Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Hm?" Ash didn't turn her attention away from her material collecting. "Ah, yes. Poison magic is a thing. I recently managed to discover it." To demonstrate, she formed the silvery sphere of poison in her claw, holding it out briefly for Oberon to inspect should he desire it before tossing it to the side. "I'm hoping to develop it further. I also managed to pick up a few other skills in the process...oh, and I made a rather nice spear using some frog parts." She stopped for a moment, smiling and seemingly doing a bit of self praise before moving on. "If you want, I can show you later. It's getting a bit late and I'd like to finish seeing what useful parts this Rat has - huh?" As the experience progress was pulled up, Ash simply stared at it, narrowing her eyes at it in mild bewilderment.

"...Well that's weird." How on earth did she get to 80% already? Not that she was complaining, but the only thing she had done was beat up a rat! Well, and learn those skills. Did acquiring those skills also give her exp? That seemed like an entirely too easy system to game. If so, all she'd have to do is simply tick over the skills she was working on then get a massive exp boost.

Hm.

"Ah, sorry, something just surprised me. I have some training I want some help with, though we can likely do that tomorrow if we have time." She turned her attention back to the rat. The rat itself didn't seem like it had as many useful parts as the frog. Understandable, given how badly they had beaten it. Still, she could easily find a use for a good number of these things. Especially those large bone plates. It might have been primitive, but armor could be useful. If she could cure it with simple salt and alcohol, or some other agent, it could make at least for some decent armor.

Finally done with the dissection, Ash pulled it from the corpse and back into the shelter. Didn't want any predators finding it, though it would likely start to rot by tomorrow since it wasn't preserved. Still, it'd do for tonight. Eating some of the raw meat, she would also take a moment to quench her thirst and first meditate to refill her MP.

She was no stranger to all nighters, of course, and this shouldn't be any different. While she did want to try new things, she decided for now she'd focus on building her more direct offensive abilities. With some base abilities to work with, this should be easy enough. First, she'd Mana Slice and Mana Vision, seeing how it was built before forming the toxic Poison Splash. Ash began attempting to form the silvery orb of Poison into the same shape as a Mana Slice. Taking the mana particles, she would attempt dragging it so it would resemble the same structural makeup of the Mana Slice.

After either successfully making the skill or making enough progress to feel comfortable she turned her attention back to something she had tried when she was back in the gave. Summoning another ball of poison, Ash dipped her claws into the acidic substance, no doubt wincing as the acid ate away at her own claws. Without a proper target, she simply used the rock wall of the shelter to practice, cutting into the rock. Perhaps this would also serve to sharpen her claws?

After a few minutes, Ash would once more return to Meditation, refilling her MP and resting a bit as she took another drink form the stream and took another bite of the rat meat they had just gotten. Sleep would be good, but...annoying, really. She could feel her body getting sluggish already. It seemed this body wasn't suited for it, but perhaps there was something she could do to lessen the amount of sleep she needed. There were many fantastical tales associated with meditation. Out of body experiences. Astral projection. a lot of pseudoscience that perhaps, in this world, wasn't quite so fantastical.

Deciding this would be her final experiment for the night, Ash found herself back int the shelter, towards the back with the stash of things she had stored. Closing her eyes and breathing in, Ash began meditating. Instead of just trying to passively regenerate however, the Pygmy drake actively attempted to 'feel' the ambient mana in the area around her. She knew it was there, she had seen it. If she could absorb it instead of distributing it, perhaps it could aid the meditation process. After a few minutes of testing on whether or not it'd be feasible, she moved onto something else.

Just a small test. She tried to imagine the shelter. The pile of loot and bones, Oberon and Digbie, the walls and layout. She began trying to imagine herself moving, trying to forcefully project her consciousness outside of her main body. It was a silly thought, and she didn't even think it'd work - but there was no harm in trying something like this.

Either way, eventually the Pygmy drake would get tired like any other, and drift off into sleep.

Ash was woken groggily by the horn. Rolling over, the Pygmy drake yawned, stretching her claws much like a cat would before sitting and scrunching her nose. That...was close. What on earth was blowing a horn - oh right. That goblin tribe that had stumbled onto them yesterday. They were supposed to be coming this morning, huh.

Mixed feelings aside, Ash dragged herself out of the shelter, towards the stream for an early morning drink before taking a small bite to eat for breakfast from any unspoiled meat, or meat that looked at least halfway decent to consume. Seemed like she was the first one up. Frowning a bit, she picked up her Spear with lesser force, doing a few small mental exercises with it to shake off the early morning grogginess. Twirling it in the air as fast as she could, stabbing it forwards, before quickly yanking it back. She even attempted picking up the small pebble she had found in the Rat, attempting to exercise her ability further and making it stronger and more fine tuned.

"Well, would you believe me in saying I'm just a fan?" Ruruka mused with a light smile in reply to the spider Digimon. "I've been following Muse for quite awhile now...though I certainly didn't intend to end up back stage. I could have sneaked out, I suppose, but where would the fun in that be?"

"Eh...Ruruka but you said these guys' taste in music was worse than a Numemon."

She chuckled lightly, ignoring her digimon.

"Ahem...but as a...private security contractor, you get some difficult request sometimes. I was to apprehend an old woman with a penchant for taking panty shots, harassment, and well, I'm sure you can imagine other things. Unfortunately the cow was a bit craftier than I thought. She dumped me in a Direct Link and I ended up there. I have no idea how she got the access, but she apparently is far more skilled than I thought."

She really hoped Manaka was listening, if only because her own satisfaction. For now, Ruruka let herself be carried. She had no doubt she could escape if she really wanted. Wasn't like anyone in her organization would allow her to be handled as such if she sent the word.

"Jeez, you really love your terrible jokes." Suzuka laughed again, though it was noticeably less than his last attempt at flirting with her. "And like, rude. Why would I want those gaudy old jewels? It's not even designer brand!" Suzuka harrumphed as though that was obvious. "A cute high school girl like me has a reputation to keep, knight dude. I only wear the latest and most popular stuff." This was taking too long. Sitting around here just watching him...loot, while entertaining, really was getting old. Her eyes shifted deeper into the crypt.

"Okaaaay!" Suzuka grinned. "Time to move! I wanna finish up and find me a mall. I wonder what kinda stuff is popular here..." Before link could make a move to top her, Suzuka already began moving deeper into the crypt.

So they fell, and Eleven took the opportunity to follow them to the second floor. She landed on top of one of their heads, once again using her blade to pierce the space between its neck and body. Latching onto its head with her claw from behind, she pulled. With super human strength and using her blade as leverage, she attempted to rip off the things head before they realized what was happening...but that damn little rat had a few more tricks up his sleeve.

"The fu-gah-" Before she could get a decent grip on it, the deafening noise caused Eleven to flinch yanking hard on the things head. Defensively, she pushed off its body, landing a few feet away as she grimaced. "Geh...this guy...is really...going to have to join me for dinner when I find him, keh-heh..." Eleven chuckled darkly as she coughed twice more, standing up and positioning herself in front of them.

This smoke was making it hard to breathe, even for her. Her lungs could handle, indeed, she could even breath her own acid without a problem, but whatever this was, it was almost suffocating. Didn't help that the lights were out, down here, either. Still, his little trick worked. She lost her chance at an ambush, and this smoke was effectively nullifying her acid. Seemed once again, all she could do was run here.

She needed to keep calm, inhale as little of this as possible and either find Three, or where this little rat was hiding - so she made her way to the first floor.

"Gotta admit, pointy ears, that was a fun little trick." Before she could even finish the sentence, however, Link had already proceeded to loot the area like a madman once more. Suzuka could only watch in mild astonishment as in a matter of a few seconds he had already pilfered through half the shoddy equipment the zombies had dropped. In the span of a few more, he had already taken everything he seemed to have taken interest in and then offered to share the 'loot' with her.

"Aahaha, what?" The high school girl laughed derisively. "Why would I want a buncha junk? Like, that stuff smells worse than another stupid foxes' cooking. You seriously plan on using that?" She grinned wolfishly at Link. Obviously if he had said yes, she'd probably give him grief for it.

Ruruka's first thought, was that this girl was utterly adorable. As she was flailing and demanding Ruruka get off her stage, the wealthy heiress could only watch with amusement. An adorable little kitten, really, was what this girl reminded her of. And then she was promptly insulted and shoved off stage. A reaction most people would have expected. Ruruka though? Considering her mildly self centered and spoiled upbringing, she had been expecting a mildly different reaction.

Hm.

Oh well, this was a curious happening either way. Soon she had already been surfed across the crowd, coming face to face with an Arukenimon. An odd looking digimon to be sure, but also equally fascinating.

"...Hm, curious. Having a crowd of people carry me was quite an interesting experience I could get used too." She flashed one of her small smiles to the Arukenimon. It might have become obvious Ruruka had zero sense for danger or common sense at this point, or if she did, she really, really didn't care. "I don't suppose you'd let me stay and watch the show?"

She didn't really know what was going on. Some sorta magecraft? That was the only explanation. So this guy was some sorta mage swordsman?

"Alright, alright, pointy ears...hmm, just keep 'em off me while I do it." She just had to hit it right? Well, fortunately for Link, she could do that quite well. Kenymouren and Shoutouren hit the now frozen in time Daitsuuren. She didn't expect much from the action, but surprisingly the bright yellow energy turned to a bright orange with only two hits. So she kept it up, making sure each, powerful strike of her blades were angled towards the undead shambling towards them. The Aura then vanished, blinking out of existence as quickly as it had come into it.

Daitsuuren shot down the hall, its already fast spinning blade moving faster than even she could keep up with. The golden sword shot down the hallway, ripping and tearing the undead completely in half. Instantly the undead seemed to be reduced to nothing but a mess, their shredded bits being whipped away and clearing a path for them. Reaching the end of the hallway, Daitsuuren slammed it into the far wall, embedding it into the aged stone and almost taking it down with it before the blade shimmered out of existence.

"...woah."

The other girl didn't even say hi before she pushed Ruruka off of her, sending her rolling onto the floor with a quiet oof. Ruruka sat up, rubbing her side a bit. So rude, and she was being perfectly helpful. Standing up, she finally took a look at the place.

"Jeez, Ruru-chaaaaan! You had us worried there!" Sunflowmon's voice came over her com. "What happened? You got like, shot into a new server. Need good 'ol Heli to back ya up?"

"No, I do not." Ruruka replied to her Digimon. "I'll call you if I need anything. Just remain on standby with Cecil." While she had the brief chat with her digimon, it seemed Reiko was quick to asses their situation. Ruruka poked her head out the door, frowning slightly. Huh. Well, this was indeed, troubling. Siren was a small time hacker group. Rashomon considered them to not even be worthy of their time, but it was always prudent to keep tabs on even small groups. She almost got the feeling Manaka wanted them to get caught. Judging from Manaka's personality, she half expected the older woman to be watching them and giggling at their misfortune.

"Hmm...you all do that. I will make a distraction so go whenever, hm?~" Disguises? What was she, a child? She could handle herself, and no way in hell was she wearing such dingy looking clothing. If she was gonna dress in punk rock, she'd at least do it well. In fact, maybe she should actually come dressed as such at some point? There was a certain charm to the style, hm. So ignoring the others, even if they had a protest, Ruruka walked out on stage...right up next to the punk rock girl.

"Ahem..." She cleared her throat a bit before joining the shouting. "SI-REN! SI-REN!" She'd continue this until she had everyone's undivided attention. A single arm rested just under her chest, while the other elbow was resting on her hand, angled upward so her hand was in line with the corner of her mouth. "Ahem, cough, ugh, I should work on my vocals a bit more..." Ruruka began, mouth curling into her usual small smirk. "Aha, that aside...Hello, everyone. I'd apologize for interrupting your lovely show, but that would be a lie." She glanced out over the audience. "Now, I seem to have gotten a bit lost with a direct link. Could the colorful girl in front of me be kind enough to show me the exit, hm?"
