So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Alright. I'll place a link for it under the Unique section as well. Also, are unused Stasis Pods permissible? Given what happened to his crew, the captain won't really be using them very much or in anyway that I can think of as overpowered.

Yeah they're fine. A lot of races have them and at the end of the day they're just really long term beds.

Also I realise I keep saying Lantaen rather than Lantean. It's force of habit after I named my people Lantaen on stellaris.
@Sep
Quick question. Exactly what should go under Unique Technology? All the tech used onboard a ship, including weapons, as none are native to the verse in question and thus "unique"? Or just the most powerful/rare tech that the race puts on their space craft?

Unique tech is basically anything your ship boasts that's of particular interest/unique to your craft in its own universe. So with an Aurora class, your main thing is the Drones.

@Mataus - Interesting. Accepted. Feel free to put it across. I'll use the 0th post to sort out the CS table.

In terms of my sheet, I'm going to wait to see what some other people come up with. I have two ideas in my head, but it'll depend on what niche I feel needs filled within the group.

Eh, don't worry about it. I do the same late most of the time. Also, a deserter might work as well. I could also make it fit with the mutiny thing as well.

That's the best way I can think of to be a fully functional Aurora without being ridiculously OP.
<Snipped quote by Sep>

Well the ship can have a minimum of one crew member according to the wiki. I could do that. Maybe have a mutiny take place where the former captain jettisoned the crew into deep space in order to save his/her ship and life.

It's the benefit of Lantaen interface tech. You can have one person piloting the ship but then repair is hard. Also if you want reasons. You can always have a deserter from the Lantaen/Wraith war or someone being all heroic.

Edit: tired, on phone and gaming. Which is why I'm kinda skipping words and putting sentences together in a weird order.
Hmm... The Aurora class isn't that bad. It has ridiculous shielding and the drones could annihilate just about anything but... The Aurora wouldn't be able to replenish its drones. I'd also hope to avoid having a ZPM unless we find a good story reason to have it. (Like at some point an antagonist steals it)

The real problem would be the Ancients themselves. We know little of their culture and their science- well, they know how how everything works!

I'd recommend an old Aurora class ship inhabited by "The Travelers" or SGC personnel. I'd further suggest the Travelers since they could work well with those aboard the BC-304 since the SGC/Atlantean personnel would know how to use their ship better than the travellers would.

If it was ancients the way I'd have to see it done is a skeleton crew. Rather than a fully fledged crew with scientists capable of who knows what.
<Snipped quote by Sep>

Well it will be a completely different ship and crew, but I see what you mean.

Well Aurora class is what I'm getting at. Any 304 crew would recognise it as a Lantaen vessel. Whereas they wouldn't recognize a 304 as the future.

I'm going to throw my sheet up, whatever if may be, tomorrow.
<Snipped quote by Sep>

you still can. As a matter of fact, I still hope someone makes a ship piloted by a System Lord just for the drama it will undoubtedly create.

I know I can, after all I am the GM 😅. It's whether or not I want too. I mean at the end of the day the crew of the 304 would know what the Aurora was. And be all like 'Oh hey it's you guys!' meanwhile the crew of the Aurora would be all like 'so what universe are you from?'
Well I've decided on an Aurora Class Lantean Battleship from Stargate.

*Flails* and here I was going to go a good old BC404
I'll start working on a ship. I'd like to go for a Kryptonian gunship, but there isn't lots of specific info on those.

As long as you can fill the kind of basic criteria.
