New year, new blood. That was Tohru's very thought as she leaned against the wall in Tsukio's office beside her desk, arms crossed with a frigid scowl ipon her lips. "That they would be foolish enough to challenge us." She scoffed. "Hmph! These whelps, they wouldn't have lasted a day on the streets. Lao Shang and his boys would have ripped them to shreds. Although..." She turned to Tsukiko. "I did hear one of the new students is pretty tough, some girl named Natsumiko Akane. Heard she was kicked out of almost every school in Japan for beating up a student. We'll see just how long she lasts here."

AKANE & Misao

"A journalist club?" Akane tilted her head squinting at the sign. It was but a few moments after she and Misao had walked through the gates of Tatakai Academy, they were stopped at this tiny girl's table with a sign out front.

"You know!" Misao chimed slapping Akane's shoulder. The wolf girl put on a big, wide grin, her sharp ears perked up and her bushy tail swishing back and forth. "Like a newspaper club! Every school has one! We should join, Redhead! It'll be so much fun! C'mon! Please! Can we?!" She was practically bouncing up and down.

But if course, her rough and rowdy friend scoffed at the idea, snorting with a confident grin, "Hah! Like I'd join something that dumb! Besides, how am I gonna hurt someone with a newspaper? Give 'em a paper cut?! How lame!" Heartily she laughed.

Misao however was fuming already, her cheeks burning a hot shade of red. "Grrrrrr! REDHEAD!" She snapped throwing both arms in the air. Firmly her hands fell on her shapely hips as she leaned in about to tear into Akane. "Now you promised me you wouldn't start any more fights, and I'm not going to let you break that promise, dammit! Now quit being a meanie to her! We are joining this club!"

"But but but Wolfie!" Akane was quick to protest, but the she wolf was even quicker to lay into her again. "We are joining, no objections!"

"UGH! Fine..." Akane sighed gruffly, muttering to herself as she turned to face the pipsqueak behind the table with an apathetic glower upon her face. "Okay...where do we sign?"

I can't beat anyone up if I'm stuck writing newspapers all day! This sucks! What the hell is Wolfie thinking?!

POWERS:
The only power Tohru has is her raw strength, and that is all she needs. According to her, everyone can keep their fancy superhero bullshit. A true warrior relies only on their inner fury and their skill in battle

PERSONALITY:
Trying to be friends with Tohru is like trying to be friends with an eight hundred pound grizzly bear. No matter how sweet your words are to her or how big your stupid smile is, chances are Tohru will tell you to fuck off or just beat the ever living shit out of you. A loner by nature, she thrives on maintaining her solidarity and has no desire to make friends with anyone. To her, friends just get in the way. In the Student Council, she's a ruthless tyrant who spares no one from a beating if they get out of line. Many have come to fear her for this reason.

Tohru shows loyalty to no one, other than her superior, President Tsukiko Gin. She is devoted to defending Tsukiko and upholding the law of the school. However, it is more put of burgeoning respect than compassion Tohru serves Tsukiko, as she has no real feelings or emotions towards her...or anyone for that matter. It's difficult to tell when this young girl became such a monster.

BIO:
The half Japanese half Chinese Tohru was born on a military base near Hong Kong. Her father was a decorated officer, who had seen combat in both Afghanistan and in the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea, but he was also a beligerent drunk, who on occasions abused her and her mother physically. Eventually, her mother divorced him and took Tohru with her to live with relatives in Kowloon. It was in Kowloon the young Tohru was first introduced to the martial arts. Kowloon was such a rough and repugnant city anyways. If you didn't know how to fight, then you only knew how to die.

Street gangs ruled the city, and with guns outlawed in China, they settled their disputes the old fashioned way, bare knuckle brawling.

Tohru fell into the street gang life at age twelve. She was taught how to fight by the leader of her gang, a brute of a man named Lao Shang. Lao Shang also taught her how to use nunchaku, switchblade knives, and other crude improvised weaponry in street brawls. Often, these brawls were bloody as hell. Tohru couldn't count on her fingers how many times she saw a guy's head get split open by a baseball bat or a roundhouse kick, or what guts looked like when a guy got cut open with a switchblade or stabbed fifty times.

It was a brutal time in Tohru's life, and she had the scars to prove it.

Eventually, as she grew into her early teens, her mother had passed away from cancer and her aunt and uncle, no longer wishing to take care of the delinquet she had become, shipped Tohru to live with her father's brother in Japan. Unlike his drunk ass brother though, Tohru's other uncle cared for her and tried to act as a father figure. He even sent her to the prestigious Tatakai Academy. He hasmd no idea however the school had a violent reputation, nor that by sending Tohru there would be the makings of a cold blooded monster.

On the day she was enrolled, Tohru began carving her name into the school. Her previous reputation as a tough delinquet from Kowloon pretty much garnered her some unwanted attention. Before too long, many students stepped up to challenge her and many were cut down by the Blue Dragon, as they began calling her. Fight after fight, she rose through the ranks of the school, until she was seated in the Student Council as Vice President.

To this day, to speak her name instills fear into the hearts of even the strongest students, and if you dare to challenge her, then you had best have your grave already dug.
