So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Also as no-one really commented on this, I shall bring it forth as I think it's kinda important:

So how does everything think things are going? If there's any constructive criticism about the general direction of the game, I'm all ears.

It's still very early on but I think we have a nice mixture of interaction and solo arcs going on. I'm always one to err on the side of letting people do their own thing - I think game-wide events should be very few and far between, though if people are of the opinion that there should be more direction, I could be amenable to that.

And also, if there are people that have hit a wall with their characters or are thinking about dropping them, I'd encourage you to say so, if only so that those of us in the OOC thread can either help you out - be that through general advice, helping with planning, and/or getting some interaction sorted out. I don't want anyone to feel like they have to stick with characters they've been accepted for if they are no longer feeling it. I know in some games there's a particularly unforgiving culture for dropping out but I'd sooner have happy, active posters IC than force people to stick with something after they've soured on an idea.

Well it is an automatic shop.

So like, duh. It is run by robots.



Also yeah I like to plan my arcs out, but leave enough wiggle room for interaction occasionally or world changing events.

@Morden Man I think, personally (as the resident OOC spammer), that game wide events should be a thing but built upto. Usually within one of the key groups (in this case, the Justice League), an Arc that can be interupted with Solo arcs and then builds to a climax which lets more people throughout the RP get involved before the resolution and then things calm down again.

More for the fact that it adds some spice, than direction. I don't know about everyone else but I am happy to run solo arcs and occasionally have some interaction but I think with the authority of GM (or Co-GM... -eyes @Lord Wraith-) it creates a story that other people can get involved in, with ane element of suspense and surprise. As they don't know what's going to happen!

That's just my two cents anyway.



Also as Natty, Morden and people who know me know I like to plan out future arcs so if someone is struggling I can help out if you want.
