly going to be given even if asked directly. Where would the fun in that be?
~Izel~

"Do not worry, tiger." Izel smirked. "This one isn't one to let a cute girl simply run from me, ufu~" Obviously, that was not intended to be as questionable sounding as it was. "I won't let her out of my sight." As Byron left, Izel continued to playfully stroke Sylphies hair, humming a light hearted tune as she did so. She pulled Sylphie from her bosom, letting the girl have just a moment to breathe a bit easier.

"Now now, Sylphie. You heard him." Izel said to the demigod with a smile. "Behave yourself just a bit, hmm? If you do..." She lowered her voice, taking a decidedly lascivious, suggestive tone "...I'll play with you all night~"
~Suzuka Gozen~

@Crusader Lord@PKMNB0Y

"..." Suzuka's eyes widened at Link, giving him a look that was halfway between confusion and surprise. What in the name of heaven was he doing? That was...looting, right? But what was with the bad angry sounding shouting? He was way to calm about all of...whatever it was he had just been doing. His explanation wasn't any better either. Was that just normal where he was from?

"Seriously? That sounds super convenient. Like, waaaay to easy - " A clicking noise filled the air. Suzuka spun, Kenmyouren slicing the air in front of her. A metal clang was heard as sword met crossbow bolt, slicing the bolt right in half. "Ahah, talk about rude! A couple undead, huh? What the hell is this lame-o horror show?" Well fine, then. If they were attacking her, then they'd get heavenly punishment worthy of their transgressions.

"Hey pointy ears, looks like we got some freaks here. I'll clean 'em up easily, 'kay?" Before Link could assess the situation himself, Daitsuuren and Shoutouren manifested around her. With a simple motion, the blades flung themselves forwards towards the nearest skeleton. Suzuka leaped after them as they reduced one of the undead to a pile of dusty armor.

"Outta my way, freaks!" Before any more of the undead could react, Suzuka took a graceful step backwards. Gold and silver flashed, her two blades turning to another of the undead, cutting through it all to easily before she thrust Kenmyrouen forwards, impaling its head upon a nearby wall. The only problem was she was now pretty surrounded by the shambling undead. A number of them made a motion to attack - Suzuka jumped into the air, her feet landing on Daitsuuren, using it as a platform to put herself above the undead and completely avoid their attack.

"Annoying!" Leaping to Shoutouren, Suzuka spun back towards the horde, bringing Kenmyrouen down upon the skull of another undead. If Link wanted to say something, now was probably a good time before she reduced all of them to dust herself.
~Claire Blackwood~

@PlatinumSkink

"F-fourth place?!" She hadn't really expected to truly win, but come on! What happened to second? Or third! This was definitely for training, but...Claire took her prize with as much pride as she could. Ralia gave her trainer a pat on the head from her shoulder perch as she walked out of the arena. Well, no sense in dwelling on it. Couldn't win them all, heh. Just try harder next time was all she'd need to do.

"Hmmph~" Walking back out onto the street, Claire stretched. Where to next? She couldn't think of anything else in Northern Worldedge she wanted to do at the moment. She'd need to come back and check out the contest stuff later, but she needed to get her cute butt moving. Getting back on her bike, she zoomed down the streets, finding an Abra and teleporting herself back to the Southern districts. Might as well see about doing what she was here first, that is, talking with Professor Dunstan.

Once back in the information district, she walked up to the lab, not really planning what she was going to be doing. Why was she even here? She already knew what she had to do, but she felt like she did need at least, a bit more information about the trio. Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit. Knowledge was power, as they say, and if she learned something, it might be a bit easier for her to get their favor or learn about them.

How would she even get his attention? Claim to have met Uxie...wait a minute, that wouldn't be a bad idea, would it? She had it recorded on her pokedex. She could...well a little white lie never hurt anyone, did it? Noupe.

Ralia poked her head.

"Alllright!" Shoving open the doors, Claire made her way inside the lab. "Heeeey! Is professor Dunstan here!? I gotta talk to him about some important stuff!"

Rashomon Greenhouse

"The Job was finished then?" Finding Ruruka in the greenhouse wasn't unusual. It was her usual hangout spot - either that or the Central Server room which just so happened to be just a few short steps away, one building over. She was currently admiring some very beautiful Kadupul flowers. They weren't blooming just yet, being the nocturnal bloomers they were, but even so the rare flowers were exquisite.

"Yes, Miss Kozuki." The suited man replied. "The client has paid us in full. They assured us next time that they will not attempt defaulting on their contract."

"Wonderful then. Dismissed." With a brief salute the man left, exiting the greenhouse quickly and leaving Ruruka alone once more with just her laptop and plants. Ah, how boring. She really wanted something a bit more entertaining than this. All this security work was nice and easy, but she wanted a challenge. Something a bit more...exciting, yet so far everything had been so utterly boring. Taking a seat on a chair, she turned on the Laptop and logged on, beginning her usual routine of dark-web browsing and snooping in places she probably shouldn't, but of course, as a security expert it was always a good idea to know the turf, so to speak.

"...ah?" Well this was unusual. Spam? Some scammer that got her number from some hack? No, that wasn't it.

Ruruka Kozuki,

Hello there~ You don't know me but I know all about you. Rashomon sounds like a Digimon now, perhaps your family should consider changing it. That's beside the point I suppose. Perhaps you have heard of organized Hackers. From what I've gathered, you are rather good at what you do. Seems you're fairly handy with Digimon. Perhaps we could help each other. You want information on Digimon, and Jormungundr wants you.

Now, should you agree, come to Akiba. There's this small net/EDEN cafe called "Net Sheep Cafe". You can figure out where exactly. When you get there, use the attached barcode and you'll get some free usage there. It's a safe place, guaranteed by yours truly. Security is top notch and if you happen to get hacked, it's your money back. When you get into the system, check your Digivice and you'll receive a URL to go to. We'll meet there.

Jormungundr. There wasn't a single soul in Eden or security work who didn't know of that name. A small smile crossed her lips.

"Eh-heh. Ruru-chan seems happy." A happy sounding, though airy and distant sounding voice spoke up in one of the ear pieces she was wearing.

"You know she hates it when you call her that." A deeper, mildly bored second voice followed.

"Do I, seem happy, sunflowmon?" She tapped a few keys on her phone, quickly typing out her reply.

"Yep yep! Did something good happen, Ruruka?" Sunflowmon replied, before turning her voice back towards her partner. "Don't be silly, Togemon, my adorable Ruru-chan would never be angry at me, hehe!"

"I suppose you can say this is a good thing. Something interesting did just happen, after all." She finished her reply, taking a quick look over her response to make doubly sure that's what she wanted to say. "I'm sure you both know Jormungundr. Apparently they request my presence." She hit the send button. She was under no illusion that it might not make it. Whoever sent it likely covered their tracks well, making it untraceable and highly likely any response wouldn't be read, but on the off chance it was delivered, no harm and not being a little civil about it.

Curious. You seek the Night Parade? What purpose could Jormungundr have with the 100 demons? Is what I would normally ask, but it seems you desire the princess herself. Interesting. Normally you'd have to go through so much red tape or get lucky and have me take a job on a whim...but you have intrigued me. If its security or my hacking skills you desire, of course I am one of the best choices, if not the best...very well then, consider me there, Jormungundr. We shall see if the serpent and Oni can work together.

"Jormungundr, seriously!?" Sunflowmon and Togemon shouted in unison. "Uh-uh, why are asking for you?"

"Aren't they the bad guys here? We gonna go beat 'em up?"

"Now now, Togemon." She chuckled lightly. "Lets see what they want before anything else. This could be quite an interesting endeavor." She mused lightly, closing her laptop. She had a few preparations to make now.

@Duthguy
Akiba was a place Ruruka was intimately familiar with. Being into computers, electronics, and such things, how could one not be? It was almost a requirement. It was a rare treat to come here herself when she was busy with her plants, digimon, or working, so she decided to make the most of it and see if she could find and purchase anything interesting.

"Hey! That's Yuzurin! That's Ruru-chan's favorite - bweh?!" Sunflowmon shouted over her earpiece, loud enough for almost everyone in the cafe to hear, before audibly being clocked by Togemon. For the love of - how did that get turned up so loudly!?

"Ahem..." Ruruka's face turned a shade of red as she looked at the receptionist, fumbling with the earpiece settings to turn it down. "I do believe my presence was requested here." After being shown to her cubicle, Ruruka took a seat. "Be on standby, you two." She said, slipping on the headset. She had done this hundreds of times before, though why she needed to come to a cyber cafe was beyond her. She supposed it made tracing their own locations harder, but it was likely a security measure on the part of whoever called them here as well.

Ruruka woke up in her Greenhouse/Central Server room that functioned as her base in Eden. Seemed everything was as she left it. She could hear Togemon and Sunflowmon doing their usual comedy routine in the background, so she left them alone for now. After checking the security logs and making sure there weren't any job requests sent through the official Rashomon Servers, she input the URL, and was whisked away...

...to a Cathedral?

"Hm~" Humming pleasantly to herself as she was greeted by the two sisters, Ruruka glanced over the others idly. No one too interesting looking, it seemed. Curious. With a name like Jormungundr she expected something a bit...darker. Not quite as oppressively holy looking. Perhaps their leader just had bad design taste, then. She should probably speak to some of the others. Approaching the only boy there, Ruruka greeted him in her usual calm fahion.

"You there, plain looking boy." She offered Issei one of her small smiles. "Perhaps would you be willing to let me ask you a question?"
