I feel like I should make a response to the mission update, but I can't really think of anything I could do that would be a good idea.

Once we've located the hive and ascertained their strength, we can then form a plan to destroy them.
Carver and Manny might be jumping the gun on that front.

After playing a support role in the 1st mission, leading the attack would be a nice change of pace. Once Carver's air support finds where the bugs have set up shop, my mechs will move in and cause a ruckus to draw out the bugs. I've swapped out the guns mounted on the mechs with scorchers which should allow them to turn the bugs' defense forces to ash easily enough. Meanwhile, those following the mechs can pick off any bugs that manage to get past the fire wall. And once we've dealt with the bugs on the surface, my mechs will gather around as many hive entrances as they can find and flood the hive with flames. That's my current plan anyway. Might need to change it if the hive is really strong.

As a matter of fact, I am tinkering away in my workshop right now, Carver. This whole merc gig is just a side hustle to me, remember? Also, posting via video log was completely unnecessary.

Actually now that I think about it, the fact that Hughs Industries put up a want add for Corporate Espionage on a public forum is way funnier. Akiov Inc might have seen that and beefed up their anti-spy defenses, making a successful infiltration impossible as a result.

I don't know what's funnier. Carver's misspelling of the word bored or the fact that Helltop just got bypassed. Probably the former.
