So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Command centre of the Monarch.
Taris Industrial District.
1900HRS Local Time.

She walked with a purpose, people moving out of her way as she approached. Some of them pretending to busy themselves, whereas some of them were actually busy. She didn't care too much. These people were broken anyway, it was evident on all of their faces. Yes they still held true to the dream of the Empire and all that it could hold, but they weren't living in reality. The sooner they recognized that the old Empire was gone the sooner they could build something new, something better, in its place. Walking into the centre of the room she held out her hand. "Inventory report." A holotablet was placed in her hand, and she had to suppress the urge to scowl.

Two Imperial Star Destroyers, the Gladiator and a handful of escorts which was a reasonably sized fleet. Though as she suspected, since the fall of the second Death Star desertions rose through the roof and the ground forces stood at just over ten thousand troops. She could barely fill the two star destroyers she had with troops. Thankfully she still had all the vehicles, around 60 AT-STs and 40 AT-ATs... the problem was that there wasn't any crew to crew them. She sighed as she handed the datapad back over to the officer who had given it to her. It seemed like her second job, filling in for the Governor was beginning to take all her time away from her project, she had been making significant headway till the fool Venuti tried to give up the planet.

"Engsign." The man who was previously at her side stopped and turned around.

"Ma'am?" She just scowled at him. "I mean Sir?"

"Contact Major Conrad. I need to see him immediately."

"Yes sir."

Rebel Holdout.
Taris Undercity.

Lance slammed the datapad down. "You're kidding me right?" The poor officer didn't really know how to react, but then again Lance was known for keeping a cool head. "We came on a Cruiser full to the brim with troops. Over two thousand men, plus vehicles. To speak nothing for our escort, and you're telling me we're down to one thousand-eight-hundred and fifty three men, a handful of vehicles to mention and so far we've only managed to find Blue, Hawk and Nyx Squadrons with a handful of other pilots from the rest." He rubbed the bridge of hise forhead with his right hand. "It's been two karking months people!" Everyone in the command centre stopped to look at this point. "I know it isn't easy, I know... this-" He indicated to the makeshift command room they had constructed in an old abandoned apartment block "-Isn't exactly what we signed up for. We need to be doing better." He sighed as the put the datapad down.

"Everyone, go get some rest. I'll keep an eye on the comms. There's not a Op running right now anyway." They turned and looked at him and he just waved them away. "That's an order, get out of here you pesky kids." He sat down and leaned back in his chair, letting a groan out of his body. Why High Command, or whatever it was called these days, ever let them come with just a single company of men was beyond him. Ideally they would have brought an entire occupation force, moved in to secure the planet. When it turned out that this was a trap they would then have had the capacity to fight off the Imperials to either a) Still secure the planet or b) to fight their way back out of the system. Instead they had been forced to ground and had spent the last two months moving from place to place.

The latest hideout was an old apartment building, the city above had been torn down in a war long forgotten exposing one face to the sky and plant life grew all over. It probably wasn't the most structurally sound but it gave them access to the air and a place to rest their heads, the nearby buildings also allowed them to set up a rudimentary perimeter so while they wouldn't be holding off any major assaults if the Imperials sent a scout party they'd be able to hold the line long enough to fall back and find somewhere new to hide. He was hoping they'd last longer this time, everytime they had to find a new base they lost more and more men. He wasn't even sure all those he lost were dead, some of them probably just gave up.

He turned his swivel chair around to face the astromech that sat lazily in the corner. "Bleep, I need you to do me a favour. Go find Suri and tell her I need to see her." He turned back around to face his console. "I just got a bad idea, and I need her for a mission."
@SoleAccord 'fraid for the initial portion Rebels are gimped pretty hard, they did just bring one Company of troops after all. This is because at the start I want to keep the "Rebel" feeling rather than "all-out-war" feeling that's going to happen later
After the weeks following the destruction of the Death Star II, Knight and his crew were still stationed above Naboo as part of the planetary defence. It wasn’t until the third week of hearing nothing from Naval Command and Control, Knight than began to broadcast to nearby Imperial outfits in neighbouring sectors. However, the open comms were a mess, and it seemed the entire battle net was out of sync from itself. That is when Knight made the decision to abandon his post from Naboo and begin to rally all the Imperial forces into one coherent force.

It was after this he had learnt of the destruction of the second Death Star and the rumoured death of the Emperor. Quickly distress calls began to flood the comms and Rebel forces across the galaxy were throwing up arms against the Empire.
