Edit:@rush99999 Are we going with each sqaure being 5ft or are we adding some distance to the squares. Seems like a pretty small battle field if we are going with the classic 5ft square.
Each square is indeed 5 feet. Also, there is more to the battlefield than what is shown on the map. I simply decided just to focus on the part that the boss fight is taking place in.
Now that everyone has rolled, here is the Initiative Order: Battlefield: 20 Cascade: 18 Aura: 17 Ervdul: 9 Yosef: 8 Jørmund: 5 Flicker: 3
Let me make a few edits to my latest post and then it will be Cascade and Aura's turns.
The battle raged long into the night. Beneath the light of the moon, the highwaymen and the attackers clashed again and again. For a time, both sides were locked into an intractable stalemate. But between Cascade and Flicker relieving the highwaymen where they faltered, Aura providing regular intelligence updates, and Jørmund fighting valiantly on the front lines, the battle looked to be turning in favor of the highwaymen as the first rays of dawn crested the horizon. But the battle wasn't over yet. Despite the stubborn defense put up by the highwaymen, the attackers refused to back down. And what's more, they had yet to bring their strongest fighters to bear against the defensive line.
That wouldn't be the case for long though.
Ever since Jørmund drank that bottle of Zing, the spectral visage of Haraldr that only he could see was rarely far from sight. The ghostly form of the raider watched the earth genasi as he fought, grinning with cruel enjoyment when Jørmund was struck or lost ground to the attackers and grimacing in annoyance when Jørmund felled a foe or pushed back an enemy advance. But as Jørmund struck down one more attacker, the enemy's fall revealed that Haraldr had moved to stand right behind the adversary. The raider was grinning at Jørmund. And after a moment, Haraldr opened his mouth in silent, sadistic laughter.
A split second later, a ball of burning bile flew through the apparition, dashing it from existence and striking Jørmund on the chest. "I have been waiting for this moment!" A familiar ignan voice exclaimed. The burning bipedal newt that Aura had identified as Yosef stood ten feet away from Jørmund. "Ervdul cannot save you now, Northman!" Yosef declared. "For your mockery, I will remind you in the worst of ways that fire melts frost!"
A little further back from Yosef, the animated drow statue known as Ervdul moved towards the right flank of the battlefield while observing a group of highwaymen led by the warforged that had commanded the reinforcements the party had summoned earlier. Now the constructed commander was leading a charge up the left hand side of the battlefield to great effect against the attackers.
Meanwhile, fresh reinforcements from both sides charge into the fray to relive their comrades and strike against their foes.
Yosef spits fire at Jørmund, dealing 11 points of fire damage.
"If there's time for it, I'd like to suggest we head to the Tessith Stronghold first." Skobeloff said. "I promised the friends I made over there that I would return a quickly as I could. And seeing how strength in numbers is the key to victory here, we definitely couldn't go wrong in picking up a few more helping hands."
@Guardian Angel Haruki@RBYDark@XxFellsingxX The music that Grace puts on coincides perfectly with the beginning of Mitra's transformation and is loud enough to carry outside the studio and give the tainted's transition some appropriately eerie ambient music.
@Candykane Meanwhile, inside the studio, the sudden sound of music causes Abberline to tense up and begin pointing his rifle directly at Misty's head. "What do you think you are doing?" The hunter demands to know as his finger moves over the rifle's trigger. "I am in no mood for games, witch. Cease this mischief and cast the tracking spell."
