Can't really think of anything interesting for Taleste so I'll do her recap and responding to your next post in one.
@Drakey

An error message sounded in the robot's brain, warning it that it it's connection to the mainframe was lost, and new actions must be a calculated, but those actions stayed the same. A slave to it's core programming in the absence of commands from it's Cosman masters, the mainframe had been quiet for decades. The robot used it to scan and sense the goings on of the entire temple, but here, with it's foe in this room, the robot's own audio and heat sensors could detect the enemy's location and stance, using it to predict future activity.

The robot had noticed that the intruder's wing had been damaged and that aerial combat and manoeuvring would be impeded. They would have a harder time avoiding attacks. Of course, it seemed to favour melee combat with it's sword. 'Countermeasure:Remove sword'. The robot, instead of blocking or deflecting the sword, or dodging, positioned itself quickly so that the sword would penetrate non-vital components, and once inserted into the chest plate, would be grabbed by the robot's hands tightly. At that point, the robot would reverse it's jet thrusters and boost backwards as fast as it could, in an effort to force Elizabeth to let go of her sword.
I like the look of all the quests, so I'll leave off posting until a few people have picked, and made my mind up for me.

Dammit. She should have known the peace wouldn't last. He complimented her again, and again, the human woman shrugged it off. The Centauress, against her better judgement and the knowledge of what alcohol did to her race, downed her drink and put her glass down, inviting a refill. The flush on her face was equally from the drink as well as her embarrassment.

"I'll promise to tell you anything you want about me if you promise to stop complimenting me while I'm drunk."

@13org

"I am not a learned lady or a scholar, I'm afraid. Just a simple maiden of faith, and Shephard to my fellow person. Though I cannot deny I hold my own musings and curiosities on the bigger questions, and I will be the first to admit there is much I do not know or understand. Such topics would be better left to the scholars, wizards, philosophers, engineers and great minds of this world. As for my servitude to the order until recently, it was largely a matter of where I was born and raised.It was no misfortune. I believe it was destiny. The grand plan for me needed me to have the upbringing that I did, to make me the woman I am now. They were brutes. You do not need to feel guilty for insulting the men who branded me a traitor and a radical for preaching love, equality and forgiveness to all peoples, including women and Monsters.

Although, I would heed the advice of your Centaur friend. Monsters are more in tune with bestial instincts, and doubly so when drunk."

@mdk

If they don't think they have the housing, money or resources to cope, or don't have enough unskilled jobs to keep unemployment from rising drastically, than I think so, but really, it's nt up to me. It'd be up to the government of FSDGTG. Their word is law because that's what law is.
@mdk

If a law's popular it's good. If it's unpopular, it'll make people unhappy and possibly get changed/start a revolt/protest/revolution if there are enough unpopular laws.

Laws aren't morals. Laws are commands from the people in charge.
@Odin

I agree with this. 'Morals' are a human invention, and every society has a different set of morals. You can't call an act of another country or it's citizens 'wrong' just because it breaks the moral code of the United States. In the UK, most people aren't allowed to bear arms at all, period. If an armed gunman broke into their house, they couldn't shoot back. A man from the US might see this as wrong. Conversely a man from the UK sees an average American family owning a gun that the children could possibly get access to as wrong.
