Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Eating the food, Klara simply watched and observed the others for a bit. Keeping to herself as usual. She had no real reason to want to interact with them and she certainly wasn't one for starting a lot of conversations, at least not with people. On the other hand, though, she hated sitting around doing nothing, too. All this talk of data and of this being a digital world though, made her curious. If what she observed Dustin messing around with back in the field then perhaps they could affect this world somewhat?

"Hey, doormon." Klara would roll off the couch, sitting up and shooing away Tsukaimon as she'd walk over to their benefactor. "Im curious. What was that stuff back in the field that Dustin was messing with? It didn't seem like anything readable, but it seemed like being able to change it made something happen." She had ideas on what it was, of course but she didn't want to just start brute forcing something like a twelve letter password manually. Doing that once was enough to drive anyone crazy.

Tsukaimon, meanwhile having enough food decided that they might as well start getting up to something fun, and it wasn't hard to pick out a target. The lone Augmon. The purple digimon would sneak up on the digimon, proceed to pounce on top of its head and lay there, using its paws to squish the sides of Augmon's face.

"Awww, all alone? Where's your partner at? How pathetic~" The purple digimon snickered. "Must not have liked you or somethin' huh?"

Klara almost thought about wandering off and not going with them. This was getting increasingly absurd and truthfully she wasn't a fan of the company present. Still, heading off by herself...well, she didnt have any money if such a thing existed here, she had no idea where she was, no idea how to get back, and she didn't fancy running into trouble alone. What did get both her attention and interest, though, is what Dustin was doing. Shed idly watch as he messed with the...code of the car? It was intriguing, and she couldn't help but to let out a muffled laugh when he managed to somehow make a car effectively do a somersault without landing back on its feet.

"Wow, didn't know you were a mechanic, huh." Klara snickered as she'd walk back over to Dustin, listening halfheartedly to the others introducing themselves. She hadn't a clue who this idol was, certainly likely didn't play any kind of music she listened too. Tsukaimon would take a moment to go inspect the car himself, poking the seemingly inanimate object with one of their paws. It was...not moving right? Definitely not.

"Klara." She'd introduce herself simply, not really needing or wanting to explain further. She wasnt anyone important, really, and didn't want to be the center of any attention. She was far too focused on what the immediate future seemed to hold. "Are...we going to have to do walking? Ugh, nature...my mortal enemy..."

"Why...can't we take the EAGLES." She was not built for hiking. She was built for staying inside on a bed all day, lounging around and doing anything that didn't involve physical exertion. By the time they had reached the manor, Klara was thoroughly winded, while Tsukaimon had an easy time of it, deciding to use Klara's jacket pockets as their personal bedroom for now considering how big they were. To say nothing of lugging her laptop around. It wasn't exactly the lightest thing in the world considering its age and bulk.

At least the inside of this place looked cozy. Klara would find the nearest sofa, drape herself over it with her legs laying over one of the arm rests with her back laying against the cushions under her.

"So let me get this straight," Klara waved a hand dismissively as she'd catch her breath a little. "We're walking right into the place of the guy that wants us dead?" Tsukaimon wiggled out of her pockets.

"Are we here? Oi, why didn't you tell me! I'm gonna stuff myself!" Noticing the food, Tsukaimon, ignoring everyone else decided that it would definitely all belong to them.

"Does anyone else think that is a terrible idea?" Klara stretched. "Shouldn't we, I don't know, avoid the guy, go on a training montage so we can beat him up?" Maybe she was being too mistrustful, but they hadn't given her any reason to trust them yet, to say nothing of the fact being dragged here against her will still left a sour taste in her mouth. "Heeey, Tsuki share please."

"Nyuh-uh, get your own!

"Awww, come on Tsuki I'm dying here. You don't want your partner to starve, do you?"

"Fiiine, if it'll shut up your whining." Tsukaimon scurried over, a few of the fruits in its claws before it'd plop itself down on Klara's stomach and roll a few over to her.

"Thanks partner." It was probably fine to eat this stuff, right?

If this was a digital world they probably couldn't get sick.

....

"Haa, whatever. Im along for the ride at this point I guess." She'd grumble lightly before biting into the fruit.

"Nyeheh, how do ya like that!" Tsukaimon laughed as the fireballs hurled towards the fish looking digimon. It...was honestly not super impressive looking. It was probably a water type or something right? SO fire maybe wasn't as effective, perhaps? Hm, she wasn't still sure how all this worked but it seemed like they had the upper hand regardless. The others seemed to have had this and she didn't think there was much more for her to contribute.

"Hm. Sure, impressively dull." Klara responded taciturnly. "Heeeh, seriously all this fighting isn't really my thing." She'd grumble lightly, grabbing Tsukaimon and holding them like one might a plushie in her arms. "So, are we going to be expected to fight things like that more?" She'd inquire of her apparent benefactors.

Tsukaimon didn't seem to mind being held. For now.
Ophelia Noella Kaides
@Silver Carrot

There was silence across the coliseum, and silence from Ophelia as the weight of the events that just transpired settled over the air. Nobody knew what to think. Nobody dared to make a sound. Had it truly just happened? Sherry yielded to her half-sister? Her half sister who could barely walk or strain herself without getting violently ill? Surely all she'd need to do was simply...avoid engaging and wear her out during the duel to claim victory.

The fight barely lasted a minute.

"...what?" The silence was first broken by Ophelia herself. "That...you...you serious?" She'd step away from Sherry, a mildly perplexed expression. "That...that was too easy..." The words left her mouth before she could think about what she was saying really. "Is this really all you can do, Sherry? Or under that facade of yours you're just that pathetically weak?" She'd inhale, gritting her teeth, tone of voice raising slightly with each word she spoke. "You...you better not just be taking pity on me-" She was interrupted by a slight coughing fit, immediately covering her mouth with her hand. She'd take a few deep breaths, her voice slowly returning to its usual quiet, stilted and muted tone.

"...whatever. If you are I'll take it." She'd say, wiping her mouth and looking away from Sherry. "But next time, I expect an actual contest." So Ophelia would turn to leave, not sparing a word for Sherry's response if she even had one as she'd step out of the Arena.

Well this was a right showing alright. Honestly, she found Sherry's distress amusing, if only because previously the girl had been so arrogant it was nice to see her be flustered. The only thing that gave her pause though, was that she didn't remember this happening. Or hearing of something like this happening. Granted, in her past life she was pretty sure this breakfast didn't happen. She didn't attend, at least. Maybe she had been too ill. At least they had peace now-

Ah. Amabilia. In her past life she would have just quietly ignored the woman, or at least try and be civil but now? Yeah, no. She had grown increasingly tired of such people in her past life. The bullying, the gossiping, the utter audacity and contemptable nature they treat everyone else around them. Even if she knew she should stay quiet, she no longer could. If people wanted her to be a pitiful child or a demon of some sort, she'd give them one.

Maybe it'd even be amusing to do it, this life.

"Yes, I am feeling mostly well, mother." Words spoken in her usual soft voice, but tinged with a bit of uncharacteristic irritation. "Sadly, there's an uninvited harlot squawking like a seagull giving me a migraine. Maybe she should leave before I accidentally mess up her dress from being sick." Ophelia would continue her breakfast in silence, and should her siblings have any thoughts about her uncharacteristic words, she'd simply give them a little smile and do her best to act dumb.

Otherwise though, hopefully the breakfast would go unimpeded.

She'd remain quiet and mostly taciturn through the trip, and as she'd sit in the stadium she'd merely watch the proceedings with further disinterest. How droll, really. In the past she desperately wanted to be a part of it all. She still did, truly. All she ever wanted to be was a proper Kaides, and even now she desperately wanted to be.

But looking at all this with the eyes of someone who died and went through hell practically alone.

Well...she couldn't help but to find this all pointless showmanship with zero reason for existing. The only thing that even so much as caught her attention, was Isana actually challenging someone. Ophelia's head swiveled towards her as she made the challenge. That was new. Unexpected, but at this point she couldn't really say she was surprised. Things had already deviated slightly, so what was one more?

Might as well throw another wrench in the plans of the previous history as well, and if nothing else she'd perhaps, surprise her sisters. Just as her sisters match would end, instead of merely raising her hand Ophelia would saunter down towards the field making sure she would be the center of attention. And mostly just to make sure she was in fact, heard since she still couldn't really raise her voice without straining.

Paying her sister no mind, Ophelia made her challenge. Perhaps she was feeling petty after breakfast, and maybe it was her years of built up frustration and anger, but she really wanted to get back at least, even a little, at that bitch Amabilia and this was the easiest way to do it. Knock her precious little Sherry down several painful pegs. Could she win? She didn't care if she did, but she was confident.

"I challenge Sherry Naibi Kaides." Ophelia turned and pointed a slender finger at where she was sitting in the stands.

If Isana's victory caused flabbergasted into silence, the declaration from Ophelia was met with both equal parts laughter from some of the Noble and Elite class, and even more confusion from others.

This dorumon guy was saying a lot of words without actually saying anything at all. It was rather impressive, his ability to talk so much and be able to say so little. To say nothing of the comparisons she didn't really understand all to well. Why was he using such niche references? Klara frowned slightly, mulling over everything. No, no, she still couldn't say she liked anything he was saying. Well, if what he was saying was true it sounded bad, but maybe it was just her naturally more distrustful nature that she didn't really care to take anything he was saying at face value.

The other digimons explanation was much more simple.

Lucemon wanted to destroy their world, or at least was going to inadvertently do great harm to it.

What cliched demon lord plot was that?

Klara looked at the digivice, turning it over in her hands. An intriguing device, if nothing else. Perhaps she could figure out how it worked...

"Hm?"

regardless of her own trust, though, it seemed like things were going to take a rougher turn where she was going to have to put her lot in with these guys for now, regardless. Some weird looking fish thing came out of the sea, clearly hostile.

"Nyahaha, teamwork? Puh-leeze. WE can handle this ourselves, right, partner?"

"...Teamwork, right. What can you even do? Your the size of a small cat."

"Weh! I'm perfectly sized for...for whatever! Hmph, just watch and learn!" It would plant its feet firmly on the ground in front of Klara. A ball of fire ignited over Tsukaimon's head. "Time for some friendly fire! Get grilled, fishpaste!"

The ball of fire was lobbed towards the Coelamon, Klara watching with only mild curiosity.
as promised, small posty post

Smuggling operation, eh? With Fae of all things? Did the smugglers really think they were going to get away unscathed? Getting involved with such creatures were likely going to only end badly for those that didn't respect them. Well, she supposed it was partly her problem now, too. She couldn't let someone like this get away with such a scheme. Cordelia's gaze quietly fell over her companions as they idly chatted away as she would keep mostly to herself. She had no reason to speak, and ultimately she wasn't even sure what she would say. Idle chatter wasn't something she was good with, to people at least.

She wasn't going to ever feel really comfortable with other people, was she?

"Heeeh why do you always overthink this kind of thing?" Cordelia frowned, expression shifting to one of mild irritation, not bothering to respond to the serpent coiled around her shoulders and draped across her chest much thought. "Tsssk, tssssk, if it wasn't for me taking pity on you, you'd just be some lonely shut-in without a friend in the world, sheheheh~"

"...every cutthroat and rogue already likely knows we're here." Cordelia responded rather coolly after a few seconds. As someone who grew up in a slightly underprivileged household, well, she knew at least a little that word of the society in the area traveled fast. "But wherever they're crawling about, they shouldn't be a problem."
