Not to get all psychological, but some people are actually just 'wired' to take things people say literally. I'm like that to an extent, but I've learned that people here are usually just shitposting.

This bio will get reconstructed once I've left the site for good. I'll be collecting my data in the background for now, and sorting some loose ends. I'll be on and off to do it, so don't think I'm back if you see me around. Once I've dealt with everything, I'll log out properly and remove my 'ghost' status, and that'll be the last this site sees of me. This community is in serious need of growing up, and I'm not the least bit surprised that role-plays die here so frequently.

The 'Grim Reaper's Gambit' role-play is likely to reboot elsewhere eventually. The role-play will have some modifications, so contact me if you're curious since the original project won't accurately explain everything. There's no determined date for it to happen yet, since I've got other priorities and I'm not investing a lot of time in it until enough of the people interested have free time to properly commit (lack of dedication on the part of some players practically destroyed the previous version; it's very apparent it would've died even if I hadn't decided to leave). There's a group that're quite interested, but most of them are busy.

You too. I figured there wasn't much point keeping up to date here until Raddum gets back to us -- the holidays are probably distracting him.

Most of my efforts have been on setting my own role-play up, alongside trying to motivate myself not to leave this site -- I've had multiple reasons for thinking I should, and whether it happens or not'll likely be at least partly determined by the outcome of that role-play.

I think it's time for a widespread notification and update for everyone.

Before I say anything -- I'd like to wish you all a belated Merry Christmas, and I hope you all have a great New Year. 2016 has - in all honesty - been a complete train wreck for a variety of reasons, even in my own life personally. I guess here's hoping that the next year coming is an improvement, and I'd like this role-play to be something that can provide you all with enjoyment.

Since Ellion hasn't responded to me either in PM or through the notification they got here recently, I'm assuming they're out and won't bother notifying again.

I appreciate you guys (and Ailyn) taking the time to get things going with your character sheets without needless delay (I know tsukune hasn't finished his 'Private CS', but I imagine it's only a matter of time now). I hope you enjoy the role-play, which is now essentially open for people who want to start early and write their character's experiences/interactions/et cetera prior to us making our way to the primary setting. You're not obligated to do this, so consider it an option if you'd enjoy it -- I'll notify everyone once they officially need to start posting.

Aewin and Melo -- once you two aren't busy, I'd appreciate you making the edit in your character sheets involving replacing 'Trivia' with 'Notes'. I appreciate you doing it already, Pudding, so cheers for that.

I'm aware that some of you're busy with the holidays and such, so I don't mind that there hasn't been any communication in the thread itself yet, especially since you've been contacting me outside of it. Just try to get your characters together as soon as you're able to (I know a couple of you have sent me basic ideas over PM and such), because I'd like to not have this role-play become just another thread to die before it even begins like so many seem to on this site.

Status updates:

Leonard Christian-Walker's 'Public CS' has received a few more little improvements.

Lucifer Van Bonaparte's CS was also improved slightly.

The opening IC post has been touched up to make it look how I wanted ideally, and as stated previous the role-play is now unofficially open.

Accepted 'Private CS' PMs will soon receive an additional PM from me, and I'd prefer if nobody actually respond to those, since I want to keep those PM threads limited to your CS and the reply.

(Mmm, yeah. Honestly, it's not due to someone getting on my nerves or anything this time. I'm just genuinely getting bothered by how much this site is holding back the work of my main project. Situation's changed again. My circumstances got even worse, so I definitely won't have time to read through any information about the source material for now. I'll leave it up to you if you're still interested in seeing what I had at the present time, but I'm getting to that point where I don't know if I'd be a reliable player and I don't like committing to things unless I'll actually commit to them -- I hate flaky GMs and flaky players, so I won't be a hypocrite.

Just notify me if you want me to PM my idea -- I'll leave you guys alone otherwise, at least until I can confirm if I'm truly able to get involved. As it currently stands there's an average probability I'll be leaving the site as a whole. Sort of going to let the outcome of my main role-play decide that, since I don't have any intentions of abandoning that project if people are sticking with it.
