@King Tai

Twas a wonderful evening indeed for the two of them.

No matter how bright either the moon or the morning sun had shone when it surfaced from the horizon, it's piercing light would not be able to penetrate through the darkness of her bedchamber, hidden within the facility in only who knows where.

Cursed to be a creature of the night, Rebecca had no choice but to grow accustomed to being draped in the company of thick shadows all her life, so of course she had no concept of what particular hour it was at all. For all she knew, it could be the middle of the day, which was such a taxing time to awake.

Snuggled next to her was her beautiful lover Camille, her cerulean hair tousled and falling into her charming good looks. Even in the darkness of her bedchamber, Rebecca could see her radiant skin glowing with the purest of lights.

Never would she forget the night she spent alone with this teenager, kissing her lips so tenderly and caressing her little body with such loving arms, feeling the warmth of her heart as their bare skin touched. The excitement and the pleasure were all too much for the mature woman that she couldn’t count how many times she blacked out from the overwhelming ecstasy in her veins. Camille was quite pleased by the experience too, judging from the soft and pleasant smile etched onto her face as she slept, covered immodestly in the sheets of a highly disheveled bed. Still in Rebecca’s ears, she could hear the echoes of her beloved’s soft, pleasurable moans and laments rising into ecstatic screams of joy, “Mistress….Rebecca….I-I love you!”

Love...twas something she hadn't felt in a while, and every inch of it was given to her by this sweet, adorable little girl, such love and devotion. Camille was but one of the driving forces behind Rebecca's vendetta against the damned, to be rid of them and find her solace in a world where she and her darling thrall could live in peace...forever.

It was funny however. In that sense she felt a bit more compared to Stone, not much funny but indeed a tad...unsettling. Stone, such a bastard, but such a bizarre, mysterious man, with even more mysterious motives. She kept thinking back to her words and those of Camille about him, how possibly he had some major part to play in this recent uproar. The three families were keen to cleave each other to the bone, blaming one another for blood unjustly shed, and yet none knew who the real killer was. It was as if...the slayings themselves were orchestrated to begin this vile fray of vengeance. The the very thought was gnawing at her flesh with apprehension running rampant, racking her body with a severe, mental pain as she was wrapped up in her mind, soon to be pulled from it by a gentle caring whisper, “Rebecca…?”

~“I am here, my love.”~ She called faintly to the young girl. ~“I….”~ Upon further notice however, Rebecca saw her paramour slumbered still, her emerald eyes shut and her soft lips parting occasionally with a careless whisper. Rebecca gave the girl a wry smile and lied there beside her, watching her little chest rise and fall with each breath she took. She couldn’t help but observe how the thin sheets formed to Camille’s petite curves so perfectly, accentuating every feature of her delicate body, a body Rebecca so longed to embrace in her arms again and steal the kiss that precariously hung from those whispering lips. It was best of intentions to let Camille sleep though. Their moment together was all too enjoyable for the teen, but her youthful vitality had been drained by the experience. She needed her rest, and Rebecca thought so too. With one last kiss planted to the girl’s forehead, she wrapped her arms around the tiny sleeping body and nuzzled her affectionately, yet...she didn't return to sleep.

She needed answers, and there was only one place she was certain to find them.... the UHC's main terminal.

It was off limits to her and to Camille, given they weren't actually syndicated agents of the corps. Just cementing their status as mere attack dogs for Stone and his lackeys, how insulting. But even so, it wasn't going to keep Rebecca from sneaking into the room where it lied so she could find the intel she was looking for.

One last kiss on the cheek to her beloved and she was crawling out of bed and tiptoeing through the blackness over to her dresser to fetch her robe. Once Decent, or at least somewhat decent, she then slipped out the door and into the cold of the corridor, feeling a bitter chill crawl up her legs as her bare feet touched metal floors.

She crept down the hallway in a steady, cautious gait, hugging the wall as tight as she could and sidling along it in the dim blue aura. Twas soon to be morning, which meant her and Camille's lockdown would begin, per request of who else but that cunt Stone. To be caught by one of the patrols would mean certain punishment, and given the nature of the bald man towards the red haired charmer....it would indeed be a brutal punishment. Lucky for Rebecca, there were a few perks to being a Nosferatu. For one, she could sense the heartbeat of those nearby, even hear it as though the distant patter of drums...until it got close, then it was the sound of horse hooves charging through a dusty plain. This skill she has used to her advantage many times when it came to sneaking up on unfortunate few...back in her younger days when she did prey upon mortals...for survival's sake. Thankfully the miracles of modern medicine offered her a better and more humane way to satiate her thirst and that of her love Camille. Frozen blood in an IV bag may not be the freshest, but it still satisfied a vampire's pallet.

As she neared the corner, she snapped to the wall quickly, hearing both the footsteps and the heartbeat of a guard moving closer to her position. She waited, anxiously, as the man passed, the glare of his flashlight nearly catching the woman before she disappeared in the darkness. Once he was a good distance away from her, Rebecca continued on, suppressing the urge to give an audible sigh of relief. A few more corridors she passed through unnoticed and a few more guards she eluded until she was standing at the door. That's when the disappointment had set in.

Dammit all! She hissed on the inside, glaring at the door with black and blue eyes smoldering in discontent. Where the bloody hell am I going to get an access card? The only thing halting her personal mission, a useless...or useful...piece of plastic that was in the possession of one of Stone's trusted agents no less.

But fate be fickle as she heard a man's voice behind her, accompanying the click of a gun being drawn on her as well, "Alright bitch, hands behind your head and turn around." Hehehe...and there's my ticket in.

Rebecca complied with the agent's demand, intertwining her fingers behind her head and slowly turning on her heels to face him and the USP Compact he had trained on her. ~"Sorry sweetie. Am I violating my parole?"~ A contemptible smirk as she purred, eyeing the agent rather lewd. Her charms probably didn't work on that idiot Vlad, but a mortal...they were easy pickings. Just ask the few mortal women she wooed into her bed many a night, before she met Camille of course. The agent barked, keeping his gun well aimed towards her head, "This is a restricted area, vampire. You don't have any business being here. Now go back to your room before I alert Director Stone." But with that she did not comply. Her smirk ever deepening, the lustful glare of her eyes intensifying, she began to slowly saunter over to the agent, now fidgeting somewhat as he could barely keep his weapon aimed on her. "H-hey! What are you doing? I said go back to your room!" But she wouldn't listen. The closer she got to him, the more he panicked, freezing in place almost, his eyes widening in paralyzing shock. Her silk robe began to unravel a bit, as if on its own, flowing open to reveal a generous portion of her voluptuous, partially nude figure.

Suddenly she grabbed him, shoving him against the wall with a predatory growl, more like a cat in heat than a hungry lioness, the force having jarred his gun from his hand. ~"Silly boy..."~ Her whispering voice hot in his ear, burning with such insatiable hunger...but not for his body unfortunately. Her lips slipped and slid across his calloused flesh, caressing his neck in such pleasure that eased his frazzled nerves. The man, he was melting into her hands, falling to her every sensual desire. But if he thought Rebecca was going to bed him, sadly he was wrong....dead wrong.

The trance of euphoria upon him had broken, but it was too late. The woman's beautiful features contorted into that of a vicious creature in a split second and her fangs, two sharp, gleaming daggers of agony, impaled the meat of his neck, forcing a terrible gasp from his lungs. No screams, nothing, only incomprehensible, silent whimpers as Rebecca drained him of every last drop of life....and released him into crumbling mess on the floor wiping her mouth off on her sleeve. She wasn't satisfied by the taste, men's blood to her more like tasting pure salt water than the sweet, succulent wine of a woman.

The realization had hit her shortly. Dammit, now she had a corpse to dispose of, and no alibi to back her innocence of a senseless murder of a decorated agent. No choice, she had to hide him in the terminal room somewhere. ~"I'll take that."~ She fetched his card from his jacket and swiped it through the reader, a beep and a click indicating shortly the door was unlocked. Thanks to another vampiric perk being enhanced strength, she was able to pull the dead man into the room and hide him carefully behind one of the large, glowing processing units, though not without a struggle. And to make matters worse, she had his blood all on her. Wonderful...that's another shower I'll have to take. But it would have to wait. She was here. Now to get down to business.

She stepped over to the main computer after making sure the dead agent was well obscured, her fingers gracing the keyboard with her thumb pressing the space bar. It sprung to life minutes after booting up, a harsh green glare piercing the woman's eyes and causing her to squint for a moment grimacing. Once her eyes were well adjusted, she typed.

The first two files, none of her concern, but the third... Morning Glory? An operation by the UHC? Such a bizarre codename, only made it all the more intriguing to Rebecca. This had to be the information she was searching for, the one crucial piece missing from this convoluted puzzle.

Ugh! Knew it! Stone wouldn't be such a fool to let anyone put eyes on this info, especially if it's damning to him. And there was no way she would be able to figure out the username and password before security discovered her. Too late it seemed however, as outside the room she heard another man's voice echoing down the hall with the clop of his shoes against the steel floor, "Lebowitz? Lebowitz, where are you? For God's sake Lebowitz, don't tell me you left your post again to take a piss! I have a good mind to report you to Stone!" He was about to be outside the door, and she knew it. I'll have to return to this later when I find out that password, if Stone doesn't change it before then. Frantic, her eyes darted about the dimly lit room, searching for a place to hide. The other agent, soon he would be upon her, soon he would discover a no good vampire breaking into their utmost secrecy, perfect grounds to put an end to her miserable life...or just make it Hell.

Faintly, Rebecca's ears caught sound of him grumbling as he ruffled through his coat, supposedly for his key card. He managed to fish it out and swipe it through....but with unsavory results. "What the fuck? Dammit! There's someone in there! We'll have to override the lock from the security station on level B!" Level B, about six floors up. It would have given Rebecca enough time to escape, but wait...if they couldn't get in...that meant only one thing.

Oh no! Trapped!

She would have no choice...but to hide.

@Wraithblade6 ((onceagaini'mverysorryididn'tpostforfivefuckingdayspleasedon'tkillmeaaaaaah!!!!))

It was...appalling to say the least, giving herself over willingly to a man, even if it was just to keep him from dying.

What could have possessed the mind of Rebecca to surrender herself to this raven haired fiend? Although, he wasn't much of fiend as she glimpsed into his eyes, feeling and even seeing the sincerity in his words he spoke to her through pained whispers. A soft shiver encapsulated her body at the grace of his touch to her skin, her eyes closing, anticipating the pain, rather dreading it because she felt it would drag her back to that horrible day, the day her life was changed for...the worst.

But oddly enough, no pain as the man's fangs sunk into the meat of her neck, only a slight...tingling sensation that lulled her into a euphoric trance, an inaudible whimper escaping her lips as she tilted her head back, her tense nerves unraveling. Such a strange reaction to another Nosferatu feeding off of her. Should her mind have been in the right, then certainly both hands would be grasping the neck of the beast and pulling him off of her, but her arms were limp at her sides, as was the rest of her body and mind giving way to this bizarre feeling of calmness.

The vampire released her, a small trickle of crimson remaining upon her neck, along with two small punctures from where his fangs tasted of her delectable essence. She stood, wobbling a bit, the blue haired girl behind her with her mouth agape and eyes as wide as the full moon above. Did her mistress really just let another vampire drink her blood? Upon Rebecca's face, which would only express rage and utter disdain towards her kind, a face of demure emptiness, void of any emotion but the tranquility....soon to be shattered by the shrill scrape of a blade against its scabbard.

~"How dare you betray me, beast!"~ She snapped out of it, immediately her face contorting in a vicious snarl, her Beretta drawn to the wounded beast once more. Yes, she would have shot him point blank, execution style, but a shock towards what he did next. As if the mere act of a vampire feeding from her wasn't repulsive enough, seeing him jab his own blade into his torso nearly made her sick to her stomach, the woman grimacing in complete disgust. Both she and Camille looked on in appalling horror, observing the dark and brooding man fish from his grisly gash the pieces of blessed silver embedded in the meat, the sickening squelch of blood and sinew...such a stomach turner it was.

Finally, he was done, as much as Rebecca was with this...eventful evening. She would definitely need a drink and a nice hot bath when she got home. "Umm....s-sure mister. N-no problem." Camille gave a nervous smile to him, agreeing that she wasn't going to force this vampire again through the torment of earlier. In fact with how much she quivered in his foreboding presence, she was certain to not execute another perfect shot like that, even at a close range as this. Rebecca cut in, her tone a tad harsh as she crossed her arms, still the steely glare towards him, ~"There, I let you live. You can thank me later, vampire, and don't expect me to do it again."~
@Wraithblade6 I suppose I could volunteer Rebecca knowing of him (Considering it's Mithias). Maybe they had crossed paths at some point in their lives.
Okay so uh...dunno why I'm posting this, but I apologize if my massive posts are getting a bit umm...annoying shall we say? >>; But I've been getting so many great ideas from this RP lately that it's starting to become one of my faves! \^///^/

"Ain't we all these days." Mike laughed taking another drink, nearly choking on it when he heard the girl mention something about her profession. A sputtering cough racked his throat for a moment before he spoke. "Hey, that's your business, girl. Ain't none of mine. Wanna swig?" He seemed alright with sharing his whiskey with her, even if she was a bit young. He and Liz shared a drink all the time. Liz...he got to thinking about her, and this girl too. "Hey uh, I know it ain't none of my business, but what's your name?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------

As it turned out, the bar was called Jackson Hill, a small joint on Cranberry Street, just a couple of blocks from the nearby college. Every night, college kids, artists, hipsters, struggling musicians, and a bunch of other eclectic company would gather here, either to share a drink or two of some of the best drafts, ales, and imported beers and lagers on tap, not to mention a fine selection of bourbons and other whiskeys, vodkas and spirits, have a casual conversation while listening to some choice music and enjoying the lively atmosphere, and maybe meet that special someone.

But as much business as this place got on a few nights, it wasn't really packed when Liz showed up at the front door. Not a single person was sitting at the bar or at any of the tables; the only soul around was just the bartender, who she figured was Seth. He was wiping down the bar when Liz ambled in lugging her guitar on her back, his tired, heavy eyes looking towards the door when he heard the small bell above it chime, then looking at the scraggly, black haired chick standing in front of him. "Sorry." He said with a sigh and an apathetic blink as he resumed wiping down his bar with a damp cloth. "Can't sell you any drinks. It's after hours, and I'm about to go home."

"Oh, that's okay." Liz replied mumbling. "I'm not really looking for a drink. You're...Seth, right?"

Seth shrugged, wringing the cloth in his hands and setting it aside. "Last I checked I was." He quipped dryly, Liz giving a small chuckle. Seth then noticed Liz's guitar, raising an eyebrow and giving a wry smirk; he had a hunch why she was here now, "Let me guess, Christy sent you here." That girl, always hooking Seth up with acts. It's just the last three wasn't his forte, nothing but a bunch of loud and crazy emo punk bands. That might be good for some of the other clubs he's been to, and yeah he's had his fair share of punk, like the Ramones, the Clash, and the Sex Pistols, but at his bar, people came to chill and unwind after a day of classes or work, not to kill in the mosh pit.

"Cute girl, Christy. Too bad she's a lesbian." Seth chuckled. "Yeah, she's hooked me up with some talent in the past. I say talent, but really it was just a bunch of noise. These guys don't know shit about music, just beating the fuck out of their drums and trashing their guitars on stage, screaming like they got their balls caught in a lawnmower. Damn."

Liz couldn't help but giggle at Seth's description, more or less the wit in his voice. Seth resumed, "Nah, what I need is something a bit more...."

"Less earache inducing?" Liz added. "I don't really play much electric, and I'm not a big fan of heavy music, maybe old school stuff like Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin. Pink Floyd's pretty good too."

Seth grinned, leaning close to the bar as Liz took her seat. "Sounds more like you're trying to hook up with me instead of a gig." He purred. Liz however gave him a smirk and a snicker, "Well, sucks for you cause I'm a lesbian too." That got him. Seth laughed standing up and scratching the back of his head, "Shit. Well that seems to be my luck. Still, nice taste in music. What else do you listen to?" He asked while fishing from his denim vest a crumpled cigarette, lighting it and taking a drag.

Liz shrugged her shoulders, a short sigh, "Eh, just whatever sounds good. I'm more into indie music than anything else. You know, bands like Message To Bears, Syd Matters, Local Natives. You mind if I have one of those?" She asked him motioning to his cigarette.

Seth laughed again handing her one and lighting it for her, "Damn, it does suck you're into chicks. Those are some of my faves." He figured given that, she'd probably be a good pick for some nightly entertainment. Just one thing left, "Tell you what. Why don't you play me something, and if I like it, you got the gig on Friday. Sound cool?"

"Totally." Liz agreed with a bright smile, breathing a mist of smoke into the air. She grabbed her guitar, her hand shaking a bit as she slipped the strap over her head and fiddled in her pocket for her pick. It was different when she was playing in the streets or at the park, mostly because she wasn't thinking of anything. Here, she didn't want to fuck up possibly her only opportunity at a well paying job. A few slow, steady breaths she took inward and exhaled calmly, playing a few strings trying to find the right sound. Then, once she had it down in her mind and on the frets, she began to play for real, putting all her heart into the lyrics and the melody she composed from just a simple wooden acoustic. At that point, everything just seemed to disappear from her, the bar, Seth. She wasn't so worried about screwing up in front of him now or if her singing voice sucked or the tone of her guitar was either too high or too low. Instead, she just focused on the music as it was.

Seth stood there while she played. Unbeknownst to her, his head was bobbing slightly with the tempo, a rather coy smile curling his lips while he finished up his smoke and snuffed it out on the bar. Liz was pretty good he thought.

Once the girl finished, slipping the strap from her shoulder and setting her guitar down, the last few notes a distant hum, he stood there quietly, a rather mute expression on his face. Shit, that didn't look good, Liz thought. Did she fuck up? Did he not like it? Nervously she chewed at her bottom lip, a perplexed stare towards him in a moment of silence, indeed unnerving silence. "Umm...was that good?" She asked, her tone timid. He didn't say anything, just standing there. Fuck... It was worth a try. Figured I wasn't that good anyways.

But then, to Liz's surprise, clapping ensued from his hands, a wide, jovial grin across Seth's face beaming bright. "You kidding me?" He chuckled giving her a thumbs up. "That was awesome! You got the gig!"

"R-really?!" Liz blurted out excitedly. She nearly fell off her bar stool the moment she heard those four magic words, but yes! She got it! If everything else goes good, she wouldn't have to worry about money anymore....and neither would Jen.

This was perfect!

But....if only she could find Jennifer and tell her the good news...
