Bio

Got nothing to say here, sooooo yeah.

I'm a bookworm, gamer, and obviously roleplayer since I'm on this site :P

Anyways, those are a few things that I'll say about myself... for now. Maybe I'll update this a little more in the future.

Ciao!

Didn't you know? The headcanon game is my favorite game to play!

Whenever Alixanna has to go through thieve's landing, she always carries extra money because she secretly worries about Illya and her mom. Illya is fully aware of this and annoyed by it, but she steals the money anyway, because, you know, free money.@ViolentViolet

Alixanna actually likes Ezra's singing. Of course, she's also tone deaf. :P @Snarl

Alixanna thinks both Aldric and Guinevere are impossibly good looking. Seriously, she can't look at either one of them for very long without getting nervous. @Lionheart @BlueAjah

Alixanna ships Guinevere and Aldric all day, every day, and twice on Sundays.@Lionheart @BlueAjah

Laciel is Alixanna's potions guinea pig. Whenever she has a new concoction, he tries it out and sometimes recommends changes to the recipe because he's well read in herbology. Alixanna thinks he would make a fine alchemist. @Savo

Yay or nay?

I am ok with this and such. Be prepared for him to be slightly nervous around her though when he is testing them :p
So, approval for Varric headcanons.

-He pranks the blacksmith all the time, usually by fucking with her hammer. At this point, she just keeps a bunch of back up hammers. If nothing happens for a few days, she asks Marion whether her son is sick or something.

-He has a friendship with the blacksmith's son Laciel that consists entirely of telling him stories to satisfy his need of knowledge. Mostly myths and legends with cultural significance.

-Varric is actually decent friends with Aldric and Farrest because of all the time he spends in the woods. They aren't all that close, but there's a healthy respect there. Though Varric quite openly lusts after the both of them. (Mmmm. Rangers.)

-His and Ezra's friendship includes casual sex on occasion. Mostly they're just friends though.

-Also he and Ezra work together trying to come up with increasingly terrible dirty songs. When Varric sings them, his voice actually makes them kind of sexy. When Ezra does...well...we've seen that.

Oh heck yes, that works xD

Maybe I should have Laciel have contact with two more characters at most as it only said friendship between the adults, never the children :p

Laciels Headcanons? Please tell me whether it's well or nein.

-Laciel spars with Guinevere from time to time to practice his swordsmanship with her along with mimickry which has made some of her victories difficult to earn. Very rarely a victory for Laciel and Guinevere can come, even though she manages to win the most of the lot. They also read sometimes together in the library, however Laciel is often too nervous to start up a conversation with her, making those the few times he speaks with her.

-No thieves daughter headcanons? @ViolentViolet :p

Only one of the few children who decided to attempt to befriend the girl. He would attempt to talk with her from time to time and generally try to hand her some cheer. Even after the abuse from other children, he very seldom would stand up for her when she was around which resulted from teasing by the children. He wasn't discouraged, and yeah. Laciel was a bit bothered by the trade her family was in, but it didn't cause him to diverge away from her even with his mothers warnings. Was one of the few legitimate people that was sad when she left. Keeps in contact with her from time to time and locks her unknown secret up tightly, understanding what she does a bit. Attempts to have a neutral standpoint in encouraging her to walk a different path to avoid hypocrisy and is generally quiet around her when he listens to her speak and such.

The second might be a bit much, but hey, it's up to the approval of everyone first whether it lives or dies :p
Yay, I love headaches when i'm working in the middle of a post ><

Anyways, maybe I should work on Laciel relationship with some of the children with others just like Ajah and Adore with their charys xD

Dooo eeet~~~
It's like, THE motivation destination of the generation.

I thought it was peer pressure :p

Regardless, looks like most of the gang is finally returning! All we need now is Bun Bun and all will be well in the world with her... gleefully... murdering you guys.

...

So, uh, weather's nice :p
Ohhh love triangles- I'm all about that .o. but I'm also more for monogamous relationships.. I mean you guys are free to have your love triangles and start your dramas- I'll be popping my popcorn and I'll gladly watch all of this. But I don't think I want to do the three soul mates thing.

@Savo Yes fuck fate. Thats a major decision for your characters to make- is this really going to be fate by flowers or are your characters going to decide who they'll love on their own? I don't want the pairings to be restrictive or anything-

Hell if Varric wants to be with Gunievere but he's meant to be with Illya then hell he can go for it.And ik its all set up for hetero relationships but honestly that doesn't have to end up being the case.

But yeah about including one more character- I will. I'll talk with Tendo about what role he wants and I'll play an extra character just to even things out for everyone.

I just updated my character post with the first of my two new characters c: he's not done yet but I can't wait to use him.

Well, I now know three people who will at least fight against the flower if the dice isn't nice. Besides, I have one final trump card in my mind if it reaches a breaking point. Interpretation is a strong point with this one :p

Also, I really should of gave Laciel a friend or two, maybe talk it out with a few others xD
@Savo
I just saved your sig gif btw :3 It's awesome

Thanks again m8! Found it and decided to make it my sig as it was too awesome to let up! :D
In the early recesses of the morning, a male figure was hard at work as he went about creating marvelous items from the ores the earth bore to the family. Weapons were neatly hanged in order to display the craftsmanship of the duo. The boy continuously hit at the bright metal at specific angles and places to form the item into what would be a newborn blade for a wandering adventurer to buy. As went to work, he stay attentive of not only the blade, but for any potential customers who decided to buy a weapon this early in the morning... then again, very seldom did he see a speck of life other than the occasional animal. As he finished melding the sword, he proceeded to cool it down before taking a look at the eloquently crafted blade.

"Hmm, not bad I would have to say. The blade is sharp as always with the point easily being able to rend flesh... brr, a rather ghastly thought but alas it is the truth, a sad one too at it..."

"Anyways, I need to deliver some weapons to a few people and Academymen today. I have a list of them who wished for me to deliver, however, others may appear to receive their weapons while I'm gone... Hopefully mother doesn't worry over me wandering off on some wondrous journey... not like that will happen with a grip stronger than steel"

With a placid sigh, he went inside the clean house which was kept well despite the sharp tools all around. Scanning the general area, he found a clean sheet of paper which was lying near surprisingly things that could be considered haphazard. That was a sign his mother possibly forgot to clean up something last night before heading off to the bar. Even if it was minor, they did have to keep appearances up to attract potential people who might wish to procure goods and he didn't at all want the impression of being sloppy.

The boy dealt with the problem as quickly as possible and went about his business, finding the required materials for leaving a note behind so she would understand where he traversed. As he went to work writing out a letter, he continued to ponder on the enigmatic message his father left for him involving flowers, along with the strange gift he received last night. He wracked his mind over their meaning, but continued to struggle with unlocking the secrets that averted his sight. Once he finished the letter, he left it on the desk since that was the first thing she would most likely see when coming into the lobby. With that said, he went back into the shop, procuring the goods before heading off.

"Makes me wonder why some people can't ever get this trade as it is rather simple. Then again, people have their own niche and can use it to assist them in their upbringing... Father practiced some alchemy but I struggled with conjuring up creative concoctions. Even so, I shouldn't give up on this path I carve. I might need to stubbornly find another way if she keeps trying to to me down and force me to go into blacksmithing and blacksmithing only. She knows that I have a lust for knowledge, but she is trying too hard to let that desire wilt away with her consistantly attempting to safeguard me... Maybe one day I'll be able to pursue it, but for now... this."

The boy lamented in his thoughts as he began his way south, cleaning his face off with a simple rag that became gray over the course of the wiping the grime and sweat embedded on his cheeks. He gained a few looks from a small amount of people around his age which must of garnered a reasoning for why he was up so early while having the appearance of being worn out. The others who were familiar with his kin of work an services he provide were no stranger as he delivered the weapons to their new found companions. One by one, he recorded them and their purchase along with gaining the proper amount of gold from them in the process. Over the course of the early morning, he dispatched the items with ease, before delivering the final weapon - a spear to its rightful owner. With that task finally completed, he began to traverse back to the blacksmith, contemplating on whether to go do some self training or study a bit...

... before hearing a familiar voice of a rather infamous fellow (in his eyes) complementing the mayors daughter. Even with that specific part of the sentence popping out, he was more curious to what he meant by scourge... and then he saw the deer that was devouring the mayors flowers. It was a bright yellow, the same color as the flowers which helped the boy easily discern that this was a cobalt deer. One of his books told him about the enchanted beasts that roamed close to town and he absorbed the knowledge into his system, gaining a keen understanding of the predicament. He also came to the conclusion of how to lure it away without jumping to the use of weaponry as it looked like they were a bit befuddled and almost ready to act on impulse.

"Alright, so deer problems... ok Laciel, just walk up to them and politely state your business and idea to remove the creature from the premises without the use of force."

"Uhm... Uh sir? I, er, uhm... I th-think I have a solution t-to th-this problem."

That could of been smoother than he thought as he attempted to avoid any sort of eye contact. This whole situation was awkward and he just wanted to flee back to the blacksmith as this was so embarrassing. What if he said the wrong thing or tripped over his own words?! This wasn't at all a good situation for Laciel.
That or harems are created in the process :p

In all seriousness, what if it was more of a screw fate sort of thing vs fate itself? That would certainly spice things up in a pinch! Then again, it might be a bit much to have two soul mates because that means you will either have three and three or four and two or one without a mate.

So yeah that's my recommendation on this subject.

Also, thanks snarl!
@Savo Accepted! I wasn't expecting the blacksmiths son to be frail- but I really really like what you did with it! I feel like- when the group goes strong to the rest of the world- he'll be the one that says "oh I read about these ancient ruins in a book once." or he'll know a lot about the history of the northern cities idk.

Quick question- by "frail" do you mean that he is just smaller than everyone else? Or is there something more medical connected to his fragility- like a heart murmur or something.

Nope, by frail, I mean he appears rather lanky and deceives others with his appearance who perceive him to be a weakling when in reality he could easily take down a strong opponent with ease thanks to innate strength that he grew over time thanks to a couple of training sessions.

Either way, all I can say is don't judge this book by his cover because he is a really difficult read.

Also, i'll post my app in the characters list later, i'm currently at graduation practice so yeah xD

Also, what about a graverobber or highwayman role? :p

Actually, I would be interested to see how you go about those roles with other people developing other characters and rivalries so i think you should add them in! The only problem I can see however is people dropping out so I can only recommend for you to be careful.
Almost forgot to post this, but here is my app!

Role/Class The Blacksmiths "Frail" Son, The Guardian

Appearance:

Name: Laciel Lenssed

Age: 18

Height: 6"1'

Personality:

A rather quiet and rather to himself sort of boy is not much one for words, or really anything revolving around talking since he is rather nervous about spouting the wrong thing along with having a bit of social anxiety. He isn't too headstrong and is rather thoughtful than rushing into the fray, despite having his mothers blood in him. He takes after his father in this sense by staying vigilant and alert to any danger coming near. However, back on the topic of talking to others. Due to being confined to the forge a lot, he doesn't exactly have people skills. Laciel has watched others speak to try and better himself, however it is unknown how soon he will improve.

Even with these drawbacks, ever since he was of a young age, Laciel held an innate curiosity of the world about him. He would always search for a way to study, even if it meant his mother scolding him for doing something reckless. If he becomes curious, it may overlap with his thoughtful side when weighing the odds. Usually his decisions are right most of the time, but sometimes they are less than desired results... such as the time he almost got killed by a bear. Thankfully his mother is a lot more fearsome than the bear and promptly caused it to flee, however being "fierce" is something he is lacking in with his supposedly decrepit appearance.

The boy has an immense dislike for being tied down to one path and prefers to choose his own way. Since his mother is often fearful of whatever dangers he might have to face, she is overprotective of him which gets old pretty quickly. He feels the need to speak out against her and how his mother is one step in front of him to make his troubles fleeting... Even with her other activities, she managed to keep a keen eye on him and is rather frustrated about being hounded on consistently. He finds it rather difficult to tell her off since it's difficult to locate a mean bone in his body. Even the best doctors around couldn't even find one if they tried... Even with these limitations, he does have a breaking point and one can only hope it isn't broken.

Bio:

"Laciel is a lot like his father I'll tell ya! Scholarly, curious... and a wee bit stubborn to boot."

- Leslie Lenssed

Hailing from a long line of scholars and blacksmiths, Laciel was born into a trade that would possibly consume his life and revolve around him consistently... if he wasn't so adverse to not being coaxed into the path of the forge. Ever since he was of a ripe age, he was always working beside his mother at the forge and at night would listen to his fathers encounters when traveling with her prior to them settling down in Vale eventually. Such tales fraught with excitement and mysteries attracted him, but most of all the delight of new knowledge that he could become enlighten with. The dream felt so far away to him, but he was determined to make it a reality and gain the wisdom of those before him. His life outside the house was less than spectacular than the stories spoke of by his father as he spent most of his time around the forge and less around the children. He grew close to his mother as he observed her conjure up weapons with her vitality. Over time he began to properly forge weapons for others, easily taking over his mothers spot when she went off hunting with father or in bed with a hangover after drinking myriads of men Laciel couldn't count (father included) under the table. It was annoying at first, but eventually he became accustomed to her less than stellar and boisterous habits.

When he is allowed off from the forge for working a tinge bit too hard, either Laciel pursues knowledge in his free time from the library, his assortment of books, or his father himself. His father expresses a lot of joy for taking interests in his path, but feels the need for leaving cryptic messages for Laciel to figure out. Once he figures out his fathers riddles he becomes ecstatic at his sons ability to properly comprehend his meanings whether it be physical in a sense or metaphorical. After figured out, he would spend a long time with his son, lecturing him and teaching him new things he had never known about before. These times allowed to bond with his father which he rarely had time for since he was usually out reliving his mystical tales through providing for the family. The other times he doesn't get the chance, he is seen by others hanging out in the library studying his days away while others train and enjoy their days in the sunlight. He was often teased by others for being so engrossed in books and was never seen training. Despite these stinging words, he took private lessons from his mother who demonstrated her skills which dazzled him. He often would test his mettle against his mother and other challengers, either failing or succeeding with his prior knowledge gained through his spars with Leslie. This only continued to fuel the desire for paving his own path.

One day, his father left without leaving a trace or warning with the exception of a simple letter created with a cryptic message which befuddled his mother. The two were bothered by two completely different reasons, his mother who became worried over his fathers disappearance due to the dangers which most likely were in wait. Laciel became worried over the measures she would go to when becoming very overprotective for another, coming to the conclusion of what sacrifices she would make to safeguard what she dearly loves. This lead to his mother keep a closer grip and keener eye on son after the event which began to slightly suffocate him with the ever impending presence. He rarely could stray too far, but he wanted to travel to bring his father back due to a paltry rumor that caused a ruckus over his family... although he did also find it slightly interesting since it offered something he knew and loved all too well. Other than that, he often attempted to make talk with the other children after watching them make contact with one another. He hadn't really socialize with people other than the exceptional few he would come upon. However, when the event arose to gain a new friend, he ran off to "get to work at the forge." Laciel found himself being consistently beat up mentally through this as he became annoyed at his inability to form a long lasting friendship with another.

At the age of eighteen, his sword-skills and smithery have made his mother and him known as the dynamic duo of forging in the village as they continued to make weapons with infallible craftsmanship, with the exception of a few times due to a few mistakes, some of which from his mother, Leslie. From what he could tell, she was still bothered by his fathers leave, even after the two years that flew by before his very eyes. It was seemingly becoming worse as she began to fret a bit more, little by little. It was difficult to notice to the naked eye but she could easily hide her sorrows from others, with the exception of Laciel who began to constantly worry over her well-being since the stress was possibly getting to her in both ways. Along with her becoming perturbed, his social skills were still lacking horribly as he struggled to develop them over the years. That was the only thing that ever continued to dull over the years, until of course he was greeted by an enigmatic letter signed by his father lying on his bed. This one made even less sense than before and made him wrack his brains over more than before to understand it.

Laciel did ponder upon the letter, but he hasn't found an answer, yet for the most part...

Weapon:

A mithril longsword specially crafted by Laciel himself at a tender age which was considered almost a bit difficult to wield at his age and had assistance from his mother when making it. It's rather large and difficult for most people to properly wield, however thanks to the inherited strength, he seems to possess the vital strength to use the weapon. It has an engraving above the guard of it with two L's side by side.

Skills:

Mimic: With a thirst for procuring wisdom, he has the ability to properly mimic others fighting styles to put them at a roadblock. Even with a simple longsword, he can almost properly copy another. If he managed to wield the same weapon, then they could be in loads of trouble.

Counter: Once he properly learns of a person and their fighting style he can turn the tables and swiftly use their own strategy against them, or come up with a new one to easily fall them.

Endurance and Fortitude: Training with others and mainly his mother has left more than a fair amount of bruises and cuts. However, such endeavors that he has endured have caused him to toughen up and become formidable in combat which can cause major surprised to others who don't expect him to be able to properly jump into the fray. Laciel also has his mothers unrivaled strength which was nurtured over spars and losses into the budding blacksmith he is today.

Watchful Eye: Laciel has spent a lot of time sneaking away from the stray eyes of Leslie, allowing him to get a taste of nature. Not only can he analyze the area around him, but he can keep up with any inconsistencies in his line of sight as if it was childs play. However, keeping an eye on his environment isn't the only thing he can extort to his advantage.

Scholarly Mind: Laciel spends as much time in the books as he does in the forge. He keeps a whole library in the room containing him and will often become sleep deprived to procure knowledge. His love for knowledge allows him to gain information quicker and dispense them to others that he feels that could put this knowledge to use. An example is his knowledge of the forge and his power to easily create wonders. Even so, he won't hesitate to use such a thing to his advantage for his own reasons.
